Tiny Revival Co. is an ethically sourced clothing company backed by a life-saving mission. Lauren Holland is the founder of this remarkable organization, and she hopes to bring awareness to victims of human trafficking and labor trafficking - women and children who are often hurt and abused by the “fast fashion” industry. Outsourced clothing factories overseas enslave women who are forced to work in dangerous working conditions in order to provide for their families. Often, these women face unthinkable sexual and physical violence and abuse. Every purchase from Tiny Revival Co. helps provide safety and security for trafficked women and children. Lauren discusses the power of returning dignity to someone who has been victimized and your purchase helps them restore their identity.

You're listening to the Counterculture Mom Show.
Our kids are under fire every day, with the media and pop culture persuading them to give
up their faith and Christian values.
Stay tuned now as former Hollywood actress and pop culture expert Tina Griffin helps
you counter these messages and safely navigate today's pop culture chaos.
Sex trafficking awareness efforts in March are strongly connected to the surge in demand
for commercial sex that coincides with major sporting events, particularly the NCAA March
Madness basketball tournament.
Advocacy groups use this time to target the increased, often hidden trafficking activities
surrounding these events, with campaigns designed to educate the public, law enforcement
and potential buyers, thank you in advance for keeping your eyes open and talking to people
in your sphere of influence about this horrific monstrosity, human trafficking.
A woman on a mission and dear friend and sponsor of our program that we highly respect will
be sharing about her ministry and how she is able to help rescue sex trafficked victims.
Let's join forces with this God-given mission.
Lauren Holland is a wife, mom of soon-to-be-four, and FIDM trained designer with over 15 years
of experience in the fashion industry.
When she learned the truth about human trafficking early in her career, she felt the deep conviction
that once she knew she was responsible.
A calling that led her overseas to work with women and children who were rescued from trafficking
and helped launch an ethical garment manufacturing company together.
That same conviction inspired her to create tiny revival, a faith-based children's brand
where she brings Bible stories to life through ethically-made, hand-painted clothing
that helps support the fight against trafficking and get the conversation started.
You guys are going to love this woman.
This is the counter-culture mom show.
I'm your host Tina Griffin, theme of this week.
And this is the home run episode is on the urgent topic of sex trafficking.
I'm with Lauren Holland, founder of Tiny Revival Clothing.
Lauren, long time no see. How you doing, sister?
Hey, long time.
So about 48 hours ago, I had you stomping the ground over at the National Religious Broadcasters
event. I remember your face when I first saw you at the exhibit hall for the first time.
You got that flight a week before the event coming from another full week of fashion.
I think in Atlanta and your face was like this when you saw me.
During the headlights.
What do I do? Where do I go?
And it was so fun. Just literally stomping on the show floor and meeting a bunch of booze.
Typically, I'm doing a bunch of interviews, but I couldn't find you half a time because
whoever grabbed in your arm left and right to get you on their programs,
you have a phenomenal story to tell.
You design and oversee every aspect of Tiny Revival from the hand painted artwork,
story driven collections to production, ethical manufacturing partnerships, marketing,
overall brand mission, and your several months pregnant with kid number four.
Yep. Is that all I do?
How are you doing all this?
Um, the Lord.
Oh my gosh.
Episode done. Everybody go to Tiny Revival and use Colatina to check out.
Girl, you blew my mind when we first started talking a couple of months ago,
as right before Christmas.
Everybody out there, if you want to hear the foundation of how she started this ministry,
her whole history of being in the fashion industry and Hollywood, New York,
just everything tied together and how God pulled her away from that and then brought it back to her
tenfold in his way, his timing, helping rescue sex traffic victims.
You got to go to counterculturemom.com, click on the show tab, search for Lauren and you will come
across her phenomenal episode and people responded massive to that episode with cleaning you out
basically on Tiny Revival website. So we got to go there again, revival.com.
But today we're going to talk about the why you do what you do, which is to help rescue
and bring awareness to sex traffic victims. So I'm done talking. It's all about you, my first
critical question. You've worked inside the global garment industry for a lot of years.
What are the hidden ways exploitation can exist in supply chains and why is ethical production so
critical in preventing trafficking? Yeah, so one of the other areas besides sex trafficking and even
coincides with sex trafficking because human trafficking is a whole conglomerate of activity,
is the labor trafficking that's happening in the garment industry specifically.
And that's one of the things that kind of people don't really think about that too much
with when you're purchasing products or when you're seeing things. And there can be a lot of
things going on as far as the global demand for super cheap clothing and for so much of it with
like fast fashion and rapid production demand on the facilities. Yes. We'll create this
excessive over time with holding of wages where they're actually holding their, you know,
whether it's their their identification paperwork or things like that locked doors, no breaks,
no food, no water. They have to be sleeping in the facilities. My word. And then of course,
there's like the whole child trafficking aspect of it as well. So I'm new to this corruption. I
have heard a little bit over the years, but I haven't walked where you walked or saw what you saw
and you saw this firsthand, which obviously God within three seconds tugged your heartstrings and
told you, here's what I want you to help expose through the fashion line. But you're doing it as
like a fist to say and say and take this. And I love that aspect of what you're doing because
people love having conversations over your garments. But when you're walking the the floor and
seeing all this go down, are you saying that even the workers besides the little to no wages
sleeping at the facilities, you were talking in the first episode back in November, December,
about how a lot of these garment factories would burn down to the ground people that were
killed as a result because of the poor conditions of even how they make the clothing pennies on
the dollar. And then of course, these different clothing companies are making bank on selling something
by marking it up really high. They have you seen where these workers are also trafficked like
sexually or abused as well physically because of the conditions that they're in. And if they have
been, tell us more about that. So within these factories, you have mainly men that are in control
over them. And one of the biggest ways that they force and coerce the workers to continue working
is by not only threatening their families, but they'll also do bodily harm to them as well.
So whether that's sexually or just physical abuse, I've kind of seen the whole gamut
of that force and coercion part of trafficking in the garment industry as well.
Unreal. So and you've been all over the globe doing this with Tiny Revival, the beautiful clothing
that God gave you ideas for creative ideas. You would then get them hand painted. It's just
phenomenal. My question with all the collections that you have at tinyrevival.com, a proceeds from
every sale goes back to sex trafficking victims to help get them freed, to get them back on their
feet, to get them employed and have great consistent employment and safe conditions. Have you
been able to get workers in those poor, horrific sex traffic conditions into factories that are
making your clothing where they're in a safe environment? Yeah. So part of the work that I
did when I started the ethical garment manufacturing company was specifically to provide a place
for employment for those that were at risk or being rescued out of trafficking. And one of the
things that I saw when I was working overseas with them is that you begin to return the dignity
back to a person when you give them a safe environment, security. When you start treating them
with respect, it helps restore their identity and gives them something to work towards that gives
them hope. And so it was really great to be able to see these women in these safe working conditions
really let their guard down and start being able to work through their trauma and be able to
start being proud of what they were doing and find that dignity back. That's so phenomenal.
Have you been able to witness the people share your faith? Are they are able to get connected
with local churches all because of what God had you do with this tiny revival clothing company?
Yeah. And part of the different manufacturers that I work with, I'm sure really that they also
have outside programs going on. The one that I worked with specifically when I lived overseas,
they did connect with different Bible studies and things like that. The one that we're currently
working with, they do a gamut of different classes and provide different things to the workers,
whether that's teaching about finances, health, hygiene, child providing childcare, just different
ways that they can come alongside and support in addition to employment.
I love what you do, girl, because this is something that you are passionate about fashion.
You're passionate about having people know who Jesus is. You love children. You love design
and being creative. You love helping others. You like and love and are passionate about
rescuing people that are in need and need the Lord. And God gave you such a unique ministry
with all of those things wrapped up into a perfect package where your job isn't even a job.
It's a mission of vision. And I bet you're like me where you wish you could skip sleep at night.
And then some days maybe. But I just, you are a living testimony to anybody out there listening
or watching right now thinking, I am really good at this or I'm really good at that or I really
want to do that someday. But how is that serving God when I really want to be used by God? God
gave Lauren the mission of vision through fashion. It doesn't have to be the fake glitz and glamour
that Hollywood and New York has sold for the last how many decades. Making you think that in order
for you to do anything fashion, you had to sell your soul to the industry and sell your soul to Satan.
You do not. Lauren's a perfect example of that. We're going to do a short commercial break when we
come back. How we can support Lauren. Grab her cue to tire. Get the conversation started through
our children, babies, teens, toddlers, everybody wearing her goods. And the people will say, oh my gosh,
where did you get this? And you can share with them tiny revival dot com code Tina at check out for
10% off of any order ever from here on out till the rapture happens. And then you can share with
them the phenomenal story behind why Lauren does what she does through the cute little tire on your
children that it goes to rescue sex traffic victims. More with Lauren right after this.
For over six years, I've been selling the alarm regarding the dangers of EMF exposure,
primarily coming from the towers that were implemented during the pandemic. I've interviewed
countless experts on the show that confirmed my research. Besides harmful 5G radiation, we are
constantly bombarded with EMF exposure from Wi-Fi routers, smartphones, laptops, smart appliances,
all contributing to massive sleep issues, headaches, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, brain fog,
heart palpitations, and even increased cancer risk. I've been using two waveguard devices for over
six years. I have the key home which gives me whole home protection and the key shield when I'm
on the go. Waveguard uses depolarization technology to significantly reduce EMF radiation
without blocking your Wi-Fi or cell signal. Protect your family now. Use Coatina et Chaco to save

I came in as a boy and I'm leaving as a young man. They're developing lifelong friends and they're
being pushed beyond what they think their limitations are. It's helped me with importance of leadership
because I mean before trail-i-fi literally did nothing. As a mom, I love the fact that I know that
our son is involved in a Christ center, a boy-focus group, a confident that he's in a safe environment
that he's getting to mentorship, the leadership of men who have the type of foundation that we need
him to get. I've never really been able to talk on public and being in trail-life. Everyone's so
accepting of you and not really helped me become who I am and who God wants me to be. Me and my
dad, we really didn't talk a lot and my mom wanted my dad to go. She was like, sure, I'll go
slowly. I stopped for work and he went and ever since then, me and my dad's relationship has gotten
closer. Experience the trail-life difference. Find a troop near you or start one today by visiting

Lauren, we are back. A lot of people think or say this out loud to other people.
Trafficking. Too big of a fight. How can we even combat it? Where do I get started? How do
we even know people are being trafficked? And so they don't do anything and they stay on the bench
or they live in fear. We can't. God is absolutely making it clear right now and He will hold us
accountable someday on. You knew trafficking was happening. What did you do to help stop it?
So there is something we can do. How can everyday purchasing decisions, even in our clothing,
actually reduce demand for exploitative labor? So I totally get it because when I first learned
about the issue, I felt like, you know, the billions of dollars, what can I possibly do,
or it's often hard to relate, you know, my one purchase at this one place is that really going
to make a difference in the global economy. But market response to behavior with people.
And so it's really just about your own personal convictions. You're in your own personal
responsibility. And that's why when I felt such a personal responsibility about it, I had to do
my own part, whether or not, you know, it was big to me, small to me, like whatever it was.
And so we don't have to be perfect at it. We don't have to solve the entire global issue in a day.
But choosing fewer better items and supporting brands that are committed to ethical production,
valuing quality over quantity, that all reduces the pressure that drives exploitation in this industry.
I don't even know what to say to that. That was a mic drop moment right there.
Girl, just watching you at NRB, it was so easy to see how people were drawn to who you are because
you glow in person. Jesus shines right through you. And what's funny is, the less you say, the more
people want to get to even know you more. So whatever you're doing is working because it was god
magic time on the show floor to watch you literally shine for the Lord on those shows. I'm going
to pray that your ministry, business blows up because families, women by most of the clothing for
our children in our home. And for us to know, we're supporting a cause like fighting sex trafficking
while we're doing the daily mundane duties with raising our children in our home. That's all I
need to know to know that yes, it matters who I support and who I give my cash to because it's
God's money. Absolutely. I want to support. Yeah. You're getting me all fired up again. Come fly
back and go get more. Girl, you often talk about dignity being restored through meaningful work.
Why is providing safe, fair employment such a powerful form of prevention and restoration?
Yeah. So I talked a little bit about that few minutes ago. Yeah.
But yeah, I think it's the fact that in these places of exploitation where they were exploited
doing work or sexually exploited, giving them a safe environment. Obviously, it's not going to
heal the trauma alone, but it gives them that it replaces their vulnerability with stability,
which brings them hope that they're going to be able to provide for their families. They're
going to be able to provide for their children. The more that they also have a safe economic
opportunity, they're far less vulnerable to exploitation again or in the first place.
Absolutely correct. And an evening is it stops that generational curse of now their children will not
also be in that horrific work environment that like slave driving in more than one way. I never
knew it was that bad until I met you with the corruption of the fashion garment industry. You
also read it off a couple of companies that pay these people pennies on the dollar and rip off
customers that we don't know about that. Honestly, some of them, I know so many people that buy
from these different websites. Yeah. I mean, it all comes down to the fact of like being aware when
you're making a purchase that if something, if you're buying a shirt for three dollars,
like just put some thought into that. Like, what did it actually take someone to make that three
dollar shirt? And how much do you think the person that made it is actually getting when you've
you're in America and you're buying it for three dollars? Like think through the process of
the product that you're purchasing. We all know how critical sleep is. Yet I've had major sleep
issues for years. I just discovered wavewatch and I'm finally sleeping through the night. The wavewatch
is a wearable device that delivers hundreds of sound frequencies throughout your body supporting
your body's natural systems. Did you know that each living thing vibrates at a unique frequency?
And modern research shows nerve impulses may actually be sound based. The wavewatch emits gentle
sound waves through your wrist that can help reduce physical discomfort, boost circulation,
improve focus, support immune function, and enhance sleep quality. So if you're ready to move from
fatigue and fog to clarity and calm, go to wavewatch.com, use cotina at checkout and get a hundred

but a hundred and forty-six specialized frequency sets to combat your biggest health issues.
Try it risk-free and feel the difference. Did you know that the average child asks over 200
questions a day? That's exactly why Lauren Holland created Tiny Revival, a faith-based
children's clothing brand that brings Bible stories to life, running your kids, PJs,
play a tire, and blankets. Tiny Revival makes one of a kind faith-inspired fashion that's
buttery soft and ethically produced by fair wage partners. Every design begins with original
watercolor artwork. Then becomes a meaningful piece or child can wear, love, and learn from.
And the best part? Each purchase supports the fight against human trafficking. From the best
selling Noah's Ark romper, to the David and Goliath PJs, these pieces don't just look beautiful,
they spark real conversations about faith. If you want something meaningful, ethical, and creative
from my mother's heart, visit TinyRevival.com and use Cotina at checkout for an exclusive discount.
Again, get a great deal using Cotina at TinyRevival.com. Tiny Revival. Every threat of testimony,
every purchase, a step toward freedom. As a mom of three is soon-for,
business owner, how do you help families teach your children about compassion, justice,
and valuing human life in age-appropriate ways? Obviously with them wearing your goods.
Yeah, so for me and my kids, what I do is, you know, I teach them to value people over
possessions. And so I don't think we need to introduce our children to the idea of human
trafficking. I think we should protect our children from sexual issues. But modeling empathy at
home, whether that's just being kind to people on the street, having generosity to the, you know,
homeless person on the corner, my son does not let me drive past one without pulling over and
giving them a dollar. But people that see children that grow up seeing that modeled in their home
develop a natural sense of justice and compassion. And it becomes something about who they are,
not just something they have to learn later. And I think with tiny revival and what I wanted to
create especially with having the faith-based prince is another piece of my home is how important
bedtime is. Yes. And that's really the time when we get to sit. I get to sit at my child's bed
and I get to talk about how their day was. I get to talk about, you know, what's bothering them,
where their heart is. And having these pajamas as a way to start the conversation of, you know,
you may not feel very hopeful right now, but God has these promises and he's always faithful.
And you can start those from the clothing that they're wearing. It just provides such a beautiful
opportunity to create that environment where children are hearing and speaking truths over themselves.
Absolutely. And this whole time I was showing off probably only 5% of what you have at tinyreviable.com.
So if you're tuning in via radio and podcast or missing out, this is a command and you'll be glad
that I gave you this for the week. Go to counterculturemom.com, click on the show tab top of the page and

And the neat thing I love about what you have, girl, even adults can grab your goods. Like I want to
be in that. You can't tell me that person would not literally sleep better at night wearing these
cute, flowered pajamas. Are you kidding me? They're very comfortable. Yeah. And you've got a lot of
great story behind what you do. Ways that people can give back. Tell us about your Easter line. How
can we get it? Where can we go? And what's new? Yeah, so I'm really excited about the Easter stuff
because not only do we have the sleepwear, but we also have a few day wear options for boys and girls,
which is perfect for them to wear for Easter, but also throughout the whole rest of the year.
