• Ashley Massaro winning the Diva Search over Leyla Milani.
• Ken Anderson becoming Mr. Kennedy.
• Masahiro Chono winning the G1 Climax as a tribute to Shinya Hashimoto.
• A wild angle in the WWC featuring Eddie Colon being imprisoned in the Dominican Republic.
• The Summer of Punk ends in ROH as he loses his title to James Gibson in Dayton and then loses his farewell match to Colt Cabana in Chicago Ridge.
• TNA Sacrifice on PPV and lots more TNA stuff in one of the most stable eras of that promotion's history thanks to Scott D’Amore’s booking and the impending debut of Impact on Spike TV.
