Fundraising Run In Aid Of Volunteering In Uganda

On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined in studio by friend of the show John Conroy, along with volunteers Cora Hahessy McNulty and Michael O’Neill. John has spent the past 17 years volunteering in underdeveloped regions of Africa, particularly in Uganda, where he works with some of the most marginalised and vulnerable children and adults. As he prepares for another trip, John will once again take part in the annual fundraising run supporting the cause. Cora and Michael are also involved and will be travelling to Uganda this summer to volunteer. They joined Alan to share more about their work and the upcoming trip. Image © Clare Fm
