Episode 1298 SD Walleye Phenom Beau Schilling!!

It was Bo Schilling's turn.

We had the young North Dakota walleye phenom Jaden Wendelon between hook sets and we knew

Bo Schilling was going to join us it was a matter of when.

Well it was last Wednesday night at 7 o'clock.

We talked about a million things including this year's national walleye tour and he talked

about fishing with his dad and fishing with a team or not.

It's pretty cool you know there's not very many opportunities you'd be able to do that

with your old man and NWT is not an event where you can fish with each other so you've got to

go up and do your own thing but not I mean we're going to be working together and I believe

Garrick's going to come with us on a couple two he wanted to dip his toes in the water so it'll

be pretty cool to travel with some really good people.

I think if you stay on your own with your old man and possibly Garrick I don't know if there's

a better team out there in my mind.

I like to keep it simple obviously maybe after a couple of years something will change up or

I talked to a couple guys about it and I pretty much told them I was like I don't even know what

I'm doing to be honest.

Never done anything like this so I was like just let's wait on it you know and get back to me

and just I don't want to burn any bridges or anything because I like I love fishing and stuff

but like the NWT like chasing tournaments that like year round it's going to be a little

different night year round but summer and fall and spring obviously it's going to be a little

different for me so I'm just going to kind of wait on partners we're traveling dad and Mac this year.

Bo-Shilling a caska South Dakota won the governor's cup last year and the casino cup and a ton of

others let's put it this way this young man is definitely a South Dakota walleye phenom and it's

going to be a blast to follow Bo-Shilling on the national walleye tour starting in April he'll
