Episode 125 : The Union Airwaves Round Table
About this episode
Brothers and sisters, what an incredible discussion.
Tonight wasn't about proving who was right. It wasn'tabout creating division. It was about bringing together some of the strongestvoices in our union for one respectful conversation centered on education, accountability, and the future of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Whether you agreed with every opinion shared tonight ornot, I hope you walk away with one important message: your voice matters.
A union is only as strong as the members who choose toparticipate. Read your National Agreement. Learn your rights. Ask questions.Hold your leaders accountable. Support your local branch. Vote in yourelections. Become involved not just when something affects you personally, butbecause every carrier deserves a strong union.
I want to sincerely thank every one of our guests fordonating their time, their knowledge, and their experience. Each of you hasmade a difference in educating letter carriers across this country, and tonightyou demonstrated what respectful dialogue looks like.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who tuned in. Yourwillingness to learn is what makes our union stronger.
As we head into the National Convention, I wish everydelegate, every guest, and every letter carrier traveling a safe journey. Enjoythe convention, learn from one another, build new friendships, and return homeready to continue serving the membership.
From my heart, thank you for allowing me to be yourhost.
