All right. What are we doing? I've already told you what we're doing. So if you don't know, then there might be something wrong with your memory. I'm talking shooting guard tears. Now a lot of the players that we talk about have multiple positions. I'm using fan tracks position, position eligibility at the moment where we're doing this. So some of the guys that I spoke about yesterday in the point guard tears. I'm not going to cover that much and look, there is going to be. I am constantly, let me start this again. I am constantly adjusting things like projections and values emitted here, a shot attempt here. And it adjusts things every day. I'm doing stuff. It's my job. So you might see something that looks a little bit different to what the tears were yesterday.

3:09But all that some also some of the things to do with we're talking a different position. That's why some of these positional tier things, I think, can be overvalued. So he was in this tier yesterday, he was in that tier. So well, you got to find sometimes where the cutoffs are and sometimes the cutoffs become different, depending on different positions. It's all very fluid, very fluid. So shall we get in? Shall we dig into tier number one? Not a lot to talk about here. I don't think. Okay. You maybe you think there is, but the reason because tier one for shooting guards is Luca Donchich. And that's because shea Gordes Alexander on fan tracks doesn't have shooting guard eligibility. Luca was ranked second in the last season actually. He was second in points, he's ever in 59 fantasy points. He's 80 PS5 and some of the Yahoo 80 PS are all whack at the moment. There's one very strange one I'm going to show you later on. I think Luca is going to have the highest usage in the league close to 40% of getting projected at 39 with 36 minutes. To me, he is a clear number three.

4:09Unless you are just so worried about him getting hurt. Remember, three years ago no one wanted to touch Shea Gordes Alexander with a 10 foot pole because of injuries. And that hasn't been a problem the last couple years, but as we all know, players can stay healthy or players can get hurt. It's not a lot you can do about it. I'm very comfortable taking Luca at three. In a point so it's not even a discussion. Whether it's Luca or Shea that goes at three, it's very clearly Luca. In a category like I still would take Luca if you want to take Shea, I'm not going to argue with too much, but again, Shea is not listed at this point as a shooting guard on fan tracks. Tier two. These guys were in tier two yesterday for the point guards and their tier two again here for shooting guards. Not a surprise. Kate Cunningham and Anthony was over no idea why Kate is listed as a shooting guard. Makes no sense whatsoever, but whatever. I don't understand the ADP's here. Why is Anthony Edwards at 17 and Kate at 9 that makes no sense. And as per yesterday, I got Anthony Edwards in tier three for points leagues and Kate in tier two.

5:10I would take Kate over Anthony Edwards nearly every time, but they're close enough in value where I can see. I can see that obviously I can see it because I've got it here, but I can see them being put together in that same tier. We went into a little bit more detail on Kate yesterday. Let's talk about Edwards. Who again, if you're considering him at pick five, I think you're wrong. Six. Even seven. I'm not really sure where I get that. He was 14th in category leagues and points leagues last season. He average 44 fantasy points. He is ranked number eight at the moment. I've got him projected a 31 usage with 35 minutes a game, but for the guy that never wants to miss time, never wants to be hurt and never was hurt, he was hurt a lot. Do I think that's going to continue over? No, because I know how injuries work. But at least now I don't have to put up with that reasoning of a guy and he's just always out there. He's love of the game. It's tougher than everyone else.

6:10We don't have to worry about that nonsense anymore. Thankfully. That's two tiers done. Who is in tier three? Well, again, we're always, not always, we're sometimes confused by the positional eligibility's, eligibility's that are given. But all these guys have shooting guard eligibility on fan tracks for again, some reason Kevin Durant, Cooper Flag. Realistically, they're both powerfords. We can play some small for it. And the structure of their teams like Durant will not play really any shooting guard this season at all. He did last season because of injuries. Flag will play some point guard and the Mavericks roster again makes no sense because I don't understand why you're taking him away from playing powerfords. Which gives you the positional advantage of him being there. Cooper Flag is going into the first round of a lot of drafts. I'm okay with that towards the end. Kevin Durant in the first round. He doesn't really go in the first round very much. But I'd actually be okay with that as well.

7:11I've got Tyres Halibut in the shooting guard tiers. Has he ever played a single second in shooting guard? No. But he's listed there. My major worry with him, of course, is back-to-backs off. And a ramp up period and low efficiency to begin this season. But I do think once we hit Fantasy Playoff time, it'll be totally okay. I'm not that worried about that. And then we have Donovan Mitchell. A player who no doubt was incredibly good last season. Eighth in Durant. 10th Fantasy Points, averaging 45 fantasy points. He's ADP on Yahoo again. That doesn't make any sense. It's a 22. I think the rank at 11 and the Fanchak's ADP at 14 makes more sense. But there are still people who are very clear on him being a first-rank guy. And I'm not one of them. I've got him projected a touch under 30% usage at 33 minutes a night. And this is where, and I'm... Maybe this will be the term that I use. Single season myopia. Where people just look back at what happened last season. And that's it. That's all they think. They think that what happened last season is what has always happened.

8:12And what will always happen. Because in the 24-25 season, Donovan Mitchell was like the 40th ranked player basically been that 30 to 40 range his entire career. And in that 24-25 season, he had lower minutes, his accounts and kept minutes down. And he battled a persistent knee problem towards the end of the season. And we also saw that once Jim Harden arrived, he's a system number's plummeted, which is part of the strength that got him into the top 10. He also managed to keep some of that value because I think he was at 95% on his free throws. And that second half of the season with incredibly high 2.0 percentage, has always been an Achilles heel of his. So I'm not particularly confident of Mitchell being a first round player. And I won't want to take him there. But I think he belongs in this tier. The next guy on the tier list is someone that I think could easily finish ahead of Don Mitchell. And that's Austin Reeves. He was 21st last season. 36th in point sleeves. His ADP sits at about 24-23 ranked at 24 and ended the second round.

9:15So I mean, that's just way too low. I've got him projected at 28 usage in 36 minutes. The reason I'm telling you my projected usage in minutes, and I talked about this yesterday as well, is that so you can see what I think they're going to do. And that's how I come to my conclusion on where they're positioned. But if you think that he's used to be higher or is minute to be lower, then take that into consideration when you're positioning Austin Reeves. I think it is entirely plausible. Not necessarily likely, but entirely plausible that Austin Reeves ends up as a first round player. In the games where he played with Lucron without LeBron, he was like 15th, 12th maybe. He was awesome. Great assists, big threes, good scoring, excellent free throws. He was really efficient as well. Defensive stats, they lack obviously. But I think I'd rather him over Don Mitchell honestly. And again, people would be like, that's crazy. But I don't like to live in the past. I look at the production and what did happen as a basis of what could happen,

10:20but factors need to be considered. Mitchell, full season of Jim Harden, a rival of Peyton Watson, Reeves, loses LeBron replaced by Colin Sexton. That's very clearly different directions for both those players. And last guy on this list, we've got Amin Thompson in tier 3. I think Amin again could easily be top 20. He might be just outside that. I think it's fine to have Amin in this range. You can see also, by the way, if you look at the point league tiers, point league tiers are a little bit different than some of these guys are lower, like Reeves and Amin in tier 5 in point league. Same with Don Mitchell, Antarant flags up in tier 3. There's only one person in tier 4 for my point league tiers, and that's Josh Giddy. But you can see some differences who's better in category leagues, who's better in point leagues. That's what we're sort of looking at there. Now we are going to come back and get into tier 4. We are talking about fantasy basketball shooting guard tiers. We've done the first three three tiers there. So now we probably should look at T4 of shooting guards. So T4, decent names here still, really good value of players. Monster drop is ferret. I know this is controversial. A lot of people are talking about Jalen Brown as a fifth or sixth round player. I'm not like I think he's going to obviously lose a lot from what he did in last season. His ADP is very a bit because of points leagues. And he's Yahoo ADP is at 32, which is probably a little high. Fan track sits at 44.

13:21But last season he was 13 in fantasy, fantasy points leagues. He was 25th in categories using Durant. You can see that he's going to play for self-branded hat legend Nick Nurse. So the minutes will be up. I'm going to hit 36. I've got his usage at 28. But that's a whole season usage. Meaning some of that time will be when in beat is there and LeBron is there. But if they're hurt, it'll go higher. But when they're there, the number will go lower. So he's going to be very up and down, I would say. But the idea that Jalen's got this terrible category game again. He's rooted in 9-Cat Fluffery. And that can lead to problems. I think in a value-weighting players. He's going to score OK rebound solid assists solid steals solid threes. Percentage is a not ideal, but they're not like absolutely ball-busting. I think that he gets downgraded too much. And if I'm sitting in round four, I'll have no questions we're taking Jalen Brown.

14:21There was a question yesterday saying why I wasn't Dyson Daniels in the point guard tears. Well, he's not listed as a point guard on fan tracks. I've got him here. And while last season I was very clearly in speaking about the likelihood of Dyson Daniels with steals dropping down. So if you're banking on three steals a game, get ready to learn disappointment, buddy. Because it was never going to happen. And it didn't happen. But now it almost couldn't have gone worse for Dyson last season. 18% shooting from three and only two steals. Let's say he shoots 28% from three and gets 2.5 steals. Now he's not going to be the first round player that a 9-Cat Fluff will tell you. But I'm very OK looking at Daniels as 18% with two steals and going. Well, I guess he may still be starting. And I don't really see why he wouldn't be. No, Ludoid is not better. I think that Daniels is just going to improve from where he was. And you can get him in the 60s. I've got Josh Giddy here. I'm going to up and down on Giddy. Like if you want to take Josh Giddy at the end of the second round and ahead of everyone else in this tier.

15:22I'm all right with it. I'm a little bit worried about the decline in efficiency from him last season. But he saw it. He's also again probably the best points lead player in this group. Got him as a tier four points lead guy. Next is Jimmy Harden. We saw a market drop in usage when he had to cleave and his scoring was way down. He's still going to get good assists. The field goals and 2.0 percentage is not ideal. Free throw is still a leap. But not to the same level they used to be. But he just was not interested in scoring. And I'm not really sure that continues. Or I'm sorry, I'm not really sure that he ticks that back up. But I've seen Jim go middle of second round, which is way too early for me. I've also seen Tray Murphy in some spots be considered like quite high. Now Insana. Murphy was the 22nd ranked player in the round last season. He averaged 39 fantasy points which ranked him 39th. His ADP sits at 36 on Yahoo with a rank of 30th. That's okay. The idea that Tray Murphy is the 12th ranked player, which again I think Ninetown Floughing would tell you is absurd to me.

16:26And we have to also remember that two thirds of last season he played without Dejante Murray. Fierce was a rookie, Queen was a rookie. And Herb Jones was out all year too. Not that Herb Jones takes usage away, but there's just a minute and a bit scenario there. And of course the goat Ben Matherins there now too. I think Tray in this range is about right. I'm not going to overfluff him. Others will. I'll almost never end up with Tray Murphy on any of my teams for that particular reason. But I think if we get him at the right spot, like you're feeling or right about it. Let's take a look at tier five now. Now I will give you this warning that on my tier five page I'm about to show you. It does say T4 at the top because I screwed up. I just realized, but this is tier five because the one we did previously was tier four. But this is again, I will say it again. This is tier five. It's quite robust.

17:26Nikhil Alexander Walker. We talked about him yesterday. What he did the second half of last season is not really replicable. But the role, the minutes, the time I'm ball, all that is. Just the shooting isn't. He's still probably going a little bit low though. But then you flip it to Denny Abdia, who was very, very good last season. Although once he heard his back, he was pretty bad. And we have to worry about some of his shooting. And with Denny, he's going too high for me. 34 ADPs too high. 38 on fan tracks. That's not factoring in the Damien Lidd and Jamran. We're not on the team last season. And Scootenderson played about five minutes. And yeah, Shadensharp is out for most of the year, almost the whole year. But also Shadensharp barely played last season either. It's just going to be hard for Abdia. Yes, he is losing Jeremy Granana. To be on ball, which is where success comes from, as much as he was. Just almost impossible when you're adding three on ball players back into the rotation.

18:26So that's why I've got him here. I've also got Des Bain here. Now Desmond Bain. You can go back and look at his production the last two years. And you can say this is too low Josh for Des. He was, you know, awesome. Well, he's a bit of a nine-calth life guy too. I've got his usage at under 22 with 32 minutes of game. He ranked 65th in Bannesley Point Sleeves last season. 44th in Durant. And the last two seasons for Baino. He has been, some may say, KO TD. Kis on the dick in terms of the players that have been absent. He played the majority of the season before without Jaron Jackson and Jarmaran. Then got traded to Orlando and Franz Vagen was out nearly all year. Sugs missed a bunch of time and Pullo missed games as well. On a healthy team with Franz and Pullo, their Bain will be a third fiddle who doesn't do much. And his three-point attempt rate actually came down. He's a good efficiency guy, but a good efficiency guy on lower volume is not that important. The next player I do want to talk about here is someone that again,

19:27I was massively wrong on last season. I thought him playing point guard would unlock a lot of stuff at a distance, really. And that's Devin Booker. He was 38th, 32nd in Point Sleeves. I've still got his usage projected at 32. And I still think he's, I know they claim Jalen Green's the point guard. J- He's not. He's just not, but they claim that he is. And I don't really find how they're going to start calling Gillespie. So Booker's going to get good assist, but his efficiency has been a bit of a... Well, he's feel-gold, not his free throws, excellent. I hate when I say that. Efficiency when I just mean 1%. Feel-gold percentage. He doesn't have enough threes, he doesn't do enough defensively. But as always, with defensive stats, going from point seven steals to one steal is one extra steal per week. It's so inconsequential. It's so easy to flip. So Booker is relatively secure in these tiers. Just not going as hard as I did on him last season. Thank you, Yante George, who's falling back.

20:28We talked about him yesterday. And then we bring out the two bloke sewer trade-off each other. Bren and Ingram. And the fun guy, Kawaii, landed. Look at the discrepancy here. Kawaii ranked 18th. Ingram ranked 77th. I get it. Bren and Ingram hasn't been healthy. But he was last season, played almost every game. And he's nowhere near as good as Kawaii. But... And look, don't get me wrong. Kawaii is significantly better and a much better per game player than Ingram. But I'm not worried about Ingram having degenerative knee problems. Or being on a load management plan the way that Kawaii probably will be again in Toronto. Taking Kawaii in round two is crazy to me. I will not do it under any circumstance. Not even taking him in round three. Not even close to it. I've got him both here in this zone. They're both for some reason shooting out eligible. Ryan Rollins and Derek White round out tier five. I talked about both those guys yesterday. Rollins are a little bit unsure of. And you can see like how different his ADP is compared to these other players.

21:29Just because how they're going to roll hero, burries, their cichonas, porra. Which makes me a little concerned for where his value may sit. We're going to come back with tears. Well, that's tier five. We're going to come back with six, seven, eight and nine. Before we do that. It's just jokes. We are here, not jokingly, to talk about fantasy basketball shooting guard tiers. We've done five of them. So by my count, that means we should be doing tier number six. So let's do tier number six. An interesting tier. Again, Steph Castle much higher in points leagues. He's a tier six point league guy, along with Kobe White who's in this tier. But the others are all lower.

23:32Heroes are guy that I'm going back and forward on. I've got him in this tier as well. Talked about him quite a bit. Yes, I think he's relatively safe in his production in Milwaukee. But he's also had a million injuries. And that stuff can, I guess, can recur really at any point. So where do we go now? So let's, well, I guess let's talk about the big area. Con Canipple, who I think he's being outrageously ranked at the moment. Canipple sitting at a rank of 37 with an ADP of 37. He was 101st in points leagues. He was 66th in Durant. Well, of course, but he was a third round guy. He struggled a lot towards the end of the season. His shooting numbers were excellent, but he also had some really big dips. And I think that he's going to improve this season. I've got him at 32 minutes and 25 usage. I think he's going to get more assists. But still some blocks are not there.

24:32He's not a big rebound guy. And I worry that when Lomelo balls not setting him up in its copi-wide instead, that he's not efficient. Well, sorry, let me rephrase. Not as ridiculously efficient as what he was. Burning a third round pick, which an average ADP is average. Average position, ADP. At 37 suggests that around half the time he's going in round three, he is one of those ones where you're setting your draft on fire. Him in this area. Go for it. Not yourself out, man. I love it. And that's why again, maybe this is the relevance of tears. You just could have got Norman Powell, who's got a rank of 91 in the same tier as the big Ariola. Okay. You might, again, you may disagree with that. That's okay. Powell, similarly to Canippell, doesn't do much that's not points and threes. The difference with Powell here is, and he finished 73rd last season. 86th in point six. Is that in this Chicago team, part of his success last to use has been

25:34really making hay-wide while blocks have been out. And then when they come back, he disappears. Now, one's out in Chicago. Could he be the number one usage guy all season, unless he's traded? And that's part of why I've just got him down here because he may be used traded. But, did he have lower usage? Brazellus will have lower usage. Caleb Wilson will have lower usage. In Miami, when hero came back, Powell suffered. In LA, when Kawai came back, Powell suffered. We're not Latin friend, we're not going to come back. So, I'm okay with Norman here. Also got Asa Thompson in this tier. I think that Asa is going to play more minutes. My concerns with him and Durin fitting together are still there. But I just think if we just look at Asa and go play three more minutes, we're good. And I'm really big on Kobe White and I'm not really sure why the market isn't. No way sitting in that late 80s. Yeah, look, he is inconsistent. One of the more inconsistent shooters in the league.

26:35But, I'm pretty good with taking him. It's due to tier 7. This one I believe, from memory, I'll just bring it up on my own screen, is a pretty big one. That's what she said. It definitely is a big one. Let's take a look. So, this is part one of tier 7. I've got the chicken, Cedric Coward on here, with a rank of one away. Now, Coward started out last season, really impressively. It was unsustainable and it was obviously unsustainable. And part of my lack of faith in him last season was where are the defensive stats? And they never came. He also struggled a little bit to ramp up usage. But the shows that I did earlier this week or end of last week, I don't remember. We talked about second year players and big jumps jumps that they take forward. So, I'm expecting a bit of that from Cedric here. Good job. I've got BJ Edge come here. Edge come was obviously better than every one of these players last season.

27:37Be as to incorporate LeBron and Jaylen Brown on this team. Now, we've got Jaylen Green. Barely played. Games and minutes. He's ranked 124th. Now again, Jaylen Green is not the greatest player. He gets penalised with 9-cat formula. But it's very easy for him to score 20 points a game, with over 2-3s. Maybe in his pointe idea, he can get 4 assists. I don't think he's a steals guy, but his efficiency is a problem. But he just can't find 20 point scores. And look at the difference again versus him in the next card, Dylan Harper, who's got a rank of 79. I just don't... I hate being anti-Dylan Harper, because I love Dylan Harper. I've bumped his numbers and minutes and all that stuff way up from what he did last season. But it is still very hard to do a 240 game with this team and go, yep, Dylan Harper is playing 30 minutes and I every night.

28:37He played 22 last season, and the blocs in front of him have not moved. 79... Maybe Dylan Harper ends up the 80th best player, but you've got absolutely zero value in that spot. Let's talk about Josh T. Manhart, a guy that I aggressively faded last season, and it worked out well. 72nd in the round, 95 for points, Leagues. He's going around that 90 mark. So I think you can maybe get a bit of value on him, but his minutes were well down. He had that weird wrist hand injury. But like all the next players, I think they're going to be pretty cautious about overworking them, given their extended workload last season. And I just don't think there's any upside in Josh getting back to those 36-37 top-tomato type-minute roles. And we also remember that for the second half of the season, Duce McBride was out, which meant that the guy that could feel some of those minutes wasn't available. Let's go back to the rest of that list.

29:38Milk Jerome is on here. Don't expect what Ty Jerome did last season to continue. But I still think he's going to be the starter. And then Zach Levine, who again, I still think he's pretty good. He won't have to deal with Shrota and Westbrook and DeRosen. Maybe they bench him. Maybe they trade him. But we have to remember the motivations of this Kings team. Religation zone. And DeRosen, cough and Nick Clifford, aren't keeping you out of the relegation zone. Levine and Sabonas probably will. The next half of tier 7 involves Cedema Colum, who I'm pretty high on this season. Darren Peterson, who's going too early. And I think he's going to have some pretty bad percentages as nearly every high usage rookie does. And I really need to see how the assists in that play out for him. And I've also got Brannup and James Kuhu. Somehow it's turned into a play that everybody hates. 135th in Durant.

30:39121st in Point 6. I'm not going to tell you that's good. It's not. I've got him projected around 20 usage with 30 minutes. But look at this warrior's team. Is there anybody? I don't even know whether Pajemski can do this. Is there anybody who can create their own shot? I've got really. It's Stefan. It's... Ge Santos maybe? I don't know whether Pajemski starts or Yaxel starts or Melton starts or Santos starts. I don't know. But Pajemski should hit threes, be a good rebounder, some steals, some assists, some scoring. I'm expecting an improvement from him. I've got a manual quickly there. My worry with quickly is he just loses usage with Kauai. Otherwise I'd probably have him at tier higher. If you've taken flyer picks earlier, injury risk picks earlier. Wigo is just solid here. This is just a rock solid sort of spot for Andy Wiggins.

31:39You're not expecting him to blow through this, but I'm not expecting him to fall off the face of the earth either. That brings us to tier 8 of shooting guards. And we're just going to run through these last two tiers a little bit quicker. Rowan Barrett Jr. is there. Mr. Black, Anthony Black, Yego Diohman, Iod Sumu, Jeremiah Sashia Fias, Kishorn George, who was awesome for the first two months of last season. Fell off, got injured, and now has to deal with the Bansi Young and Davis, which he didn't last season. Very hard to replicate what he did. I got Drew Holiday there. Not really a big Drew Holiday guy this season. I love Drew Holiday, but I'm not a big Drew Holiday guy too many players. Herb Jones, also not a big Herb Jones guy. But if you're looking for some later steals, probably the right area to look at it. The rest of tier 8 includes Anthony Melton, AJ Mitchell, Andrew Nempart,

32:39and his teammate Aaron Nysmith, Kevin Porter Jr., who I could easily put higher. I just don't have any understanding. Play the 240 game. If you don't know the 240 game is, it's just look at a team's roster and every game there are 240 minutes. Teams play a 10-man rotation. Some play 11, maybe one team will play 9. But you've got to fit 240 minutes for 10 players. So do it with Milwaukee. And all of anyone's agendas of Barrie's got to do this, and this is going to do this, and this is going to do this. I just don't know how to all the minutes work. It's really hard. I got Reed Shepard here because I don't think Eméadoke likes him, plus they get Van Vlete and Marcus Marpak, or into the lineup, which weren't there last season. And then Jalen Suggles would be way higher than this if we weren't concerned about him being injured all the time. And the final tier, tier 9, for shooting guard eligible players. Grayson Alan. You won't be thinking about Grayson Alan, and good.

33:39Don't really think about him too much. But on that Hornets team, if Miller, who's a little worried about Brandon Miller with these shoulders, still like, I think his surgery has been like, embraces all offseason. I'm a little worried about it. Alan can play the 2-3 and the 4-and he can handle the ball. Having Dennis Schroder there hurts a little bit into Grayson Alan. But could he get 27 minutes off the bench and shoot just better than he did last season? Maybe. I wouldn't drive him. But I wouldn't drive Christian Brown on his tier 9 as well. I think the Brown has to be better than last season, but I also think he's bad. I've got Cole Gillespie there, and Gillespie was starting to be 3-2 higher. Triple H is here, Jaime Hakez-Hunia, who I probably don't think starts him in walkie again, play the 240. Or maybe he does. Trey Jones is a backup Malik Monk. He's a backup at like, I don't know how to trust Sacramento. And the last one there is Jalen Tyson. When you look at that Cavs team, Tyson's going to have to play a lot. Now, a lot of his value was based on he shot like 48% from 3, not even in exaggeration.

34:44But as the bench guy, they lost Schroder and Alice from last season. And Struce is gone, so he's minutes are going to have to stay pretty high. It's whether he can turn that into fantasy, but I'm not convinced. But these are more, these Alan Brown Gillespie Hakez-Jones Monk Tyson group. It's more like, hey, you're picking them in 14 teamers, and they're going to be on and off, Rostas and Streamers throughout the year. And that is my shooting guard tier's show.
