No: Det var en grå høstdag på Lofoten.
En: It was a gray autumn day in Lofoten.
No: Fjellene stod høyt og mektig, mens bølgene slo mot stranden.
En: The mountains stood tall and majestic, while the waves crashed against the shore.
No: Lars, Ingrid og Sofie hadde endelig kommet hit, langt fra hverdagslivets mas.

No: Lars håpet denne turen ville bringe familien nærmere.
En: Lars hoped this trip would bring the family closer together.

No: Jeg vil ikke bli våt.
En: I don't want to get wet."
No: ""Litt regn skader ingen," sa Lars med et smil.
En: "A little rain won't hurt anyone," Lars said with a smile.
No: "Kom igjen, det blir gøy!
En: "Come on, it'll be fun!"
No: "Motvillig gikk de alle ut.
En: Reluctantly, they all went out.
No: Fjellstien var bratt, og regnet gjorde det sleipt.
En: The mountain path was steep, and the rain made it slippery.
No: Sofie gikk motvillig bak dem, med hette på.
En: Sofie trudged reluctantly behind them, with her hood up.
No: Da de nådde høyden, slo en plutselig storm inn.
En: When they reached the height, a sudden storm hit.
No: Vinden rev i klærne deres, og regnet ble til piskende stikk.

En: "It's not so bad here."
No: "De lo litt sammen, nærmest av lettelse.
En: They laughed a little together, almost out of relief.
No: Lars satte seg nærmere dem.
En: Lars sat closer to them.
No: "Jeg er lei for at jeg presser oss," sa han lavt.
En: "I'm sorry for pushing us," he said softly.
No: "Du vil vel bare at vi skal være sammen," sa Ingrid mykt og tok hånden hans.
En: "You just want us to be together," Ingrid said gently and took his hand.
No: "Jeg forstår nå," sa Sofie.
En: "I understand now," Sofie said.
No: "Dere vil bare ha tid med meg.
En: "You just want time with me.
No: Det er jeg glad for.
En: I’m glad for that."
No: "Stormen utenfor roet seg etter hvert.
En: The storm outside calmed eventually.
No: Familien satt sammen i hytta, stille men forenet.
En: The family sat together in the cabin, silent but united.
No: Regnet sluttet, og solen brøt frem mellom skyene.
En: The rain stopped, and the sun broke through the clouds.
No: Da de gikk tilbake, føltes stien enklere.
