今年的諾貝爾物理獎頒給了量子科技的基礎研究，要弄清楚這個研究的來龍去脈，我們要回溯到 20 世紀前 30 年，物理學界發生的「量子力學」大革命。愛因斯坦是量子力學早期發展的奠基者之一，但是他非常不喜歡後來的「機率詮釋」，於是槓上了提倡機率詮釋的「哥本哈根學派」領袖波爾，波爾因為對理解原子光譜與原子結構的貢獻，獲得 1922 年的諾貝爾物理獎。丹麥的啤酒商因此拉了一個水龍頭到波爾家中，一開水龍頭就有源源不絕的啤酒可以喝到飽。
愛因斯坦：「波爾，上帝不擲骰子！」
波爾：「愛因斯坦，別告訴上帝祂該做什麼！」
