So, claim your free aging muscle protocol guide and free sample of MyDepere gummies from Timeline at Timeline.com slash Dylan. It's the science-back breakdown of exactly what's happening to your muscles as you age and how to fight back. Do you want improved metabolic health? How about increased endurance and exercise performance? Maybe some anti-aging potential? How about fat loss support? Or muscle recovery and repair? Well, you can get all of those things and more with a peptide that some people are talking about, but not enough people. That's MOTC. MOTC is one of my favorite peptides. I've been talking about it for quite a while when I first learned about it. I have brought it up to clients. I've studied it. I've talked to different people that are well known all over the world about their thoughts. Let's break this down. Let's get into some science. Let's get into some real world. Let's just cut through the nonsense and get right down to it. So MOTC, what does that even mean?

So MOTS, ash, sea. That is mitochondrial open reading frame of the 12S RNA-C. So let's just stick with MOTC. How about that? Now, it's a peptide that's encoded not in nuclear DNA, but in one of my favorite, favorite words, mitochondrial DNA. So this makes it really unique. It's part of a class of peptides that are called mitochondrial derived peptides. So what does that mean? Those are small proteins that act as signaling molecules that help regulate metabolism and cellular stress responses. So this was actually discovered in 2015, and it was circulating in the bloodstream and influencing key metabolic pathways, particularly those that are tied to energy balancing glucose control. Unlike most hormones and peptides synthesized in the nucleus, MOTC originates directly from the mitochondria, so that really reinforces its role as a metabolic regulator. MOTC is produced in the skeletal muscle and other tissues where it acts locally and

systemically, and that helps to maintain metabolic homeostasis. So because of this, researchers looked at it as a potential therapeutic target for conditions like obesity, type 2 diabetes, and age-related metabolic decline. So for different kinds of context here, it belongs to the same family of mitochondrial peptides as humanin. And so that's another mitochondrial derived peptide that's being studied for its protective role in aging and cellular stress. Now let's talk about functionality here. So it functions primarily as a metabolic regulator, and what that does is it helps cells to adapt to energy stress, as well as improving efficiency. Now it's key mechanism lies in the activation of AMPK. This is a cellular energy sensor that's often referred to as our body's metabolic master switch. So the good stuff. When AMPK is activated by MOTC, a lot of different things start happening. One, we have stress resistance, so this helps our cells adapt to oxidative stress,

and also maintain metabolic balance. Two, we have improved glucose utilization. So MOTC enhances insulin sensitivity, which enables our cells to absorb and use glucose more efficiently. Then increased fat oxidation by stimulating AMPK. It helps to promote the use of stored fat for energy. And then we also have enhanced mitochondrial function. So that supports ATP production and cellular energy during exercise and metabolic stress. It optimizes energy metabolism at the mitochondrial level. So that gives it applications in both athletic endurance, but also anti-aging medicine. So I said a list of things that it was going to improve at the very beginning when I talked about metabolic health. MOTC enhances insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake. That makes it a candidate for treating obesity and type 2 diabetes. Because when it activates AMPK, it supports better blood sugar regulation and energy balance.

It also increases endurance and exercise performance. How so? When we improve mitochondrial efficiency and fat oxidation, MOTC can potentially enhance our exercise capacity and endurance. So obviously this makes it appealing to people like me that are on the endurance side of things when they train. And it helps us to really push further behind normal energy limitations. And I can certainly vouch for this on a personal and professional level, not only by personal use, but people that I've coached that have used it as well. Now anti-aging, many of you know this, but mitochondria play a central role in aging. And peptides that increase mitochondrial function are certainly going to be looked at and viewed upon of high interest for most people. It's been shown to protect against oxidative stress, improve cellular resilience, and also extend healthy lifespan. Fat loss support was another thing that I brought up. So when we activate AMPK, MOTC encourages lipid oxidation. That means it helps the body burn fat for

energy. And this is led to interest in its role as a weight management peptide, especially when you combine it with a good strong diet with good exercise, disciplined and consistency. Please remember and understand just because you start taking a bunch of stuff doesn't mean it's just going to do all the work for you. There's going to be things you're probably going to be able to get away with. I'm not going to lie, but are the same token put in the work in an effort or you're never going to get what you should. And internally it will reflect on your blood panels. Talked about muscle recovery and repair. That was another one that I brought up. So when we improve metabolic stress tolerance, MOTC can potentially protect muscle tissue during intense recovery. So you know, what do we talk about a lot all over? And I just did a video on the Wolverine stack BPC 157 TB 500 those target your healing and repair. But MOTC is different because it offers recovery support through energy optimization and reduced oxidative damage. Now I want to just briefly touch on the endurance and energy output because I keep talking about that studies,

animal studies, but once again, I say that because that's on paper, but human life performance that I'm aware of, it shows that MOTC can improve running capacity and overall physical endurance. Looking at it, it seems that that would occur from the fat oxidation, the glucose utilization, and that helps to sustain energy supply when we're having prolonged activity. And then one other thing that I would really like to bring up is exercise-induced stress protection. One of the things that I've found is that MOTC can potentially shield skeletal muscle from metabolic stress when we have that high intensity exercise because when it activates the AMPK and it improves our mitochondrial efficiency, it's actually supporting faster recovery of our ATP levels post-exertion. So this makes it conceptually similar to recovery peptides again, like BPC 157, like TB 500, but its mechanism is based on energy regulation as aside from tissue repair and it works directly on our cell's energy machinery. And that offers a distinct method of improving athletic performance.

Let's talk about some longevity research. I'm a big cellular guy. I've done a lot of study on cellular health, biology. Mitochondria are central to the aging process because they regulate energy production, oxidative stress, and cellular survival. MOTC is encoded in mitochondrial DNA. So it's being looked at as something for extending lifespan and delaying age-related decline and health span. Because like I say, the goal is to not just add years to our life. We want to add life to our years. We want to be healthy. We want to be happy. We want to live well. And we want to thrive as we get older. I want to talk to you a little bit about cellular protection. MOTC is going to help ourselves adapt to stress by activating the AMPK that I'm talking about and related pathways that are going to help restore energy balance. The metabolic reprogramming actually is going to increase our resilience against oxidative damage, which if you're not aware, that is a key driver of cellular aging. In animal treatments, again, MOTC actually showed that it improved markers of mitochondria

health and it reduced metabolic dysfunction that is associated with aging. The other things that I would like to bring up is metabolic stability across aging. One of the most consistent findings out there with MOTC research is its ability to maintain glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity. And this was even an older testing subject. Metabolic dysfunction is a hallmark of aging and MOTC can help to delay diseases. Think about obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular decline. MOTC stands out for its role in metabolic homeostasis. So that makes it a candidate for both performance enhancement and age-related disease prevention. What about side effects? Because nothing out there ever comes without some sort of worry. I've talked about a lot of great things here. But the safety profile is still a little bit incomplete. You'll have to be aware that certain things that haven't been studied for 20, 30, 40 years, there is potential. On paper, it doesn't look like that would occur, but there are some things to be aware of. Pretty much it's well tolerated from everything I've seen

from every paper I've read and from anybody that I've ever encountered. It's pretty minimal. Some of the small things that I've seen are some mild fatigue, potential headaches and temporary nausea. Right now, long-term side effects and worries are unknown. But there are some theoretical ideas based upon how it works and how it functions. Metabolic overstimulation is one potential because chronic AMPK activation may interfere with natural energy signaling. There's also some unknown hormonal interactions. It's not directly androgenic, as I said, but changes in energy regulations have the potential to influence hormone pathways indirectly. And then cellular dysregulation, because MOTC affects fundamental metabolic processes, there's the potential for unintended consequences if dosing gets completely out of control. When it comes to dosing, I like to just avoid that anymore because there's too many people that one thing that I say can backfire. So I think for now, I'm just going to avoid that. I'm just going to give the facts,

talk about all of the things that I have found over the years between my studies, personal use, professional use, all the people that I've got to interact with, everything that I've read up to this point. In short, MOTC has the ability to have benefits for metabolic health, fat loss, endurance, recovery, and aging. It's at the top of my list because when we start talking about cellular health and recovery and mitochondrial function, I'm listening for sure. So hopefully this breakdown helps. I'm going to be covering a lot. If you have anything that you want covered, leave it in the comments and I will certainly get on it for everybody. That being said, stay tuned for plenty more to come. Dylan Jamelli, signing off.
