This dog, now known as Kingston, was discovered in a dumpster in Durham and has since found a new home. He was adopted this past Saturday from the Animal Protection Society of Durham. The APS of Durham reports that Kingston has been undergo in treatment for a skin infection. Thankfully, he's already showing signs of improvement with the care he's receiving. He'll continue his recovery process in his new loving environment. This is a much better situation than being left in a dumpster. Meanwhile, Durham County Animal Services is actively working to identify someone seen on surveillance footage near the dumpster around the time. Kingston was found. They're hoping to gather more information. It's a positive turn of events for Kingston, going from a dumpster to a forever home.
