布朗大學的David Gale和藍德公司的Lloyd Shapley 提出了解決婚外情的方法，稱為「Gale-Shapley」演算法。
其中一個方法是：主動方隨著告白失敗，不斷降低標準，找比較沒那麼喜歡的對象告白。
而被動方則是「騎驢找馬」，只要有更好的對象出現在面前，便毫不遲疑的把身邊的「暫時對象」甩掉。
最後似乎就不再有婚外情發生了！
