德國的馬克斯‧普朗克人類發展研究所進行了一項研究，探討玩暴力遊戲的人，是否會因為遊戲而產生較高的暴力傾向。
研究團隊招募了90位受試者，年齡介於18-45歲之間。
其中48人為女性，無神經與精神方面的疾病，而且過去的六個月中沒有在玩遊戲。
研究結果是，玩暴力遊戲的、玩一般遊戲的、不玩遊戲的，他們的心理狀態、暴力傾向，通通沒差！
