What's the difference between someone who has a "hostage mentality", and someone who has a "volunteer mentality"?
We see people who are living as hostages in their own mind every day. Someone who has a "hostage mentality" is someone who fundamentally believes that life is against them. These people have not learned who they really are, and are suffering from identifying completely with the ego mind, or what is otherwise known as their "pain body". They are creating a life they hate.
On the other end of the spectrum. someone who has a "volunteer mentality" is someone who fundamental believes that life is serving them. These people have embraced who they really are, and are identifying with their true identity as the observer of themselves. They are using their mind, body, and emotions to create the life they desire.
