Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies, just like I'm so much more than quarterback Peyton Manning. I'm also Peyton Manning. Insurance and financial services together? It's a masterpiece. Peyton Manning does it again. For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide investment services corporation and preferred Columbus, Ohio. Football is back, baby. And whether you've been betting for years, you're just looking to put a little action on the games. My bookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping. We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months. We're in on this jet's offense more than almost anybody. And we're terrified of this falcon's offense. Even though you got B-john, you got cow pits. You got Drake London, but you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media. Go to my bookie and find the place you already know you like

and take a shot. That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off. And if you're new to the club, the betback bonus gives you protection on your first play. Sign up with promo code player to opt into the betback bonus and take your first shot with a safety net. If you wade your loses, you get it right back. No questions asked. Football is finally here. Get in now and cash in on the season with my bookie with promo code player to get that betback bonus. Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere. You're welcome. What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to 2026. The season is here. Welcome everybody to the game plan brought to you by play

a profiler dot com. I am your host, the authentic one. And I'm back. Mr. Medicube joined today with my brother from another mother, Mr. Cody Carpertier live from the Err Cody week one. Let's do it. Baby, how excited are you for the season guy? I mean, it's there's no better time of year. We've had college wall back for a couple of weeks. And now is when it really starts to get real because whether you're balancing both sports or you're just here for the fantasy football set of the conversation. I mean, Wednesday, September 9th, we're kicking it off Seattle in the Wingo and Thursday. We got ball Saturday, Sunday, every day, every weekend, Maddie Keywoman until Valentine's Day. And then that's when the wives get the figure out that we got the Super Bowl on Valentine's weekend and their plans are trashed. I'm the one time you're going to tell them that. What are you going to tell next? I think it's holding out until I find out the plan. Yeah, maybe before that could I mean after that because I can

sacrifice a little bit of a Super Bowl. If I don't care about the teams, but if I even remotely care, what am I kidding? I'm going to care about no matter who's in the freaking Super Bowl. So he's trying to talk to something that you can't watch in the Super Bowl. I was and I even it not only took me 13 seconds to realize how full a crap I was in regards to that. Because of course I'm going to watch it's football. Baby, we're watching football from now. Like you said all the way until 2027. It's go time. I'm excited. I'm ready to talk about it. I'm ready to jump deep into it. And I'm excited to be here on the damn game plan. The game plan, baby. So if you're new to play a profile new to the game plan. First of all, welcome. Take a seat and joy yourself. This is a weekly show for us casuals of the guys that aren't necessarily the most analytical but want to win their leagues. We're redraft minded. We're fun minded. So we're going to talk a lot about starts, a lot about sits, some streaming advice throughout the year. And then I also want to sprinkle in a segment each week where we kind

of dive into a little bit more meta strategic topics by cells. If you're O and three and you need some dubs who do you add? Buh, buh, buh, buh, all that good stuff. So without further ado, let's jump into the week one episode. We're going to start with the meta strategy topic of the week. Maybe I'll get a banner made strategic meta strategic top of the week. We want to go with some players that you have to add before Sunday to get ahead of your Jag off your your jabrone league made. So Cody kick us off. Who's someone that everyone needs to be adding right now? Well, I mean, I think that that's a lot of work for a graphic. Was it put that way if you're going to get that made? That's a lot of words. I mean, you know, all nine yards, but no, I think it's going to be very interesting. Week one's massive for this exact conversation. I think a lot of people directly will point at like injuries and stuff. And like, you know, as we continue to monitor injuries headed into week one, you have to you have to think about not only those guys, the travians,

right, the Elven Camaro's and stuff like those are the easy ones where you just point you go, well, Kendra Miller supposedly had a good fall camp. So Kendra Miller could be a sneaky one that you just want to you just want to stick them on the bottom and see what happens. Maybe this is a 60 40 between ETN and and and Kendra Miller and week one. We don't really know. I kind of expect expect Travis ETN to Travis HN however the hell we're going to talk about him this year. I can't do this guys. Can it can the real HN just stand up? We can't keep just changing our names. I mean, if I was to pick one HN, I'll take the one in New Orleans. Just to work clear here. But I mean, I think that's the easy, that's the easy place you have to start. I know it sounds stupid. You just like, well, that's easy layup. It's like it's week one, buddy. Like there's going to be some situations. I think you look at New England up in your neck of the woods. Like Corey Kiner was a very interesting running back coming out of Cincinnati and he's he's paved his way through got on this New England roster now, right? They went on to choir him, brought him in.

There's no travy on this week. Corey Kiner is a receiving merchant out of the backfield. I think he can compliment Ramandrae Stevenson very well. There, you know, Roma Dunes is banged up. I think you look in that wide receiver room. You know, the interesting thing is everyone points to Luther Burton and I said, I don't have a problem. I love me some Luther Burton. You don't have to twist my arm and ask me twice if I like Luther Burton. But there's been so much amplification of Jade Walker, the wide receiver, the second year wide receiver in Chicago. There's been so much dynamism shown in preseason from Xavier and Thomas. Like guys like this, they're just like, I'm not saying you need to go add either of those two guys. But it's just an example to be given that those are going to be some of the names that your leaguemates will potentially jump on. If Roma Dunes and Mrs. Again, those two guys are going to get a lot more run. And I think it's easy to point at Luther Burton and say, like I got a question today on it. From a from a follower that's been locked in, tapped in for a long time. And he's like Luther Burton will Ramandrae Stevenson and the Flex.

I'm thinking to myself, that's to me, that's not a question. To me, Mrs. Ramandrae Stevenson is backfield in New England, right? With no Traveyor Henderson, even if Traveyor was there, I think it was 6535. But that's where the Luther Burton conversations at. We haven't really seen Luther Burton can be and the comp to a monoraw same from the comps to Jace and the comps to Jamar J. So we haven't seen that. We know what's in there. We know it's deep in there. But you know what else is deep in there? And I'm going to say it again, like I said it last year, there's a little bit of Jaden Reed in there, which is scary as hell. And again, so this isn't to, I know I've taken the question. I've went to left field to the right field with it. But you went to some interesting guys. I think notably at running back, Kendra, Miller, Cory Keiner. But I think that there's also situations you look in Chicago where people are going to be pointing at Luther Burton, pointing at these other wider receivers because if Roma Dunsay were to miss week one, then you're going to have that. But I think you stick with running back. Running back is the directive that I have in week one.

If I'm going to add bodies, I'm going to add a Cory Keiner. I'm going to add a Kendra. There's rumors that Jalen Wright might be the number two running back in Miami ahead of Oligordan. What does that mean? You know, I know Chris Rodriguez has been drafted, but he's the most interesting one that Jacksonville backfield if your league isn't that deep. I look at Carolina. Jonathan Brooks hasn't practiced much at all. And so who made that roster at Maddie Cueville? And I'm going to bounce it right back to you. I know I've been hogging the air for a minute. AJ Dylan made the Carolina Panthers roster. Oh, period. Quadzilla. I'm with you. I think that right now what we need to be doing in our redraf leagues is scouring for running backs because the value added to a running backs profile can happen in one one of these called the trainer. Yep. One little tap on the old helmet and all of a sudden the fantasy landscape can be thrown on its head. You brought up Chris Rodriguez. I think that's where I want to start. Only about 33% rostered on ESPN right now.

So yeah, we know about Chris Rodriguez because we were the sickos who had him on our rosters last year when he was the running back five going into the season for the commanders. But this year, two and getting all the surface hype. And I heard you say this on roster watch with Alex and I couldn't agree more to in his built to be a flashy spelled, you know, change a pace second guy 1012 carry guy. He's not the one you want to just give the rock to give the rock to Chris Rodriguez is built a little bit more for that better in past bro. We saw the reports. So Chris Rodriguez is someone I want to add another guy that I'm looking to add here Cody and I want to ask you opinion on it because we talk about, you know, sexy ads could be like a Chris Rodriguez could be like you mentioned some of these running backs you mentioned we talked about a man's like ads ago. Okay, I guess I'll do it. I'll put the put the hard hat on. I'll get the work and then you have the unsexy ads and that's where I want to go. Trey Tucker out of Vegas right now is rostered approximately around 30%

of leagues a little bit under. But people forget last year he averaged about 9.5 fantasy points per game. But again, that is something that made him what is your 45 on a per game basis. He saw 90 targets after, you know, a lot of those came after Jacobi Myers left. They didn't bring in anybody. It's really his job to lose against Jalen nailer and Jack Batch. Of course, we know the JS end of 2026 Brock Bowers. That's the number one guy. But after that, Trey Tucker is someone that could easily put up 7 and 120 with maybe one or two studies in week one. And then you're using all your fab. You're trying to climb your waiver order or you can add a mile for free. 99 look at some of these metrics from last year. Yeah, they're not necessarily glaring with top 15 top 20 potential. But once you had a guy that you could sprinkle in your lineups every now and again had good target separation last year. He's going to have comparable, you know, very solid at worst quarterback play

for his entire season. So Trey Tucker is someone I want to add is he on your radar. So you get a lot of them in your leagues this year is your free agent. Where do you have Trey Tucker? Yeah, I mean, I don't have a lot of Trey Tucker, but I understand it. I see it. I get it. I think the way you look at it, especially going into like week one from a matchup perspective, we have the roster watch matchup tools over on the website and a pro section. I mean, you're starting out with Miami and there's no worse team in the sport right now than Miami anyway, you slice it and you got competency at the quarterback position. I think Bowers is going to be fine. You had a couple of boo boo's in fall camp from Bowers and Jenty. So do they slow roll them? I mean, you know, you mean you, Mike Washington started to get drafted a lot more often because he's a rookie dynamic running back at Argonza, but like I think of Mike Washington. I think of Michael mayor. I think of Trey Tucker. I think of these guys that are ancillary pieces to this offense and the reporting with Jalen, there wasn't great during fall camp in Las Vegas.

So it's I think of the ancillary pieces in Las Vegas. That interests me not because I'm going to start them, but because like you said, like what can what what's the return a week from now? When you're looking at it today versus when the games are in the bag in week one, where is Trey Tucker viewed? I think you talk about a wider receiver that could very, very, very easily be viewed as like the number one in this offense after week one. That's what I think I think you think about a slot wide receiver who's dynamic who played like 95% of the snaps last year. And all he has to really do is beat out Jalen Nailer and like there's going to be a speed element here, you know, with Malik Benson and the cat they drafted last year out of Dante Thornton. Like there's going to be those elements. I think Thornton's on I think Thornton's on I R to start the season. And it's like the doors right there for Trey Tucker. So I get it. And again, I brought the the matchup tool. He's the quarterback position. So Kirk Cousins and week one gets the number one matchup on the

roster watch matchup tool. The running backroom is the number 13 easiest matchup on the roster watch matchup tool and the wider receivers again, number one. That's what you want to go. Any other names that people should be adding before the season kicks off this week. You know, it's interesting. I think that Devon Valey, you think you look at New Orleans right now, just just on the byproduct of the idea that Crystal Lava has been just dealing with everything. It feels like I think he had a blood clot earlier this off season. I got a little nicked up last week. No Jordan Tyson to start the season off. Barry and Browns had flashes this this preseason Bryce Lance was banged up. He did some flashes. You know, no, Alvin Camara, Tason Hill doesn't exist in the situation anymore. It's a great setup for Tyler Schuch and week one. I got him ranked. I think as my quarterback eight, yeah, quarterback eight on the week, going into Detroit, which is a money maker on that back and that back ends brutalized after this off season of situations that happen.

And I look at Devon Valey as a guy that again, you're going to come out a week one Devon Valey, eight targets, six receptions, 52 yards, touchdown. That's 17 fantasy points, Matti Kewum. Like, I know it's ugly. I know it's not fun, but here's the deal. The health, the volatility that Crystal Lavin Jordan Tyson have right now and the lack of depth in that wider see room, unless you expect Bryce Lance from North Dakota State or Barry and Brown, who's been five years at Kentucky and LSU. If you expect him to just break out ASAP, there's going to be a wide open door here for Devon Valey to continue to push forward. We heard he had a good fall camp. You obviously had the tight end room here, which is going to be an impact on this, which you want Johnson and Noah Fanton. I'll see what Oscar Delp has in the bag, but I really, really think that Devon Valey is going to be a solid value here. And again, it's, here's the deal in week one. You shouldn't have to worry about this stuff. But again, if you get swindle out of a room of dunes, they are something at the last minute.

Like I'm fully on the potential of flex and end of Devon Valey in week one. Yeah. And on to the reason for this segment, this is why it was so important for us to do it now is you grab these guys before next Wednesday. So before fab runs or waivers run, however your league is, you want to get in so that you can discount double chip tap this free agency. If you wait, then you can really only spend all your fab on one or two players. You have to use your number one waiver claim. But if you grabbed one now and he hits on week one, now you've technically added two of the guys at the top of everyone's must add list next week. And I think Devon Valey is a good one. I've done a lot of homework on Devon Valey because I'm in a guillotine league. And he was one of my favorite late round picks because he's going to go in as the number two guy. They traded for him. So the regime likes him, the coach likes him. He's been with Tyler Schuck now for as long as everybody other name, Chris Alave and John Johnson. So it looks like it could be a nice little 10, 15 point day for Devon Valey.

And if you're, you know, struggling, like you said, you wake up on Sunday morning and do a role, my doing say, Oh, you T, um, SHIT out of luck. Devon Valey could be your play. And at tight end, I just want to add his league, his teammate, John Johnson again. A lot of you sharks out there. If you're in a lot of leagues, he's rarely available in your leagues, but at tight end with such fragile roster ship. I mean, how bad, I mean, how many weeks is someone going to wait for Isaiah likely to pop or Mark Andrews or TJ Hawkins? And these are the guys that are rostered at a higher percentage than John Johnson, who comes in at about 49% rostered. So if he's there and you got a roster spot at him for all the reasons that Cody just brought up. So we're talking about adding running backs, some receivers, some tight ends, hit that waiver market now before it gets a little too pricey. And you're going to want to stick around because after we get back, we are going to talk about our favorite starts, sits and streams at every single position.

We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months. We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody. And we're terrified of this Falcons offense, even though you got Bijon, you get Cow Pits. You got Drake London, but you got two bad left handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.

Go to my bookie and find the place you already know you like and take a shot. That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off. Get in now and cash in on the season with my bookie with promo code player to get that bet back bonus bet on anything anytime. Anywhere. You're welcome. Maddie Keyroom, Cody Carpter, the game plan week one. We're getting you ready to win your opening matchup. Let's start with QB's Cody. Who is your start of the week? Oh, this is, I mean, this is easy for me. I brought up Tyler Shook a minute ago, who I think is a mighty solid value here. Yeah, I think that might be my answer. I think that might be my, the start of the week period. Again, just for clarity, we're talking about these are obviously roster guys, right?

Yeah, this is just like your start. You want to put your stamp on a quarterback just so people listen and can go, Oh, I have them as my QB to maybe I should get them my lineup. Oh, I could trade for them. Let me get them for this week because I need a win. So just give us your start of the week. Okay. So I'll just say this. I really do like Tyler Shook, but I'm not going to go him. I'm going to go Jared Goff is the guy that has counterpart in that game. This is going into Detroit. Again, I think both these back and snow has got a better back end than Detroit does. But I think that this is going to push for a shootout. Like I think we're looking at a 38 35 off the rip out of Detroit, New Orleans in this game. So I have Jared Goff as QB one. Our projections don't have them number one. They have them closer to to QB seven. But I love to match up. I think total set at 50 Detroit, Thread by a touchdown. I think no one is going to be able to box in this one. So I think we're looking at a, you know, potentially a five touchdown, four touchdown situation from Jared Goff and week one. And Jared Goff is such a good name to bring up because we're talking about a guy that's

only Ross learned about 70% of his pan leagues right now. So there is a chance he's available. And if you have a Jared Goff, but you drafted, I mean, would you rather go Jared Goff or Jane Daniels at Philly? I'm going golf. I mean, I have Daniel Daniels is a solid play, but they have a bottom, that's a bottom three matchup on our matchup tool right now. And that's, I mean, you're talking about going into Philadelphia against that defense, which is the scary part for me. And also you, you had your new weaponry and Stefan Diggs. The backfields of question mark, you're missing your starting left tackle. There are me tonsil that offensive. Maybe there was, there's, I think there's been no, I'm trying to go off this in my brain. As far as like when I've been updating the offensive line rankings this off season, I don't think a single team took a bigger hit than then losing Laramie tonsil at the left tackle position and then also just struggled to put the pieces back together. So we have Washington right now with the 30 second ranked offensive line in the sport. That was coming into the season.

The matchup is a bottom three matchup for Jay Daniels. Like I'm starting to get off over Jay Daniels 10 times out of 10 this weekend. Yeah, that's a, I mean, that's a bowl call, a good call. And there are no these not alone. People who rostered these guys in Australia, Brock, party, Matt Stafford. Am I going to trust these wild travel plans for week one? I don't, I think I would rather go with golf. Give me the guy at home who's going to get that home cook and looking to bounce back in a potential shootout atmosphere. So there's definitely someone to go with when it comes to golf. It's going to be tough for him to crack your starting lineup. If you have an Uber stud, but I mean, listen, if we're trying to win in redraft, you got to make these bowl calls sometimes. My start of the week, it's going to come across as a nada. But when you look at the numbers, it might be a little bit more helpful than you'd realize on the surface. I'm more just in Herbert, my QB one of the week at home against Arizona. Arizona is going to look to be a bottom five team and almost every metric that you look up heading to the season.

But when you look at the starting percentage, so the amount of rosters on the platform that are starting just in Herbert, we're looking at 65% because there's a lot of teams that drafted Kyler and they drafted Justin Herbert or they drafted Justin Herbert and Trevor Lawrence. Oh, Bull Nix is a lot of QB value this year because they all pretty much fell outside of Josh Allen and maybe a little more Jackson. So right now, I'm saying if you got Herbert and you're playing him over almost anyone, including the top guys, great matchup, middle of the road last year. But again, we saw this team put up points and not stop a lot of points. Highest implied Vegas total this week for the chargers and then new offensive coordinator, Mike McDaniel. You don't think he's going to want to show off the new toys. Don't you think he's going to want to let that laser rocket arm flang it? So I might start of the week is Justin Herbert. Don't overthink it. I like it. I like Herbert. I have him sitting right now at QB five.

Again, the only reason I didn't do this, you brought up a second ago. If you got the stud, you play him, you know, Allen, Josh Allen's got the toughest matchup against Houston this week. I still have to have him in front of Justin Herbert. I brought up golf. I think hurts is up there. So I think there's a couple of dudes I would take over Herbert. But again, you talked about the matchup. The only problem I have with that matchup is I question whether Arizona can hang. And I think obviously everyone points to Jacob per cent. They're like, well, he didn't win in the games last year, but he kept Michael Wilson and Tramock Bride. I know he's guys fantasy relevant. I get that. But I think this charger team is going to try and make a statement a week. One, I think there are a suitable contending football team. If they stay healthy, shocker. I mean, that's been the conversation for two decades. But that's the other part of the chargers is the running game. And I think we'll talk about that here in a minute. But I think that the running games are a massive part of this. Cody, who is your QB that you're sitting this week? I mean, this there's a couple that you could go off right now that just have some brutal, brutal matchups.

But I think off the cuff, I would just go with, you know, I think you can look at these Australian, the Australia quarterbacks, specifically Brock perty. I'm just, I'm just going to say Brock perty because the projections actually don't mind him. He's flirting with QB1 territory when I say QB1 top 12. And I think you look at that situation where Mike Evans is going to play, but Mike Evans has had three different soft tissue injuries this fall. And he says, oh, it doesn't matter. I would have played through it. It's like that what doesn't matter, Mike, like we get that you would push through because you are you, you are one of the greatest wide receivers in the sports history. But that doesn't mean that you are six for one, twenty and two Mike Evans, right? I think you look at that wide receiver room. I think you look at a kiddle that's banged up. I think you look at a McCaffrey that's unhappy. Honestly, Mattie, I'm, the McCaffrey's not even banged up. His wallet just hurts, right? And so the deal with McCaffrey is like, I, I wish I could tell you what he's been doing exactly in the sideline. I hope he's still training and running. And I think that's very important to soft tissue stuff.

If you're just standing around with some in your butt, like that's going to impact potential soft tissue stuff that could just flare up, right? So I'm sitting perty because of one travel, two injuries in that wide receiver room, a tight end room with George Kittle in consistencies and question marks I have in that offense. I think the Rams win this game. Niners keep it close, but I don't think it's on the back of Brock Perky throwing for some three, four touchdown situation. And then the other ones, I would just roll down the street. People hate Patrick Mahomes. I love Patrick Mahomes. It's brutal matchup against Denver and week one. I think you could probably sit him. That's fine. Stroud against Buffalo, another shitty one. But I think that those are three that I think people may be considering that I would just I would probably hold off on if you can. Yeah, for me, I'm sitting Trevor Lawrence this week, tough matchup at home against the Cleveland Browns, but Cleveland's going to come out. I mean, that defense wants to prove that they weren't just Miles Garrett and a bunch of his buddies. That's still a good defensive unit. I'm a little bit lower on the Jags offense coming off of last year's highs.

So I wonder if he struggles a bit. I have him outside of my top 12, which to me is a sit in redraft, especially when you can get guys like we talked about Jared golf and some others here that it's possible. We'll get to some streamers in a second. So I'm sitting Trevor Lawrence this week, especially if I can get one of these guys are about to talk about some Cody. Kick us off. Who is your QB streamer of the week? Yeah, I mean, I don't. I guess if you wanted to get dirty, if you had to get dirty, I think Gino Smith is a decent, a decent one. I mean, if you're, you got to be upshits creep though. I mean, you really do. He's got a, he's got one of the top matchups right now. You're talking about going in, going into Tennessee. He's healthy. Garrett Wilson's healthy. This tight end room is getting healthy. We'll see what happens with Cedeek. I think they're going to have a solid run game going into this thing. I think the Jets beat Tennessee. I think they manhandled Tennessee. And it could be just, you know, Gino's healthy for now. So let's see what happens. Like Ad Nymitchell. I think Gino's a solid play this week.

That hurts to even talk about. But I think people need to understand that this Jets roster is significantly better than it has been the last couple of years. He's got the weapons. He's got the capabilities as long as, you know, he hasn't fallen too far off of, you know, where he was a handful of years ago for Seattle. I think we may see a lot of Gino Smith in two QB Superflex lineups. Now I know that's not necessarily the redraft crowd, but I'm going to redraft league with Superflex. So you're going to see more and more of that. So if you're looking to stream, you could do a lot worse than Gino Smith. This week I got Gino coming in as my QB 30. But it's in a tier that could go as high as QB 22. If you're nervous about Matthew Stafford in Australia. So for me, I think that that is my, my play here now. I'm going to go with the risky streamer. Would I start the sky over Trevor Lawrence? I would. I would. I would, but it's very close. I have a pretty much back to back in the old ranks.

But I'm going with Malik Willis indoors. But I don't know if that's a shootout. I know the Vegas doesn't think they're going to score a whole lot of points. But that rushing upside, we saw him go a bit nuclear as a can. You know, I have a QB over one overall type of week last year to end the season with the Green Bay Packers. He's QB 1 now. He doesn't really have the weapons, but I'm just going to rely on the leg. And if I want to throw one other stream, but we talked about him a bunch. So we can kind of just lump him in because if you're listening, you've got the gist of it. But Tyler Schuck, Tyler Schuck has a good floor to me. But if you need some ceiling, maybe you're going against a little Drake May, AJ Brown, that goes off our Wednesday night, low generic price, run back all of a sudden. You're looking at a 60 point hole. You want that rushing upside. You want to go with someone like Malik Willis, I can maybe scamper in for two tuddies. Let me add one thing here. I think that's a great point. I think that's a great point with Schuck because I brought up Geno Smith. You write up Malik Willis. Those are bottom of the barrel. Yeah. Right.

That's that's bottom of the barrel. Good situations. Univerously unrostored. Univerously unrostored, but also the Schuck thing like Schuck hasn't exactly been drafted. By many people like mostly 50% yeah, he's 50. Yeah. Yeah. So it's like that's probably the better real, you know, you can stream Schuck in a lot of situations. I think in a lot of homeligs most most guys only have a quarterback. Some potentially to again, if you sit in a bad spot, I think Schuck's a great answer. Just so we're clear on the P. I don't want people going out there being like, oh, I'll play Geno Smith over Tyler Schuck. And like just because we said. No, right. Right. Right. Good call. Good call. All right. Let's move on and run it back. Start of the week. Running back start of the week. I mean, hammer the week to me. Um, I first off, I mean, obviously, Jumir Gibbs is going to be the number one. That's going to be the, I think that's the 2026 thing. It's going to be Jumir is number one. Now let's start the rankings type of a situation. After that, though, I think to me, I brought up the charges earlier on the side of the Justin Herbert thing. Omari and Hampton's a hammer.

I think Omari and Hampton's going to come in here and you're going to really see what it looks like to have a bell cow in this Los Angeles. I know they're going to try and get keep Mitchell involved a little bit. Hopefully they can keep him healthy because that's always fun when you have a dynamic for to run in. Just Swiss Army knife. But I think Omari and Hampton's lined up for 25 touches in week one. And they're just going to bastardize this Arizona defense and get by get done. And like I said, I think good Herbert play is fair. But I think that this is a situation that you can kind of, it's a little bit of a warm up. No disrespect to the car. The NFL, but it's a little bit of one of those situations where you're like, we can kind of go in here and just lean on these guys and give. Omari in the ball 25 times 20 carries five receptions 21 carries four receptions. He ends up with 150 yards total with a touchdown. Yeah, I mean, that is the fear with the Herbert hammer or Lad Maconkey double stack, especially like the DFS leagues. It's just a Hampton second half just the three headed dragon over and over and over for my start of the week.

I'm going sake on Barkley against the commanders. Commanders last year was at the sixth most advantageous matchup for opposing running backs. The projections are there from Vegas. It looks like they are expecting a lot of points scored from this new offense led by Sean Manian, right? The big, the big guy. Sean Manian. Big, Sean Manian. Okay, so let me make sure his first name right. But what I went to go check out Patriots mini camp was joint practice with the Eagles. They said, you know, you can hear the term comes from a Shanahan coaching tree. But then when you see a guy, yeah, that's Shanahan. That is create and mismatches at the line of scrimmage. That's getting the ball in your playmaker's hands. And they went to Sequan Barkley a lot. And it was their most effective play call over and over and over again. Because we know Sequan, he's not just going to catch screens and swing passes. This dude can run some routes.

We know he can break off some Texas routes, some deep wheel routes. There's going to be a lot of usage going Sequan Barkley's way, especially with Manian drilling the idea of middle of the field. So I would like to get Dallas got it this year. And that's also why Sequan Barkley. I think he comes out this week and potentially is the running back one on the week in my rankings. I have him inside the top 10 at number seven. He is just primed for a big game. And they need this wind if the Eagles want to come out and make a statement. They can do it against a divisional foe home against the commander. So I'm going to go with Sequan Barkley as my start of the week Cody. I think that's a good call. I just bumped him up. You said it. Everything you kind of talked about kind of sold me. I bumped him ahead of Jonathan Taylor and James Cook. I put him up to seven. I think there's a conversation with Chase Brown that could happen here. But I think that that's the Bengals in a good situation. So I like Sequan. That's interesting. Good thought. I just wonder how long can they really lean into Sequan Barkley?

I know people are like, well, I mean, it's a generational talent. I get that. Right. Don't get me wrong. I understand he's also 29 like this is. And I get that also the age apex only matters for guys that aren't, you know, generational talents. It doesn't matter for Derek Henry. It doesn't matter for Sequan. It doesn't matter for Emmett AP. Like you can name the guys that it doesn't matter for. And Sequan's one of them. But if you're talking about giving this guy 350 touches again, there's no AJ Brown, Maddie. There's, I mean, there's no AJ Brown. There's, there's Devon Smith who's nice and, and don't having wicks. Like how much are they going to start to? This is a big question I have with that often. How much are they going to start to implement Dallas Carter? Oh, I think this is the big, big Dallas Carter year. Big Dallas Carter year. I mean, you just factor in the how much that system loves tight ends, how much information how much emphasis there's been on attacking the middle of the field, how much touchdown production he's had in his career

without these improvements for him schematically. So I think it's a big year. We are every year. There's a tight end that sneaks in that top six, top five that we weren't expecting. It could absolutely be Dallas Carter this year, especially because he's a contract year, right? They just kind of carry them over. Do they give him a real contract extension? I think that I think he got a little, didn't he get a little nugget? Let me look at this. I thought he got a nugget. I don't think it was a full on payday. One year, seven million guaranteed. Yeah, exactly. So this is a year where he can make that multi-year big time contract. Kind of like what Dalton Schultz saw a couple years ago. These tight ends, if they could ball out in their year. But this is not talking about Dallas County. We can't maybe a tight end. But one real quick thing about Barclay, first four games last year for the Eagles. Four receptions, two receptions, four receptions, four receptions. And now we're talking about everything with the Shawn Manion offense, the Kyle Shanahan influence. If we're talking about a floor of four catches for sake one, I think a mega explosion day is in the cards.

So Cody, who is your sit at the running back position this week? My sit at the running back one. I think I think I'm going to have to. This is tough for me because I I lean. I lean forward sitting. I'm not going to. I'm going to go quench. I'll go quench on joking in the proven. I wanted to so I have an issue and a question about what the Dallas versus Giants game looks like. But the matchup pool surprisingly doesn't mind playing against the Giants, which I don't get because I love the Giants defense. All right. So I think I'm just going to say this. I had questions. I have interest in questioning Javante Williams. I don't want to get Javante Williams too hot. But I'm not going to say I'm going to sit Javante. The one I wouldn't mind sitting is quench on junkens against the I hate that I say junkens right there. Quench on junkens. No, with the cleaver bronze against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That's going to be my sit for the week.

It's a tougher match than against the Jags. Don't think the Jags are getting as much respect on the defensive side of the ball. All the conversations have been about to this Parker Washington that and the improvements on the offensive line and stuff. But you got to remember this defensive line has been built up Eric Armstead, Devon Hamilton, Trayvon Walker, Josh Heinz Allen. They still got FOIA, Luda Conn at the lineback position. This is a very solid to, you know, upper end interior and front seven. So I'm going to go ahead and sit quench on junkens this week because I don't think that anybody is going to respect the Sean Watson. Yeah, I think that's an easy call. I mean, he was a big fade in a lot of redraft notes this year because the offense just doesn't seem like it's ever really going to fire in a manner that can get him into double digit touchdowns this week. Alone 16 and a half implied biggest points. Tough matchup. I have him outside of my running back to range. So I definitely think I agree. He's someone you should be looking to sit. I know it's tough. I know if you draft him as you're in back to.

It's not always easy to find an alternative, but if you keep listening, we may have some streamers available in your league. My sit this week is Jonathan Brooks. You mentioned earlier, hasn't really been practicing the matchup against the Bears was about middle of the road in 2025. But they've made some improvements on the defensive side of the ball. And if they are going to compete, I see a lot of Bryce Young heroics needing to take place. I know they're at home against the Bears, but that Ben Johnson offense. We talked about earlier just yet there's some question marks, but they're so deep now at the pass catcher. They it feels to me that the Panthers are going to have to score and score often. And I don't know if Jonathan Brooks is going to get that lion share of the snaps quite yet. I'm still leaning to be Hubbard if you're going to pick one of the two. But I know there's a lot of Jonathan Brooks hype out there.

And I want to make sure that people listening are not necessarily on that bandwagon whole, you know, full hog to start the year. So I'm sitting Jonathan Brooks week one. Yeah, I think that's right. I think that's right. I have I've been tentos in the Jonathan Brooks side, but the injury. This is the thing that we didn't need to happen was any injury. And now they're saying we're not talking about injuries. Well, I thought it was just a boo boo. So I'm out. I'm worried a week one as well. All right, give us your streamer. So if you have Judkins, you got too much Jonathan Brooks. And you might be looking up there, you know, a little bit of rough waters. Give us a streamer for this week. You ready for this one, Maddie? I've been holding this one before. I've been holding this one for a week and a half. Give me a packers running back Chris Brooks. Oh, baby. There are some of course there's a lot of Martian Lloyd love. There's some Caleb Johnson delusion out there. Make the case for Chris Brooks. I don't have to.

If you've ever seen and I grew up watching this, this rivalry, Minnesota and green Bay went to both of them last year, by the way. And when you insert a 220 pound back into this rivalry, it makes a difference. And Martian Lloyd has been dynamic. They've been. Have you seen the nickname they gave Martian Lloyd? No, the eat king, the eat king kind of a sick nickname. You? Yes, the eat king. But here's a problem with the eat king. I, this is probably my hot take of week one. Do not think that the eat king leads this team in rushing. I think Chris Brooks is the one that takes the takes the lead in week one. I know it sounds maniacal. And you can come back next week on the show. You can fire me. You can you can flame me. You can rip me in the comments over the weekend when Martian Lloyd has three touches. Whatever you want to do, if it happened, even comment. But remember when Chris Brooks takes this backfield by storm in the second quarter.

Again, again, this is not because hey Cody, you just looking at the back. You just looking at the box score from week 18 last year when Chris Brooks had 13 carries for 61 yards against Minnesota. No, I'm not box score watching because I was at that football game and I watch Chris Brooks. I think Chris Brooks is a good back. The thing here, Maddie isn't about that. It's not even really about him. It's about what they told us and what the green Bay Packers told us this off season was two things. One, Emmanuel Wilson, who again last year is pretty important to this backfield. They told us Emmanuel Wilson doesn't matter. $2.1 million. We're not matching. Go to Seattle. Chris Brooks, two years, 4.8 million. Last time I checked with my central Minnesota math, central Southern Minnesota math, 4.8 million for two years is more per year than 2.1. That's 2.4. That's more money. More money in Christopher Brooks pocket than Emmanuel Wilson. Brooks didn't do a damn thing last year besides be on the roster.

Brooks is being pushed up into this role and he's mighty fine enough to be a number two. I don't, again, I'm not saying he's coming here and just taking 80% share in this backfield. But if you're looking for a streaming option or running back, if you draft a Travion and you got Kamara and you're just at odds, at the running back position, Chris Brooks is going to get work. I think Chris Brooks is going to touch double digit touches. He's going to have an opportunity to score a touchdown in this game, maybe two. And he's going to be my streamer of the week. Come back in the comment section. Let me know if I'm wrong or right. I love the call and I'm not, I know this doesn't mean anything and we're going to, if you listen very, very, very carefully, you're going to hear a collective eye roll from our viewers. But ESPN has Chris Brooks projected seven points in PPR format. Might not seem like a lot, but when you look at some of the people he's compared to Bill, Jacquery, Croskey, Mara, seven points, Woody Marks, seven points, Taje Spears, eight points, RJ Harvey, eight points,

Jordan Mason, eight points. All of a sudden you start painting a picture. You know who runs their projection model, IBM, IBM Watson, pretty smart system last time I checked. Pretty smart. And I'm going to make this one very, very quick. We've talked about this offense and this particular part of the offense a bunch already this episode. But I'm streaming Keaton Mitchell back at practice this week. Should be ready to rock. And for all the reasons, all the Mike McDaniel love, all the weaponry, the fun, the toys, the gadgets, the gadgets, everything we've talked about, home against the Cardinals. If you need a running back streamer, you could do no wrong going with Keaton Mitchell, only 24% roster. Now, let's get over to the wide receiver. We've got past catches left, wide receivers tight end, stick around. Thank you guys so much for tuning in the week one of the game plan. We're bringing this to you each and every week. Start of the week. Go. Start start of the week at the wider receiver position for me. I'm going to go ahead and head back to. I got I mean, I'm going to connect it with the quarterback I brought up. I think Garrett Wilson's primed here. Garrett Wilson, the prediction model doesn't love him. Has him as a back in wider receiver to I got him as a wider receiver one on the week. 11 to 12th overall kind of have him as the same spot as Ted Rowell Macmillan. The top five matchup on the week against Tennessee. I'm going Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson. I mean, the I don't know if it's the most important clip from all of preseason, but it's certainly one that stuck in my mind.

Maybe the most when new offensive coordinator Doug Peterson was in a right Frank Reich. Frank Rich. How do you see? Frank. Yep. Frank Reich said I got two bell cows in this offense. Breeze Hall and Garrett Wilson. Expect a very good game for Garrett Wilson coming out to shoot. Wait, pause. Don't say that. Clip that editor. Clip that. You don't want that. I don't want that weak one. I'm going to start off the week. I got him at wide receiver 25 this week. I faded his teammate, but I'm not fading. Mr. Jalen. Coaker this week for the Carolina Panthers. Chicago was a Swiss cheese secondary last year. And I don't know if they did a whole lot to improve Kyla Gordon. Not healthy. There's a number two matchup against receivers. And Jalen. Coaker got the extension. Jalen. Coaker was getting all the bit of opportunities that Ted Macmillan got at the end of this last year. And was the guy who balled out for them in that crazy playoff game against the Rams.

So I'm going to, I'm looking at it as they're just going to pick up right where they left off. Jalen Coaker is a start for me. Why do you see the 25 against the Bears? I don't mind it. I like Ted. I like Ted a row of this week. I think Coaker is going to be, he's, I mean, they've talked about, they've talked, they've talked Coaker up for a couple of years now. And it's kind of like, get off the pot. It's time to go. It's time to run. The tight ends have been questions. Who's the widest of a two going to be to me? It feels like it's pretty straightforward. It's Coaker. And again, it's the correlation of talking about this running back room earlier as well with Brooks and with AJ Dylan. Like watch tube. Like they could throw them all 40 times in this game and Coaker is going to get 12 of them. Right. I agree. All right, Cody, what is your wide receiver sit this week? My wide receiver sit this week. Listen. There's been no quiet part of me this off season in the Rashi rice department. I went to Rashi rice, the Kansas State Chiefs camp early on. Stiff is a board.

It wasn't running against defenders. We saw him get back a week later and struggle against men's sword and lane and some clips. And he still looks like he isn't quite up to speed. And now you walk into week one with Pat Sartane. Miss me. I mean, this is this game to me has always made sense to be everyone but Rashi rice. So I'm going to sit Rashi rice this week in one of the toughest matchups. If not the toughest matchup at the at the wider receiver position with Pat Sartane. The model thinks he's like the 13th best wider receiver of the week. I think that's completely maniacal. So I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to sit Rashi rice. That's a spicy meatball. I'm not going to be able to beat that one. My sit is a little bit more obvious. Brian Thomas Jr. I won't harp on it other than tough defense, tough matchup. And now he's looking like not the number one, not the number two, probably not the number three. Maybe the number four of Breton Strange can jump him in the rankings.

In terms of the past catching hierarchy, I got him outside my top 40 at wide receiver this week. But he was still drafted in a spot where recommendations are going to have you play him. I'm sitting him. Yeah, maybe he can he can haul in a big play. But if you got some of these other guys, these streamers are about to talk about. I think it's an easy sit for Brian Thomas Jr. Love that. I mean, I'm a big fan of Brian Thomas Jr. in general. And I think he's going to be fine. But I am scared in week one to see how this whole offense is deployed. All right, Cody, give us your streamer of the week. I think you can go with either one of these two guys. The one I have my favorite of the two, I have a less confidence in a week one just because he's so fresh out the gate. Chris Bell, a wider see-word down at Miami. Like I love Chris Bell. And I think there's a world where he comes out and just goes AWOL off the rip and goes for a hundred. And like I'm here. What's up? But I think this safer play if you're going to stream someone that offense is Caleb Douglas. The rookie out of Texas tech. I know Malik Washington's got a lot of flame and a lot of people have talked about him.

And I think he's going to get targets. He's the slot guy. I think you're looking outside. I want the flanker or I want the alpha. And Caleb Douglas has had the best camp. He's been there the whole time. Built the best rapport with Malik Willis. So I'm going to go Caleb Douglas this week in week one. But I don't think Chris Bell is far behind. It could be either one of these cats. I'm going to piggyback my streamer of the week with your QB streamer of the week. And I'm going to go AD Mitchell for the jets. We saw the speed. We saw some flashes last year when he made the change and went over to the jets in that trade mid season. And now he's poised to be the number two pass catcher coming out of the gate. Sadeek is banged up. A breeze halls a little banged up. The reports about Omar Cooper aren't necessarily glowing that he seized the role as wide receiver two quite yet. And I think this is the perfect matchup against Tennessee at home. Two teams not really expected to do a whole lot coming to the season.

And both of them are going to want this win. They're looking at their schedule saying, I don't know if we're going to get a lot of these dubs. But this week one matchup is certainly one. So I think this offense for the jets are going to be a little bit more potent than many expect. You talk about Gino. I'm talking about AD Mitchell. Only 17% rostered. If you are looking for a boom bust and you really need to emphasize the bust in the boom, you need that big, big, big, big ceiling, but you're okay with a low floor. AD Mitchell, that's the guy this week for me. I like it. I mean, I just talked about Garwielson. And I talked about Gino. So I'm all in the boat. I think I'm going to end up probably betting on the jets this week. I think you have convinced me to do the same thing. My friend, all right, let's move on to tight end. And we'll make it quick because tight end is pretty cut and dry. Up and down like 12 o'clock. So give us your tight end start of the week. You know, I think there's a couple interesting ones here. Everyone's going to run out to say Bowers. Everyone's going around. They want love. And they want Tyler Warren, etc., etc.

I think Isaiah likely is primed here. I think Isaiah likely is primed in this new offense. It's not really a new offense. I mean, he's used to the Baltimore side with Harbaugh coming over. But yeah, he's learning some new things. He's connecting with new quarter back. A lot of conversation about Malachi fields this off season Malig neighbors. Is he 100% is he not? I think Skats going to eat here. But I think Isaiah likely ends up being the target leader of the football team in week one. So I'm going to go Isaiah likely top five option of tight end this week. Love the likely call. And I also love the excitement getting a guy like that in your lineup for Sunday night football. I'm going to move. I'm going to go with the guy that we already mentioned. We mentioned this offense. So I'll keep it brief. Dallas gotter is my tight and start of the week. I have him as tight and number eight. I like him more than the port of this week. Tucker craft and Harold Fanon. I have him safely inside my top 10. We talked about the new offense. We talked about the new look. We talked a little bit about Goddard. Right now he's rostered in 92% of leagues, but only projected to start in about 60 of those leagues, 60% of those leagues.

So get him in your lineup people. It's not too late because health because Dallas gotter is about to go off. At home against the Washington commanders. I had him circled here to bring up as well. So count me in as another tick on the Dallas gotter side. Dallas gotter fans over here. Give us your sit of the week. My sit of the week. I'm going to go to Buffalo. We I mean, we haven't seen it. I know there's been a lot of hype around him the last couple of weeks. As far as the draft front goes, but dude, I mean, you're just going to convince me at Dallas. Or the Dalton King Cade's going to come out here and just and just what forget that he forgot how to play football. I'm not there yet. It's a tough it's a tough match up in week one. Plant against Houston. These athletic linebackers. This defensive backfield, Jail and Peat tree and stuff. So I'm going to go ahead and fade Dalton King Cade in week one. I am starting in a league. John Johnson over Dalton, concade. So I completely back you up on that and my sit of the week is Kyle Pits.

There's a lot of hype about Kyle Pits, but they're going on the road to Pittsburgh. And we all we all now know that Tua Tag of Aloe is going to be the quarterback reports from Atlanta this year have been putrid to be polite. You saw that live. Did you get eyes on Tua and it was as bad as some of the reports that I read. Dude, I got bastard eyes in my own Twitter comments over my comments on Tua Tunga Voloa. One, you walked up there and I this was like the third week of training camp. They didn't even have his jersey. They didn't even have his jerseys for sale, by the way. They'd everyone but Tua in the jersey in the team shop out there in Fawry Branch. Number two, the here's the thing about Alex laughs at the left quarter back left handed quarterback thing, but they both penics into a make such beautiful throws sometimes. Like they're in like you think about the places that Brett Farve is forced to ball into pause.

You think about. You think about a week one of the game plan. You think about you think about time you think about some of these very accurate balls, right. And then you see the next ball be completely like pulled down. This is the thing about the left you right the left the right hand of quarterback. It's much more natural to go over to top the left hand quarterbacks have a whip down. They have a it's a it's I can't explain it. I'm not a quarterback guru, but I can see it. And I've seen enough quarterbacks play and they they miss so much more than they have beautiful throws to have had a very rough training camp from what I saw and obviously what everyone heard. So I mean, I'm I think Drake London just going to eat on targets and be Jean looked phenomenal when I was there. The interesting thing I think is going to be Brian Robinson in the role. He saw he was playing full back in this offense during training camp. What we're going to get. I might just start taking the Brian Robinson anytime touchdown for the first couple of weeks because they're. So we're getting swindled out of a beach on touchdown early this season for sure for sure I agree with that.

Yeah, Kyle pitch no go. It's it's just I got to see it. And in this year with these late round tight ends, give me Dalton Schultz, give me John Johnson, give me TJ Hawkinson, I mean, help give me chicken conco at this point. It's a tough match up for Kyle Pitz. I do not want to play any Kyle Pitz. So if we're not playing pits, okay, we're saying no to pits. We're not we're saying no to Dalton concade to athletic tight ends. We got to we got to replace him and someone. So give us your tight end stream of the week. I don't really want to stream a tight end. I'll be honest with you. If I draft the one I want to play him. But if I have to stream a tight end this week, it's probably going to be something where I end up going like Gunner Helm for Tennessee against the Jets who we love the Jets this week. Tennessee's been struggling to get the ball to carnal tape. That's been kind of the reports coming out of Tennessee. We talked to a couple of people down there. Walndell Robinson is going to get his, but I think Gunner Helms in a sneaky spot here to if they get down a couple touchdowns end up with an eight target performance.

Terrence Ferguson got drafted a lot late. The projections all have a very low this week. So it all depends on your league when you drafted stuff like this T Ferg's an interesting one though. If you drafted early and weren't a part of the Terrence Ferguson pushed up to the ninth round conversation. We started the show talking that he is a must add and I'm expecting that you did so before this even kept going. So now you got John Johnson. You got your streamer. You got your tight end. You want them on your roster not just now, but weeks coming forward about 50% roster to only 10% started. Get John Johnson off your pregnancy and get him in your lineup. Cody, great week one. I'm thinking we do this again. I'm back. I'm down. I'm in. Give me the number. Give me the time. Give me the rhyme. Give me the reason. I'm here for the crime. As long as you give you a line. Yes, to make a mark. We'll make a mark. Are you just we're going to do the game plan. We're going to run this back.
