En: The cold was biting.
Sv: Tunnelbanestationens väggar var täckta av frost.
En: The walls of the subway station were covered with frost.
Sv: Det fanns en tid då människor skyndade genom Stockholms underjordiska värld, fångade i sina vardagliga sysslor.
En: There was a time when people hurried through Stockholm's underground world, caught in their everyday errands.

Sv: Nils och Elin gick försiktigt framåt, deras andetag bildade vita moln i luften.
