So right before I had my kid, I asked my mom what she used to feed me.
And she goes, oh, Gerber.
That was my go to.
And I was like Gerber.
And she's like, yeah, it's safe, nutritious, tried and true.
You loved it.
And it made my life easier.
So I went down the rabbit hole.
Times are different.
There are so many choices out there now, right?

This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with IHR radio.
Welcome back to the almost famous podcast.
And today is an extra special episode of Frankie Friday because it's Ashley's birthday.
Happy birthday, Ashley.
Happy birthday.
Yes.
Frankie, Friday falls on my birthday.
Thank you so very much.
Let's celebrate you.
How are you celebrating?
I won.
I think I've never had a birthday.
I'm not sure.
Maybe as hard as this one's hitting me.
I don't know.
I think that 38 is like undeniably upper 30s.
And it'll be just a blink of an eye until I'm 40.
And I realize that like all the things that I can still pass as being like cute.
Like me and like my fangirl self.
Maybe I could pass that off at 40, but like mid four, like what?
Like how am I supposed to I was supposed to fangirl at 40?
Or I'm just kind of scared that like everything's going to come through adulthood.
I don't know.
You didn't feel that way when you had two kids?
No.
Because I realized that I've been able to still indulge in the things that I love.
Ashley, you're going to be able to.
Just be childlike still with my children.
And I'm just like, oh my god, I'm going to be 40 before I die.
40 before you know it.
And like, is that cute anymore?
I have a friend who is 40 in a grandmother.
What?
That's Emily Maynard.
Like Emily Maynard's 39 in a grandma.
See, you could be that.
Ashley, the truth of this is I actually think it gets better with age.
Because you get more confident in your fangirled them.
And all the people your fangirling over are like older than you or about the same age.
That is what I'm so grateful for.
So I was with Carly and Jade this week.
And we were like talking about who we're big fans of or like who are celebrity crushes
aren't all that.
And they were like, well, at least everybody is of your age or older.
It's not like you're just like trying to go to a...
Yeah.
If you were like telling me, I'm going to have to stop going out until 2 a.m.
I'd be like, hey, yeah, that's probably smart, Ashley.
I don't know still how you do that at your age.
But your life...
Mine is kind of all age appropriate.
Because everything is very millennial oriented.
I'm not going after Gen Z heroes.
No, you're great.
I feel like you should fly into this.
And here's the cool part.
Is your...
When you put on clothes,
you're...
What?
Well, you show up to this sometimes in like a t-shirt.
Yeah, pajamas, you mean?
Same here.
This was no judgment.
When you're like your fashion sense and all those things,
they will still be rocked at 40 and people are going to be like,
I like the way she looks because she's going to...
You're going to keep it a little younger than some.
You're going to keep it together at 40 and people are like,
I want to look like Ashley when I'm 40.
Yeah, like I'm not saying that like my look is going to reflect
and they still have two more years.
And 40, to me, is like when I see who's 40 these days,
I don't think like, oh my gosh, that person looks old,
that person feels old.
Like I don't even think 40 sounds old, really.
But for some reason, I think it's because like,
I remember my mom's 40th birthday.
Yeah.
Like I remember exactly what we did.
Same.
And like, you know, so when now you're becoming the age
that you have memories of of your parents,
it's just super duper weird.
Yeah, I agree with that.
I still remember that.
That is...
I'm not far behind.
What do you want for your birthday?
Well, I had a fantastic birthday.
I went to New York for two days with Jade and Carly.
And we had the greatest time.
All I've ever really wanted to do.
Like when people say like, why do you love New York?
And like, well, really what I love about it is just going to dinner and a show.
So we went to the three shows in just a little over 24 hours.
That was...
I've never done that before.
It was amazing.
And just being able to spend girls' time with them,
we had like a sleepover, you know, for two nights in a row.
And seeing those shows is just truly the best birthday party,
a birthday party, birthday gift that I could give myself.
I don't have anything else on the docket,
but that's usually what I like to have.
Like some sort of show, concert, like a little mini trip from a birthday.
And that's perfect.
And so will you celebrate with the family then on like this weekend
or are you celebrating today since it is your birthday?
So today is trivia night at Audrey.
So Jared has to work.
But Jared did say vaguely.
It was like, so do you have any plans for the weekend?
And I'm like, no.
So my assumption is that he has a little something planned.
It could truly just be like dinner and like he got babysitter,
which is also very nice.
But I think that he might have a little something.
But yeah, the actual day, I don't really have super plans.
I bet his Superman costume comes out.
Hey, let's dive into Frankie Friday.
Okay.
headline is this why Taylor Frankie Paul thinks she was gifted the bachelor at role.
Well, she said to E news that she was gifted this for another chapter of her life.
She said she's been criticized and judged and rejected.
But anyone that takes the time to know me will see that I'm actually a genuine person.
And I mean well, and I'm a person that deserves another chance at love.
So she says that this is new to her.
She's the first person.
She's actually ricks a good point here.
She's actually the first woman to be the bachelor at but not come from the franchise.
We've had that with bachelor's before, but not bachelor at.
And she says that she really admires all the women that stood before her.
But what I would like to, she says it's a gift.
And if we go to our, if you go to one of our headlines further down or her,
Mormon wives, castmates are talking about her.
They also kind of describe this as a gift to her as well.
In life, breakdowns and breakups are inevitable.
You know, it's the same with appliances and home systems.
Breakdowns are going to happen and those breakdowns can be costly.
However, you can help protect your budget with an American home shield home warranty.
AHS offers plans that cover parts of the kitchen and laundry appliances,
HVAC plumbing and electrical systems that will inevitably break down.
And when they do, AHS will fix the covered item and if they can't repair it, they'll replace it.
Even your oldest appliances and systems are eligible.
And that's huge because something like your AC,
that's just limping along could cost thousands to repair or replace without a home warranty.
Plus, with select American home shield plans,
you're going to get the added benefit of video chatting with live repair experts
to help with home hassles over the phone.
So leave the drama for relationships and get help protecting appliances and home systems

A random Tuesday at Gerber?
100 plus quality checks.
They don't mess around with our kids' safety.
When the questions and doubts start to swirl,
I can just grab that pouch of Gerber and know that what's inside has already passed
some seriously stringent scrutiny.
Gerber goes above and beyond,
regularly testing for over 500 toxins and contaminants.
So your baby can eat nutritious food that you don't have to worry about.
And you thought your kid was picky?
Gerber sources top produce, including family run farms,
so they can be extremely picky about what ingredients they select.
So get this. Gerber actually has a director of quality.
It's literally his job to make sure that what we're feeding our babies
meets or even exceeds every high standard that Gerber sets.
The man is dedicated.
Here's something amazing.
There are some families who have worked with or for Gerber for six generations now.
I don't know if when he's going to fall in my footsteps.
But that definitely shows how proud they are of what they do.
I've learned so much about the different stages of feeding through Gerber.
At every stage, I get the support I need and my kid gets the nutrition she needs.
It's like it was made to set parents up for success.
I'm all for convenience, but when it comes to feeding my kid,
nothing is more important than keeping her safe and healthy.
Gerber is that sweet spot between quality, expertise and ease.
When in doubt, know that no other baby food brand
has as many clean label project certifications than Gerber does.

That actually leads us into our next headline where her castmates, Macy and Michaela
were talking about her being crowned the bachelor at.
But they actually say that they don't think she was in a good place.
Mentally emotional to be the bachelor at.
But she said that they said something along the lines of.
She didn't like doesn't love herself enough at this point.
They said that her relationship is still kind of like freshly broken
and that Dakota still so interwoven in her life.
But then they also say that this is like an interlittle words a gift to her
because it broke the cycle of toxicity that she had going on with Dakota.
So like she almost had to like physically remove herself like from the state
and not see him for a certain amount of time to you know start fresh.
I really hope he doesn't show up.
I feel like they may not have him show up.
Okay good.
Yeah I was like I thought yes now I think maybe no.
Maybe they know it's not good for her mental health and they actually don't want to ruin it.
Exactly. I just don't I don't think it's healthy for anybody involved
or would make that great a television because it would just make people mad
that he's back there when she's trying to pursue one of their you know favorites.
And actually he did say on a podcast that wasn't on it.
So hopefully that's true.
Secret lives of Mormon, wife, star reveals why Taylor Frankie Paul's trauma
may block bachelor at love.
Actually I'll say this from everything that let's just pause here.
Can we pause here?
Yeah.
We've talked about Taylor Frankie Paul a lot now which has been great.
It's been a great thing.
Frankie Fridays have been fun.
We've gotten to know her better.
After the headlines, her captions, her interviews, the things we've spoken about.
Was do you think she finds love during this?
Like do you think she's hinting at that?
Honestly not really.
I don't really think so.
Okay.
I don't know.
I don't have a great feeling.
I think that it might be one of those seasons that's celebrated because
she takes another great step in life.
Build confidence, maturity, does break her away from seeing Dakota as her partner.
Yeah.
I don't know.
She's going to have like a traditional happily ever after.
It could be why she's been processing so much.
Yeah.
She seems too stressed to be truly in butterfly stage of love.
I agree.
Tasha Adams.
Now the judge co-host.
I don't know what they're calling themselves on the HTV show reveals the advice she gave
new bachelor at star Taylor Frankie Paul.
I like this advice that Tasha gave.
She said, I've told her you can't look at any of us for advice really because it's
all your own journey.
She said that I don't want her to copy any of us in any way, shape or form.
Just give it all, be in the moment, fall in love and do your thing.
She said I feel like she's really going to shake everything up and it's going to be exactly
what the franchise really needed.
I agree with everything Tasha says there.
I agree with Tasha.
You got to make it your own.
But I do think some advice is warrantied when it comes to like, hey, here's how you can expect
things to operate and don't be shocked when you get pulled into a room.
That kind of stuff is helpful, but for the most part, we want these people being themselves.
You're very good at giving future bachelor advice.
You love it.
You should write a little manual.
A bachelor manual?
Yeah.
So you just give each guy a little pamphlet.
It hasn't happened in years.
Probably why the show is so downhill.
Exactly.
It's all my advice.
Before we go into the next highlight, I just want to say I forgot to mention one thing that
Macy and Michaela did say that I think was interesting.
The advice that they give her is to seek peace and not revenge.
And that success is the best form of revenge.
I agree with that.
You don't have to get specific revenge on someone.
But if you are successful, you'll feel very satisfied.
It's biblical, right?
Yeah.
It is.
You don't necessarily look for vengeance.
You just crush them with love and kindness.
Yeah.
It's like burning coals being dumped over their head, love, because they're just like,
I can't get out of this.
This person's too great.
It's the truth.
Yeah.
Nothing else is bad to say about them.
They're crushing it.
No, no.
Final headline is something that changes season on the secret lives of Mormon wives.
The upcoming season, yeah.
The upcoming season.
I don't know if you saw this.
Listeners, if you're a fan of the show.
But the headline it reads, the secret lives of Mormon wives, stars are now executive producers.
So we don't 100% know what this means.
Sometimes it's truly just a title, just a credit.
I feel like our producer Heather would know more as she is in casting.
For some reason, I feel like this is just a title for these girls because I don't know
that Hulu wants them in the editing room having control of the storylines.
I just don't know because I think that they're going to try to eliminate some dramas, right?
Now like the Kardashians are executive producers on their Hulu show and like they actually
do make decisions.
Kim has talked about how sometimes Chris and Courtney will be like, oh my God, we cannot
put that in there.
And Kim is like, we are absolutely putting that fight in there.
I just don't know that with a show when it's not a family oriented reality show that it's
going to work out if you give them editing control.
I do want to mention before we get Heather on for her two cents that because the show has
been such a success so quickly, it got an Emmy nomination, it did lose to Netflix's
love on the spectrum.
But because it has been such a huge hit, sometimes they'll renegotiate contracts, give titles
like this, give more money before the actual like the contract is up.
Like perhaps they signed for five seasons, but now at four seasons they're going to give
the girls a little boost just to say, thank you.
Heather.
Ashley, you're a pro, you don't even need me to jump in on this one because everything
you just said was what I would say, which is I do think it's more of a vanity credit
than anything else.
And I do think it also correlates with a bump in pay.
And yes, you're not going to let the talent on a show like this where also their name
is not in the title, right?
I think that's a huge defining difference between Kardashians and secret lives is that
is actually their family name in the title that is their brand secret lives of Mormon
wives is a brand that is owned by Hulu and they have the ability to change the talent.
And that is also probably something that they will not have the ability to do as executive
producers is like fire their cast mates.
Oh, and we're getting a note here too.
If they are EPs, they are award worthy.
Yes, so that is another reason so that they can win some sort of validation.
If they are nominated again, but I think we're also seeing this happen in season four for
a reason.
And that's because usually between seasons three and four of hit shows is when you said
contracts get that renegotiation.
And that's where you actually start to see the real money when being on reality TV.
They're trying to get the girls happy too, like they want them to stick around for a hundred
percent.
That will keep you on board.
If I say I'm going to also make you an executive producer, yes, that is going to get somebody
to resign a contract.
So there's also some speculation that Demi is not a main cast member of this season that
she's more of a friend of and she is not listed as an EP.
She got the axe.
No, she's appearing on the show.
We know that because she's in the trailer, but yeah, it looks like that also might have
been maybe a carrot being dangled for the other girls of, hey, you know, how about we make
you guys EPs if you sign on since she's still kind of playing hardball.
Maybe that was the case where they were like, we're not going to offer it to her, but only
to you guys.
So could be one of the reasons and something that they used as negotiation.
I love it.
I think it says at the bottom of that article, exactly how many EPs there are of this show
now.
It's a lot.
And the same thing if you watch Kardashians, the list of EP credits that rolled the beginning
of the show are very long.
Does it take away from the EP credit?
I think that I think it gives the talent.
It helps the talent in the title that they need so that when they eventually break off
and do other things later on in their career, which they're all bound to do, it gives
them the opportunity to EP their own shows in the future and put their name behind something
because they've already got this kind of check box already.
I don't think it diminishes the other producers.
No.
All right, Heather, well, thanks for your input there.
Ben, this is a good time.
I'm having a good time with the, with the analyzation of this show and how it will be merging
with the Bachelor app.
