Speaking for myself, the main reason I became interested in psychedelics & plant medicines was directly correlated to the idea of self mastery. The ability to move through life both with awareness & the necessary drive to take action to change the things about ourselves that feel out of alignment is paramount if we are to actually LIVE our lives, rather than have our lives live us.
