Gecko-inspired robot grippers. This is Ken Ham, on a mission to call the church back to the authority of God's Word.
Biomimicry is when we look to God's creation for problem-solving ideas.
For example, dealing with space junk is a big problem.
As you can imagine, grabbing things as space is hard.
Most clues won't stick and suction doesn't work in a vacuum.
So scientists designed robot grippers inspired by Gecko feet.
These tiny lizards can run up walls and across ceilings because of tiny hairs that create molecular forces.
Engineers are copying this design for their grippers.
You know, engineers copy God's designs because they are the best designed.
And that's exactly what we'd expect from our Creator God.
God's creation is full of amazing designs that highlight the wisdom of the Creator.
