spark you need to shine bright.
Here's your host, Spencer Jones.
Hey, Energizer, welcome to this episode of The Daily Energized, and welcome to a brand
new week.
I hope you are ready for a week filled with joy, filled with just incredible things.
And you know what, go out and have an incredible time this week.
Go have joy, go experience, go savor it because joy is out there for you.
You just have to be willing to experience it, to see it, to feel it, to embrace it because
I promise you it is out there.
Go out, experience joy.
That's it, like I could end this episode right here and now, except I said they're five
to ten minutes long, but so I'll keep talking a little bit more about it here and how you
can do that.
But if you get anything, anything from today's episode, it's go out and experience joy
this week.
That's it.
Hey, thank you.
Thank you for being here, joining me, joining all the energizers and listening to The Daily
Energized.
Totally humbled and grateful, thank you, thank you.
And thank you for shining your light with me and with so many others, seriously, it
is felt and it is appreciated more than you know.
So thank you, thank you, thank you.
Okay, so yes, the point, the goal of this episode is to just reiterate and have you go
out and experience joy.
What does that look like to you specifically?
What does joy look like for you?
Sometimes joy and happiness are different things, although they're similar for me and
maybe have a different definition of it.
For me, joy is something that makes my heart smile.
I can be going through a valley in my life a hard, difficult time, but I could still experience
joy.
It might not necessarily be as big and boisterous as when I'm feeling happy, but I could still
feel it.
Something that makes my heart smile, makes me feel loved and cared about and something
deeper within happiness, I find is more fleeting, you know, like I have a birthday party, the
sip of coffee makes me happy, seeing someone just, I don't know, get a present that really
struck them, right?
It is something amazing.
I don't know.
All it makes me happy.
And that's great.
And happiness, I used to poo poo it, I used to downplay it, but I realized, it took me
sadly way too long, I realized that happiness is just as important as joy.
They both matter, so don't downplay one or the other, try to have both, don't just have
one or the other, but have both.
Fine happiness, the things that are fleeting and small and whatever, but they make you
happy.
Great.
See those things, feel those things, experience them, but then also find joy.
See what makes your heart smile.
So literally right before this recording, I was watching some reels and I just saw this
dad who was just so touched by the actions that his daughter took and he was just, you
could just feel the love radiating off him as I was watching that reel.
And my heart just smiled, I just, I felt the love and joy from him and it just made me
happy, but it also brought me joy of seeing that love being shared and spread with myself
with the world, absolutely incredible, absolutely, like I love it.
And that actually sparked this episode of saying go experience joy and share it out with
other people.
What is, so what is living in joy look like to you?
Is it, you have a smile plastered on your face, maybe, maybe not, is it you, you feel
the whole and you're moving through your life, feeling whole and complete with this love
just beaming from your heart?
What does it look like for you?
Take some time, think about it.
And then practice going through your day, your week with that, leading from the heart,
you know, that your heart feels full that whatever that, however it looks for you, practice
going through your week like that.
Now, there's going to be times when you forget, there's going to be times when you don't
and that's okay, give yourself grace as always and come back and live from it as best
you can.
So for me, especially when I'm getting back into it or if I forgot for a while or whatever,
when I'm coming back, I don't necessarily, okay, I'm going to leave the whole day like
this.
I mean, that might be my overall hope, but I take it smaller, I'm going to, okay, I'm going
to do this task, this meeting, this call, I'm going to the grocery store, I'm going to
lead that shorter experience from a place of joy.
And that allows me to say, okay, it's a little more confined time wise.
I could wrap my head around it, I could wrap my head around the week, but there's a lot
of time within a week.
If I can do this, okay, this half hour thing, this hour long commitment, okay, I'll do
my best to lead from the heart then to live with joy in that moment.
And I find I have more success doing it that way than just hoping I'm going to do it all
week long.
So I invite you, go lead from joy, experience it, share it, and how do you share it just
by living it, by feeling it, and maybe even helping other people recognize it by, you
know, helping them notice things potentially.
All you have to do is love it and people see it and feel it and experience it too.
So go experience joy this week.
All right, thank you so much for hopping in and joining me.
