We are going to explore how the Roman Emperor became a god. It was actually something that was engineered by Augustus Caesar and inspired by the Roman general Pompey the Great.

In this 5 part series, we will look at how the Augustus Caesar created his divinity. In this second episode, we look at Alexander the Great as the central character that connected the Greek and Roman worlds. We also look at how Alexander was the combination of both Egyptian and Persian styles of worship.
