TOO TEAS IN A POD
With Teddy Mellon Camp and Tamra Judge.
MUSIC
Hi guys, welcome to another episode of TOO TEAS IN A POD
with myself, Teddy Mellon Camp and Tamra Judge.
Hi Tam, you're looking all stunning.
No, I just got my hair, but it looks good.
I had it pinned back because I had glam my makeup done.
Yeah, you're ready to go.
So we're talking all things Beverly Hills
this episode, which I have some feelings about, which
we're going to get into.
How about the show?
I love how the show starts out.
Sutton is crying and tells Amanda
about how Erica and Boast used chat GPT to drag her business.
Sutton is upset about this and crying about this
as she was when she was talking about her enrollment.
Yeah, we're definitely seeing a different side
to Sutton this season.
I think she's less triggered and more
trying to be her sensitive side is coming out.
Sutton, I mean, first of all, the whole chat thing,
it wasn't cool.
Let's be honest.
It wasn't.
It wasn't cool.
I mean, because honestly, I understand
they don't know what she does and stuff,
but it is her livelihood.
Yeah.
And to be honest, I haven't heard anyone
really ask her questions.
Well, I think the problem is, is that I think it's hard
to explain that you are teaching people what?
What are you teaching them?
How to manifest that?
But I understand exactly what she does for a living.
They did have the scene with Bo's and Amanda
at the beginning of the season where Amanda tried
to explain her business and it came off wrong.
Yeah, but I mean, it just wasn't cool.
And then she Googled herself.
I mean, obviously to get the response that she got,
Bo's, she had to put in bad reviews.
Yeah.
Right?
She had to have asked for bad reviews.
Yeah, because then, but this is what I don't understand.
Amanda's appalled by this.
Like, absolutely appalled.
Yeah, she would do this.
Then she goes on and does it in her confessional about Bo's.
I would have done the same thing,
but that's what it's so hypocritical.
No, I think she's just being like, you're being an asshole.
Hey, you want to do it about me?
I'll do the same thing.
I thought it was great that she did that.
No, she should have done it in the scene with Bo's.
That's where it would have been actually good TV.
Anybody can say whatever they want in a confessional.
Yeah, but I mean, I don't know.
Sometimes you don't think that quick on your feet.
Maybe she's kind of an entire season to think that quick.
Well, I didn't mind it at all.
I thought it was shady.
I thought it was warranted.
And then I thought like she's like her whole, oh my God.
She's saying what she's saying about me
with her saying about her.
Yeah.
I mean, no matter who the person is,
there's going to be shitty things
said about you on the internet at some point.
Oh, of course.
But I don't know.
I see multiple sides to Amanda now.
I've stopped getting to the point where she drives me
absolutely nuts because I realize this is just who she is
going to portray regardless.
This is who she is.
I don't even think it's what she's trying to portray.
She is very into this manifesting stuff.
I personally, I don't get it.
I mean, it's good to have great thoughts and positive thoughts.
She is a robot when it comes to talking about
this manifestation stuff.
I'm not into it.
I don't get it.
But she's making millions off of it.
And according to her, she's not doing anything wrong.
But what do we actually know about Amanda?
Like, I think it was a sudden who said,
Amanda sleeps and talks business.
We don't, I think that's her.
That's why she's so successful
because all she does is sleep and talk business.
Yeah, like there's no,
and she's like other people love her
because she's got all these people following her.
But damn, there's got to be something else
you can share with us.
Right.
And I think that's what the girls are upset about.
Like, we don't know anything about you.
But yeah.
But why do you think Sutton was almost about to cry
during this moment?
I don't know why Sutton was so upset about it.
Like, it's,
yeah, it's a shitty thing to do.
I know it's a shitty thing to do.
I don't know why it got her.
She said it was mean girl behavior.
I don't know why she got that invested in it.
I think she's not that close to her.
She's not that close to her.
She did say something when they were in the limo
that was true.
But I think it's more that she had,
now she has to be the carrier pigeon.
Yeah, yeah.
So I think whenever she has to do that,
and now that she's, you know,
she has a healthier lifestyle,
it's a lot harder to be an asshole.
Mm-hmm.
I like the turnaround with Sutton this season.
Well, yeah, but then she's,
here's the problem with this season.
Who's doing stuff?
Kyle Dury.
Kyle and Dury, that's it.
Yeah.
How many years?
I think that we have three girls on the show
that are very, I don't know,
comical, I guess.
Like, I'm talking about Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.
They're not full-time housewives.
They don't really share their personal life,
but they're funny.
And then we have Rachel Zo,
who we're just getting to know.
She doesn't get too involved in the drama.
She doesn't really create drama,
but I do enjoy watching what she brings
and her way through to what she brings.
She's going to have to do more next season.
But she's going to have to have some opinions.
Yeah, like she's out of view,
but she's not,
she's not one that's overly opinion,
unless it comes to her style.
But she went over the top, we'll get to that.
Yeah, but during breakfast,
Kyle explains to Erica and Kathy
why she said Natalie was a liar.
Okay, I don't know why this is so confusing to everyone.
They have explained this poorly.
Yes.
They walk up by a mass place.
Natalie says who would the Pinocchio mask be?
Bose under her breath goes Amanda.
Amanda, and they all laugh.
But like this isn't brain surgery here.
It's not that hard to remember.
I mean, Natalie did not deny it.
She didn't deny it.
She put it was Bose that said Amanda.
Right, but Bose is saying she didn't say it.
Well, she did, we saw the flashback.
I know.
So yes, we did,
but I think it was off the cuff kind of like it was like,
I don't think she really thought of it.
It wasn't like it was a big thing that they were like,
who's the liar and Bose was like, oh, it's Amanda.
Like it was just they're walking down the street.
It was a joke.
It was a, it was a poor joke.
It was a bad joke,
but I just love that sitting there with Kathy and Kyle
and Erica and Kathy,
they're talking about Dorit and her being late
and she throws in in Kathy style.
Well, Jaja Gabor was late all the time.
I'm like, also have you do anything?
And Erica giving zero than her robe and sunglasses barely able
to even whisper for the conversation is like so good.
But also if you know Kathy that I love watching the scene
because the Kathy does these things that like make you laugh
because at first I didn't know she was joking.
Like you know when she's like,
we're going into town for an hour.
You know how I love to do that.
Like she's totally making fun of what they're doing.
Oh, yeah, I don't know her personally.
She's like, I know that's what I'm saying.
Yeah, she's like, you know how shopping
for one hour and driving an hour to get there
is my favorite thing to do.
No, that's the snarky Kathy.
Yeah, she sticks it in there and like little head
and gym stones that like I like.
And then before they stomp graves,
Amanda confronts Bose and her about her business.
Bose says instead of being on the defense,
Amanda needs to explain her business.
It the funny thing is if somebody said that to Bose,
she would tell them to all the way off.
But like Amanda, this is where we need you to pull out your phone
and chat GPT and Bose in the scene,
in the, not in the confessional.
This is the moment.
This is your moment.
This is the moment.
It's also I think her moment to explain what she does
and the problem is is that she, she,
she's always on the defense because she feels like
everybody's coming for her.
And I understand that because it's like if somebody's
coming after you're all in or whatever.
I mean, people were in my first year,
they're like you're an accountability coach.
Remember how much fun I got made of of that?
That the truth of the matter is on Instagram,
there's so many people that are doing businesses
that are like I'm gonna help you.
I'm gonna help you be the best real estate agent.
I'm gonna help you flip houses.
I'm gonna help you manifest that money
and 99% of it is a scam.
Yeah, it's a scam.
So unfortunately she's kind of put in that box
without people really knowing
and if what she's always defensive
and not explaining what her business is,
then it just doesn't, it doesn't fly with the girls.
Well, and then after being called out,
Sutton explains her intention of telling Amanda
what happened is because she went through something similar
when she joined the show.
And then I wanted to know what that was.
Well, I thought that she said like she opened up a business
and everybody was supportive of her.
She did, we all went to the Sutton opening.
So what did I miss something?
The only thing I can remember is something
that Sutton was involved in.
So remember when Rena had that event for her daughters,
it was like, I can't remember if it was like closing brand
or whatever it was, but Rena had an event.
And then Sutton made a snarky comment about the event
and Rena lost it on Sutton.
And we were all like, it was like,
I think it might have been one of the times
Denise was, you know, bravo, bravo, bravoing
because Denise got involved too
and then there was like gelling and we were all in the hot,
but like that's the only thing I can think of
because other than that,
everybody supported Sutton's businesses.
Yeah, she even set herself.
Like the girl supported her.
But I think Sutton doesn't really know
where to go this year.
I think Sutton's just being calm.
I think that she got a lot of shit maybe last season
and she wanted to switch things up.
And she says different person.
So it's just hard to, like she's a different person
without Garsell.
She doesn't have the built-in backup person.
Right.
And it's just showing a different side.
Let's talk about modern home shopping.
It's sort of become a fun side hobby, right?

Then they're waiting for Dread to get ready.
Kyle and Erica.
And they're getting all AMP about it.
So is Erica.
There must have been a thousand degrees where they were.
When were they there?
What month were they there?
I don't know, but they're there that like from the grape stomping
to this, they're all sweaty.
It gets hot.
It gets so hot in Italy and muggy.
Yeah, so they're on a walk through the neighborhood.
And then Erica cuts the tension between Dread and Kyle
by calling it out.
Dread is pissed that Kyle had conversations about Dread
being erratic with other people instead of her.
And then Dread says, here's the thing, Kyle, I trust both
and I don't trust you.
So even the Joe Otto man was like, you crossed a boundary here.
Well, I mean, she's speaking the truth.
She's just trying to get under Kyle's last nerve.
Obviously, whatever's going on between her and Kyle,
it's not good.
It's not good.
And it's been going on for years.
Right, right.
I mean, safe to say that Dread doesn't like Kyle.
It's safe to say that.
But also, I still think Kyle is trying
to break through to Dread, like giving her the information
and like trying.
And then, but then she got so mad at Erica.
Erica hadn't even barely said anything.
Now, Erica was actually trying to make things better.
She's like, OK, guys, this is awkward,
but you know, we need to move on or whatever she said.
Well, when Dread says that Kyle has a tough time showing her
support, Erica chimes in, which Dread quickly
shuts down and Erica isn't having it.
So Dread gets in the sprinter and leaves them.
Yep.
But like in my opinion, Dread left because Kyle said she never
asks about Moan, not because Kyle said she was worried about her.
I don't know why she left, but the whole thing is is,
I mean, so she left and they're like, oh, she took the car.
OK.
And then they're like, how do we get home?
And then they start walking.
I go, I would have loved to see like a timestamp of hour one,
hour two, they're holding their shoes,
walking through the countryside in Italy.
Like, I would have loved to see that.
But they got into a cab and our very good friend,
I'm sure, Sally Ann King, was there filming from the front seat?
So like, you have no cameras in there.
How are you filming?
Yeah, there's no, I mean, by that.
Also, why didn't they film Dread in the car?
I know, I was wondering why they didn't film her.
Because if she's always on the phone,
she's always doing these things.
Show us her doing those things.
Yeah, I liked when they showed when they said,
you know, she is erratic in ways when she's like always looking
for stuff in her purse.
And then they showed us the multiple times she like went in her bag
and like put on lip gloss and then look for that.
Like, give it to us.
It's all in camera.
So why not show us?
Don't show us the boring shit.
Show us the good shit.
Right.
I think most of this is an issue about her timing
and how disrespectful it is.
It is, everybody is so selfish.
But I think that what they're not saying
is they're not breaking the fourth wall.
Like those girls had to stay up until 5 a.m.
The night that Doreet was late to the one dinner.
They had to stay up till 5 a.m.
Yeah, like they had to wait so long.
Like they didn't even serve dinner until 3.30 in the morning.
Really?
Yeah.
I wouldn't wait for that.
If somebody wants to be late and I agree with Rachel Zo,
where it's like you're, it's just disrespectful.
It's like your time is more important
than everybody else's time.
And that's always a problem on these housewives shows.
There's always one that's always late
and it's annoying to everybody.
Yeah, but I think that's what it is.
They're on a cast trip, which you don't get to sleep anyway.
And then you're all sitting around waiting
for someone to film with.
Yeah.
And then they get there and then they leave.
No, it's very unprofessional and rude.
Yeah.
So I think that's really where some of this anger
is stimming from, especially when it comes to Erica.
Yeah, it pisses off production too.
Yeah.
I mean, because Erica's like,
Erica gets glammed and does all of these things before,
but she still manages to get there on time.
Yeah.
I can go on and on about this, but I'm not going to.
But then we're back at the villa.
Kyle and Erica feel everybody in on what went on with Duret.
And then Rachel and those don't enjoy Kyle
dragging them into it.
I agree with that.
I agree with that.
I agree with that.
If you say, somebody's saying to you,
well, you did this and then you go,
well, everybody, everybody is talking about it.
Well, everybody else isn't bringing it up, but you.
So you can only be responsible for yourself.
So if you brought it up, you are solely responsible
for what you said.
You cannot drag other people into it.
You cannot.
This is where I also wonder if they're stuff we're not seeing.
Because was there a moment where Rachel actually
really got upset about this?
Or was there a moment that bows actually?
It's probably off camera.
It's Holly off camera.
They're all side-barring and saying,
this is annoying.
She's doing this.
She's doing that.
She's erratic.
She's all these things probably.
But the thing is, it's like, OK, if you say it off camera,
you don't want it on camera, clearly.
So if you're the one that's bringing it up on camera,
and you're making a big deal at it,
then you've got to take ownership for that.
You can't drag other people into what you're saying.
But Rachel wasn't going to have it.
Rachel stepped in and was like, no, just so we were all clear.
I didn't say I was worried.
I just said, maybe this is who you are.
Like, it would make me crazy if somebody was laid
all the time.
I would hate it.
But it's not how I live my life.
But it's one of my biggest pet peeves,
people that are late and make you wait.
It's just annoying.
It's just respectful.
Like, to me, on time is like 10 minutes before.
And it's also shows I think I'm better than you,
which I think on a show like that.
It's entirely silly.
It's like when the women, like, one of them wants to walk down,
like, leave the plane first every single time.
So they are always going to be the one that gets the best shot.
Like, there are housewives that do that.
So it's a very similar thing.
Like, you can't be like that bugs me that you do this every time.
Or the person that always has to sit on the right side
of the camera because that's their better side.
And so you have to like move things around all the time.
It's like, people become more high maintenance
the longer that they're on the show unless you're me.
Yeah.
Here are some of you were to say, let's do this.
Time to go.
Let's go get to work.
Yeah.
But then on the way to dinner, Rachel tells Drey
that her friendship with Kyle sucks.
She doesn't understand having a friend that you can't trust.
I do wish that we got a bit more of this Rachel
in the group settings because we're getting it more
in the professionals.
And yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I think like, you know, I think she's doing good
for her first season.
It's not easy to just say things out outright
to somebody's face in these situations.
But she does step in.
And like, he does.
Yeah, I think like reunion, I think you're going to see,
I think she's going to step up a little bit more
and be more vocal.
But she, what I also was thinking about
is the show she was on before was all about her.
Mm-hmm.
So I think this first year, she's not
wanting to ruffle the feathers with other women.
No, and she doesn't want to stomp on grapes either.
Yeah.
In her $10,000 dress.
Did you notice that she had a bandaid on her toe?
I didn't notice.
I'm hoping I saw it wrong.
Oh my God.
Well, those weird things stepped in the dirt
and stepped in the grapes.
I'm like, wait, is this just, this is clearly just for fun?
That you can't be using those.
They cannot be using those.
But the fact that, and they're all in expensive dresses,
and like, oh my God, yes, it's going to stain.
The only one that was smartly dressed for that was Amanda.
She was in like a little short suit.
Yeah.
Yeah, she was like shorts and, you know, whatever it was.
But everybody else looked like, who knows?
Both thought they were going to the pool party again.
Let's talk about modern home shopping.

And Dorit is pissed off.
And she's like, these heavy size.
And which is interesting because she had just called a man.
What did she call Amanda the week before?
Salky?
Oh, the, no, it wasn't that.
It was, God, I can't remember.
Was it Salky?
I think it was Salky.
Well, she clearly with all her huffs and puffs,
she wanted everybody to know that she was upset
and nobody really gave a shit.
They're just like, whatever.
And she's like, you can see like she's pouting on her face
and doesn't want to talk to anybody.
I'm like, oh my God, stop, just stop it.
Because we also have to think this is the first time.
I mean, Erica said it in scene.
But like, this is the first time Erica and Dorit
have had any issues like on camera since their big issues
on that boat, you know, like back wherever that was.
Was that an Amsterdam?
Was it Amsterdam?
When she's like, I say, you say, you know, pointless things.
And I say good things.
What I heard about Japan, yeah.
So it's like, I think that through off Dorit as well.
Like Dorit's like, I can't believe I don't have Erica
right now.
Well, she has bows.
She has bows and bows has it for everybody else.
Mm-hmm.
She has bows, she has a helmet.
She's like Kyle.
She doesn't like Kyle.
She doesn't like Amanda.
Have we ever seen bows speak to Sutton?
Good question.
Like, there's not much interaction between the two of them.
Like, there's very little bows one on ones.
Mm-hmm.
Like, we saw bows at one time.
We did get a new bows interview look.
Yeah, we did.
Kyle's been in the same outfit.
I feel like all season long.
Did she only have one look?
No, she had three.
So I don't know why they keep showing her only
in the one that the Sutton tie.
She must have been extra wrapped up that day.
It's like the same outfit every single day.
And I'm like, wait, I know she's
done more looks, but it's they always use that one.
She must have been on a good one when she wasn't out yet.
That outfit empowered her that day.
Yeah.
But then watching them even order, I'm
sorry, bugged me even watching Deread Order.
Because she has to speak an Italian, is that why?
Yeah, and has to just be so Deread about it.
And then Jennifer Tilly like massacres the Italian language.
What was she ordering spaghetti Parmesan?
Yeah, but then Tony, lasagna.
She seemed like she ordered a lot of food too.
I know.
Well, because she ordered an appetizer.
I love how they're all like point to their like as if the person
is not going to be like Rachel's like, can I have a white wine
and like points at her empty?
Because she probably couldn't.
Oh, I thought you meant from the menu because I was probably
can pronounce it white wine, wine, white.
How do you say white to Italian?
Deread, make sure he knows I need a white wine for this conversation.
And then Deread's like red wine, please.
Then Kyle brings up how awkward it is with Deread, which
is awkward.
And Erica's kind of near Deread in the sitting schedule,
seating arrangements, but like Kyle's nowhere near Deread.
She's like, she's on the end.
But it's like they're sitting there.
There's nothing going on.
They're having little conversations.
Then Kyle's just finally, can we just get to the point?
Yes, I'm thinking in her head, as a cast member,
this is our last night.
Gotta have some like, gotta get this conversation out.
And she's like, can I say something?
Yes, Kyle, say it.
And so Deread stands on her opinion
that she left Kyle and Erica behind,
because it's deflective and aggressive.
Whatever.
I don't think anything was aggressive.
Is there anyone yelling at her?
No, at the gelato.
It wasn't anything no big deal, honestly.
And then she's like, well, let's go.
And then I think what pissed off was when she was like,
let's go girls.
And Erica goes, I'm not going.
Yeah.
And I'm not talking.
Yeah, and that's what pissed her off more than anything.
But then who just thinks you can leave
your other cast members like, that shows,
I mean, she would have lost her shit if it was reversed.
Oh, I know.
I mean, stuck out there by herself.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Then after Kyle brings Bo's and Rachel onto the combo,
Rachel says she said it all to read.
And Bo's thinks Kyle is trying to garner
support for her opinions.
But I was remembering that call between Bo's and Kyle,
where Bo's called Kyle and they are talking about it.
And we don't really see anything that Bo says.
So clearly, this is meant to happen.
We're meant to see Kyle shown this way.
And we're not seeing any of the other women do it.
Because what else, if we didn't have Amanda
and we didn't have Kyle and Eric and Kyle
and Rita fighting, what do we have?
So there's not a lot of fighting on the show this season.
There's not.
I mean, it's just, I don't mean even just fighting.
There's not a lot of fun.
Like, you have to have one of the F's fighting are fun.
I think that I don't know.
I mean, you can't get it right every season.
Yeah, you just can't.
But it's when one person's the only one pulling their weight.
It's, I think it's frustrating.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
And then Kyle tells Doreet that she doesn't care if she bought a...
Did you get this reference?
I don't care that you bought a Kelly with her advancement.
I do.
I do.
Because if you're not smart enough to know
that you can't make your house payment,
but you can buy a $20,000 bag,
there's something wrong with your brain.
Kyle tells Doreet that she doesn't care if she bought a Kelly
with her advancement,
but those is the one who actually cared
and then yells to Doreet, quit riding my ass.
Yeah.
So...
So is that how the trip ends?
Like, are they done?
Is next week, Clay?
No, I think we have the...
We see the rest of the dinner.
I think it's a two-be-determined.
Oh, I thought it was their last...
I thought we were...
No, I don't think we've gotten to the worst of it yet.
How many more episodes do they have?
I felt a lot.
We're only on episode...
No, they don't have a lot.
We're only on episode 15.
Yeah, they only have 17.
Oh, so we probably have two or three.
Yeah, probably two more than the reunion.
But I mean, it's crazy that nothing's really happened.
But this should be a reminder to you.
Me?
For when you're on...
Me?
For the size of Orange County.
If you're not fighting it, you should be having fun.
Because if not, it's really...
It makes it a little snoozing.
Don't we not want to see so much fighting anymore
and having more fun?
Yeah, but we had to dance to that.
Anyone seem like they are having fun.
They're complaining about going on the grapes.
They're complaining about the bike ride.
Well, hopefully they'll end the season with having some fun.
I'm sure they will not.
It just really looks like it.
Can we talk about how next week will be the last time
we see Natalie?
Because Natalie is not a three-union.
Yeah, Natalie just didn't say much.
And when she did say things have flopped.
Mm-hmm.
And know who does keep their word.
Who?
Jennifer Tilly.
Why?
What do you mean?
Because remember when she first got to the castle,
like I'm just calling it a castle,
she said, I'm going to need to take some nude photos in the pool.
Did she?
Yes.
You didn't see her taking nude photos.
Oh, one morning she got up.
She's got a glass of champagne.
That like they don't...
We don't see anybody else.
She's out there like jumping doing that.
I love her.
I love her.
But did you notice that her and Sutton
haven't seem to be chatting that much since?
No, it seems like argument.
Yeah, they're not as close.
Yeah.
I think now they...
I feel like Sutton's putting all her eggs in Amanda's
manifestation bag.
I don't think so.
I think Sutton is actually upset with Jennifer Tilly.
Probably.
Because remember when Jennifer Tilly was talking about her
when they were at Sonoma or wherever.
And then she kind of just backed right...
when Sutton called her out on it.
She just kind of...
About it.
Yeah.
I think Sutton still pissed about that.
Because normally we at least say that I'm laughing
and chatting and talking together.
But there hasn't been any of that.
You're right.
Jennifer's kind of just went on around.
Yeah.
But yeah.
I think next week is the blow-up week.
So there's a big blow-up coming.
I think so.
Okay.
Good.
Can't wait.
I will.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
