Hello Friends!! today in our video Jonell and Shawn get into a deep conversation about Disney studios' The Chronicles of Narnia: The lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. "The lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" released into theater in December 9th, 2005 and is based upon the iconic book series "The Chronicles of Narnia" written by C.S Lewis who is both a British writer and Anglican Christian Theologian. The movie version was directed by Andrew Adamson who is also known for popular movies such as the Shrek franchise and Puss in boots. This movie contains multiple headliner actors such as Liam Neeson as the great lion Aslan and Tilda Swinton as Jadis the White Witch and is also the first of 3 movies to be created by Disney in the Narnia Universe. Narnia was a very ambitious project for the Walt Disney Company to pursue with other box office hits such as harry potter and the lord of the rings, Disney aimed to join on the fantasy world pool to create the narnia franchise. This movie had a budget of 180,000,000 and to date has produced $291,710,957 proving that it was a box office success and led to the creation of the 2 other subsequent films.
