The Calgary Flames picked up a solid 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers at the Saddle
Dome last night.
Flames jumped out early with two first-period goals, starting with Joel Fairby's tally
off a scramble in front, set up by Walker Coleman, then Emile.
Olalsen ripped one home after Adam Klappka took a puck to the head, but kept battling to
make the assist.
Panthers fans held their breath as Carter Greer cut the lead to 2-1 in the third with
his 13th goal of the season, beating Flames' goalie.
Anthony Wool offered deflection, but Calgary sealed it on the power play, first with Morgan
Frost cleaning up a rebound from Zayn Perrek's shot during a 5-on-3, then Coronato.
Blasting one pass Panthers' netminder, Sergei Babrovsky, after a sharp defensive play
by Frost.
Flames improved their home record while showing poise under pressure, setting up nicely
for the stretch run.
