Episode 95 - Oppenheimer and Dune: Part Two Trailers, More Writers Strike Fallout

Gaius and Jackson get into the second trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and the first trailer for Dune: Part Two, which are arguably two of the most anticipated films of the year. The duo also takes a look at the Gran Turismo trailer as well as discuss more productions that have gone dark due to the ongoing writers strike, including Daredevil: Born Again, the final season of Stranger Things and MCU’s Blade. A new segment is also introduced where the hosts do a movie related snake draft with this week’s focus on horror movie icons. Lastly, the opening weekend box office of Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 is discussed and the pair dive into if it’s a potential sign of true Marvel fatigue.
