Couple Fox two news headlines this morning, siren sounding across Michigan yesterday were
part of a statewide tornado drill for severe weather, severe weather awareness. And emergency
teams say it's a reminder to take warning seriously and be ready to act quickly when severe
weather hits. I'm always the, are we in the basement person? Whenever I hear siren,
or I see the alert, when I see tornado warning, I make the calls, are we headed to the basement?
Grab mother, bring her down to the basement. You do need to have those talks in our house.
It's the laundry room. Is that on the lower floor? It is. It's on the lower floor. Yeah.
Now mine's the basement too, but I'm really going to. Yeah, your basement's scary and it is
a dirt basement. And that's at my parents house. My, my basement's not scary. I'm just not going
down there when there's TV to be watched. That's the thing I'm going to roll. That's really a bad
message to put out on the radio, isn't it? Listen, if it was green outside and the tornado
siren was going off, yes, I would step in my basement. But if I can hear it from like seven
miles away and I feel like it's in like the howl area, I don't know if I'm going to take it
as seriously. Yeah, I'm not, I'm not hauling four cats down to the laundry room, so we're
going to roll the dice upstairs. Do I need to call Helen Hunt and ask her to come in and have
a couple words with the two of you? Could you? Helen, Helen, keep probably can. When I see a cow
fly by my balcony. Yeah, I will go down to the one room. There's another cow. I think that's
the same cow. Oh, I thought it was really nice. So every Wednesday, I go to an elementary school
and I help a couple kids read and the teacher had emailed me ahead of time and was like, hey,
if you want to come at 110 today, we've got a tornado drill or whatever I'm when I saw her. She's
like, I figured you probably don't want to be sitting on the floor with all the kids. So I thought
that was nice that she thought about my time and I wonder what kids do during a tornado drill?
A fire drill, you exit the building. The tornado drill, you have to sit like in front of the locker,
like with your head down, I believe. Okay. Okay. Hey, I wanted to say this really quick.
My friend Jonathan Harris is an artist and he did this coloring book. I think that's so cute. Yeah,
let me just do this really good. Anyway, he did this coloring book and I had him on Fox two a
couple of days ago. It came out on 313 day, but he is well known around the world for doing these
like amazing paintings and stuff and like he has been on national television and all this stuff.
And then he got really sick was in the hospital for like a year. Oh my gosh.
Dealing with stuff. And in that time, he did this coloring book called It's Okay. And the messaging
in the book, like I actually in all the things I do on TV and radio about books and things and
authors, like I have received more, honestly, more messages about this asking where to get it.
And it's on Amazon. Okay. But it's called it's called it's okay. A coloring book about life
lessons and discovering it's okay to be you. And you know, the pictures are really good. And you
have one picture that you can write little notes and stuff, but like it's okay. If you don't have
a parent who can always be there, you're still worthy of loving care. Oh, you know, it's okay.
If you don't have the meal you want having a meal is a blessing. That's really nice.
It's okay to walk away from a fight, leaving doesn't make you weak or less of a man.
You know, yeah, no, that's good. It's okay to say no to drugs, which of course we've known that
for like a long time. It's okay to say no if your friends choose to steal, you don't have to follow
them. Do the right thing. And they're basically lessons that he learned as a kid.
There was one I really like to because you know, we're all a little bit different. It's okay to be
introverted. If that's what makes you happy. Is he like the people in the office in the background
or the yak, yak or one of those persons doing their work. I just thought very rarely do I see
books like this, this kind of blunt messaging. That's like, yeah, it's okay. That would be a good
thing for schools to have for their first grade. Well, yeah, I wanted like, you know, I'm supposed
to read next week and I wanted to read this and like, but it's a coloring book. And I don't know,
can I read a coloring book? You just did. No, but he just did. I know, but that's Chelsea's very old.
Get it pictures and a turn in the collar and then read in the hole. I mean, you can. I guess if
you want to, but I just don't, I think you got to read like a book book. Why not everybody poops.
That's always a favorite. I don't know. I think they're older. Yeah. Oh,
got me to bring in that mistake book that I, I take out to my schools. Is that what you read
at him? This book is a mistake or something. Oh, I thought it was this career was a mistake.
Oh, well, that's the book she's working on. That's the Chelsea Kibble story. That's the sequel.
You'll find that book right next to the Allyson Experience, like from the air.
I'll blow this whole place up.
