German TV Presenter Sues Ex for Deepfake Porn

On March 23rd, a German TV presenter named Coleon Fernandez has filed a lawsuit against her ex-husband, actor Christian Olman, accusing him of

creating hundreds of deep fake porn images of her over 10 years.

The couple, who share a daughter, were together since 2011, separated last year and finalized their divorce in March.

Fernandez revealed on social media that Olman made fake profiles in her name, sent out AI-generated nude photos and videos,

and even used her voice. For, phony phone conversations, he confessed on Christmas Day in 2024, after she reported the abuse to police, claiming it stemmed from a sexual fetish, he couldn't control.

The news has ignited outrage across Germany, sparking a large demonstration in Berlin on Sunday, and an open letter from over 250 female.

Politicians and celebrities demanding tougher laws on deep fakes and violence against women.

Sources close to Fernandez also say she endured physical abuse from Olman before, including an incident outside a cafe in Spain in 2000.

Officials from the Justice Ministry announced that new laws criminalizing digital violence, including deep fakes, are coming very soon to close legal.
