Firebombed Synagogue Ambulances: Antisemitic Attack in London

On March 23rd, four Jewish community ambulances were fire-bombed outside a synagogue in

Golders Green, North London, early Monday morning.

A group calling itself the Islamic movement of the companions of the right claimed responsibility

online, posting video of the burning vehicles with, their local overlaid.

The attack is being viewed as anti-Semitic, with no injuries reported despite explosions

from oxygen canisters shattering nearby windows.

CCTV captured three-hooded suspects pouring an accelerant on the part Hazzola vehicles

around 145 a.m. before fleeing as flames took hold.

The group, which emerged just weeks ago, shares tactics and symbols with Iranian proxy networks

like the Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah.

According to experts, their telegram posts warn against ties to American and Zionist

interests.

Leaders from across the political spectrum condemn the incident as a despicable act of hate.

The Prime Minister said anti-Semitism has no place in society, while the head of the

campaign against anti-Semitism called it heartbreaking.

Health Secretary Westreeding visited the scene and promised replacement ambulances by

Tuesday morning at the latest.

Police are now hunting the three suspects, with counterterrorism specialists leading the

probe, though it's not yet classified as terrorism.

Their prioritizing verification of the group's claim amid a pattern of similar strikes at

Jewish sites in Belgium, Greece, and the Netherlands over.

The past few weeks, authorities across Europe are on alert for more activity from these alleged

Iranian-backed cells, especially after recent strikes on Iran.
