F-O-R-E Minute Friday - Fix Your Contact Issues Today!
About this episode
Improve Your Golf Contact in 3 Minutes
Struggling with poor contact? It often comes down to weight distribution. Many golfers keep their weight back as the club moves forward, causing the club to hit behind the ball. Fixing this can transform your game—I guarantee it!
Here’s the simple tip:
When you finish your swing, ensure:
1. Weight is forward.
2. Knees are close almost touching.
3. You can tap your back foot.
Try this drill, It’s called the Gary Player Drill:
- Start with your feet together.
- Take a backswing.
- As you swing forward, step forward with your lead foot. This encourages proper weight shift and forward movement.
In just a few swings, you’ll feel the difference. Solid contact, every time. Give it a shot!
