0:16
something else. And if you'd like to get free email updates every week, just subscribe through
0:26
the website, or email us at info.info at LibertyInProsperty.com, and we'll keep you up to date.
0:34
And by the way, if you go to our website, you don't see a topic that interests you on the homepage,
0:41
we have hundreds of posts about important issues. And just feel free to look at the search bar,
0:49
put any word in the search bar, and that will lead you to dozens of articles on that topic.
0:55
By the way, a very important topic that is posted is the supreme court approved the right of
1:06
parents to opt out out of some very, very dangerous sexual orientation programs that are being
1:19
really pushed on third graders, fourth graders, and fifth graders in many elementary schools in
1:28
New Jersey. Many school boards are going along with it, saying it's mandated by the state, but
1:35
it's not mandated by the state. And Ethel Hermanow of the Galloway Township Board of Education has
1:43
pointed that out. And there's been a lot of misinformation coming out of the Ocean City public
1:49
schools about what they are doing with their programs. But the fact of the matter is,
1:57
you have, I forget the number of young children who are 10, 11, 12, 13 years old who are
2:08
claiming they are now non-binary. They're not boys, they're not girls, they have some alternative
2:16
orientation, which they are doing only because the public schools are promoting this very,
2:26
very sick culture. And if you look at what happens to these unfortunate students or children who
2:34
identify as non-binary, you see they're just miserable, they're unhappy, they're angry,
2:43
they get involved in radical causes, they get involved in suicide, they get involved in murdered,
2:49
they get involved in mass shootings, very, very dangerous, and there's no reason for it. I believe
2:56
the statistics are there's been a 4,000% increase in students who relate to as being non-binary.
3:04
So there's no biological reason, there's no reason whatsoever other than some very sick people
3:11
and our public schools are pushing children into it. A very heartbreaking story reported in
3:18
the epic times about parents saying I lost my children, grand parents saying I lost my grandchildren
3:28
and it all begins with making sure that your children are protected and no one can protect them
3:35
other than you, the parent, and there are certain forms you could fill out, there's certain
3:41
rights you need to know so that you know what is being taught to your children in the elementary
3:45
schools and they are posted at our liberty and prosperity.com website and in the next couple
3:53
days we'll be posting the forms that you could actually submit to your child school or a grand
4:00
child school to make sure your child is protected. So we have that going on.
4:06
Of phone lines are open, 609, 609, 2, 7, no, the 609, 407, 1450. Let me get that right.
4:17
Now back to liberty and prosperity, we had our fundraiser, I guess it was on the 15th
4:25
two weeks ago and we raised about three quarters of our goal. We needed about $16,000, we got
4:34
about $12,000. So if you have not donated yet or paid your $30 dues, please do so you could
4:43
go make the donation through the donate tab or a website where you can send a check to
4:48
liberty and prosperity at what used to be my Seth Grossman Law Office in Summers Point 453
4:55
Shore Road in Summers Point or just bring it to any Saturday breakfast at Sal's coal-fired pizza
5:00
in Summers Point between 930 and 1030. The speaker was Senator Michael Testa and he gave a very
5:09
important message for Republicans explaining why Republicans got clobbered in the last November
5:19
election and offering suggestions as to what must be done if Republicans are going to remain
5:26
relevant in New Jersey and it's a shame every Republican in South Jersey should have listened
5:36
to him but only two Republican officials came to our event on February 15th. They were our sheriff
5:45
Tokyo, Joe O'Donohue and Atlantic City Councilman Jesse Kurtz. I guess all the other
5:51
Atlantic County Republicans thought there were more important things to do on that particular Sunday
5:57
and that's fine but they and you can hear what Senator Mike Testa had to say by going to our website
6:06
we have the complete video presentation up there on the site. I invite you to look at it at
6:12
liberty and prosperity dot com. Meanwhile last Saturday the Atlantic County Republicans had their
6:19
convention at the carriage house in Galloway and there was some good there was some bad and there
6:28
was some ugly there. The good was Congressman Jeff Andrew gave a very very perceptive
6:37
presentation again on the theme of what it takes for Republicans to become relevant and win
6:45
elections again in New Jersey and you also had Atlantic County clerk Joe Gerallo gave a very
6:53
good presentation as did Atlantic County sheriff Joe O'Donohue. The other speakers
7:02
not so much but I'm not going to go into detail about who it was or why because I privately reached
7:12
out to them and said to them what I'm going to say right now and and the ones I spoke to said yes
7:22
they want to know more they want to talk about this in detail so I don't want to criticize anybody
7:28
who recognizes that they've been on the wrong path and at this point seems to to show an
7:38
indication of being on on the right path and here's the big problem the big problem is the
7:44
Republican Party in New Jersey has no principles has no reason to be a Republican as opposed to a
7:55
Democrat if you ask well why are you in public office what's your purpose in running they will say
8:02
something like well I want to help people well if you want to help people that's your reason
8:09
for being in politics you're in the wrong place because if you want to help people you should be in
8:16
a church you should be in a charity you should be with the Red Cross or the Salvation Army where you
8:25
raise money from people who donate money and then you give the money to people who you want to
8:31
help but if you go into politics if you go into government and you say you want to help people
8:40
well what do you mean help people well which people are you helping and which which people
8:44
are you hurting because when you have the power of government behind you and you decide you want
8:51
to help somebody where's the money come from to help well you got to take the money from somebody
8:58
else so you're really not helping anyone you're helping some people you're hurting other people
9:05
and that's not what government is there for government is there to basically help everybody
9:14
by giving everybody the opportunity to make their own choices as to what they want to do
9:22
and the people who make good choices will do well people who make bad choices won't do so well
9:28
but the people who make bad choices will get an education and learn what they did wrong so they
9:34
could do better next time and the way to do that is to have basic goals as to things that will help
9:46
everybody and what we did at Liberty and Prosperity we do this at the beginning of every year and we're
9:54
doing it right now we take basic goals and we say what will promote
10:02
traditional American values and principles and what will also be supported by 70 to 80% of voters
10:13
so they will vote for candidates are going to do these things and these are the 12 basic goals
10:19
that we had last year and I wonder what your thoughts of them are in the phone lines are open 609
10:26
407 1450 do you agree or disagree with these goals is there something that we're missing something that
10:34
should be on here that's not on here and I'll go through the 12 very quickly number one the
10:41
mass deportation for foreigners who arrived illegally in this country after 2015 and a case by case
10:52
review of people who have been in this country more than from before 2015 number two have honest
11:02
elections one election day with in-person voting and voter ID and very limited mail-in ballots
11:12
to people who prove they're in the military they're disabled or have well documented travel plans
11:18
to be out of the state number three end all so-called green energy subsidies stop raising
11:28
electric rates to pay for wind turbines and solar panels that don't produce any energy when
11:35
you need it and if you don't believe when I'm saying how much electricity was produced by the solar
11:42
panels that were covered with four inches of snow during the past week and how many how much
11:49
electricity was provided by the wind turbines that were in turning when there was no wind
11:56
various times during the past week and and what where did the power come from it came from
12:06
nuclear power gas power and oil so why not build more of the stuff that actually produces the
12:14
energy we need when we need it and I know I've said this a zillion times but if governor Murphy
12:23
did not shut down that gas pipeline from Millville to upper township and if he allowed that the
12:33
power plant at Beasley's point by mile post 29 of the parkway to still be producing electricity
12:42
we in South Jersey would have some of the lowest electric bills in the country and some
12:47
the lowest natural gas bills in the country but we have some of the highest electric and gas
12:53
bills in the country because we now have to buy our power from hundreds of miles away
12:59
and we also have to pay for a whole lot of projects that have absolutely nothing to do with
13:06
making electricity anyway that's number three number four in mandatory government funded recycling
13:16
if somebody wants to go around picking up paper and make money doing it or picking up 10 cans
13:23
let them but don't have the government have double trash collection and actually force us to
13:30
waste energy and water washing our garbage before we throw it into a separate blue garbage
13:38
they get picked up by a separate trash truck where it then gets you know put on other trucks and
13:46
shipped up to a bayon to be sent to third world countries where it gets dumped next to rivers and
13:52
ends up in the ocean it's absolutely nuts but we're still doing it why number five apply the
14:01
constitution to limit the government debt at both the federal and the state level
14:08
number six repeal the 2014 bail reform amendment that puts all these dangerous criminals out in the
14:16
street did you ever hear one Republican candidate support that you know I didn't maybe you did
14:27
uh use person number seven use persuasion to protect the unborn uh no more tax dollars to
14:35
promote uh and fund planned parenthood propaganda in our colleges and high schools
14:42
number eight rethink public education if our federal not our federal five state income tax
14:50
is mostly going to public schools and paying about ten to twelve thousand dollars a year
14:58
uh for these public schools that are turning our kids into brainwashed illiterates
15:05
not to mention uh you know the problems with the uh you know the the the sexual nonsense they're
15:12
teaching these kids uh why can't parents use that money to pick their own private school
15:20
for their kids that's number eight number nine protect the public from the homeless
15:27
restrict the freedom of those to deny clean and safe park sidewalks and other taxpayer-funded
15:33
public spaces for us that's number nine number ten equally distribute the uh property tax
15:42
relief funds to all towns right now eighty percent of it is going into democrat strongholds
15:50
and that's why property taxes are so high in republican suburbs and then we finally we have uh
15:58
the uh constitutional convention uh there are some people who think that america would be
16:04
better off if we amend our constitution uh we think that's a very bad idea the problem is we
16:11
need to enforce the constitution we already have so those are twelve uh simple programs that liberty
16:20
and prosperity has endorsed what astounds me is that i have not seen one mainstream republican candidate
16:31
in New Jersey other than maybe you know Jeff van Drew and uh in sheriff of donahue support any of
16:38
those programs so i think that what we need to do is to approach republicans well if if you could
16:48
persuade any democrat to agree to this uh let's try but i would say lots of luck i think most are
16:55
too far gone but the republicans say they represent us that they're defending us against the
17:01
democrats but if that's true why hasn't a single republican other than Jeff van Drew uh and i'd say
17:11
sheriff of donahue and to some extent joe joralo outside those three have uh you heard any
17:17
republicans uh endorse programs like that so if republicans don't do it how do you get them to change
17:26
well the first step is to become active in a political party uh not a third party but one of the
17:33
parties we have now republicans and democrats our slogan is do more than vote
