竹科地區所在的竹苗區，升學競爭激烈，但僧多粥少，導致新竹第一志願的新竹實驗中學，113年錄取分數高達5A10+，作文還要5級分才能錄取，先前更曾出現5A10+、作文6級分的錄取分數，分數只要稍微掉一點，可能就要到苗栗縣就讀，以致許多竹苗區家長寧可選擇跨區到台北市就讀高中，或是苗栗地區直接在台中就讀私中，多年來竹苗區家長的心聲，也一直未獲重視，今天就來聊聊。
