Hi, this is Alex Cantrowitz. I'm the host of Big Technology podcast, a long time reporter and an
on air contributor to CNBC. And if you're like me, you're trying to figure out how artificial
intelligence is changing the business world and our lives. So each week on Big Technology,
I bring on key actors from companies building AI tech and outsiders trying to influence it.
Asking where this is all going, they come from places like Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon,
and plenty more. So if you want to be smart with your wallet, your career choices,
and meetings with your colleagues and at dinner parties, listen to Big Technology podcast
wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Josh Speagle. Host of the podcast,
Lunatic in the newsroom. If you enjoy journalism that drifts into my old panic,
wild overthinking and a guaranteed nervous breakdown, Lunatic in the newsroom is for you.
It's news like you've never heard before. The only newsroom with a panic button,
you'll laugh, you'll cry and gasp and horror as the show spirals completely out of control.
It's not just news. It's emotionally unstable. Lunatic in the newsroom. Listen today.
You got a couple of Fox News headlines this morning. It is the first day of spring. And
Rita's is celebrating the first day of spring by giving away a free six ounce Italian ice today.
They're also rolling out a mystery peeps flavor. Guess it right. And you could win
free treats for a year. Um, Rita's. What's Rita's? Rita's water ice. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Peacoolito. Rita's speaking of peeps. I know that you've mentioned that you've bought
some like random flavored peeps from Kroger. And I saw it some the other day. Yeah. I was like,
who's buying these? And then I thought of you. Oh my god. I don't want Dr. Pepper peeps.
I think I just want the yellow ones that taste like peeps. Yeah, that's all or the pink bunnies.
Oh, the pink bunnies are good. No, it's kind of good in a pinch. You throw a peep in
your hot cup of coffee. That's fun. That's fun. Yeah. Hey, you are doing some right.
Oh, Marshall. You want to bring some peeps in on Monday. We'll see how many we can put in our
mouths and let's say choppy bunnies. Yeah, yeah, I'll do that. Well, I'll win. Real. You think?
Over you. Yeah, I can. How many peeps you can pretty good. Yeah. All right. Well, I'm looking
forward to this. I don't want to brag. That's what makes them stand there.
What should you do on the show today? Stuffed much marshmallows in our mouths.
Here's what's great about Jay show. While some shows are breaking down the brackets and talking
about who's winning money in basketball. They're shoving peeps in their mouths.
Oh, man. Good lord. Costco's giant Easter bunny. Costco's selling a 10 pound chocolate bunnie
named Pete over a foot tall and packed with two with 22,000 calories. They suggested a way to
eat it, wrap it in a towel, grab a hammer. He's solid. I'm gonna get it. I'm gonna get it for
the show in here. That's just a stick. No one needs like, I don't know. When I've gotten those
like solid big bunny heads, if they're solid, they last a long time. They last a really long time.
They're really hard to eat. I'm not a fan. I'm trying to figure out how much it costs though.
Oh, it's gonna be a lot. Oh, it's $112. Oh, wow. Is it Palmer brand? No. Oh, is it? Maybe it is.
No. Anyway, look at it. Look at this thing. Wow. Oh, yeah, that's huge. Oh, it has white chocolate
and I love chocolate. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow because tomorrow is a bulk shopping day in my family.
If we all three eat it, it probably will not be gone by next Easter. Oh, you know what I'm saying?
That's a lot. What did we have in here for the longest? Oh, the imagine popcorn. Never like
Allison. When there was nothing about crumbs left, I threw it out. She's like, what happened to
the bag of a man? That was good. Yeah, can they bring some more popcorn to us?
Nick. Appreciate that. Hey, Nick. Nick. Popcorn drop off. Popcorn drop. Monday. We don't care about
the stupid buckets. Give us give us give us the bag. Right. Full bag. What else do we have today?
Oh, the people mover. This is important. Detroit's people mover is temporarily shut down after high
winds blew debris onto the tracks. City leaders are now exploring future expansion, including
possible connections to Corktown, Midtown and Eastern Market. I like that idea. How great would
it be if the people mover went from, you know, the rent send to the I heart building. Yeah, no,
that's what we need is a people mover stop. Yeah, that'd be fun. That would be because I mean,
doesn't the people mover just go like, hmm, bruh, bruh, bruh, bruh, bruh, bruh, bruh. Yeah,
we wouldn't have to do for anyone. It's like the people mover at Disney. It's just like, wait,
this is the ride. Finally, a new initiative will add more street lights to underlit neighborhoods
to improve safety and to trade the plant targets areas with large gaps between existing lights,
especially on the east side. So there you go, more lights in the city. Well, that should have
happened forever ago. Hey, let's get on that. That, um, that grobals, that grobals the club. Yeah.
So I noticed yesterday at Eastern Market downtown of the I heart radio building, I noticed that
across the street, there was this big sign out front and it was like pointing inside and it was
like hot and delicious or something. Yeah, they have like it to go. Still like all the time,
or is that sign just out there? No, I think all the time. They've got two things. They've got
what they're doing the factory and then they got a little sandwich place, right? They started the
pop up, um, I think last year, like around three, one, three day, what day was that open every day?
Cause I would have gotten a little sandwich. Every time I'm down there, it's, you see the sign,
or you see, you smell it and you're like, I don't see the sign. I see the actual where you go
in the guy. We know that guy. We know that guy too. And we're going to be down there on Tuesday.
So maybe, maybe we do a little pop up in there, technically, I don't eat corn beef.
I know you don't, but do you like it? Uh, I would eat for the show, a Rubin. Okay. So you'd help us
out. Sure. I would do that for you. All right. I think we do that. I think, yeah, I think we
walk across Shrieger at sandwich. Yeah. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Victory Lane? Yeah.
