ee. Jim Cornet. Look, he's too tough you jaw. He'll buy the past and attack. Deep part never-riding last. He sends this message out by podcast. Jim Cornet. Well, he's never fake. Cos' Vonir. He never backs down from a fight. He never wins the pony. Because his mama raised him right. It's time to prepare your mind. Oh, get the experience. Get the experience. Get the experience. Get the experience. Jim Cornet. Hello and get everybody and welcome to another exciting episode of the Jim Cornet experience. That's me. It's the day after my birthday episode of the Jim Cornet experience and the promotions didn't give me the gift of good wrestling. So we're going to talk about what they did give us and more
and joining me for all this and who knows what the hell we're going to do. Oh, I and Brian the podcasting lion, the king of the Arcadian Vanguard podcast network. Mr. co-host to you. He helped me blow out my candles before it caused a forest fire. Be great, Brian. Last everybody. Oh, oh, Jim. Happy birthday. It's great to be here on the hangover edition after your birthday. I don't have a hangover. Well, no, the world does from the celebration. Well, yes, there were people partying in the streets, but that was before the false rumor of my demise was clarified. But I don't have a hangover because this program is brought to you by willies by golly. We'll talk more about that later on. No hangover, no guilty feelings, no regret. I'll tell you what I did for my 65th birthday. Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. I did not venture outside my house because
that's a word. Still in the middle of this ridiculous heat wave where the heat index is 100 degrees or more every day. And I did not feel the need to subject myself to that. I got up early and I gathered my loved ones around me, which would basically be Stacey and Buddy and Alfie. And I played with my puppies. You may have seen the picture, Brian, that I tweeted the Stacey took of buddy sleeping in my arms like a baby while Alfie guarded us on the couch. And we and she put on the one thing, the streaming business is good for is they have an all Alfred Hitchcock's presents Hitchcock's Alfred Hitchcock's. He was a single Hitchcock. He was, well, see, that's that's after he lost weight. So he was still fat here. There's Hitchcock's. But they've got an all Alfred channel with the old Alfred Hitchcock's. Cucks, but I can't say. Boy, any other guy. Something on your mind there,
don't you, but I watched a bunch of Alfred while I was playing with Buddy and Alfred and Stacey then grub hubduce a fine dinner that I picked out from Gustavo's Mexican grill, which is my favorite place here down a road. And I, we had the Serfen turf fajitas, which is a steak and a crab meat fajita, along with the mummy shrimp. These, oh, by golly, I could just sit there. If you just, if they had an all you can eat mummy shrimp on the menu, I would put them out of business. You've, have you ever had the mummy shrimp from Gustavo? No, I love shrimp. What's mummy shrimp? Mummy shrimp is they take this big old faddle shrimp. And they somehow or another, they insert a little bit of a jalapeno, the green jalapeno pepper, just a little slice of it, give it a little oomph.
And they wrap it in a nice strip of bacon that is then broiled in some fashion to where it's, it's a grilled shrimp with crispy bacon on the outside of it and a little, a little pepper on the inside and they've got a, a, the, the, the chipotle, nobody ever heard that word before 17 years ago. A chipotle sauce, it gives it some oomph, you dip it in the mummy shrimp. Now that right there, your tongue will slap your brains out. And then I played more with the puppies. And I'll have you know the celebration is continuing into, because Saturday night, living it up. Oh yeah, Saturday night. Svingouli in my honor of this big milestone. Guess what Svingouli is showing just in, it just because of me in my honor this week. Guess what movie? The German goo girls and dumb boats. One of your favorites. No, Svingouli, and he's never even seen movies like that.
The only donkeys he's ever seen in movies were from Disney. The ghost and Mr. Chicken. Ah, fitting. Is it? And it, and it, I, you think I'm kidding. He tweeted me and said in your honor this week, we're, here's what we're showing. So it's, it's, it's, the celebration continues around the world. Next week, celebration, heard's birthday. It'll be the man with no brain. You know what? He ought to tie something in like that every week of a fitting fucking subject like that. And if it's in, if for the Japanese market, it'll be Shibata. But anyway, thank you to everyone. Ah, he has a brain. It was returned to him. It was returned to him. Thank you to everybody with the, the retweets of a plentid. You know, I, I, I trended my birthday. You told me about this and I saw it. Somehow my birthday, trended on Twitter or whatever the thing is where it said, wrestling legend, Jim Cornette celebrates birthday with fans and pups.
Because I tweeted the picture of me and buddy at Alfie, you know, I don't know how that works. What I saw said fans and dogs, but it made it sound like you had this big party for fans and dogs. Oh, fans and dogs. Yeah, I was fans. It celebrates birthday with fans and dogs. But thank you. I got some cards and nice presents and everything also. But I just, I want to read this. This was the card that that stays got me. And I just because the poetry is so apropos, I wanted to read it. It's the, the, the card here that she got me. And a fart can be quiet. A fart can be loud. Some leave a powerful poisonous cloud. A fart can be short or a fart can be long. Some parts have been known to sound just like a song. A fart can create a most curious medley. A fart can be harmless or silent, but deadly. A fart might not smell while others are vile.
A fart may pass quickly or linger a while. A fart can occur in a number of places and leave everyone with strange looks on their faces. From wide open prairie to small elevator, a fart will find all of us soon or later. But not all farts are bad. This is simply not true. We mustn't forget dear sweet old farts like you. That's pretty good. Good to see Lanny Poffo still in business. And actually it's on the back of it. It says licensed exclusively by Lanny Poffo to American greetings. So we got that. But anyway, thank you, Stase. I love you too. She has, she captures the essence of me is what she does. You old fart. But I'm an old fart that's full of piss and vinegar and I'm all out of vinegar. That's scary. That means when you fart the piss of vinegar may just come flying out at this age. Well, yeah, at this, you know, I have a lot of secretions at this point.
You know, you'll find out. Anyway, we got things to do today. We got, we got viewer mail. We got a lot of people have written in about various things. And this you sent me this so you shouldn't get upset at me for publicly acknowledging it. But this is from Allen down in Tennessee. And he wrote this bag of week or two ago, but he says hi, Jim and Brian a week or two ago. Someone wrote in from cotton town, Tennessee. And Jim had a hard time recalling where it was. It is actually in Sumner County near Gallatin, Tennessee. Eddie went on to say and this popped me because I have had no idea and when you sent this to me it includes a picture of the sign. So this is legitimate. He says in fact, Tommy Marlin highway runs through the outskirts of cotton town. As Jim knows and I did know this, Tommy Marlin was the brother of Eddie Marlin. He dabbled in wrestling and later went on to a career in the military and
local politics. After his death, the state honored him with a segment of highway 109 that runs from Gallatin to Portland. And there's the picture and Gallatin, Tennessee now, I guess he's starting to be like Hendersonville, Tennessee was back in the 60s, 70s, maybe into the 80s, where it's suburban Nashville. When you lived in Hendersonville in the old days, that was where you lived out in the country. You had maybe larger property of the country music stars lived around old Hickory Lake. That's when Jerry, Jerry had bought George Jones and Tammy Ynetz old house and lived cross the lake from Johnny Cash blah, blah, blah. And then now Hendersonville, the last time I was down here a few years ago, is God damn sprawling massive, the suburban city now
and you got to go out to Gallatin farther out same road. And then you get a little bit of the suburbs. But I got a correct talent on one thing. He didn't dabble in wrestling and then go into the military and it was military, military wrestling and then politics and the wrestling and the politics was going on at the same time. Do you, Brian, do you remember when I read the souvenir ticket of a spot show they did in the late 70s in Hendersonville where Tommy and Eddie Marlin worked with Buddy and Ken Wayne and they had all the local politicians and county judges and sheriffs and deputies and mailers and things and such of that is seconds and everything and advertised them on the ticket, right? Do you remember that? I think so. Yeah. Well, Tommy Marlin, somehow or another and this was concurrent with when he was wrestling in the 70s had gotten into
local politics by that point. He was easily 50 years old. So that's why I say the military is probably previously, right, before I knew him. But he was in local politics and became a county judge at one point and was still, everyone's, it was still refereeing definitely. But as a wrestler, every once in a while, he would come back and do the special referee is wrestling deal. Like when Jerry Calhoun didn't make the Louisville end of the territory, he was in Memphis. So when it was build undy and Jerry Calhoun against me and Adrian Streton Linda in Louisville, it was Thomas Marlin. Because it had just had to be the referee for the deal if we were doing it. And I've got to tell you that in 1982, Eddie was middle 50s. Thomas would have somewhere around the same, hey, they were only a couple of years apart. He was the stiffest, strongest,
every time he touched you at hurt, when he grabbed you, it was like he was trying to contain a fucking murderer. And when he hit you with that goddamn broad arm across the chest, it hurt your back. I would have hate, I wouldn't have fought him for any amount of money in the world. I'd rather work with God damn anybody else on a card and he wasn't being a prick. He just, he was a raw bone rough old son of a bitch, right? That's the way they worked back then I guess. But what they had done is when Eddie Marlin, who had been in and around wrestling, you know, Jesus, it's the late 40s. Obviously Jerry not only saw something in Eddie and gave him a push as a baby face and he became one of the iconic baby faces of the late 60s and early 70s in a territory. And then later, Eddie became Jerry's father in law. But they started Tommy wrestling, refereeing as Bobby Thomas so
that it wouldn't, you know, be the giveaway. He was a Marlin brother. And he did that for he was the referee for the first scaffold match with Jerry Jarrett and Don Green and Louisville, Bobby Thomas. And then they had to do a fucking angle or the heels, you know, Tommy had to reveal he was his brother and it was Tommy and Eddie Marlin against whoever for a couple of years there. And by then, you know, he was fucking close in all 50 and just started refereeing and he refereed every Tuesday night in Louisville for years and years. And he would only go to Memphis when the NWA title was on the line. So he get to referee in a main event. He was a glory in the most glory, happy, fucking referee. He was never about to be any kind of a fucking heel. But uh, but now he has a highway. More glory, happy than David Manning. Yes. Yes. How's that possible? Because Thomas, like I said, being a stiff old cocksucker like that,
weighing 225 pounds or whatever, he could enforce being a fucking baby face and a ring, word, and David Manning could. He would he would fucking fight the heel to keep from not seeing something. Anything in the email, but the Johnny Marlin ditch. Yeah, you can soar with Johnny Eagles or you can scratch with the chickens. But anyway, so that's good to know that they're taking care of the local legends down there. And that's all there was in Summeter County back in the day was country music stars and pro wrestlers. You know, be really, anyway, it'd be really cool if at some point we had like a, and I hate to use the word Memphis because it was bigger than Memphis, but we all just think of it as Memphis wrestling, but a Memphis wrestling and cyclopedia with a picture who everyone is and just a brief bio, but just one of every, because there's so many characters in it. In and out that, you know, I'm always intrigued when you still introduce people
I've never heard of or stories I haven't heard. And there's still so much. Well, I had just, I saw, and I think it was Alan Cheepshot on Twitter tweeted a picture and I had seen newspaper ads with the names, but it never seen the fucking picture. There was a team very briefly, yeah, very briefly in the Tennessee territory working for Nick Goulis in the mid 60s, the masked big heads. And there was a picture. Apparently they took what looked to be like the outer bladders of medicine balls or something and fucking cut eye holes and them and stuck them on their fucking heads. And they were just giant round big heads. It didn't look real. I've never really heard anything about this before. And the image, I almost thought it has to be AI excited. I'd never hear that. No, no, they all this. That was this, that was legitimate because it was so fucking shit. And here's the thing. You probably wouldn't even,
these were two guys that have probably been bugging Nick and Roy somebody book us and, you know, on some of these shows. And they came up with some ridiculous thing. And that's when somebody, Nick or Roy or it was Lynn Rossi, the booker of Nick's End in the 60s because they weren't working Memphis. But whatever says, thought it was a knee slapper and they lasted long enough to have pictures taken and then they fucking had them do jobs and leave. I mean, shit like that happened all the time because they were running. We've talked about it. That whole booking office at a Nashville was either running or responsible for talent for shows that were running. Four or five shows a night in a lot of places in those days across Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Eastern Kentucky, blah, blah, blah. So all kinds of shit got through. Anyhow, real quick, I don't
want to bring us down while we're up. But I do want to respond to Zeps email because he said he lost his best boy, Rocco, a Jack Russell Terrier mix that he had adopted 14 years, 14 years ago. Yes, in 2012, that's been 14 years. And they were longtime listers of the show from Arkansas. He said, it mean the world if Rocco could get a shout out. But he wanted everybody to know how much he loved Rocco and Zep I can only imagine either I sympathize. And so we're sorry for your loss and also sorry that you live in Arkansas in these trying times. But that's neither here nor there. But on an upbeat note, Brian, there's more birthdays going on. Hold on, trying to pick this up here. Ever since the boys chewed the earpieces on my glasses, I can't see properly. This is from Stacy, who is the wife of Darryl. And possibly her other husband, Darryl, I don't know.
But he says or she says or possibly I don't know what what her origin story is. Hitchcock's right. They're all over the place. Hello, Jim and Brian. My husband is a huge fan of yours. In fact, he is part of the club that listens to your podcast every night as he falls asleep. You've been part of his life through many changes. His birthday is coming up on September 26th. I have purchased Jim's newest book and a t-shirt for him and bless you for being such a thoughtful and considerate wife and and homemaker and breadwinner and whatever else you do. I was wondering if you might be able to give him a birthday shout out on your show. I know it's a long shot. See, that's where you got to sign up for prize picks. Stacy, you'd have been in the fucking clover there. But it would be such a cool experience for him. Thanks for being you. So,
Brian, she thanks you for being you. And she thanks me for being me. And I think we'd both be miserable if I was you and you were me. And if we were we and then we were all together. So Stacy, Kuku Kucu, Tadero, actually Kuku Kucu is Mrs. Robinson. The Eggman was Gugu Kucu Jube. Kuku Kucu, well, Kucu Kucu was Charo. So Stacy used to be Charo. Wow. Yes, before she changed her name. Oh, big fan. Hello, Stacy. I want to say thank you all so to Stuart over in Cambridge, sure, the United Kingdom. And I wanted to recognize him on the air and just read this paragraph from his because he sent me a letter accompanying some programs from the United Kingdom from haven't even checked for
dates and et cetera yet. But early mid 70s, you know, some of the some of the names that you would imagine an Adrian Street involved in some of them. He thought that I might like to have him for my collection. And he said that the podcast helps him get through his working day and any shits going on because he said, I lost my father in November. My cat Schrodinger passed away in March. My father-in-law has terminal cancer and my mother-in-law has Parkinson's and dementia. So distractions from real life has been welcome in the podcast. Bring a smile. On a dark day, a PS fuck Vince Russo and fuck Dave Meltzer. I thought I'd end on an up-node, but Stuart, we I appreciate, you know, you sit in there, cool programs in the middle of all of this stuff you got going on. That's dedication above and beyond, but we wish you the best and also your mother-in-father-in-law and fought well in their their various situations also.
But fuck Vince Russo and Dave Meltzer. I don't know how I feel about Dave being aligned with him. But yeah, I feel like it's two separate things. I feel like it would be the first it would be the first time in so long though. I don't know. Dave should be in the same sentences. Russo, I feel like that's two separate things. Oh, I agree there. That is two separate things, but I'm giving Stuart some slack because of all that he's gone through it. All right. I will say this later on in the program, you're going to I have learned something from Uncle Dave Meltzer that I didn't know before. Say, I had some teas. I'm guessing it's not about hygiene. No, that is not that is not one of the things that that is. Hold on now. Now you got me out. Oh, I got to bring up. Hold on. I've got a piece here from on the news desk from one of the reporting sites that we engage with to keep up
on activities. Have you heard about the hearing? One of the drunken incompetent stuages that has been placed in an important position of power and responsibility by our current administration headed up by Donald Shitler himself is the director of the FBI cash Patel and right there from a guy who says Barack Hussein Obama every third sentence to have picked a guy who's obviously of a middle eastern descent of some description to head the FBI is a questionable sit except he was a stewed and a fox news embassy. But did you hear about the hearing they had to determine whether this guy is in any way competent to run this organization and some of the things that
the FBI has been doing. Did you hear about the hearing? I heard that redundant. I heard there was a hearing, but I didn't follow it at all. You heard about the hearing. You heard there was a hearing, but you didn't hear what was heard of the hearing. One of I'm just one of the questions just caught some attention around the country and the world because this is the point that we've got to hear that this is so absurd. The FBI. Well, I'll just I'll just read the opening paragraph here. That'll say it. FBI director cash Patel on Tuesday was forced to answer why his agency is no longer automatically disqualifying applicants who engaged in beach reality. They have dropped their hiring standards, Brian, where they've dropped the automatic disalcording to a memo from June. They've dropped automatic disqualifications for applicants
who have stolen from their employers paid for sex or engaged in beach reality. In July, they claimed Patel did that the FBI was losing too many qualified candidates to the rigors of requirements from yesterday year. You know, again, just like the Russo Meltzer thing, I don't think those things go together. The idea that the FBI is putting beach reality or not limiting it at the same time as the other things. I think they're all different things. I can't believe that that would even that's insane, but I wouldn't, you know, guys paying for sex. I'm sure plenty of FBI agents have paid for sex. So I don't know. Well, that does tend to come into the do as I say, not as I do if they're going to be arresting people for sex trafficking, though. So you can see where the intent may be. However, bestialities a step beyond. Well, I just
just said, you know, we just we couldn't find enough qualified people. So we're going to drop a have a stolen from your employer. Yeah, I wouldn't think they're talking about office supplies. I think they would be talking about embezzlement or some some degree of goddamn criminally actionable fucking theft, right? Which again, the FBI, maybe every little higher standard here, please. But even that I wouldn't even think that would be such a giant pool of people let alone a giant pool of people who had been turned down for the FBI. Where is everyone else that this is also how they got the ice agents not to strenuous with the background checks and fucking let's not worry about too much training because this is the kind of people that that these people are having applied. But never let just a couple of exchanges here. The question was asked
director Patel, do you believe those who have previously stolen from employers solicited sex or engaged in beach reality or qualified candidates that the FBI is losing? Well, what we did was we did not want to punish victims of beach reality victims who were trafficked. Patel replied failing to clarify that the FBI was not in fact making it easier to hire people who had sex with animals. Hold on, you already threw me off. You already lost me a little bit. The victims of beach reality. He's not talking about the animals though. Being the victims of beach reality. Well, let's let's go to Republican Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana who he's as bad as all of them because he's a Republican and he won't come out and tell all the truth about Trump, but he's got the most entertaining way of doing things because of good prosides. He's from Louisiana and you're going to get some flowery language. The quote, what about the
beach reality? Kennedy said genuinely confused. It automatically disqualified any individual who participated on either side of it. Patel replied either side of what? The beach reality? Yes. So you disqualified the animal? Patel said, well, we have great canines, but we're not going to disqualify them. What? And Kennedy said he was trying to make a joke. Kennedy said, I'm trying to understand why you did this and I understand the game. People try to make you look bad. We do the same thing when the other parties in office. Kennedy continued, why would you even get into beach reality? Patel said, we are not into beach reality. And Kennedy said, I know you're not, but you changed the qualifications and mentioned beach
reality. If Joe participated in beach reality, not as the animal, but as the human, don't you think he ought to be disqualified? Kennedy raised still confused. If he voluntarily did it, sure. But if he was trapping the end to it, how do you involuntarily do it? So he's saying there are people and I'm sure considering how sick and perverse people there are out there. Maybe there are people that use traffic sex victims in beach reality, whatever. But how many of them apply for the FBI? Yeah, yeah. It's such a wonder. And if Joe, what, besides that, this would have to be if you're a minor, once you become an adult, your record is not expunged, but clarified, whatever the other point is, if you as an adult male, they could
probably make the as an adult male, if you've engaged in beach reality, you should not be allowed to apply to the FBI. One would think. Have you ever been a communist? No. Have you ever embezzled money? No. Have you ever engaged in beach reality? One time, but I was in my early 20s, but it wasn't by choice. My girlfriend wanted to see it. No, it should, it should be the answer. The answer that Lawler gave the time that they gave him and Jim Ross a hard time to try to get across the fucking border. And they took into Canada to go to a raw and Montreal. And that was right after Lawler had had the misunderstand, the unpleasantness in Louisville. And the guy said, have you ever been arrested in Lawler City? Ever? Just have you ever engaged in beach reality? Ever?
Anyway, so yeah, so that's what's going on at the FBI. There's going to be the first FBI agent to get some press, you know, this person overcame their beach reality past stop Al Qaeda. It's springer. If springer was still around, I'm sure we'd find out quickly, but see it went from there eating the dogs and cats to their fucking the dogs and cats. But involuntarily again, what a weird only in some cases now, you know, there's still it goes both ways. We don't want to disqualify them if they're the victim. It seems like an easy thing to kind of say, yeah, that's stupid and walk it back. And you're right, Senator. I'll work with your office after the fact we'll fix this. The defense of it raises the question, why? Why this specific, are there certain candidates they have in mind? Like, all right. Yeah, so all the dog fuckers, that'll be our next big group.
We have to clear the runway for the new staff we're bringing in. Let's just clarify, tighten up a few loopholes. Hide your cows, the FBI's coming to town. Hide hide the cows outside. Hell, I ain't afraid of no cows. See, that's the punchline to an old joke. It takes about 10 minutes to tell us. I saved you 10 minutes. Oh, Dave Roberts here. There you are surrounded by fans, sharing wings, sharing drinks, high-fiving random strangers. Everybody remembers the game. Nobody remembers the guy coughing behind you until a few days later at 2 a.m. You wake up with the fever and your throats on fire. Now what, urgent care, close, ER, slam, telehealth, maybe, but the pharmacy's closed. You needed a medical emergency kit. These aren't first aid kits. They contain essential prescriptions used for over 30 common conditions, sinus and ear infection, UTIs, stomach bug, travelers diarrhea and more. On hand before you need them. Use your doctor-developed guidebook to select the right prescription or call their telemedicine
doctor standing by. It's like an urgent care and drugstore at home. When you're sick, traveling or stranded, you'll wish you ordered a medical emergency kit. Order online in minutes and it's shipped to your door and say $45 with my promo code blue at urgentcarekit.com slash blue. That's promo code blue at urgentcarekit.com slash blue. Speaking of jokes, I've got to tell you remember when I told you the story of how that I discovered that unscrupulous people were selling my autographed trading cards on the eBay for up to hundreds of dollars or whatever ridiculous amount of money it was. Do you remember this Brian? I do. Yeah. Because just to bring everybody up to date briefly for years, I had honored if people wrote in because I did the same thing when I was a kid. That's how I got Johnny Weiss Mueller's autographed picture. It was I wrote him a fan letter. But people would write and they
would say, would you please sign my index card or my picture here? They might have a picture actually, you know, of me from somewhere or they might have just clipped something out of a magazine or whatever. A lot of kids or, you know, fans, whatever. Do you please sign this? Here's self-dressed stamp envelope yet because Christine Jarrett, if she found out that a baby face was turning down trying to sign autograph for a fan, wish he would have just thought horribly. I mean, that's why I used to not charge people to take pictures when that became a thing with their phone. And I would, I'll sell you a picture that I have printed and it's nice here, but you're just taking a picture of me with your camera. We were never in the back in the day. It wasn't expected that a baby face would want to charge money to have the picture taken. That was of course, then I started thinking Christine Jarrett was also an astute business woman. And if she found out that I still wouldn't charge in for it at these fan fest, whatever everybody else was, she'd
probably give me the pinch. So I started charging for them. But nevertheless, I found that then suddenly I began noticing a lot of people are sending the same, like my trading cards. That became a big thing, like, or a certain one of two or three different pictures that they had printed off the internet. And it got suspicious to me. And that's when I was looking up how prices were on shit. And I saw my trading cards that I know I'd signed to these people in the mail and I said, well, I've been hoodwinked, horn swaggle, bum fuzzle. Shenanigans are going on. And I said, well, these people ruined it for everybody, right? And that's where we left it at last. I'm like, fuck you now. You fucking people. That's the last I had brought everybody up to date on it. Wasn't it, Brian? I think so, yeah. Well, I know some things that I haven't told people yet.
Because people see it had got to the one time there. I don't know whether I mentioned this. What I talked about it, the other way to see what happened. But I was getting these things, these requests with cards and or specific things, same things over and over from different addresses. But I got a just a flood of them there for a short period of time. It's like I was advertising that I was doing this service, right? I was on some kind of list. So I started instituting. Blue God, they have meant to be made based on the mental notes that I'd made from all this. I've instituted a few rules that need to be passed or bars that need to be cleared or however you phrase it. So where I think you're legitimate or one of these goddamn criminal ass shisters trying to make a living off other people on eBay. And I ain't gonna tell what any of those
goddamn parameters that I've set are. But if you pass my shit detection test, then I will sign the item that's been enclosed and I will send it back. But if you don't, I will keep said item. And you might remember here a few months ago, I found some more of my trading cards and put them on sale on the website. Well, Nanny Boo Boo sent me shit trying to fucking screw me around and expect to get it back. Fuck you. And I'll have you know that Brian, some people have continued to send me trading cards. Some of them have got them back. And if long about next February, some of them will be for sale on the website when I've collected enough to make it worth while I put them up. But what brought this up? And no, if I'm just going to say, I'm pretty much been able to tell who's a real fucking person. And some people started sending me a gratuity
enclosed therein for my time and effort, which is appreciated. And I will always honor those type of things, but I've been able to weed out a lot of the shisters. But there here's a couple of letters I just got when I checked the box right for my birthday. And I just wanted to read these two in one of them in part. This is a typewritten letter, but it's been copied in some fashion because it's in red ink in the in the type. And it's big typewritten type. Dear Mr. Jim Cornette. And by the way, this was they had enclosed some cards to sign for you'll hear. Dear Mr. Jim Cornette, my kids and I are huge fans of yours. We love all that you have done for the great sport of basketball. We know you're very busy, but if you get time to you mind signing these cards for my kids and I for our collection, we enclosed a prepaid return
shipping envelope for your convenience. Thanks, your fans, Melissa and family. That's very nice. What have I done for basketball? Well, I think, you know, the Louisville Cardinals is certainly one of their most high profile fans who never attends any games. Yes. And and and and constantly maligned them for years when they had fallen in a hole because bad management and coaching and accept you always put over the ABA. You've always said good things about the Globe Trotters. They were there wasn't the Kentucky Globe Trotters. It was the goddamn Kentucky kernels. I know you've talked about. There was a Harlem's Globe Trotters. Yes. Well, they didn't get their cards back. How many cards? I can't remember now. The cards was in the letter. There was two, three, four, something like that. Well, hold on here a second. Let me go to the next letter. But are they all the same
card? Are they five different cards? No, sometimes they're all the same card. And in other times it's, oh, it, you know, well, hold on. Let me give you a little more information from this next letter. This was in the same batch of mail. Mr. Cornel, and this is handwritten. Let's see, this now instead of just somebody who's just blatantly mimiatrifying as the kids used to say, these letters and sent them out to not even bother to change all of the keywords in the cut and paste or whatever. This guy, he knows exactly what he wants and he's going to spend some time to write and tell me what he wants. I hope this letter finds you well. My name is so and so, and I'm a senior in high school. I'm also at aspiring professional wrestler. I'm five foot ten and 170 pounds. I played basketball and football, but I'm not in any sports now. I work out and do cardio four days a week. I like to think I'm a solid athlete.
It would mean a lot to me if you'd please answer my questions as you are a legend in the business. I enjoy listening to the Jim Cornett experience that you'll hear this, name with hell. Number one, what general professional wrestling advice can you give me? Number two, what matches that you're involved in? Do you recommend I watch and study? Number three, what was the hardest lesson you had to learn in the business? Number four, what would you tell yourself before you got in the business if you could go back in time? See back arrow. I would also love to get your autograph. Please sign the custom cards I made as follows. Please sign on the fronts. Two of the four Jim Cornett WWF cards, two of the four Jim Cornett NWA cards. Please personalize one of each to me. The rest of the cards, the rest of the cards there was one more of each are for you. I hope you like them. And if you'd like more, let me know. He said he made them. It says copyright. Twenty fucking sixteen rookies limited or
something. St. Louis. So by the way, I'm going to be it's my images on it. So I'm going to be checking these people out. But if he made him, he made them 10 years ago and then he moved to fucking Arkansas wherever. So basically he wants me to answer four essay questions and send him four free autographs on bootleg cards exactly as he specifies they need to be signed. See that's for a self-adressed stamped envelope. That I think is is passing the the fan podcaster or fan wrestler or fan whatever the case may be a barrier a little bit too far on my side of the fence. Don't you think? Again, he's demanding a lot, but at least you know he put in the time, the thought and he's telling you what's up as opposed to he's in no sports right now and apparently doesn't have a job because he's got time to write me this long letter demanding that I do things for him for free.
Or you could you could come back and argue the point or possibly you've rolled over at acquiesque that he's a loser. Geez. All right. What other fans we're going to put down today? No, no, I'm just I'm just saying that sits a little. That's a little presumptive. That's a good word for it. I think the nicest thing you should expect or could expect is here's one thing can you please autograph it. The idea that it'll be a self-adressed stamped envelope. That's fantastic, but you know probably you probably only appreciate that if they actually know who you are and what you've done as opposed to talking about your basketball career. Do you know who I am? Do you know what I've done? I know who you are and I saw what you did. That's an underrated William Castle flick. Mama Cornette loved that when it was on late at night on WLKY on the weekends. But see that Brian I'm telling you that is how you don't come at me for the merchandise. You
come at me for the merchandise like you come at the soup Nazi with your money in your hand and a demure look on your face and you go to gymcornette.com and you you basically you you submit your money and you get valuable valuable merchandise in return. There will only accrue and value that's been carefully crafted for your your fine enjoyment for years and years now. Wouldn't you say that's that's a more correct way to look at it. Don't try to buy this bootleg stuff on YouTube. Who knows where it came from might have come from up a fucking donkey's ass instead get it right from the donkey's mouth at gymcornette.com and right now by the time you hear this that is and actually right now you're going to see most of it. But by the time you hear this if you go to gymcornette.com you're going to get all these say the sale information on our holiday sale that starts Saturday
October 3rd we've talked about the portfolios that are available 11 beautiful color 8 by 10 photos on high quality photo paper digitally remastered from the original negatives of great wrestling superstars. They're limited editions they may go fast. You can see what's going on there on the website right now as well as hooker by luthez his autobiography updated and annotated by the author kit bowman or the co author as well as the publisher of crowbar press got teal. We've only got 500 those for the holidays but if you want a a book from a first hand source on the formation of the modern wrestling industry that's the one you want and all kinds of sale prices but I was say two things number one. Bride on the portfolio I saw Hodgkin's got the listings up a day early
so if anybody saw him before Saturday the 19th when when we talk to one of the professional photographers that we talked to about this negative project get some advice on things he said well you know you don't want to put when you sell these photos you don't want to put quality images up on your website that these unscrupulous people and we know that there are some from the discussion we just had they they'll be able to take them down and just just do what they will with them because they can steal them off your website you know you should watermark them on the website and you know do do this and that and the other thing or so I looked at and I told Hodgkin's I wanted people to be able to see it don't make them too big or if they're small then it's hard to steal them do you know what I'm talking about here the the result of the number of pixels is this making any sense to you or you say small you mean the actual dimensions of the photo not just you know make it small and of
course yeah there are guys on a eBay that seemingly rip off every wrestling photo they can and just make copies of them and sell them to suckers and well and you know when we don't want to give them any more fodder right so but I looked at the listing and besides the fact that Hodgkin's had made these things goddamn my nude right the pictures you could I think it's like one of those the old keychains that you would look in that was the picture you would see when you click on it to see it bigger he had watermarked like copyright Jim Cornette 40 times across each picture of for I said oh Jesus Christ Hodgkin's it looks like I'm looking at it through a bowl of oatmeal as it can we back up on that a little bit just make a big cup through the middle of the thing one line or whatever rather than these all these little tiny lines so I think he's updating that so if you saw it before September 19th you might
go back and look at it after we wiped all the snot off of it well I think it's standard industry protocol for a situation like this you put right across the middle photo by real Leno at aol.ca either either photo by Leno or photo by Pat Malone one way or another he's that's right even if it's not yours you still put photo by Leno that's uh yes apparently what Leno did uh but anyway um and also I said on our previous show that uh we had the last the final Bobby notographs and I will explain that again in that basically we have I think there are seven things that Bobby signed and let me preface it by saying normally we make everything inexpensive and affordable but prices on this stuff are considerate for what they are and that they're combina more
but all the money is going to be split up again for Christmas amongst the Midnight Express this year but and especially Teresa Condry and and Bobby's kids and grandkids but we have the what did I call the display photos that were we used at FanFest going through 2019 where the boys in sound like one of each of these pictures and I'd put put them in a stack and we hadn't been to a FanFest since found them quite sometime back but was saving them for a Christmas sale and I've also got three magazines that Bobby had signed or I think it in probably in Charlotte in 2019 which was the last time that I'd the scene him except for his uh tribute event that they did in East Tennessee that December and so there are three magazines like four pictures and an 11 by 17 All-Star Wrestling poster when we were inducted in the All-Star Wrestling Hall of Fame
and we had each signed a number of posters and I kept one for my collection I'm chipping it in for this occasion that once again for money for the Midnight and that's what we've got that Bob Eaton signed and the biggest uh the biggest piece is for for anybody who's wanted a Midnight Express four-pack action figure set one of the collector's editions in the display box with the 28 page full color book and the certificate of authenticity and a picture of all four of a sign by all four of us we never sold one of those packages because as everybody knows Bobby passed before the figures came out and he passed in August when we were making tentative plans to get together everybody in Tennessee that October and signed a bunch of shit so one of those packages will actually officially be offered
for sale and all this stuff can be personalized by me so it's your last chance to get any of these things personalized with all of the signatures applicable except if you find it on eBay and somebody else had your name and the four pack is going to be $500 because somebody in the world wants that and the money's going to a good place so if they don't buy it I don't care otherwise you can look at all the information on the Christmas sale now at Jim Cornette.com that's right Jim Cornette.com all right Brian well now that we have covered a lot of miscellaneous business from around the world we got to sit or end more on the combat sports the the mixed martial arts the wrestling related items I guess this this thing exists in the stratosphere of those things power slapped
it had another event and one of the power slapped participants again was our friend Jake Hager who apparently had no sense to begin with to have it slapped out of him last time because he decided to do this again and he just got knocked out last time that's all just brain damage this time it may be a little more complicated and I we haven't got a medical report yet but I'll let you chime in on what you thought of the visual of it Brian but basically for the people who haven't seen it run do not walk to somewhere they're going to get a lot of attention with old power slap until they're fucking brought down as a criminal enterprise this shit can't last but go see this people because this moron stands there and lets this other moron
hull off and slap him the not in the appropriate place which is like kind of on the jawline and the cheek and everything is where they're trying to get you to go he slapped him right on the cheek and in the eye and the descriptions were I'll tell you what I think happened but the descriptions were that Jake Hager was crying blood and it's not too far off from what was happening I mean he just got knocked out the first time but this time if what's wrong with him I think he may have permanent damage this time but what what did was your assessment Brian yeah and we won't know exactly what damage was already there for a long time but you know you wonder about CTE with someone like this who makes bad decisions whatever this was gruesome you know seeing someone
getting knocked out there still something that's entertaining about it when you know the person will get up and live even if they will get brain damage but this was you know it was kind of like a look away kind of thing it's just oh what happened you you don't even want to think about what could have had it as I explode well no but it see here's the thing is we talked about we made fun about this whole thing and it deserves to because and Dana White's whole deal is let's appeal to fucking morons and UFC is gone maggot and he's got power slapped for the real moron maggot and that's all he's doing and he's giving morons pitances of money to stand there and make fools of themselves there's nothing about it that's a sport because there's no talent involved it's not about being tough it's about being stupid because tough guys are people who
are tough and fearless and can thrash you right it's the fake tough from the hillbillies and the goofs where they think tough is just standing there to let somebody haul off and hit you as hard as they can without doing anything to stop them so there's no sport to it it's an entertainment for morons and he pays a pitance to these morons that think that they can do it and prove that they're tough when he's literally betting six figures on fucking poker hands in Las Vegas and he's given these guys five or ten grand to start maybe to fucking slap shit out of each other last time like we said a hager got knocked out and it put him down this time he didn't bend over he didn't knock him down but it did worse damage because one thing that we didn't talk about
before was these motherfuckers don't have good aim either they're not supposed to slap in the fucking ear because is the thing if you slap at that velocity with that much force and use the butt of your hand and it's against the fucking guy's ear not only of shatter his ear drum giving permanent vertigo but could do a brain bleed that would kill you so that's not where they're supposed to hit where they're supposed to hit but this fucking moron that moron was getting slapped by slapped him up on the upper cheek and in the eye socket area which is also where they're not supposed to slap slapped but you got damn these people had perfect aim this would be the fucking billiards championship wouldn't it they're just hauling off with swinging at this doofus lending
his fucking bucket head to the occasion occasionally maybe they're off you get highly trained pro wrestlers that are trying to throw punches within a millisecond of a goddamn tolerance and failing often you think these motherfuckers are gonna oh shit I don't want to hit his ear now I want to win this fucking ten grand they're gonna give me for being in a side show thing if you want to participate in something whose soul existence is for people to laugh at you and say look at what a dumb fuck you are then that's your prerogative but it's still not able to be controlled to be what it's supposed to be so one these days they're gonna have some motherfuckers just swings and misses and hits the goddamn bridge of the guys nose it goes into his fucking brain and he'll be dead
before his knees to hit the floor but nevertheless in Jake's case he slapped him in the eye I believe among whatever else damage that we will find out he ruptured his tear duct he blew his tear duct up to the point where he was uncused I was uncontrollably watering because it wasn't pure blood coming out of his eye it was eye fluid that was red because it was mixed with the blood of the damage from whatever the fuck else that he did behind to get his fucking eye and I would think that things could have been detached by a blow like that retinue you've heard of detached retinues I don't what the fuck and he's gone my eye him in the eye KZ my and her bloodness so he was fully
conscious in tremendous pain and possibly now gonna be blind as a fucking pirate on a fucking pirate ship well we don't know exactly what it is the only thing we know is that his team right now is saying that they think it's Tony com but what the wait and see I have some audio here Dana white did he not call it the most the worst injury they had ever had in power slap here's a video going around Dana white talking to someone named Nina drama I don't know what she's holding a UFC microphone so maybe she works for them but here's what Dana white had to say about this not good that's probably the worst injury we've had fucking UFC power slap anything that looks like a huge doctor rupture oh my gosh so crazy but I don't give a fuck if we
get a fly a doctor in from we're fucking you know Germany we're gonna get this guy dead go doctors which I've never seen it before all right I wouldn't even let our guys replay I'm a replay of fucking lunate well there it is all right hold I have a couple questions number one I just diagnosed a fucking condition that their doctors have never seen before but they haven't brought in the noted eye doctor some Germany yet well that's because you know I studied it in the institute in stuttgart I didn't know that they were giving me exclusive information over there it was it was done during the war these experiments what's the fun I know no he'd and he wouldn't replayed because he's the lawsuit or bad publicity or they're gonna
want to ban us or whatever the fuck because of shit like that uh no that's what the fuck that just happened what do you think about the idea that that's the worst injury in the history UFC or obviously power slap but that sounds pretty crazy well I mean if if this long term affects his sight in any fashion or see because the thing it ruptured tear duct how do you fix that is he gonna have to put drops in his eyes every 30 minutes for the rest of his fucking life or else why is he's gonna feel like he's got sandpaper in his fucking eyes I mean how what's the remedy for this you can't just put a cast on it like you can't a broken leg so how are you if you're quantifying horrible injuries it nobody's ever been blinded it definitely seemed like he was trying to get ahead of a lawsuit we'll pay for any doctors I don't care what he needs from wherever also we're not gonna replay it the the noted German physicians
that we're gonna bring in and also yeah we're never gonna see this again we're scrubbing this off the fucking history he's flabberg he does it he is just heard some shit that he didn't want to hear and he doesn't know what say about while still trying to be the blustery Dana that he normally is I don't know the answer to this and I don't even know that they would want him I presume they would but how much does Eric this off thing the RAF how much does that pay versus like power slap because you would think Jake Hager with a legitimate wrestling background would have been a perfect fit for that more than you know standing there like and you I hate to say you'll watch him I grimacing like a goof before he's hit you're like why are you doing this man are you this desperate like why are you doing this yeah I could it possibly be that he doesn't need to be doing the cause real American
freestyler whatever they haven't started working yet have they I haven't paid attention because maybe Jake Hager doesn't need to be competing at these at this point in their eyes when you say working you mean has it become a work yet or do you have it become a work yes I haven't heard anything about that well in that case maybe they think he's what is he 40 or did we establish that when we were talking about his options before I don't know that maybe he could wear that purple hat just a little lower he ain't going to be doing the bump no more for a while with any big fat women I'm just telling you I don't care whether it's real American wrestling real American slapping real Mary he ain't going to be it nobody is going to be possibly ever I don't know what the healing process or period if there is one might be for this he might not be able to take blows to the head anymore ever a period end of story goodbye see yeah I mean I
would think no matter what this is power slabs done because there's no way he could ever be slapped again on that side of the face let alone on even on the other side of the face of that no shit Bryant listen have Jason editing cut the tape this is just you and me talking now so nobody hears about this you've just hit on the fucking deal we can jack Dana white for millions on that idea he can launch it by next spring left-handed power slap think about that the lefty division the lefty division that way Jake can come back he's got at least one more fucking show in him because they can slap the other side all right put us back on the air now so anyway we wish Jake all the best in this trying time and certainly realize that none of this has been brought on by his own poor choices in life but folks if you'd like to make a good choice in life and protect your
physical condition well-being I suggest you go no further then heading over to our friends at brunt that's where you need to go because I will go so far as to say this Brian if if if Jake Hager had been wearing a brunt work boot on his head at the time of that slap he would have laughed it off and knocked the other guy out no problem I don't think that's because allowable in the rules of power slap that seems like it would be an issue wearing a boot on your head well just then we're gonna have to call Stephen P. Nune get the brunt exemption put into power slap because folks if you want to protect your various appendages you go to bruntworkwear.com you're going to see how to do it and of course there's nothing more protective and more comfortable and more useful and more life saving even I dare say then the brunt work boots then we have talked about that I still to this day every time that I get out in my yard after a flood type condition if there's muck and
mire or in the middle of the summer when it's dry and there's the heat of the desert or when I'm wanting to climb and and and walk up hills and and walk across stones and retain my footing oh yeah I climb up on curbs and everything but folks I'm telling you I've just it's all weather type bootery because they're waterproof and they're comfortable and and and they protect your feet and they outperform every other work boot no matter what you're doing when you're out there in the yard but they don't just stop there they make all kinds of workwear for us workmen that do work for other men I don't know how to end that but if you're looking to do some heavy duty work on your feet or knees or any other part for other men on your property for yourself or on your property for yourself work on your own self hey as long as the property is big enough where nobody can see
you doing it from heavy duty work pants to weather resistant jackets to those aforementioned high quality work boots that you'll you'll never want to wear anything else brunt designs durable reliable workwear to keep you protected and productive in any conditions snow or sleet or rain or whether you might you might be drunk or you might just you might just be just mentally incompetent all right listen well if you're just an idiot that would ain't watching where you're stepping brunt workwear will protect your feet even if you're not doing anything to help them out that's what that's just that's the kind of compassionate charitable boots that they are and that's why I'm I'm telling you about these because I'm charitable brine you know yourself besides the charity charitable actions that we take here on the program that every year I write checks for hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities around the world people don't hear about it because I want

damage you can do if you get the drop on a son of bitch and kick him with one of these think about but don't do that I guess we could say well if anybody I would suggest if anybody tries to attack you or break into your property just sleep in your brunt workwear boots because that way you can just be right up at Adam and throw in the kicks and if you just catch him with just an accidental potato with one of these boots that'll be enough to put him down and you can get ten dollars off right now just look at it as ten dollars off something to hit a mother fucker over the head with if they're trying to kill you don't look at it like that once again brunt workwear boots great boots they have other things we love the boots gym loves them he said that earlier but I feel like it's a good idea to reiterate that and also gym we have a promo code yeah can you imagine if the Mongolian stomper could have worn these boots my god he'd have been deadly he had been in prison they'd have put him in jail they would have strung him up up up above the jail he would have just all those boots to the midsection holy mackerel with a brunt it would have been

ed strangler lewis and alan useless from which it all can says on july 4 19 22 it's interesting to see how this new advancement in technology is being explained extending the invitation to tour the w a ap facility was likely an opportunity for radio stations and manufacturers alike to benefit from potential new listeners and customers this is wrestling on the radio when radio was new and the article out of the newspaper well first of point being brine i don't know if you just know off the top of your head but commercial radio in 19 22 was still new in some places still some places probably weren't within range of being able to be involved but you kind of had to be like the old high five stereo fan you had to be kind of
dedicated to be listed in the radio regularly at that point didn't you i forget what the stat is and i you know don't know what i've taught my head but it was a similar thing with tv where with radio it was kind of there and there were some sales and then i one year there was a giant jump and all of a sudden it went from like some people had radios that everyone needed a radio in their house and uh yeah i don't know if i had a question or not. Yes i did it was just trailing off into the into the ether into the radio waves but here's the uh here's the artosphere headline wichita's big radio plant to broadcast wrestling bout radio fans within a radius of 1500 miles of wichita tune up your receiving sets tonight the night of july 4 and let's stop there for a second within 1500 miles in the early days of radio and we would have to research this but
was every station did they just have the permission before an FCC to just beam their signal of the old 50,000 watt clear channel fuck it let's do 500,000 watts like they had across the river from del Rio, Texas if a station wichita could be heard for 1500 miles there was no regulation because there were so few stations to encounter interruption right anyway the new wichita radio broadcasting station wap will send forth on ethereal waves detailed reports of the world's championship wrestling match between ed strangler luis champion and alan useless the kansas challenger the match will be held at the forum and will be to a finish at the ring side will be the eagle sporting editor and his assistance with a telephone in front of him he will communicate the wrestling bout hold by
to the wap radio station on north roes of alta avenue wichita and from there the detailed account of the match will be sent broadcast this radio station one of the six most powerful stations in the united states is owned by the united electric company it operated by auto w tailor of the tailor electric company radio programs and service for it will be supplied by the wichita eagle so the event tonight is an eagle united tailor affair uh listen to this terminology operator tailor informs radio folk to tune in their instruments at 360 meters the wap station will start broadcasting at eight o'clock tuning in by means of a record played by an edison machine supplied by innis kazgrove wichita music dealers following the tuning in rest of their playing music to give you something to tune in on because it's the only station i guess you can get
and in following the tuning in record there'll be announcements of news importance and bulletins on the preliminaries to the big wrestling bout the new station which looms up on the hill like tall mass of an ocean going wind jammer is being completed this week the big uh generators in place and the delicate parts of the plant are being tested out now broadcasting of the wrestling match the night of july 4th will be not only the first time the plant is operated but it will be in the nature of a revolution in broadcasting in the west as the plant is the largest in the west on friday night there'll be a grand opening with the public invited come look at the radio plant uh this event will not only be social but entertaining and will include an inspection of the plant by all who desire to attend receiving sets will be set about the field so the crowd may hear what is being broadcast big doons there in wichita brine i'm telling you
and again if they were doing that there what were they doing in new york what were they doing in los angeles what were they doing in other parts of the country you know i don't have a specific example but i'm sure you've seen this too where sometimes you look back at old photos like really old photos and you'll notice like someone with a microphone at a table or you'll notice a video okay not a video camera but a movie camera yeah you'll notice you'll notice something and you just go where is that where was that going and what exists today and the uncovering of the gust of sin sandar zaba world title change again i always say what else is out there there's still plenty out there and we never really hone in on radio broadcast it would be nice to find out what still exists especially any of the early stuff that was almost test broadcast well there was a god what i was a kid these people were older so you could imagine but there was an old time radio
subculture even before comic books where especially the big fans would have real to real tape recorders and they were there were bulletins i would i caught the tail end of it because when i was a kid the local wfpl free public library had a radio station fm station and they would broadcast inner sanctum or the shadow or some of the old radio detective dramas etc old radio from the thirties and forties and of course and i got my first tape recorder i'd tape some of those still got the cassettes but there was a subculture that saved old radio and it didn't just it wasn't just limited to the entertainment programs but sports and news and people at the time some of them had real to real tape recorders some of them who knows where they found this shit but it was like who knows where some of the wrestling people find this shit so there hasn't been to my knowledge extensive
cross-pollinization of the the any existing old radio people that are left with these archives of tapes and the wrestling crowd but it might be interesting like i have some old reels not this old but i got reels maybe from the fifties and sixties maybe seventies too that are wrestling audio it's impossible to find places to get them converted of all the formats that's one of the hardest ones and when you try to buy an old machine i sometimes the best case scenario is has all the parts yeah not even i've tested it just it has stuff but yeah i mean you got to wonder what else is still out there that's why there there was a lot of format in a lot of ways my dad will live the real the real that's the thing is there was a lot of again i don't know for the word is cross-pollinization but there was crossover between some of the high-fi fans and some of the
electronics experts that fixed you know the primitive audio and video machines and people who collected the blah blah blah and because they could fix their shit so anyway you're always learning something you're always finding something brine i learned something this past week see you can teach an old dog new tricks and i learned something from uncle Dave Meltzer would you like to know what that something was you're not dying your hair are you no no it's too late the cat is out of the bag and the follicles are out of the scalp but uh uncle Dave because you know lately that the the Mexico City is a center of the wrestling world and they're drawn the big crowds at every promotion had run there in one week and they just had all these shows i think he said they had 76,000 fans over six shows in four days a 10 pro wrestling in mexico city
but the the highlight of this was two different promotions drew more than 10,000 fans in a same city two shows at same time that has happened very rarely in history that anybody has records of and a one good thing about uncle Dave spinning all his time you know with these records because most of his old friends won't talk to him he's he's got he's got the things at his fingertips and i found out something about a show that i was on that i did not know until now and it's been 40 years ago because there were two times during the 1980s war between the WWF and Jim Crocker promotions where we were both in a same town both companies on the same night and drew more than 10,000 people and i knew about one of them but i didn't know about the other one and
we tried our best to help them out in Cincinnati that one night in march of 86 we had 12,000 but hope could only get 70 something hundred at riverfront so we felt bad for them being the B team and riverfront stadium and riverfront policy him oh okay but no they didn't run river we ran at once yes but we didn't have 12,000 people in it we were in a stadium but we did when we sold out Cincinnati Gardens anyway it was two nights in Philadelphia as my backpack back to back Philadelphia shows December 86th and January 87 and i knew about the December one that was the WWF December 13 1986 and Philly at the spectrum it was hogan and orn dorf in the cage match for the WWF title and they did 14,132 and Crocker was at civic center it was flare against Nikita for the
NWA title and the roadwires and dusty against the midnight and boba and we did 10,215 people so that was it and because we thought we were going to sell out but we got down and found out oh they're down the road oh shit but that's 24,000 something tickets sold in the same town and brine you probably know the geography better than me how far was the spectrum from the civic center oh not too far at all i mean again it's the same city and not too far at all but i mean it's the spectrum was near the stadium area when you go across the bridge right when you go across the bridge the wall and so that was we would drive 10 minutes and through the town and city traffic and be at the civic center so it had to be like five miles as a grow flat there may be no better example as to there being two different audiences for the two different companies than those two philadelphia
shows the fact that drew that those kind of crowds for both companies well but he got bigger and i should say that since i have the gate information for the crocket show we could extrapolate the wwf but crocket 10,215 people the gate was $110,000 so that was about an $11 ticket average whatever so you were looking at probably 15 12 and 10 or 15 12 and 8 whatever the fuck it was so even if we got a $10 average wwf did 14,000 people so they did 140 150 grand so that's over $250,000 in tickets purchased in the same town the same night for two events and if you go to the inflation calculator it's a dollar then was $2.95 today well so let's say $3 that's $750,000 being spent
on 24,000 fucking tickets that's how hot wrestling wasn't Philly but January 10th here's what i didn't know i never knew this into i can't remember knowing this until now or i would have crowed about it on January 10th 1987 wwf at the spectrum was savage and steamboat in a main event for the intercontinental title and did 14,000 in 67 but that's also the night where again flare and Nikita with the nw a title rematch and the main event road wars and midnight in a scaffold match we sold out the civic center and Dave has 13,000 actually it was 12,000 and changed whatever i don't think it was quite 13 but nevertheless that's 27,000 tickets
in the same city and we did 161 grand because that's why i've always mentioned that we had the record the biggest gate the crocodile ever did in philadelphia a slab dab sell out of the civic center and it raised prices 161 grand and so if you assume that the wwf even even with a $10 average which they beat $300,000 between the two shows that's almost a million dollars and we were both running the town every fucking month that's how hot wrestling was in philadelphia in that period of time so wwe's about to run head to head with a w all out in chicago i guess it's still not determined if worlds collide the triple a ww show will be televised or broadcast or distributed live
which is fascinating i guess but there's still you know i guess that's kind of a modern example not that a w's the modern crocket crowd but just the idea in that one town those are clearly two different fan bases yeah wwe well specifically lucha and the a w audience which they've kind of defined who their chicago a w audiences and the thing is the the economics have changed the point where they will i'm sure equal or exceed well obviously they'll exceed a million dollars and in a total gate for the shows but do you think they're going to sell 27,000 tickets no just a fucking flashback to the old days well i guess bran before we go any further understand we've got a medical update the dr
goopta swifty goopta our medical correspondent has sent something in on a one of our injured competitors in the wrestling world i don't know about the the doctor but we have a statement that was put out by the patient as it turns out this is from instagram as he lost his patience from kota abushi who we've had various other statements about his medical condition released by him in the past that often led us to scratch our head and wonder what was actually happening and his foot almost fell off i think at one point i mean at one point you know have you noticed that the old saying birds of a feather flock together can you think of two weirder individuals than canny and kota there to to find each other and become friends well i guess kenny's probably hoping this all doesn't happen to him because kota has been just in a series of breakdowns physical breakdowns over the last
not a decade close to it it's getting to that point but here's the statement he put out on instagram because he had the broken femur femur in the morning and is still broken in the night he broke his femur and again in his prime he was someone that if not on steroids certainly had a physique was a high flyer he had a physique that was a little doey blob of biscuit dough that we watched hurt various things in his few appearances in aew once had a physique well when he came to a w he had no physique and he seemingly couldn't work anymore and everything he did look bad and those were fans that were dying the cheer for him and they couldn't but let's go to his latest statement from instagram regarding this surgery this is the first thought that came to mind maybe it's only because of where i am right now but i feel i need to write it down it's the first time i've felt like
giving up like i'm about to lose to myself i don't know what the future holds but i'm grateful that i was able to wrestle professionally for 22 years setting aside whether i'll make a comeback or not the first question is whether i can even become a normal person again for the past year or so i've been living on medication typically prescribed to cancer patients good lord that means my condition isn't normal and normal is in quotes there as it was before my specialist urge me to have another surgery as soon as possible which led to this procedure i'm going to try to face the reality of my situation head on surprisingly i was able to get out of the wheelchair in just one day i still can't move very well but i've managed to start using crutches i would like this to be my last surgery so i ask for your understanding in this matter
and that is the statement what what what is our understanding got to do with anything yes i understand you'd like it to be your last surgery but we have nothing to do with it none of us that's up to your bones them dry bones that that's ridiculous to do these people not see he what they are doing to themselves and when somebody does something like this they don't all think you know what the fuck am i doing back flipping off a goddamn top rope or a lighting grid on the fucking stooges that are allegedly supposed to catch me or dive it off this or falling through furniture or doing all that shit that he apparently did for 22 years i wouldn't you know i don't wish this on him and it sounds like he's having a quite miserable time but Jesus Christ what do they all expect
is going to happen this was not what the pro wrestling business was supposed to be and if they had created an offshoot did we've said this a few times i don't what did we say they wanted to call it aggressive parkour or you know acrobatic stunt fighting on tour or whatever that's one thing but wrestler should not be in in the condition like this when they're 40 something instead of 80 something yeah only old timers you know with the blue thiz with his knuckles the size of golf balls and shit like that but is what the fuck i just i don't get it yeah you shouldn't need medication for pain that's prescribed the cancer patients i don't know if that's oxy cotton or what that is and it's how long ago did he do that that was a year ago or more he broke it right the second time or the second round of things maybe it may have been a little longer than that
actually well no not that when he broke the fever when the the move remember was which call it josh alie josh alie is in oh that's right he was on the top rope that's right trying to give him the fucking death valley driver off of the top turnbuckle or whatever and remember but i don't want to indict alexander for it because i remember at the time that he was trying to get it bushy up and a bushy look like a sack of fucking potatoes just giving him no help whatsoever and then they all just came tumbling down you know we hear a lot about the modern style you know it's one of Dave Meltzer's big defenses when talking about you know how much he loves the modern style and then if we're not a big supporter of it or a fan of it we're not with the modern style thinking about the style and thinking about what it does to people before mcfoley i can't think of too many wrestlers of anyone who intentionally fucked themselves up
the business reason about that Chris Cole because he was already fucked up in a different way yeah he was high in the ring seeing spiders attack him in the cage but wrestlers wrestling wasn't about messing yourself up in the name of performance after mcfoley and i guess the next round of saboo and that led into ecw where lots of guys were hurting themselves regularly i guess you can well and that's why i have you know called into question some of the polies fucking scruples in the past but go ahead but you know now we're in a style that it's less about the hardcore shit even people still get out just a micky knuckles apparently got burned in some match she's in a hospital now oh yeah they said her own fire yes i saw it's it's not really newsworthy anymore was if i get set off fire but apparently she got set off fire real good and what is she a 45 or whatever year old pudgy woman who why would you be it's not good yeah it's there's no reason for it it's not good
and it's awful that she had that happen to her but that's garbage wrestling the problem now is the modern style the circle back to that the modern style that's championed by a lot of the wrestlers and a lot of the people that parrot what they hear from the wrestlers they're reporting on is this ultra physical style that in a lot of ways because we're dealing with a lot of people that are not big physical guys it hits even harder than you know the physical style of all Japan in the 90s or anything because you know i miss out we know what i'm not miss out on but besides that these guys are all just landing on their head landing on their neck land just jumping nonstop it's a miracle randy savage didn't have his legs fall off the amount of times he jumped from the top broke to the floor with no padding but everyone's just back flipping to the floor and it's well remember eventually because of that nail bow off the top his knees were so bad he was
landing on guys with the elbow and that's we broke Charles Robinson's ribs but back to i don't even agree with physical style i agree with what you said but i want to name it something different because yes the physical style in ultra pan in the 90s just crippled a bunch of guys but the the better wrestling styles in the in the bigger territories in the territory days were very physical they hit hard in safe places they knew how to work they you would be black and blue you would never go to the hospital that type of shit and you can't even say that guys never intentionally fucked themselves up because in a controlled way they did hard ways or even blade jobs for business to draw money not because oh this would be cool i'll let Ron right hit me with the fucking
chisel that'll be fun but again there's a difference between a hard way and landing on your head i mean one example i think that's the cinder block actually did fuck up uh mongolian stomper yet but that's what i'm saying is in the territory days in the traditional business it was all it done by agreement beforehand in a controlled way and still to make things more believable as you were in a fight rather than believable you were in a fucking car wreck and you didn't have to be thrown off the goddamn balcony and you didn't have to the endless furniture the announced desk even if you pull the pins and it fucking collapses that's a goddamn jolt and the thing is we would fargo use tables in the rig in the 60s but he throw it in a rig and lead it up in the quarter and run guys into it what the it's there's that's the point is we've lost complete track of let's have a wild fight
and make people believe it want to see it and buy a ticket to it to let's do a live action stunt show where we're gonna be having surgery or hurt as often as we work which is why even if they did still run 300 days a year none of these guys could do it because they'd be crippled in four months if they were working six nights a week but that's why me the art has been lost it's just a goddamn cluster fuck of stunts and they've trained the people that that's what they're waiting for so i tip my hat to you people you you have fucked it all the hell and look you don't want the injuries at all but there's also a difference between getting injured doing the biggest move in the biggest match right before the finish not that there's many examples of that and you know ruining your
career in a match on collision doing something in a match where it doesn't matter at the end of the day it's another match on another show it's another in the middle of another multi-man match on the show you're another guy doing the same flips everyone else is doing to minimal reaction you've got a spot show match you've got a tv match you've got a house show match you've got a big show match that's the way it used to be and people could judge the risk to reward ratio that they felt they were going to get accordingly and adapt and now everybody begins and it doesn't mean to go out and lay it ahead lock or to lay on your ass that means keep moving in a less dangerous fashion Jesus Christ well that's the medical update from kota bushi obviously one of the pillars of the high end as Dave Meltzer put its style of wrestling well the pillars are crumbling
and the walls come down down okay Dave Roberts here there you are surrounded by fans sharing wings sharing drinks high-fiving random strangers everybody remembers the game nobody remembers the guy coughing behind you until a few days later at 2 a.m. you wake up with the fever and your throats on fire now what urgent care close ER slam telehealth maybe but the pharmacies close you needed a medical emergency kit these aren't first aid kits they contain essential prescriptions used for over 30 common conditions sinus and ear infection UTIs stomach bug travelers diarrhea and more on hand before you need them use your doctor develop guidebook to select the right prescription or call their telemedicine doctor standing by it's like an urgent care and drugstore at home when you're sick traveling or stranded you'll wish you ordered a medical emergency kit order online in minutes and it's shipped to your door and say 45 dollars with my promo code blue at urgent care kit dot com slash blue that's promo code blue at urgent care kit dot com slash blue
speaking of pillars I needed a pillar to go to sleep on what I needed on smack down this week they they shocked us they shocked the system last week in Mexico and then they came back and well they just kind of gave us a nice little sleeping pill uh there was one match on here I would have liked to have seen if there had not been so many commercials in the middle of it and basically they're continuing the Sammy and Kevin and punk uh business which all in all I don't have a complaint with excepted just again there was a long show here with a little bit of stuff in it quite a cardano and that they were in corpus christi by the way the holiday in used to have great room service right there on the on the water side beach side whatever they call it there on the main drag right up from the coliseum which I'm sure has been torn down now
but anyway they started the thing out last week Sammy beat punk for the belt holy shit recapped that and then Aldous was in the ring and reluctantly introduced Sammy and he made his entrance and he's he's a fool he'll now and he got booze and he's got and it's great because he's he kind of can be himself no matter whether he's a baby face or a heel because he was the weasley kind of whiny snippety guy that got endearing in the bloodline and that's why he was a baby face and he does have some nice friends and then at the same time he can get his nose out of joint and get in the snooze be a whiny bitchy complainer and he's right back in the heel category but somebody brought something up on the internet I saw that I didn't think of I don't know who you mentioned this but since they switched the belt to Sammy it prevents them from
having to have punk against reigns in Saudi Arabia in November where it's supposed to be champion versus champion oh I didn't even think of that yeah well see there then so they must be thin in a head out there so you get Sammy versus Roman and Saudi Arabia if they go to Saudi Arabia which I'm gonna say well we'll we'll we'll talk about that in a second but that way that yeah they don't have to waste the money match on the show that they're getting of exorbitant amount of money for any way they can give them the champions would be Roman and Sammy you think they can have any way they think of Sammy go over Roman and Saudi Arabia I know I don't think they'll go that far I don't know and I don't know whether that would work for Roman brother the money well lots of money in that case if if early in the show you see Roman reigns just walk out into the building walk around the ring and go back to the locker room you'll know that he's he's asked for
a fucking extra of million dollars to go out the Saudis got that ted the biazif philosophy everybody's got a price whatever it is they can meet it well in that case he might walk around a building twice like Jeff Jarrett did anyway so Sammy was blister and all this you know it must kill you that I'm the champion and justice for Sammy was justice for all even those of you booing me and now you've got a champion with a sense of morality and he was venting until all of they played music and it was fat little fucking goblin gargano and I'm fuck me and he comes out with candy even Michael Cole called her by the wrong name did you hear that no I did not he called her Candice Michelle I missed that really with his wife Candice Michelle I've I've seen a picture of Candice Michelle I think she could whip both of them anyway Johnny wanted his title shot and Sammy was like well I'd
never said that you said that and and and I do it you know and then they started arguing and then Johnny wanted the shot tonight but all this said look Sammy doesn't make the title matches I do and all this revealed that as far as he's concerned punk is next in line but he's not here tonight and in all of a sudden no one's music played I'm like oh Jesus Christ at least we don't get gargano and but now we here we've got I said here we go because we got they love it Owens and Sammy they they will be senior citizen 70 years old having a match near backyard for their grandkids and Owen said he deserved the shot and then candy jumped in and said now Johnny's next so Owens turned around and stunner Johnny and he bumped out and stayed there and then all of us and Owens argued about the title shot until Owens was kind of almost
getting him to reconsider it and Sammy got hot and snatched Nick up by the jacket and Nick said get your hands off me I make the matches and I've decided it's you and Owens tonight you had got a big pot plus all this could take Sammy well all this could take everybody he they better be glad he controls his temper and it of course Sammy argued with all this all the way to the back as Sammy standing there over climped the music plays here comes Orton he passes Ben looks at him like a little kid shines a belt up and walks up with a smirk on his face and that ended that segment before we go any further brine your thoughts on this verbal confrontation I thought Sammy was really good here I'm not a fan of gargano and can this all of a sudden being in this it just seems weird that these two people that have not necessarily been booked well or that the fans really had a clamoring to see much of or that have any fucking charisma
or talent whatsoever it just seems a little weird that they're in this spot right now out of everyone there on the roster and people they could elevate I don't know if I'd be elevating Johnny wrestling right now he was like half a foot smaller than Sammy who I don't think of as being a really big guy I mean some he just it stood out with that said I thought Owens stunnering him and getting him out of there right away was a pretty pretty good way of doing it I was afraid that they were gonna set up a multi-man match thank god yeah I'm so sick of you know the show begins as a promo music hits someone else comes out more music hits someone else comes out there's got to be a better way to do that that's not so tiresome I hate to use the Kevin Dunn word it applies here but yeah I mean it's every episode of every one of their shows at this point a W at least begins with 20 people in the ring having a random match the way as 20 people come out the theme music one after another after another but I thought this was good and it set up a pretty big main event I
mean what should be a pretty big main event we need to see a lot of it but it should have been a pretty big main event well and basically I'll skip over a couple things and we'll go to that because Orden was on his way to the ring because another one of these endless three ways to fill TV time money to bank qualifier and it was Orden and trick and Phoenix and technically it's three baby faces so but Orden was there to make people think that it was a big match and credibility basically and Phoenix was there to do a job for trick and that's what they do they'll put a star in his fucking thing so it looks important and then the star will evaporate and somebody will beat the other guy and because the people know that well fuck the money to bank Orden could get a title match anytime he wants so that that was that shaky Nakamura has a new friend
from Japan wearing a fucking Ronald McDonald outfit and they wrestled the panda bears the sit down with Cody and Michael Cole then my I knew they had you and your attention Brian when they started out Michael Cole said well you you were able to pull the trigger your favorite phraseology stupidest thing but and and they did make the nice point that when Cody won the title they had the picture of everybody came in a ring and celebrated with him and they've all stabbed him in the back but this was just done to be so dramatic and somber and serious that I went fucking sleep I don't know what the rest of the shit was they said and I don't care did I miss any the dusty roads could come out command the attention of the entire room whether it was a fucking arena or a roomful of wrestlers because he was doing a pre tape and in three minutes get you hyped up to want to see
something he didn't need to fucking sit down and goddamn contemplate how much contemplating were they doing I don't think Cody comes across well in these kind of settings I think Cody needs to be fired up in the ring if it's not that his promo skills or his mic skills I don't think he's relatable well I'm not related to him but some people are related to him are you saying his relatives should disown him yes that's what I was okay all right well I'll keep that in mind anyway and then we had to sit through the other money in the bank qualifier Alexa and Jane Wayne Gacy and Jade Jane Wayne and you ever notice she looks like Margaret Hamilton no but now never not see I can't not see every time she comes out there trying to look all sexy I'm like she was like the wicked witch I double dog dare somebody to put her entrance over the top of the
did it how get you my pretty and you're a little table too so then we got what and I've been watching these matches for 15 years so I know they they certainly know each other well and can tear the house down Sammy Zane and Kevin Owens and basically they jump started it Kevin lit into him and beat him up and Sammy bailed and they went to the break in 30 seconds and I okay well they come back after about three minutes and Sammy stopped Kevin and we're getting some heat and they don't take as many stupid bumps as they used to back in 2010 they work smarter so they got that going for him but they got a couple of two counts and then went to break in another four minutes so we've seen four and a half minutes this match and we come back from that break with like six minutes left on the air and suddenly Owens gets a two count and here comes Gargano and
draws the referee and I swear to God candy comes off the turnbuckles and tornado DDT's Owens I like Jesus Christ and then Sammy hits the kick and gets two count and then Owens hits a pop-up power bomb and a stunner and covers him an old Johnny same face put Sammy's foot on the ropes break the count so Kevin went out beat up Johnny and picks Sammy up and dropped him through the announced desk but then Johnny got the belt and came into the ring while I think candy had to referee I believe it was but then Owens stunnered him and he dropped the belt but suddenly at ringside CM Punk appeared and CM Punk got the belt and rolled in and why I didn't roll in got up on the apron and whacked Owens over the head but Sammy ran and kicked Punk off the apron so there's
Owens there unconscious Sammy turns around and covers him and the referee and I'm gonna try to help me if I don't describe this properly Brian because this was the biggest cluster fuck here for the next 30 seconds I've ever seen the referee counted one and two and you could hear his hand slap the mat on the microphone on the audio and the people are one two and then he slapped the mat three but he didn't slap it hard enough that it even made any noise but he immediately raised his hand and called for the bell made the bell motion at which point Sammy there was no pop from the people because they heard the bam bam and then just nothing but then the call for the bell and they start to pop but then Sammy looks up
confused at the referee and if you notice if you go back anybody wants to if you board in fucking solitary confinement or whatever at the same time Sammy looks up confused at the referee he is slipped his left hand underneath Stan's left shoulder and his kennel slowly imperceptibly lifted it off the mat like maybe nobody will notice Michael Cole immediately said I think Stan got a shoulder up then Sammy gets up and starts arguing with the referee and he's arguing with the referee that just counted to three and called for the bell with him being the winner so I'm not sure what his bone of contention was except then what he was really doing was telling the referee what to tell fucking Stan to do where then this referee this fucking slop faced referee just blank he just
standing there like boo I don't know what the fuck he's done in this whole thing he goes over after if Sammy is argued with him about winning and till Stan to get up and get in the corner and Stan gets up and gets the corner and Sammy runs over and hits the halluva kick and covers him one two three and then punk comes in and beats up Sammy and hits the GTS and then gives one to Owens but the people knew that the finish was fucked and they were all kind of like uh what I don't know what exactly went wrong but it was a lot yeah I don't know what to say about that it was really noticeable the clip went around right away it's embarrassing when that should happen was Owens just completely unaware of what was going on well here's the thing
since Sammy was gonna win anyway and I don't know what the problem was is what I'm saying to you because it doesn't look like Owens didn't try to kick out and based on the finish that they were doing he shouldn't have tried to kick out and the referee did make a visual three count but and call for the bell but on the third one for whatever reason you couldn't hear it so did they did Sammy did they the wrestlers not realize he had counted three and thought he'd fucked up and because he's just a blank fucking slate black hole of charisma he stood there dumb founded instead of telling him I counted three you're the fucking winner I don't know but this was one of the most awkward things I've ever seen
and again there was there was no fuck up of a finish in terms of the wrong guy winning and it didn't make any sense for Owens to kick out at that point so why he didn't count to three with vehemence and I don't know and then afterwards if why did he just say I counted to three and you won and hold his hand up I don't know what the fuck was happening but at first even before everybody got confused when I heard the one two and then didn't hear the three but saw it I thought my audio would go now on my television but then I realized that I realized I don't know what the fuck they were doing but they didn't either apparently that was that yeah I mean I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more without
all those commercials in the main event it kind of took me out of the match you're just waiting what we actually saw of match I think six to half for seven minutes around the commercials yeah you were just waiting for whatever the angle was gonna be at the end and yeah again triple H must love him some Johnny Garcana like hand is the right it's amazing isn't it's inexplicable I mean they got that big push in NXT with Austin Theory and Indy Hartwell is their stuages where they were doing like segments in their apartment got brought up to the main roster got to be on TV in a coma for a year or whatever it was I think he's been on TV in a coma for 10 years or however long he's been on TV they let champ believe but they're like we got to hold on the Gargano I don't get it I don't get it you know what the problem was everybody was on edge Brian in the match everybody was nervous everybody was he be jeebies everybody was jumpy

well they may need to take couple extra bottles of willies over to Saudi Arabia in November because I don't know for sure if they will be allowed to come back there may be a new regime by then or they may all be blown up by the budding hydrogen bomb war taking place over there whatever they have made Saudi Arabia has now got a travel restriction from the United States our government as incompetent as it currently is is still saying oh you don't want to go over there and it's a six weeks from their 50 million dollar you know party in under the stars what are they gonna fucking do and again right after that WrestleMania next year is supposed to be in Saudi Arabia oh shit that's the real big one you know if I were them I'd get started I'd buy some land in Montana and build a stadium just as a backup with WrestleMania dependent on these
people and their you know various politics over there and what's going on do you think that just real quick as an aside do you think that concept could ever work if WWE bought land in the middle of nowhere but enough land that they could build themselves a customized stadium that could see however many they want and they say going forward WrestleMania or Somersam whatever will be here do you think they can get people to fly to the middle of nowhere to go to their arena a few times a year no that's a short version and here's the thing if they're also in the middle of nowhere where all those people go to fucking stay where they go to get a car well you can get a heeled your own hotels and make money all that just don't make WWE we land we land is for you and me ladies and gentlemen we land formally the whiff Vince always wanted to be Walt Disney they think instead of Epcot they could make we land
because he Disney wanted that to be an actual city where people lived and worked and played and blah blah blah it was going to be the experimental prototype city of tomorrow Epcot exact to my look you ever see the original designs because what Epcot became is not what Walt Disney's original vision was when he was trying to get that land in Florida there's a video out there of him presenting what his plans for Disney world were to whatever board in Florida that he needed the votes from and Epcot literally was going to be a city with a unique city plan and yeah the hub thing the whole nine yards right and free flowing transportation and it's set to run yeah that's right but anyway instead Florida being Florida they just decided we don't want the monorail we'll just have the mono but at point being no they wouldn't be able to do that because you can't motivate that many people to go somewhere where it's not equipped for that
kind of tourism if they if they got a stadium or if they built a stadium in a major metropolitan area like a New York or a Los Angeles or whatever I'd say they might have a shot it but there's no way to make building something like that cost feasible to only use it a couple times a year for big shows and if I were them I'd try to buy and just since they've got more money to federal government I'd try to buy an existing arena in the four or five largest markets and save myself that rent and rent the son of a bitch out and and have it managed like normal but you own it you don't need to pay rent that might be something now that they can just piss away hundreds of millions dollars they ought to look at if one of their regular arenas was up for sale should they consider buying it well that's what depending on the market and the arena and the price yes I think
again if it's someplace that like a major market that they wanted to run twice a year for a TV taping or some kind of big show for the next foreseeable future they don't have to just open the building twice a year what I'm saying they could buy the fucking thing they could then operate the arena as it's been operating and rent it to all the other tenants and make money I assume the arena would be making money already why would that come to an end and they wouldn't have to pay rent on the goddamn thing when they came there you surprise Vince McMahon hasn't bought a bunch of arenas with his spare time now that he can't get back in the day-to-day functionality of wrestling now I think somebody ought to tell him the fucking idea that Terry Funk and Jerry Jared had where they'd just go and thanksgiving day would every promoter in the country wanted to run their biggest show of the year they'd find out that Jerry Jared and Terry Funk had put holes on renting all of the their arenas and they'd have to rent the arenas from Terry
and Jerry and then they realized well wait a minute what what if they just these sorry sandwiches just decide not to run then we'd have to pay all those rents well back to Saudi Arabia we're back to Saudi Arabia's problems with rent yeah well back to Saudi Arabia is what we might not be able to do because the travel restriction is either a three or a four depending on what part of Saudi Arabia the country out of one but a three is is you know exercise extreme car we advise you don't do this but do it if you're goddamn gunna and four is like don't fucking do this is that the way I'm basically understanding it is it a five star scale does it go up to five or is it go up to no well and once Dave gets finished you know the six will be oh god damn apologize immediately for thinking about going here five would have been a big terroristic thing years ago but with all the high-end stuff nowadays
yeah it's just it's really expanded but no that's from the state department because I I read the deal because of the risk of terrorism crime drone attacks from Iran it's a crime I didn't see it I mean the other things I think are reasonable right now crime well as far as if you're a fucking American or a foreign person and somebody to satisfy to kidnap you or fuck you around because you're on the other side that's crime it's not like they're saying you know what you're gonna be pick pocketed if you're a fucking citizen forgive me for whatever reason I was thinking just exclusively WWE not realizing this was a statement actually for all citizens to be careful over there yes no this is the state department telling citizens of the United States of America that they might might better not go there and but yet the highest profile citizens of the United States that are gonna visit Saudi Arabia
this year in terms of fucking their faces are plastered all over television globally and their advertisers for this big stadium will then be attention getters for drones or kidnappings or terrorist activities or whatever the case Jesus Christ yeah you know that that's the thing it's not even just obviously I don't think you should go over there right now for tourism it doesn't seem like a bright idea but if you are a movie star you know making an appearance unannounced maybe is one thing but this is a big thing something that's gonna be built up something that they're gonna either build an arena for again in the parking lot or have something and it's gonna be a known location right now I mean there have been problems in the Middle East forever but there have been problems the last several years with you know the risk of life just flying over certain areas but right now Saudi Arabia
themselves are engaged in it it's probably never been more dangerous I should say never in the last several years it hasn't been more dangerous to be in Saudi Arabia than it is right now well remember I to 40 years ago just when we were in Dallas I told you that among the reasons not only the Texas stadium payoff and the fucking fact we never got a match with the Von Erichs but they had announced oh we're all going to Israel we have good fucking luck have a wonderful time don't pull up no chairs because we can't stay because we don't want to go to fucking Israel I could see the hit because we were the number one television program in Israel and that's a shoot folks in 1985 for whatever reason world class championship wrestling it was on the documentary that people know I'm not making this up and I'm thinking what the fucking headlines noted American tag team kidnapped
by terrorists and locked in a closet and pissed on fuck you we're going to Charlotte and and we started in Charlotte in July and they went to Israel I think in September and that's when my client I heard her yes and they also had armed people of some military description with machine guns in the hallway outside the guys doors at the hotel just for security and you weren't even aware of the issue at that point I don't think you would have been the issues they had had the WWF and that same year 1985 where they went over for a big Middle East tour and Jimmy Snooka became a major problem where you're trying to kill people on the airplane I'm just a major yeah no we had no idea that that had happened then that's you know later on when snooker stories began emerging but I would just I would just say with me and Dennis Connery and Bobby neither one signed up to go to Israel where we said we'd wrestle in Dallas and I'm sure there's wonderful
people in Israel it's wonderful country but we were young southern boys who didn't feel like going into goddamn places that were in war is going on with people and that would have been pretty much all you would see on TV here is you know another bus blown up today and yes that's that's my impression of you know of the place at the time so anyway I've been I know they take all these guys to the beach and show them just fronicking and having fun and the sand and the sun but does everybody do you think does all the talent really want to go to do this they just don't want to lose their job because these people are paying the the corporate overlords hundreds of millions of dollars well at a minimum it seems like a perfect time for any talent who is willing to go over there to say that they're not just to get more money out of it because they'll cut your salary the first chance they get so why do you use this as a chance to hold them up for more money
that would be my first thing but here's the thing there's two sides of the tipping point on that scale what if the if it's a guy that doesn't want to go there but he's also like if I go say I don't want to go they'll say good you don't have to go anywhere you can go home see that's the that's the problem is a lot of these I would assume that the lower paid individuals are also the guys that have less pool and they're also the people that have less incentive to go over there risk getting blown out of the sky or fucking the victim of a drone attack but what are they going to do it's well then do you think it would be negative how bad do you think the negative publicity against WWE and TKO would be and our Emmanuel's memoirs about to come out so he's doing a lot of media if they suspended or find or fired and we get out right away any wrestlers who had a problem with Saudi Arabia or going over there right now well they might not suspend or firearm they might just say well all right fuck you you're going to go in a coma on TV except you're you know you're
going to get your minimum and we're going to beat you like a drum if we use you at all somebody else can can you the understudy can play your part and I got a quote here I'm just trying to see where is this exactly from I guess it's from Zoe Stark the former Zoe Stark she's Zoe Serrano on Twitter and she's answering fan questions it appears she was asked about how much she was paid listen to this quote I've wrestled for a long time guys 14 years this year started off in the Indies and I got signed to WWE back on the Indies while I'm signed to TNA the least I have ever gotten paid zero was paid absolutely nothing in fact I got a handshake and a hot dog a lot of the times that didn't even give me the hot dog just a handshake the most I have ever made it was in Saudi Arabia shocker I know right Saudi Arabia it was me Shayna Ria Raquel fatal four way in Saudi
Arabia crown jewel 2023 and guys that was hands down the most money I have ever made I don't even know if I'll ever make that much again it was like insane I need a I need a figure she doesn't give a figure but it's an insane amount okay it's an insane amount to her I need I need a theory of relativity here I need the thermometer what is an insane amount of money to Zoe Stark do the women get a bonus for covering up I would think it work in the opposite direction if anything but I may be under vents but now you know I'm talking about all the women have to wear body suits in Saudi Arabia I don't I don't know that that would be a it would be a payoff for the show which is a bigger grossing show than most any other show but I don't know if they're specifically giving a clothing bonus but the point is is it 25 grand is it 50 grand is it a hundred grand
because if you ask me if you paid four girls and a girls four way more than 50 grand a piece that would be insane somebody needs to be committed a big show or not but I need to know what because the definition of insane money for a payoff is different if you're the rock or if you're Tony Falk and now here's the other end of it what happens if WWE says we can't do this or we won't do this but it'll probably be we can't it'll probably you know I mean if anything naked use the government warning as a shield in some sense but then what happens what happens in terms of the shows I think there's something contractually where they can make up dates if they have to lose it but again they got WrestleMania around the corner in the Saudi Arabian royal family are paying
I mean tens of millions if not over that now that they got WrestleMania a year for these shows what happens if WWE just doesn't do it which I can't imagine I can't imagine they're not going to do the show to be honest with you right now because of the money on the table well yeah and and again because they think that well you don't hear about Disari Emmanuel or Nick Khan I get Nick Khan might even go to these shows or do you think he does does he what do you think he seems to be at a lot of these shows well some of it you if he's going then I guess he's crazy too but you know they're sending people into a controversy of atmospheres all I'm I wouldn't want to do when I got in the business you know what the best part about it was I knew for a fact that if I lived in Nashville I was going to work Nashville 52 times a year Louisville 52 times a year Memphis 52 times a year Lexington 12 times a year Jackson Tennessee 12 times a year and about 125 spot shows
and none of them would be farther than 300 miles from my home what you didn't want to be booked in Bay Root you know I didn't want to be booked in Bay Root or even fucking Crotch Rot I just wanted to be right in the in the territory that if no if this had happened if this had been happening or was a practice when I started watching wrestling well if it was this kind of wrestling I wouldn't watch it very long but if it was the same kind of wrestling but he had to fucking travel from coast coast and continent continent every week just to do it I would have stayed a viewer is just ridiculous but I think the young people like it that's why I was never young I'm just telling I don't know what I had some of the kids in OVW tell me one time I'll we'll move on to the next topic after I save this but they oh yeah I got booked on a weeks long tour a week long tour of
Australia I said wow who did that also and so are such such you know it was a good money I got $700 you got $700 to go to fucking Australia for a week and work four or five shows and yeah but they paid for the plane ticket and the hotel and I got to see Australia yeah ah fuck a trip around the world used to cost less back in my day but it wasn't a fucking deal you got into wrestling business that you you tried to hold out for some money for would you go to Australia for a week for $700 to work yes that's what this situation was not would never well I have heard Brian somebody has told me it's apparently made the news that there was more
than $700 involved there's been another one of these these fraudulent identity theft what is the cat fishing operation where some innocent imbasole has been parted from a significant portion of their money by somebody that they thought was a famous person and in this case it was re-arriply is that this is what I'm hearing and do you have details on this I believe you said there was some type of article there's some stuff out there not too much in the details but a general idea I have an article here from ABC27 Pennsylvania news scammer impersonating WWE superstar steals 42.7000 from Pennsylvania man by Jared Weaver Armstrong County Pennsylvania a scammer wait a minute when automatically I'm smelling possibly a rural area when they have to
identify the county instead of the actual town this is Armstrong County Pennsylvania was this guess I'm kind of fucking sheep farmer that lives way out in the hinterlands or what it is over there not a county a scammer impersonating a WWE superstar was able to steal tens of thousands of dollars from a Pennsylvania man state police said Monday the scammer made themselves seem like they were a professional wrestler the steal 42,700 dollars in March from the 64 year old man you were 64 in March from the 64 year old man who lives in North Buffalo Township Armstrong County according to pencil of any way so now that's even worse when you have to when you give the name of the town and still have to identify what county it's in North buff and North Buffalo Township which implies that there is a South Buffalo Township or just a regular Buffalo Township
the wrestler the scammer impersonated was Rhea Ripley state police said no arrests have been announced since Thursday and trooper said that the victim does not want to cooperate Ripley was well then how the fuck did they find out about it Ripley was thinking don't think about how did they faith he doesn't want to cooperate what did he go and tell the police hey somebody just fuck me out of 42 grand but I don't want to do anything about it so no fucking bug me about it but I'm telling you yeah I don't know I don't know how it says here Ripley was recently scripted in the WWE women's champion title and she has reportedly been recovering from a torn meniscus in her right knee she last competed in May the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office website provides tips on how not to fall for scams and list what red flags to look out for by getting a DM from Rhea Ripley like having to pay an unusual method in an unusual method being
told about having to do it in secrecy and to look out for any suspicious links man this is how this is exactly what Layla great told me was going to happen when she was DMing me last night and asking for money well what do you think about how do these how do these helpful hints need to be made now I know there's here's the I know there's some really creative scammers out there that pray on senior citizens where they're like the IRS or it's it's a the local police authority of some you're in some kind of trouble or you know your shits about to get repossessed or do this now there's a sense of urgency about your well-being or maybe they even now are apparently impersonating
people's family members if they can get you know information and so and so needs you to wire money or whatever I can understand kind of if it's an old person not aware of how a lot of this stuff works possibly more trusting or even confused scared under those circumstances because something bad's going to happen to them the FBI the IRS the CIA the goddamn sheriff's office whatever but how in the fuck does anybody convince a grown adult who is able to live on their own without supervision that they are not only a celebrity talking to them specifically despite never having met or been introduced or having any common friends but of celebrity that needs money
unless the celebrity came to the house in person to perform a mutually agreed upon service for that fucking money and it better take quite a while several weeks to perform that much service for that money how the fuck do you can you convince anybody I'm a celebrity you just you've never seen me or talked to me before but I'm typing you now send me $42,000 I don't know now I do have another article here although this at times the reputation is a disreputable side I'll go to this article from ringside news WWE fan comes forward claiming live Morgan impersonators took him for $35,500 let me go down here a little bit is that is that a business net live Morgan impersonators is that like the Elvis impersonators this wasn't just somebody stealing a profile picture and
sending one dumb message the man says he was pulled into a three year mess involving multiple accounts phone numbers payment demands fake promises supposed meet and greets tickets and merchandise that never showed up for three years for me here's a quote I lost over $35,000 35,500 and I haven't received no tickets no merchandise no nothing and he didn't come to us empty handed he provided ringside news with screenshots showing a wire account using the name live and the handle at live Morgan 209 along with messages from people claiming he had been selected for private access to Morgan one message congratulated him on supposedly landing a private meet and greet the same conversation told him what is this this private access is is does he get to go in through the back doors what you're saying
the same conversation told him he needed to pay $1,500 to lock the supposed meeting down here's a quote from that message congratulations you have been chosen for a private meet and greet session without a client yes it is official to finalize your booking $1,500 fee is required let us know how you want to make your payment that wasn't the end of it in another WhatsApp exchange sent directly to ringside news the person on the other end leaned hard into romance calling him baby and my love while repeatedly pushing him to go to a store and get a card one message didn't bother dressing it up here's a quote make sure you went to the store in the morning and get the card I don't know what that's a payment card or what that is yeah we are one of those prepaid card things that yeah here's another quote from the man they've been working on me for about three
years it's definitely multiple people in different countries also some with America not some in America some with America they've been hired by the firm yeah they've been with the the firm for over 10 years now well again it goes on from here but uh it sounds like they seek out the best and brightest on social media who appear to be in good relationships and not having any um companionship issues and go to them or maybe it's the opposite where they find lonely people online who unfortunately grasp on these dreams of theirs that are all bullshit and people take advantage of them it's horrible this is like you know the GWF all over again well but you know at at some point once again unless someone is assigned a caretaker by the state government they ought to be able to fucking cut this off for it goes this for shut that shit down is what I'm
saying before it gets that far but you guys are you got no meat and greed you got no tickets he got no nothing yet no he did get something he got bubcous and bubcous is a lot of nothing and that's what you get from me bubcous all right they just how would you they kid how would you have reacted when you were a teenager there was no internet but if you one day went to the PO Box and you got a letter and I said you know save me I need two thousand dollars signed Joyce Grable hi Jim I know we haven't met but I'd like to meet you send me fifteen hundred dollars to move away no I'd I'd I'd met Joyce Grable by the time I said hold so uh but no no no cuz I just I don't I don't get that because I knew that I was nobody that anybody was would
reasonably want to borrow money from me or that a celebrity is what I'm saying would want to borrow money from me maybe some smuck down the street but not a celebrity who'd be contacting me and definitely not speaking of me at a romantic fashion if we've never fucking met oh come on if you got some DMs from Rhea Ripley tomorrow saying hey Jim I really love you can you send me some money you wouldn't be sending or some money no because that ain't gonna happen because I talk to the real Rhea Ripley on the phone every goddamn week and she only wanted twenty grand and and she you know she drops the Australian accent though when she's not on TV she sounds like she's from Hoboken Hoboken I don't know if that's the real Rhea Ripley Jim oh come on we've just found out that the fake Rhea Ripley's are fucking this other 64 year old guy out of money not me I got the real one fucking me out of money Hoboken it's it's a thing it's it's focus in concentration Brian that's
what a lot of people are not paying attention to where they're that's why these people on their cell phones fall into water fountains at the mall because they're not paid they're not focused right that they're not tuned into their surroundings or the world around them and that's what they ought to be doing it you know a lot of people they try to focus with the caffeine or the nicotine and that's no good for you we've established that every doctor says that the nicotine is no good for you it clogs up your your passages your veins and your arteries and and the caffeine well that'll as we've said before the scientist you've seen the the footage on YouTube and Twitter where caffeine will eventually make your arteries blow up like stopped up garden hoses and just burst and you just you become just an instant glob of protoplasm soaked in blood because you don't want the caffeine in the nicotine but you want to be able to focus you want some energy you want
some memory you want some mood ballots at a steady flow state kind of thing going on and that's why we've got ultra pouches that's why we have been bringing to light Brian the the ultra pouches and what they're doing for people without these harmful chemicals that other types of things have in them ultra pouches has the infinity for the cleaner smoother energy boost than caffeine it has the Lp9 that promotes calm energy and attentiveness that's what helps you when you edit the Lp9 and the alpha gpc which is a new tropic for enhanced middle processing that's why I'm so brilliant because I've I've been living in the new tropics and vitamin b6 and b12 the b12 is there because if the b6 doesn't work well your twice is safe that's not how you end yes and yes keep going yes and that's how that we're seeing you that that's why they give them numbers because they double in potency

Dave Roberts here there you are surrounded by fans sharing wings sharing drinks high-fiving random strangers everybody remembers the game nobody remembers the guy coughing behind you until a few days later at 2 a.m. you wake up with the fever and your throats on fire now what urgent care close ER slam telehealth maybe but the pharmacies close you needed a medical emergency kit these aren't first aid kits they contain essential prescriptions used for over 30 common conditions sinus and ear infection uti stomach bug travelers diarrhea and more on hand before you need them use your doctor develop guidebook to select the right prescription or call their telemedicine doctor standing by it's like an urgent care and drugstore at home when you're sick traveling or stranded you wish you ordered a medical emergency kit order online in minutes and it's shipped to your door and say 45 dollars with my promo code blue at urgent care kit dot com slash blue that's promo code blue at urgent care kit dot com slash blue all righty brine I guess we had a focus in and concentrate on the
world of AEW because Lord knows focusing and concentrating is not necessarily what the tonis do in these days it the show is now literally just all multiple man matches where he just teams people up at various combinations against other people in various combinations because that way they can do more tricks and go forever and go forever and or in some cases try to cover up the and an eight man tag match is like one of those cholesterol medications as my doctor he said it covers up a lot of sins they put Steven Borden Steven did you hear Tony Shavati another week he went it's Steven like he used to go it's staying it it's Claude I don't know what to play it's Percy can't
they do a good hospitalization angle or something with Shavati at this point oh he's awful I'm not sure it would be an angle now if they if he tried to take a bump at his age he'd turn to powder all right I'm all for it they were in Norfolk Virginia so it was a place that would be sympathetic to nostalgic for it offspring of the fruit of the fruit of Sting's low ends as dusty would it fit but is an eight man tag edge and christian cage and Darby Allen and Steven and against ftr and kevin night and Kyle and again it's another eight man tag team match with unaffiliated heel groups with different managers teaming together to face a couple of baby face teams and obviously the the only focus but probably the main focus of this was to
to expose Steven boredom and get him you know over his best they could but got it again he's got so many positives but he doesn't need to be on national tv making mistakes even with dax was in there most of a lot of this eight man tag match was just the other guys taking buffs to the floor and laying there watching so that dax could work with Steven and you know and just do this stuff they're doing in training yeah it was the guy and I'm helping him in this match yes and I'm not saying this in a derogatory fashion that's what you do on the church gym show or the fucking county fair or whatever you don't do it on national tv again it's not fair to Steven and and the only question I still have is what he's been doing
as a profession for living whatever until he's 34 that he could just quit and say fuck it I'm gonna wrestle even if he has got a guy giving him a contract now for a lot of money he's 34 is I don't think he's gonna retire on this particular thing apparently he was hanging on the rafters just waiting for the right moment well but I'm serious because because people wrote in when we talked about it last time and said oh they say he didn't really get the wrestling bug until he participated in sting's retirement well fuck then I'm I've just got to wonder what kind of responsible adult has he been that his father was his father was a famous actor but he never even thought about trying to do a TV commercial until he was at his mid 30s and went to the set with his dad does that then sound like a responsible career choice
well I guess it just sounds better than he decided to become a wrestler when he was unemployed I don't know but we don't know that I don't know what he was that's what I'm saying I need more information it's ridiculous to think he dropped anything for this right now yes and then they can't come out and say well you may be wondering why he waitedly was 35 and four years old because he doesn't look it but he is does he need face paint does he need face paint they needed a more well thought out way to for the first two years of Steve Borden Sting's juniors career of how not and not saying that you couldn't change anything based on circumstances but we're gonna fucking keep this as quiet as we can and we're letting work on under a hood and some shows in a carolina is that nobody knows happened that dacks could easily get hooked up and cash and then we'll you know we'll let him do some
ring of honor house shows or whatever way to get it we're at something that's not gonna be taped or broadcast but it's in front of people and then I just don't know how you you obviously couldn't have debuted him with face paint because then it would have been a complete rip off but there almost twins except Sting was a little shorter little thicker but if he hadn't been wearing makeup and had black hair instead of blonde at this a or when he was young they would look identical so I think you would have really had to have had him almost debut under another name and then do the big angle even if people knew maybe to bride christ for gerry lawler situation where most everybody knew but they wouldn't admit it but the people were waiting for him to admit it so when they did it admitted it worked
except they admitted it on somebody else's show but do a big reveal angle and you know that might have but that would be a two-year progression now he's he's got a great leapfrog and a great dropkick and he can't hit a hip toss and that's when dacks tried the spot and he'd be great leapfrog great dropkick. Fuck him Mr. Guaz arm on the hip toss he's green and he's awkward and it's not his fault he needs more time not national tv he's got luger punches the wet rag swing he needs open his shoulder is still feeling his way out with that but a lot of this was dacks and steven and then the whole bunch would get in and do some spots so they could bring it up again and then powder out and the fans a lot of times we're sitting in sterent and then you know finally the baby faces win when
steven and darby double team dacks one two three but it's you know it's just a odd eight man tag with important people in your company such as kyle the second coming of god damn Jesus in their eyes as well as edging christian or the champions and i know you have to intermix him with the top talent but this would have been a great house show match to get steve to learn some things did you say how long it when it was like 25 minutes wasn't it was it was very long i didn't time any of this because it was i didn't watch any of this on my birthday i watched this this morning so you're not going to get a lot of fun get detailed infrospection but just my thoughts on i'm interested in staying son he's got a lot of attributes and a lot of positives he's got a lot of negatives and a lot of the negatives are not his fault
size it's going to be interesting see how if it took him this long to get the bud whether the but going out there and fucking up at a 40 or 50 percent rate because you're still learning this shit but people are seeing it all over the world curious him of the bug before he gets the hang of it you think this should have said he was sting that he found the time machine that way you get past the name issues and you can kind of hide what he could do and not do put him in a body suits and no one knows paint his face and now see if again if the kid had this size looks like this has this athleticism didn't do this 10 years ago and and would have already had several multi-million dollar years i mean maybe he is he independently wealthy he started a successful business he didn't need to do this and now it's a fluke and as the joke would be on all of us but
i believe if this kid had started this 10 years ago he would have got a big time contract with either of these companies by now it had made have made millions of dollars and be thinking about retiring right now in this environment to learn from scratch i he'll still make money from Tony but i don't know whether they'll ever be a particularly a bidding war or anything i could add one more thing about this match they did it here they did it later on with Jericho and i just mentioned on the drive-through how sick of it i am the playing the music and then dropping the music and purposely giving like another 30 seconds that a fans to keep singing and it's not as loud as it used to be so it stands out when the music drops out and it feels like you're forcing this moment as opposed to a real genuine moment happening but enough already a w w it's not even just an a w thing enough already well yeah it is this the singing and and
oh that's a good point that uncle Dave did make when he was talking about the the folks down in mexico also is the people there the fans are still into the matches rather than a lot of times just into themselves and wanting to make noise for the sake of it the fans in mexico were still reacting to the matches and what's actually going on in the show they came to see it's revolutionary i know but speaking of Jericho our friend uh crit formerly known as christ Jericho against nick boy nick wane must have heard me calling nick plain and now you could see he they would use him to light up a runway if the power was out in the airport did you see the video game character costume he's got he looks like a god damn space age mion from the planet zambodia that just landed ah a roger korman film i know i saw and uh i actually like nick win i think nickwanes are right to me
he wasn't the issue with any of the issues in this match well but the thing is he's another one here i still think that apparently kyle is dressing like he's a video game character because else wise he just came in a spaceship here is this like a earth win and fire stage show that's got to be a video game where else wise they're all aliens from outer space and he's fucking outfits nick has gone out and got him a costume designer and is still the thickness of a drinking straw we have satin two years and they went a while and Jericho's on the the the kick as momma cornette used to say is showing that he can really elevate the young kids with these competitive matches and put people over where necessary in this case he won but nickwane beating him up afterwards including
the fakes chair shot ever because nickwane just drew the chair back over his fucking head while Jericho was on his knees on the mat in front of nickwane and then Jericho looked up and saw the chairs like how the fuck you got to hit me here and unless you hit me over the head and he tried to kind of put his arms up to cushion a blow an in nickwane tapped him on his back from the side with the he went up like Paul bunion if I can came down like Mrs. Paul what do you think of Jericho in there do you watch enough to see Jericho's work his punches in the corner well he's just more he can I I've watched a little bit not enough to fully I can understand what you're saying not enough fully criticized point A and point B but the general his the speed of everything is slowing down the number of steps that he takes on a trip across the
ring whether it be a shootoff or a reversal or the amount of time that or distance that he needs travel from one place to another everything is being very economical because he's otherwise going to blow the fuck up trying to keep up with his guys 30 years younger knee is well the first hurt and Ronald the top rope that he did it okay landed on his head and then he went to the other side and did it again maybe it at 55 or years old or whatever the fuck it is that we determined he is that he doesn't need to be flipping tumbling over and revolutions through the air anymore but that's the but now he's some way or another it did not come to fruition that he could return to the WWE to a couple pay-per-view matches go in a hall of fame and get a hell of a merchandise contract and instead he went to his fallback plan and he's signed comfortably with Tony but now
he's got a fucking wrestle and now he's got to do shit to justify why he's wrestling so therefore he is doing these things that often allegedly sometimes inadvertently elevate the young talent and ask what we're doing right there that's right he did wonders for big bill well it's about to be fair Merlin the magician would have had issues do anything with big Billy Cass big Cassie Bill what about why wouldn't they call him big Billy Cass anyway the night of clock hour night of clock hour the big headline matchup a six-man tag Brody King and Bandito and Hangnail Page against pockets Rodrick Strong and Kylo Rally and again I know that three well I say three baby faces it's a baby face six-man tag
Brian how long had you been watching wrestling before you saw a six-man tag team match between two baby face teams jeez I never thought about this before uh-huh I don't even remember the first one I mean I would have stood out so I it must have been I mean name a famous man in a territory a six-man tag team match between two teams of baby faces there the there you go and it has to be between their six-man champions and again they booked Rodrick Strong and Kylo Rally who are two legitimate athletes who could work and have exciting matches and we they weren't going to fucking sell multi-million dollars paper on pay-per-view in the major companies but they were quality talent they booked them into complete obscurity and stick them with the fucking mascot that makes the whole
thing a joke and henceforth you also regardless what I think about Bandito and especially Page Brody King was as a single there for about three weeks I saw something they took that away but they're used as top guys why are they working with this fucking idiot it's just all comedy and it was a long match and guess who won Brian the baby faces man I am sick of this six-man tag division I hate to say it I mean not that I'm blaming the new level but since they arrived I guess now that there's such a focus on the trio's division it's just been non-stop I do not care about this division orange Cassidy's been in multiple matches oh well now don't worry about the the new new day we're going to get to them in a second and you won't have to worry about they're not going to mean anything in the next two weeks so we'll not have to worry about these six-mans for long uh because I'll skip over Tomaso beaten Joe
nobody in five seconds with a knee lift Tony Shavani introduced swerve and the new new day to come out for a promo now that what now they're the six-man champions Page and Bandito and they were the six-man champions correct yes or are they the six-man Ring of Honor champions uh oh uh there's still ringing I forgot all about that I miss I think there's Ring of Honor say see that's the point folks but nevertheless swerve and new new day don't make it to the ring ricochet and his stooges come out and attack them in the aisle way and beat the shit out of them for a long and boring time and then we want them fired up again they'd get him back down again
and it just it just went on and left all three of them laying there flat of their faces in the middle of the ring Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed and swerve Strickland ricochet again I've said this you could use him because people have heard his name I don't think he's a main event talent but you could put him in that especially a free tv match and it wouldn't be egregious his two stooges eight over angle get over they never speak when they do did speak they could time or two it wasn't thrilling they're plotting and blah smaller ones got a better shot than the big one but they're just no so they've taken their former AEW world champion and one of the high-spat guys to companies swerve Strickland and two guys who were hotter than they'd be in any other situation because they just came from the WWE and I know he's paying him some money
at a fucking garden gnome and his two Samoan henchman just left him laying in the ring so they got that going for him now I put it three weeks and because they've been here three weeks what does say in six weeks they'll be another couple members of the roster in three more weeks I don't see anything special about the new day well we'll see what happens when they get their revenge on ricochet and the gates of agony maybe they'll be the men to close the gates well speaking of closing the gates they had a girls match so I closed the door went to the other room and I came back for the main event which I guarantee you I'm going to discuss here in the next two to three minutes because it was the plumber and pack and Gabe kid who for all the OVW fans out
there from a few years ago to me looks like a fleshy atom revolver they wrestled Andreid friend Cheska Akira and Will Osprey their world heavyweight champion the just won the biggest match of all time is in a six man tag teamed up with a child-sized jobber who happens to be a friend of his and to gather take selfies against another endless combination of the Boer Horseman and they went 15 minutes into the overrun for moxley choked the jobber out of friend Sisko and then kept beating him up and then Andreid fired up and made a little comeback but Conor's and Finley who were in another heel group came in and kicked a shit out of him with them and the dogs
and the dogs I guess are aligned with Gabe kid even though Gabe kids aligned with the death riders they're they're fucking the dogs and cats see even even even if you have fucked the dogs in a wrestling match you can still get a job with the FBI and then all the heels stood there while moxley was telling kid to put a chair on a Kira's neck and pill manize him and an Osprey jumped in and gave his goofy elbow to everybody and they're left and people were kind of in and I don't know what to say about it except that it's the same shit over and over there's a lot of guys wrestling these matches on this show just every match is multi-man now and does other people running around moxley did a promo earlier in the back with Gabe kid and pack it was awful it was like he rehearsed something to try out for a role it was so bad
but uh I don't know I feel like they had a lot of really good momentum going into the wembley thing and even right after it but man this was an unenthusiastic uninspired show this episode I'm a dynamite everybody on this show now they've weeded out most of the professional talent and almost everybody on this show is in-demanded guys they say edge and cage and and the Jericho they're at the point in their career where they'll say again senior minded well no they're at the point in their career where they're getting paid a lot of fucking money and they still get to do what they enjoy and they put up with it and everybody else on this at least on this television show it came from an in-demanded fucking perspective on things and that's exactly what we're looking at is in-de-fucking wrestling on national TV
well there it is another episode a bad episode of a w dynamite well folks if any of you are still left out there listening to this program after we've inundated you with this AEW nonsense Brian we're going to be back in a couple of days with your program the drive-through and we'll be back here in another week on the gym corned experience do you have any closing thoughts or in the words of the highway patrolman to Vince McMahon if you have no more questions you're free to go we'll see on the drive-through with lots more fun the drive-through for more fun fun fun fun till well nobody can take our shit away we're our own daddies now so thank you for viewing bye bye everybody the experience
