Hi, everybody. Welcome to J-Towers in the morning on 100.3 W and I see we got a lot going on today on the show. With all the normal stuff we do, like our Thursday, crazy lines. Crazy lines. I always want to say cross-examine. I don't want to do that on Tuesday. They both start with a CR. That's true. Also, Allison and Chelsea are going to join me on Fox 2 today and we're on Fox Local every day. But I'm saying they're going to join me on the newscast this morning to talk about savvy sliders which launched last night. Oh, that's so exciting. We're also going to do some news while we're there. There'll be some weather. We'll see about that. Traffic. We'll see. We're going to be on the cooking set. We're going to be on the cooking set. Oh, man.
We can't start any trouble. They bring the big spread though. Are they really? They spread to that. A request was asked of me. What was that? If there are any savvy sliders left after your segment, feel free to bring some home. Really? Oh, because Warren works at different time than you now. Yeah, Warren comes home when I'm leaving. Oh, going to be some sweet sounds coming down on the night shift. On the night shift. All right, very good. Should we change the calendar from 12 months to five? Here's another crazy thing that's being proposed. That's insane. That's insane. Insan. I can't even, I can't even fathom it. We'll talk about it. Also, because we're getting into Labor Day weekend and the final official, not the unofficial kind of end of summer. It's the unofficial. Yeah. What does every state grill and what do we grill the most? Oh, that'll be fun. That will be fun. All that and more this morning. Jake Towers in the morning on demand. Here's the Hollywood Minute with Chelsea. Fans of the movie clue are asking Paramount to release an alternate ending that was never
used where Tim Curry's butler character was the killer. Now, he passed away and fans just think that that would be a nice tribute to him. We do know his cause of death now was revealed as a coronary artery disease. That means, yeah, we have blockages. If caught in advance, you can stent those up. Yeah, a lot of health problems too though. I'm sure they've started stacking up. Hey, can I just throw this out there as long as we're doing alternate endings? Yeah. I never saw the movie clue, but I know this from doing research. Pretty in pink cat an alternate ending where she doesn't wind up with Andrew McCarthy. Really? Yeah, she winds up with Ducky. That's what audiences hate it. They must have. Well, the test audiences did. Yeah. We never saw, but test audiences did. The second season of the Yellowstone Spinoff Marshall is going to be premiering on October 4th, the trailer for that dropped yesterday. I did watch like an episode of that.
I like Luke Grimes and he's in it. So I'll go back. Do you like Grimes who used to be with Elon Musk? Oh, yeah. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Travis Kelsey opening up about his wedding sharing details on this season 5 premiere of the New Heights podcast. He said that the ceremony was an unforgettable experience and being Taylor thankful for everybody that showed up. He called the entire evening magical and really thanked MSG for the care that they gave. They kind of fall off the, you know, that wedding happened, all that planning and like, have we seen much about them since? No, but that's good. Yeah. We don't want them in our face all the time, but is the podcast called New Heights or the Heights? New Heights. Oh, okay, then never mind. The Hays, how did you talk to an angel? That's what I was going to say. That needs to be their theme song. Jamie Waters. Tiger Woods lost his driver's license for five years after striking a last minute plea deal in his Florida DUI case. Now the judge also handed down a $1,000 fine for the first charge and a $500 fine for
the second along with that five year driving ban. Now a state attorney was asked if that includes golf carts. He did not have an answer. It could vary by state. Each state has a different rule for what like a motor vehicle is. Golf carts on a golf course. The judge was very like you are not driving a motorized vehicle. I hope he has enough money for Uber. This is what I was going to say. And we say this all the time every time a celebrity has a DUI. But honestly, if I even get a quarter of Tiger Woods money, I will never drive myself by any way. Never drive me everywhere. Never. He drives me everywhere. And finally, Dancing with the Stars is officially back this month kicking off season 35 with a two night premiere starting on September 15th. They did reveal who is paired up with who Tyler Cameron from the Vatchelarette. He is with Sharna Burgess, celebrity chef, Giada. She is partner. Oh, Giada. Yes, she is with Alan Bert Burston. Jenna Duwan is with Val and Taylor Hanson from Hanson.
Oh, nice. It's Hanson is that right to her middle, little, middle, middle. What do we love about Giada? She spits out the food. No, for Tata. No, for Tata's from Vegas. Oh, that's right. Yes, yes. Yeah, TV tonight, Jopper Dean Astors. First days on our show, we do something called crazy lines. We go around the room and tell you something about ourselves to make us crazy. You're not right in the head. And you're always welcome to let us know if there's anything that makes you crazy as well. And thank you for listening, by the way. We get a lot of comments about this segment, which we kind of took away for a little while. Because we thought, ah, we've probably run out of crazy. And we haven't. No, not really. No. So, I'll go first. It's simple. What did we always learn in life when you've got a lot to do when you're trying to do it all at once? Sometimes you make two trips, right? Hey, it's literally like big two trips. What are you doing? You're going to drive yourself crazy. Just make two trips. Why can't I make two trips? I won't do it. I'm coming here in the morning and I'm trying to hold my lunch, my bag, two gallons of
water for the coffee machine. Use my pass, hold a loose computer. I drop up my phone like why? I won't take two trips. That is so funny. And I wouldn't do that much more time. That is so funny. I have to tell Warren all the time when I know we've got a lot of stuff to carry. Yeah. Because I know in advance. Take two trips. That move will be attempted too. Well, yeah, no, I mean, I get it. When I'm unloading my groceries, I'm loading up my arms with bags because I want everything in one trip. I do not want to have to make separate trips. All right. So am I crazy? Of course, Sam. Allison, you're up. This is, so sometimes we do crazy lines. I'm usually comfortable with all of it. Like I don't feel like I should change that. You know what I mean? But this I probably should change. Once I'm home, whenever, at whatever time, I'm not going back out. I'm not. My everything's off. I mean, sometimes I get home and I realize I needed something.
Because it's not even for me. Like, maybe I don't have something that was for me, I was going to make. Or the cats need something. Yeah. And yesterday I got home and I realized I should have got potty pads at the store for the cat. And I did everything I could to not leave. I was pounding Jill. I was like, I will door dash that. I was like, just, it's three o'clock. Just go run back. Come hell or I will not leave it. I will not leave the house once I'm back in. Crazy. If I were a pilot and there was an unruly passenger in emergency, you're not landing the plane until you get there. I don't. I'm making two trips. I'm a forward moving person. That's right. I don't zigzag. Chelsea. Okay, so Alison has commented on my parking several times and how bad it is. Like I don't know why I can't stay in the line. So there was a point that I then switched my parking spot so she couldn't see how bad my park job was. Well now I'm back in my original spot. And every day I pull in and am confident I am in the lines.
I am confident and every day I get out and I'm not. And it's a terrible park job and I look at it and go, while that was worse than yesterday, I don't move it. I just walk right inside. Someone else is a problem. Two times. And I said it joking. I was like, man, you sure just you have no, you have no concern about those lines at all. Do you know? And she took her car and she moved it to the other side. She was like, you won't see what I do anymore. Her spite was like where they were. It was one day spite. It was about a week. You did it for a week? She did it for a while. Yeah. Oh my god. None of us should care about what any of us say. There's nothing. There's nothing. You're due to her going to say to me, it's going to be a change. I don't think. All right. Now I'm going to overthink. All right. One at a point three, that's how crazy lines works. I will tell you after yesterday's workout session, I feel. What's land in? With land in brown. I feel fine. I feel fine today. But he's telling me that tomorrow is going to be a bad day for me.
It takes two days. There we are. It takes two. At the planet fitness. Look at you guys. Working it out. So I know you want to spend time with land in. Yeah. He's cool. Very cool. Cool stories. Yeah. That's separate. That's over here. Yeah. Over here. Do you regret getting yourself involved in this? Because it sounds like it's a thing now that someone's going to make you keep doing. No. I just remember this from our last time doing training. I know. It's been a long time. I will tell you that. No. I do enjoy the fat. Like last weekend, I was in so much, I was so sore that I, like it, but it never brought me to the point of regret. I was like, you know what? This is how it should be. I'm working stuff. I haven't worked. I got to tell you, I'm not a fan of that kettlebell, but whatever. Did you got that? The only thing I was uncomfortable doing yesterday because it was leg day was I had to, you like, he has this bench and I sit down in front of the bench and he sits down in front of his bench on the floor. And then you like pop your whole body up and put your elbows on it.
Yeah. Really thrust your middle area up and down. I used to do that, which is really working your butt, your glutes. Yeah. I used to, yeah. And you're doing that. That's a floor exercise. I used to do that all the time back in my nanny days while they were napping. Yeah. I had my own little circuit that I did on the floor. Did you know? Seriously. I was tight. You have no idea. Well, and it doesn't just come naturally. You got to work at that. The issue with it is, is that it looks weird. It looks weird. It does look weird. It looks, and then you know, for you to do it properly, you're really thrusting upwards. And most of us aren't built to thrust upwards, but that's what you're doing. And you know, at one point, he said, listen, I'm not looking at you. So I'm like, could I just felt awkward? I think if you feel awkward, no, it's a good exercise. But he's great because he's like, you know, you know, you know why you're doing it. He's explained it to you. And then when you want to die, he makes you do two more. And that's what all trainers do. They always make you do two more when you feel good. No, they do. How long are these workouts? They're an hour. But yesterday, we worked out for an hour.
And then we cooled down on a treadmill. We talked, and then we talked for like a half hour. And so it was good. Like these are good. Do you want us to help get you out of this now? No, no, I'm actually, I actually really look forward to it for the duration of, I mean, this could be a gym rat now. I'm not going to be a gym rat. I'm going to say some people have trainers. And now it's a part of your life. Yeah, no. Okay. I'm more the part I'm not interested in so much that I have to do is like, I've got a download his app today. He gives me homework and I haven't done the homework. Like there's things to do and I'm not with him. Oh my God, I got a lot of homework in life. I don't know if I want to be doing homework when I'm not. I like these days to be the days that I'm done. Do you want to bring up that medicine ball through the sandbox thing? No, no, I don't want to do that. Are you sure? I really don't. I'm good. You're right. You're right. We're really proud of you. Seriously, for sure. No, that's huge. Thank you. He's got to come in one day and spend. I'd like him to be in here with the two of you and we can have some time. Get us in training. Oh no, I just mean just, you know, it's fine.
We're going to infiltrate his entire life. Next thing you know, we will be at those training sessions. Yeah, I'd like to see it. Heavy rain is causing problems in Detroit on the east side. Eastbound 94 at Graschit is blocked because of flooding. I'm not sure if that will be open by the time our show is over. I don't know if you're listening. I'm podcasting live. But crews have been working to clear the water and there's no word yet on when the freeway will reopen. But there are at the time we're doing our show this morning. So in the six to nine a.m. window that you may be listening live or whatever. If you're listening this afternoon, I can't help you. There are more than 70,000 DT customers without power. Outages are spread from Wayne, Oakland, Livingston, McComb and Santa Lack counties. So the DT crews are working it. Just rain or was there. It's so crazy. You don't have power. Yeah, and I actually woke up the more the second that it went out because my like ceiling fan in my bedroom was on and oh my gosh, it was really hot in my house. I finally had to go and like sleep on the couch because it was at least like a little bit
cooler out there. I'm sorry. You don't you don't have air conditioning. Not when the powers out. Oh, the power. The storms have already brought heavy rains, flooding and down trees to Metro Detroit. Worth thunderstorms remain possible. Today's is out in Longstreet. Strong storms could produce damaging winds and additional flash flooding. There you go. Feel good, shall we? We'll feel good on the day. And it's brought to you this morning. Hi, my name is Chevrolet. All right, a father and son of Glendale, Arizona have a nonprofit called the junkie garage where they help people repair their vehicles for whatever they can afford. Customers bring the parts needed for the job and donate what they can for the labor. The owner's name is Michael. He's worked alongside his 16 year old son Matthew for eight years. Michael said the most that most air conditioning repairs end up costing less than $300. He's compared to the thousands you spend at a traditional shop. Wow. That is seriously such a help when people are struggling financially and they're usually driving cars that are old and maybe used not the most reliable.
No, and car repairs come up and it can literally just level you. I mean, my car's in the shop right now. But when you got a year ago, less than a year ago. It was a year exactly because I drove in and a woman that works there. She's a listener and she saw me and she's like, it's the anniversary because it popped up on my on the timeline. Oh, no. But it's like, did you say, mm-hmm? Yeah. And here we are. Yeah, and I mean, it's just engine fault service now. And I'm like, oh, at least there's a warranty on the engine. But I have no other reason to feel good today. No, I'm saying I can relate. Like, and I've driven it expensive. Do you want to drive your car out to these guys? Yeah. Why don't we go? Wait, are they in Ohio? Arizona. Arizona. What a nice ride. I think it'll make it. We can find the flex and see if we can tell it. All right, because it could. It could. The flex could do it. It never gave up. It wasn't until it was really told it was. I gave up on it. It didn't give up. It never gave up on you. It never.
Exciting today because Allison and Chelsea are going to jump on Fox 2. I mean, we're on Fox local every day, but they're going to actually jump on the morning newscast because we kicked off Savvy Sliders partnership with J.S. Juniors. Alan Longstreet here today. Guys, you're bringing food? Yeah, there's going to be food. Yeah, there's bringing food. Yeah, I'm excited. You excited? Are you excited? Are you kidding me? Yeah. Do I get to be a part of this segment? You should. I hope so, but you know, I might go just on your next break, just weave in for shark any food. Because there's a lot. Yeah, there's a lot of, you know, there's only so much space. Right. And I know that, but the good thing is you're already might. Yeah, hard to find. And I just, I don't need to be a pie. I just want to linger. Yeah, I just want to be in the present. Oh, yeah, I smell the food. I smell the food. Yeah, well, no, it's not about that. It's about being in your gravitational orbit. Yeah, that's what I want. That's exciting. Yeah. I will, I will say I did put on my blazer this morning and then I thought that I looked maybe a little washed out. So I took it off. What are you going to do with the blanket around your shoulders now? I should. There's just no. Yeah, it should. It's so cold in here all the time.
I'm still wearing this. It's actually what you're wearing. Yeah. Oh, okay. Oh, I'm going to put makeup on before you. No, no, no, no. No, you look wonderful. This is just got out of bed. I have not started. Well, it's very early here. That's cross promotion if she does wear blanket. Yeah, that's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. Let's get into the real story. The real story is I was not paying attention this morning, zoned out staring straight ahead listening to my music on Greenfield and boom, it was the biggest puddle ever. Like holy cow, there's a lot of water out there for sure. But also can I ask a question? Did we determine throughout the years that he lightnings not a thing? Because I saw he lightning the whole way. All the drive. Yeah, you just saw lightning. It's not all lightning. It's just lightning. It's just lightning from a storm that you can't hear. Okay. That's all. So he's just far away. Yeah, it just means as far away that you can't hear the thunder. It's not like I've always been people have always said like heat lightning is this thing that doesn't have a storm attached to it. Yeah. That's wrong. Okay. You're looking at a storm what in Ohio?
Yeah, well, yeah, these ones were out over out out in Canada. But yeah, yeah, you see your head up to the east. Oh, okay. Yeah, I'm with that. So what's really annoying though is I'm without power, but like literally 50 feet, like a block over. Yeah, they've got it. Yeah, they cut your, yeah, they cut your cord. It's not the storms actually. It's just you. That's the neighborhood. It's your stay gratitude. Yeah, so freaking stop it. Finally, came back to hurt you. Yeah, no, it's tough. But we got more storms. I'd say they're likely late afternoon or evening and there could be some severe weather. So maybe how far ahead though? What's up? How far ahead? Like how many days of this? Oh, yeah. So late afternoon, then tonight that threat will be out there this weekend much better. Holiday weekend phenomenal Friday afternoon might be perfect. Certainly the weekend Saturday, Sunday, Monday, we're good. Bring me back in the day. Back in the day. That's the days brought to you by David Pemmanidio, get David, get paid what happened on this day in 1983, British pop duo The Aridmix. Reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 with sweet dreams are made of thee.
That was the song. That was the song. I mean, that song never went away. I hate that song. It just really has a lot of playing. That's so played. Yeah, it's a long time. 34 years ago in 1992, Prince became the highest paid rock star after signing a $100 million deal with Warner Brothers records that was $10 million per album. But he had to do 10 albums. Deserved. Yeah. Wait, was it 10 albums? 10 million in album, no. Yeah. 10 times 10 is 100. Yeah, yeah. I don't know what I'm doing about 31 years ago. In 1995, eBay was founded by a guy named Pierre. Oh, it's a funny story. We have it. He became why he founded it. Because his fiance couldn't find a pesdist tensor to complete her collection. Yeah, isn't that funny? Yeah, that's why it's not. And he creates this empire just because he's looking for a way to get her a pesdist tensor. God, now he's got to be a billionaire, right? Or yeah, unless he sold it, but that would still make you a billionaire if he sold it either way. And the day is just fantastic. Yeah. 18 years ago, 2008 Sons of Anarchy premiered on a fake starring, Charlie Huntum.
Was Jack's teller? I watched that whole series. Yeah, we're in for balls in there. We're in for seven series. Seven seasons. Mm-hmm. And then 16 years ago in 2010, machete was released. Machete. Machete. Oh, we met him. We did. We waited for him to finish dinner. That's right. It was very exciting. Oh, speaking of cons, I already requested from our good friend, Don yesterday, that I would like to meet a couple of people at the one that's coming up. Who could you hand pick in your meet and greet? Yeah. I will also be doing that. All right. I'm sure you will. I knew just a little late. It's time for Hollywood Minute Now. It is brought to this time around by DT Energy. Ariana Grande hinted at a commitment with Ricky Elvarez during her final eternal sunshine tour concert in London on September 1st. She altered the lyrics of her song Thank You Next to I'm trying to make him last. Oh. Like trying to make him my last, boyfriends.
Okay. Listen, JLo, Jr. It's not going to work. Right. Well, we'll see. It is crazy though that they dated back in like 2015. On paper, it's around. Yeah, on paper, it sounds like that would be the thing. But Victor Miller, the writer behind the 1980 horror classic Friday the 13th died on Monday at the age of 86. He created the iconic characters Jason and Pamela Voorhees. He also built a very successful television career taking home three daytime Emmy awards for writing soap operas like General Hospital and all my children. Oh. Too bad, son. Well, thank you for your contribution. It was Friday the 13th movie, sir. Part of our pop culture DNA. Yeah. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's kids are reportedly enrolling in an elite UK private school costing more than $35,000 a year. The school features a pool sports field science labs, a theater performing arts facilities and river access for voting and kayak. I first thing I looked at it.
Well, good God. I hope it has river access. In fairness, and I never really cared to be fair to her, but in fairness, where else are our princess kids going to go to school? Yes. You know, they have to go there. We all a fortune announcer Jim Thornton has been suspended. Like I told you yesterday, after an alleged incident while flying that led the law to the law being called, sources are saying he's being cut out of the new season of Wheel of Fortune. The first month of the new season, which premieres on September 14th has already been taped, but producers are now re-editing those episodes with a new announcer. And this is like a very time consuming job. Now Jim Thornton's attorney says he did not engage in any illegal conduct, was not arrested, and has not been charged with any crime. I wonder what it is. Is it an ethics thing, then? I don't. I'm in about somebody or did he, and like, if there's no, if he didn't legally do anything, wrong, it wasn't charged with anything, what did he do? I hate it when, this is kind of the Brad Pitt thing. I hate it when somebody is publicly being destroyed or trying to be destroyed, and we can't
know the thing. Yeah. If it's a public thing and we're all, I mean, and they're getting dragged and they're losing their job, I think it's fair that all the information is out there then, because I mean, it's a work thing, but, right. It's odd. I just, I'm curious, no, I'm sure it'll come out what it is. And finally, police are investigating a death threat made against pink after a disturbing email was sent to a Manhattan hotel on Monday. Now law enforcement sources say the sender explicitly threatened to kill pink and demanded the hotel's front desk pass the message along. Authorities said no injuries were reported, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, but they knew that she just bought this townhouse for like $21 million. I mean, they knew some details about her. So just very random and weird and, I don't know, TV tonight. We have Jeopardy Masters. Tells, thanks so much. Good morning from 100.3 WNIC. It's a little after seven o'clock and Allison and Chelsea are going to be on TV on Fox tour on 745 with me this morning on the news set talking about our partnership with
Stavvy Sliders and how they're helping chase juniors. So that's coming up. We'll tell you all about it. Get a little behind the scenes on that. Allison's bubble is next. It's going to be about toilet paper. Love it. It's mean something to all of us. It's time for Allison's bubble. The latest from the brain of Allison. A fun little fact about toilet paper. Do you know how much you're using the average American uses 141 rolls of toilet paper every year? That makes us number one for number two's globally. I love it when you say it that way. I know. I can't take credit for it. It was written that way. But we are number one in the world for toilet paper usage. The Germans are second using an average of 134 rolls annually. The flushable wipes fall under the umbrella toilet paper. I don't know. I think those are their own thing.
Yeah. And also I'm not sure. I'm not sure where they're still called flushable wipes because it's not supposed to be flushed out. I don't think that they are. I'm sure. Septic tanks around the world just rush curse curse. I guess they're going to come. They're going to want out. They're going to want you to down the hall at Fox two. They want to mic you up. Oh, how exciting. They want to mic you up. Well, these old deals. And then you come on TV with me. I guess we're doing that around 745. Why are Allison Chelsea coming on Fox two today? And why are these two worlds coming together in a crossover event? Well because the J towers meal is now available at Michigan's Savvy Slider locations through November 30th. It's very exciting. Oh, that's my mom's birthday. It's very exciting. Also, this is the reason for this television visit, but also the public demands it. The public wants it. They want it. They want it. They want it. Did I say that? They want it. I said it. It is 1399.
You get a boom in chicken slider, which I really love. The original Savvy slider, Crinkle fries and the drink and the Crinkle fries are quite delicious. Do they have like a seasoning on them? They do, but you'll see. Yeah, okay. I'm excited. So every, every time someone goes to Savvy Sliders and gets that meal, a portion goes to J's juniors and we know how beneficial that is for us. Without a doubt. So all you're being asked to do is eat a slider, help kids. Correct. That's really easy. I believe, let me see here. At all, Savvy Slider Michigan locations. 35 Michigan locations. Wow. 35 in this state. So starting today, you can go get that food. Yeah. And my picture's up there on the menu. The J's juniors logo's up there on the menu. You could just say that you want the J's hours meal. We wanted to call it the J's juniors meal. Yeah. We just worried that sometimes people don't pay attention. Yeah. And the confusion of hearing, if you don't know about our charity, the confusion of hearing juniors might think you're getting a smaller meal.
I get that. I, that makes sense. In a world of junior, this and that, not a fast food. So, and this is really, I mean, the thing about Savvy Sliders and I don't even like to call it's hard to call it fast food because everything is made to order there. So when you get this stuff, they make it and it's not like in, it's not wrapped up. No, no, no. Savvy Sliders in the same category is like a panera or subway. Like, I think of them as fast food. No, they're not. They're not. And, and you know, sometimes wait a little bit because you're, yeah. But those, and they're, you know, they're, for being sliders, they're very hardy. Like you always think you want like four of them and you end up eating two of them. Can I tell you, we have a Savvy Sliders and I've gone in there many times. Yeah. I've gotten the, the shakes. Why, you're nervous? Not the shakes. Oh, oh, oh. I've gotten their shakes. Yeah. Build shakes. But I have not ever, I picked it up for Warren. Yeah. But today will be my first time like actually trying something to bring it hot. Jay, how many times are you going to go through the drives through so that you can see your
little picture next to it? I want to go through and just talk in my voice and go, hello, I'd like my mail, please. Oh my god. Be super obnoxious. You do it too. Can we be there and take that? Sure. Okay. Perhaps you know me from TV and radio. And now you're meal. On the screen, I'd imagine sometimes the voice of Kruger and your two sandwiches. I'm everywhere you want me to be in every place you can just get sick of me. A couple of your Fox News headlines today just so you know, Birmingham is not alone. Several metrics to trade communities, including Berkeley, Dearborn Heights, Gross Point Woods, and South Lyon are cracking down on eBikes and they're putting some restrictions on them. Just because people are getting injured, going too fast, a whole bunch of stuff like that. And you know, if you're an adult, you're a parent and your kid has an eBike and they get in trouble with it or they like you get the ticket just so you know. Oh yeah. Yeah. There are big events happening this weekend. Of course, a big holiday weekend and Metro to trade includes the jazz fest that begins
tomorrow. It is free to attend. Our speeds and eats is happening in Royal Oak, one of our favorites. The Michigan State Fair is happening. I have to Google it. Normally we have information because we're usually doing something and we might be out there. I don't know. There's usually significant music acts at our speed. There are. We've been giving away the Michael Jackson tribute and cool and again tickets. Cool and the gangs there. I guess so. Yeah. Would you like the IP tickets? I will discuss that later with you. You looking for an M&G? You want an M&G? Maybe. I'll get you a me. Cooling the game? Sure. Listen, normally I need your hookups. Yeah. Not that one. I can get myself into. Oh look at you. This walk in the mean thing. I know the guy sure. I know. See for sure. And that look at you all excited about your meat and greed. Look at me. It's going to be ladies night. Oh really? What a celebration for you.
Oh my gosh, I know that you're going to be out there on Monday. Do you know who's also going to be out there with cool in the gang? you wine. Oh, yes. Me, genuine and pony. Yeah, we'll wait for that Instagram story. Oh, 1000%. You know that he's going to. All right. Yeah. So do you want me to get you a Nemanji? Nemanji. All right. It's a rundown of the unusual things that Americans may be grilling for Labor Day, including some of the states we like to visit other than our state of Michigan, which we love. Okay. What are we grilling the most of hot dogs? It says burgers and baked beans are our side who in Michigan is bringing our average down I know by grilling baked beans. Really? If it's hot dogs isn't number one, it's number two. Yeah. That's my favorite thing off a girl. I don't mind baked beans. I actually liked them, but I like I almost never make them. No, I don't. I'll eat them, but my grandma will make them or my mom, but like I don't think that I've
ever prepared baked beans ever. No, I was going to say I get hamburgers. Yeah, that makes sense. In Alaska, moose burgers are number. Yeah. Followed by grilling up salmon and halibut. That's terrible Montana. Alaska. Alaska, sorry. What's it? I mean, I do like salmon, but I'm in those moose burgers. I'm in Alaska. I want King crab legs on the grill. Oh, my next door neighbor. Yeah. I've done it. I've done it. I've done it. I've done it. I've done it. Okay. So my new next door neighbor came over the other day to give me like her cell phone number and email and all that stuff. And she said that she is going on an Alaskan cruise. She is there now. And so I told her, oh, you got to go to Tracy's crab shack. Yeah. Looked up the picture of where we went. And she said, that's actually the first place that we're going to be going. Oh my gosh. Yeah. So they're renowned. You've got a country.
How to make this happen? I might scrap all of our past ideas just to make that happen. Maya. Because I feel like you're true happiness. You'll experience when you're sitting with me and Chelsea at a picnic table under a heating lamp in freezing cold, awful, terrible, rainy cold Alaska, eating hot crab legs and butter on a dock. I want to do that. I want to do that. I want to do that. So good. You know what that reminds me of? What's that? We used to go to Boine Mountain in the winter. Yeah. And sit in the hot tub while the snow fell down. There's nothing better about that. Outside of the hot tub. So I get that. That's a vibe. Why should our executive producer work on a Disney cruise for us? Yes. No, it's hard to get in. That's tough done. We got to make sure we get some trips away. And we still remember what the dolly would and I feel like we've got to go to dolly would we still have to do that. And Florida, they're grilling gator. Is that really, are they really doing that? Or it just sounds like a Florida thing? Because that doesn't sound right. So here's what I think about that. I'm sure it's happening, but that can't be what the bulk of the state is doing.
No, no, no. These are the unusual things being grilled in these states. So in Florida, you would find that, whereas in Michigan, you would not. Right. Grilled fesit in South Dakota. Well, poor fesit. They do love a burger too. Grilled bison and Wyoming, elk steak in Montana makes sense. Yeah. In Maine, they're doing grilled fiddleheads. What in the heck are those? I don't know, but why aren't they doing lapser rolls? Can't grill clothes? Yeah, they were lapser rolls. Yeah, of course, maybe that's the norm though. These are the unusual. They say this one is especially odd because it's a vegetable rather than a meat. Fiddleheads are the young, curled shoots of certain ferns. In New Mexico, roasted green chilies. Yes. Delaware has grilled blue crab. That's probably fantastic. California has Santa Maria style barbecue, which I just googled what that means. It features beef grilled over red oak coals.
I don't know how different that is than how we grill. It must affect the flavor. Chelsea, would you like to go to Colorado and enjoy Rocky Mountain oysters? No, say no, say no. Say what? You tried new things. Don't do it. What are Rocky Mountain oysters? They can only come from males. Ew, okay. No, nothing. Bulls, you don't want to eat those. No, I do not want to eat those. Is that what you was saying about the Colorado Rocky Mountain? I'm never. I'm talking about I worry you. Everything sounds good to eat. Sure. We're starving. What do you got? Time for that's incredible. That's incredible. Some incredible stories from around the world and beyond. The state where dog bite victims face the highest risk is New York. That includes a lot of factors including costs. Florida ranks number one for dog bites alone. Isn't that wild? That's incredible. I think it's got to be population in Florida. There's so many people down there. It seems like everything's happening down there. I also think that I don't know. I mean, we walk around dogs all the time and no one. For the most part, am I wrong? You guys are dog owners.
Is it in the training? Like you may actually. Yes, it's in the training. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. Dog doesn't have to bite people. Yeah, I mean, it's got to be that. That's incredible. How about this? A man in Houston says a door dash driver showed up completely naked. While delivering food to his home. There's no way that happened. That's crazy. It is hot there right now in the hundreds. I don't hear a door dash naked. He's been fired by the way. With your sister over door dash naked? No, yeah, I don't think she showers naked. Oh, I had it. All right, then. What else do we have in this family? We don't like to be naked. Okay. In a survey conducted two weeks ago, only 66% of Americans knew when Labor Day would be celebrated and 4% people, people didn't think there would be a Labor Day in 2026 at all. They thought it was cancer. That's incredible. That's crazy. You're story. Just letting you know. A new survey asked the question, do you think you could fake your own death and get away
with it? Only 3% of Americans say they definitely could get away with it. That's incredible. Okay, well good. That's a very low percentage because you would probably would not. But can I tell you how it happens? Because I'm on a date line thing right now. What they do is they go to the cemetery and they find a baby that passed away. Like at a very young age. And then they go to the social security office and say they're that because the baby hasn't gotten any. I see. I see like terrible. I see like so awful. And they all got caught. But that's like five different date lines I learned that from. And Arizona School District has canceled the entire football season at a high school for both its varsity and university teams. Because of a criminal case involving dry humping during football camp. Okay. That's incredible. You little idiots. I know. You just can't have anything nice. Now there's no football. Which means there won't be homecoming. I mean, there shouldn't be. No, there's no problem. There's no problem. Last but not least, a 39 year old cheesehead in Wisconsin was arrested after he allegedly robbed the bar while wearing a plush packers robe.
He was charged with burglary and two counts of neglecting a child. That's terrible. Oh my God. All right. Congratulations, Allison and Chelsea were just on TV with me about 15 minutes ago. Well, half hour ago now is very exciting. We nailed it. We're waiting for offers to roll in now. I'm just excited that we had great lighting. We really just goes to show we just need good lighting. We do need good lighting and also very excited that we got to eat food. Yeah, we got these. We got to hang with the Erica Francis. That was fun. Let's play the choice favorite game. Battle of the sexist brought to you by Hollywood casino at Greek town. Lauren is going for a number two up against Chris. I was played. Allison, name something you wish you wouldn't wish wouldn't make so much noise when you use it. Wouldn't make so much noise when I use it the vacuum. Number one answer, ten points. Jay named something people do to their armpits. Shave them. Number one answer, ten points. Allison, name something you've considered paying money to get rid of. Unwanted hair. Third best answer, one point for that bugs followed by weight.
Jay named something a man picks up on a date. Something he picks up on a date. Yeah, the bill. Number one answer, you're in the lead 20 to 11. Allison, name something that might be hot and dirty. Something that would be hot and dirty. The man on the date that picked up the bill. Hot and dirty. I'm a mart. I don't drink. Did not make it. Zero points for that. And Jay named something a man might pick up on his way home from work. What are we going to pick up on dinner? That is the number one answer you went 30 to 11. All right.
