Episode 142: CLC Region 8 NBA Candidate Danna Chambless

On this episode of Hot House with Richie Ray, we welcome back Danna Chambless, President of NALC Branch 4in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Concerned Letter Carriers (CLC) candidate for National Business Agent of Region 8.

Danna's story is one of dedication, perseverance, and leadership. From beginning her postal career as a Part-Time Flexible employee in Louisiana in 1996 to becoming the first woman elected President of Branch 4, she has spentnearly three decades serving letter carriers in nearly every union role imaginable. Her experience spans steward work, Formal A representation, route inspections, CDRAAP, leadership training, and branch administration.

But this conversation is about much more than a résumé.

This election may be one of the most consequential in NALC history. Letter carriers across the country are frustrated by delayed justice, staffing shortages, burnout, declining morale, and questions about the future direction of the union.

We'll discuss why every member's vote matters, why Danna chose to run with the Concerned Letter Carriers slate, what she believes is broken within the union, and what she believes must change.
