There's only two that are going to come into the spotlight and one very much more than the other but the March International break continues so there's plenty to discuss and because Rory's on the show will take a look at the Spain game tomorrow as well and give some opinion when it comes to those European playoff finals that take place on Tuesday as well.
Rory, we were together late last week. You were skiing in France I think it was. Obviously you're backing one piece so there's no broken leg. A half expected you'd be like you're in a hospital where you're laptop and like you're leg up in that classic thing with a massive cast on it and that sort of thing but you're all right.
That is the relief it has to be said it was my first time skiing as I've seen so yes to just get back without any broken bones there's a few times I felt my knee dragging and I was playing I wasn't going to do an ACL but we're back in one piece we're back to the Sunday warm climbs of Madrid and the safety of football and paddles so those are my sporting endeavors for this week.
Wonderful stuff love that you play Paddley yes big well they're getting to paddle here everyone loves playing paddle and it's it's quite easy not to be too bad which pet it's me instantly so yeah I don't play it but there are courts very close to where I live and I know that Sean Calvert plays it a lot and I think he thinks he's quite good about it so we'll see we'll we'll have to try and sort of manufacture some sort of game between
the pair of you welcome in one and all what have we got here on the chat nice and early graphics just come over it and this is Barron who says I remember to check on Nigel and Tim tennis shows have been outstanding so far with us
with us morning everyone I had a good weekend which is good Steve from Lynn says morning guys Father Brown is with us I like team total of one and a half a big teams in friendlies lots of subs a half time race with us good afternoon Dan and Rory as is a guy called they had a decent weekend
putting on WSL easy win for us in the North London Derby and Segunda as well as some tennis Mindy Priya says Rory has been left out of Simon Holden's basement I've not text Simon about that maybe what maybe he was watching and wouldn't sort of reply to my text anyway Paul
Mani Knight Chelsea both of you score also both of you score were big winners from in the in the WSL yeah there's plenty of women's football ongoing city within touching distance of the title there there's champions league games coming up as well this midway quick check on some of the the bigger winners of the course of the weekend college basketball absolutely huge Duke against you can
a $330,000 play on Duke minus four to four and a half and a hundred and seventy seven thousand dollar play as well minus four and a half on the spread they were nineteen points up an eight points up going into the closing stages they lost on a buzzer beta that was a real bad beat if you're on Duke as somebody was or maybe it was the same better I'm not quite sure both the losers to huge stakes on that one also in the college back
basketball Arizona Perdue $300,000 play on Arizona minus five and a half on the spread which was a winner Michigan $175,000 minus seven and a half on the spread also a winner against Tennessee also Louisville women March Madness women against Michigan that was a loser $108,000 play plus five and a half on the spread into NBA
Thunder against the Knicks a two hundred and thirty nine thousand dollar play on the thunder minus seven and a half which was a winner and of course we had major league baseball starting last week the brewers against the white socks took an awful lot of money big handle on the game the brewers minus one minus one one one nine hundred eighty thousand dollar play which was a winner into the soccer over the course of the weekend some interesting place here
Senegal against Peru live over 0.5 first half goals a fifteen thousand dollar play which was a winner Columbia France prestige friendly France won that game three won we did have a better goal over four and a half goals so it was a loser a $12,000 play it was in play I presume at plus 220 but also a 10k play on
France live over 0.5 first half goals which was a winner also just away from that Strasbourg women against Leon women Leon generally the best team in France and have been for a long long time were the best team in Europe for a long time as well over 0.25
first half goals which is a loser in that illegal feminine fixture and Segunda Granada Huasca live not point over three and a half goals over three and a half first half goals which is a winner.
I don't know if if Segunda is a is a big goals league or not Roy do we have more goals in Segunda I sort of just pitched it as a sort of regularly rather one that's that there's a lot of goals in it is that fair.
It's a bit of a funnily because the every team is so even that you can kind of get into these kind of back and forth basketball games in certain senses then other times you will get
depending on manager and groups of players you will get the one-nilts and the one-nilts the ones that really just kind of beat out results.
For instance somebody are winning five won this weekend against a sociadabé and real sociadabé are probably quite a good one for goals because they're obviously trying to play football they're trying to develop as much as they are
trying to win games obviously but a big result for Armourier who recently added Cristiano Ronaldo as a minor share goal.
As they did indeed didn't they remember? There's not as many beat teams as they're in Segunda as they're used to be and you can't be promoted anyway can you even if you want it.
But I've noticed that some of the sort of bigger teams they are not in Segunda anymore they're in the I guess is it regional after Segunda or is there a national third set?
So there's this Primero left which is the third tier and that kind of divides into two kind of areas so it's been kind of reshaped but I think it's the kind of north and middle of Spain right now and then south and kind of east of Spain and so it gets split up in different ways.
As you say the beat teams I think round kind of around 2010 or so you used to have Castilla and Barça Athletic kind of really fighting it out for Segunda.
Luis Enrique was in charge at the time of Barça Athletic when Guardiola was there so yeah you had some really quite big names and in recent years I think it's become harder for those teams to kind of really battle it out with the Segunda powers and protocols.
There is purpose to this little segue into Segunda we've got a little bit of a Segunda special coming your own Wednesday one or two other things that we'll have on the show as well but there are four games and I'm pretty sure they are streamed live on the bet rivers app so we'll we'll be taking a look at that myself and worry on Wednesday.
What else we got in the chat here Father Brian says stop reading out my winners just the winners lose as father Brian.
Segunda has some bonkers games this weekend says a guy called they Steven horses had late noran in case exit in the downhill probably a barrel one Neil.
Bramley half time and a barrel full time are so that was a loser for you.
Yeah some interesting games in the low leagues in England some long odds winners from the weekend really nice story with Gary Woodland dirty if anybody follows the golf but he was out for a long time because of injury.
He had a say injury had a they found a lesion on his brain he had brain surgery and then came back and wasn't the same sort of play that won the US Open in the late teens 2019 when he beat put it down the stretch but he came back to win the Houston Open we had a $55 play on Gary at 125 to one for just shy of $7,000 win.
Also $80 on Gary Woodland at 90 to one to in the Houston Open to win 7,200 I also thought he was a decent bet for the masters but his master's record is terrible I say terribly she's just not very good.
He's he's missed more cuts that he's made but you never know he might be one to follow but masters is very much horses for courses as I'm sure everybody is aware.
Also on the big odds winners from your 100 dollar player on Alex Breggman to hit at least two home runs in the Cubs national game at 45 to one which was a winner 4,500 Alex fits Patrick to in the hero open in the golf 75 dollar play that one 2,625 that is of course the younger brother of Matt Fitzpatrick who won on the PGA tour a couple of weeks ago big chef United fans or at least Matt is.
Also 150 dollars on brewers money line against the white socks at 17 to one 2,500 dollar win as well and that bit of a random one Argentine second here 2,880 dollars on loss and res to beat
10 to one which was a winner well done to that particular better who was looking at national Bayer think it is Argentina streams today plenty of tennis if you're watching ATP Houston and Marrakesh and WTA Charleston and Bogota for your pleasure if you're a tennis better.
Let's just have a quick chat Rory about what we thought over the course of the weekend obviously in terms of international soccer we did have that France win over Colombia I'm not quite sure if we if we learn anything with that 3,1 win in the United States we saw Ivory Coast beat South Korea Portugal during Mexico England drew with Uruguay Belgian beat the United States Spain beat Serbia as you call by 3 goals to nil
and then that wild game between the Swiss and Germany on Friday which Germany 1,4,3 I mean a lot of coaches are just looking at players in training they're not necessarily interested in the results even though we are as better as you know do we pull anything interesting out from the weekend international Rory what did you make of it all.
I think it's quite difficult in terms of we're obviously all kind of looking at this in terms of the world cup and what we can kind of predict for winners and where we can go there.
But yeah team wise in terms of the actual results themselves and in terms of what you can take away conclusions of how teams are going to play I think it's pretty difficult to actually believe too much from this from at least from a national perspective so for instance I obviously pretty well drilled on Spain well drilled on Scotland I have kind of France as well you kind of get a bit more info you can kind of pick up slight tendencies or slight kind of hints nods towards certain players I guess
in terms of what what squads are going to be like but yeah as you say over the all in terms of kind of future markets I think it's pretty hard although I would be wondering about putting money on your table as top scorer in the world cup right now.
Yeah I mean did he score twice against Serbia I mean he's you mentioned screeners yeah you mentioned it and it's like well you know who is Spain's goal scored I think one of the one of the guys in chat may well have been for top world cup scorer and when you think to yourself you know he Spain's main man and Spain are the favorites to win the World Cup just because he's not sexy name any and he doesn't play for a sexy team in a way he's not Barcelona or Real Madrid or I've learned.
He tends to go under the radar a little bit I mean is he you know casting stone to be Spain's starting strike for the money seems that way.
Yeah absolutely I think after there was a better years period where I think Louis de la Fuente it was kind of sometimes picking Marata sometimes picking Oja Thabao Ferran Torres was kind of in the running as well but Torres's forms tailed off Marata's not even in the squad these days and Oja Thabao his record for Spain is absolutely phenomenal and I think
I can't remember how many games it is but if you go back about 10 games he's got kind of 16-17 goal contributions in those games there's one game you have a hat trick of assists even so yeah he is in frightening form and he seems to suit Spain perfectly and kind of understanding when he needs to be in the box having the ability to drop off particularly at the weekend there was a goal where I kind of played cool but I see the center back and I place it into him on the edge of the box filming Lopez takes the defender and he just bullets it into the top corner from the edge of the box and that that kind of knowledge of
appreciation of space is what Oja Thabao brings the ability to combine with players he's a player that I love I watched him against a letty three four weeks ago now and I letty won the games three two but Oja Thabao came on scored within 30 seconds just put it in the top corner again and and yeah the form the confidence he has for the Spain side let's not forget you place for the associate that we were very good team but they're not providing him with the same service that the likes of Lime Niamal or Petri or Prubarsi in this case are so
yeah he is their number nine and I think it will be a battle between him and in Bapé probably for the top scorer because in Bapé obviously isn't Bapé but but how many goals are France going to pass there a group stage of moments is probably the key Steven from Lime points out Steve batting he suggested that Rory mentioned in Tipton a few months ago now 38 to 1 was the price he's plus
2300 so 23 to 1 we bet rivers as we speak at the moment are just glancing at his recent record for Spain he scored in his last five internationals he's got one two three four five six seven total in those five and you know these you know he's he scored in big games as well he scored in the nation's league final that was a penalty shootout defeat wasn't it against Portugal he's you know scored against the Dutch he scored in big games
so look he could well be scored in the Eurofinals the league against England as well the winner so look if you're looking for something a little bit long range and it's not that long range because we're we're getting towards the World Cup and obviously we will be covering the World Cup fairly extensively
Nigel in fact gave us our dates for World Cup previews earlier on today so Juni's going to be stacked with an awful lot of World Cup content but I think once
the general public get hold of Ayatheball I keep calling me at the ball Ayatheball Ayatheball Ayatheball Ayatheball
Rory is not that bad but yeah you're good good enough
yeah look you know he might be one that a lot of the tips to get hold of he might be one that a lot of websites start to put up as soon as those World Cup previews start to come out
so if you want to get a little bit ahead of the curve Steve from links way ahead of the curve if you want to get ahead of the curve a little bit
you know I have a look at him right now for top goal scorer I mean there hasn't been any sort of movement in terms of the World Cup odds as you would you're not going to expect anything here I mean I noticed that Norway were beaten Harland didn't play the Dutch beat
Norway to one there's there's one or two judges that I know that think that Netherlands could have a little bit of a squeak at 20 we talked about Spain Rory didn't we last week
plus 450 they are the favourites at the moment English England plus five 50 I don't think we've really got anything else to add I mean I think the Dutch don't have a striker
if they're going to play at Memphis to pay who's in Brazil isn't it the minute and then there's Marlon who's shown a better former Roma
I don't think there's there's too much to add there obviously where are Italy in that Italy
when we talked about it ahead of their semi final playoff they're a little bit bigger and they might come in a little bit
I mean that's the only one with a bit of movement anything else to add Rory when it comes to work up we've probably done it to death
I don't really yeah probably I guess the one thing I saw today Karlo and Chilote saying the team that score
the team that wins the work up won't be the team that scores and those goals will be the team that conceits the fewest and that kind of
like to it's his real Madrid's I like a pessimistic defender if we can just keep them out then we'll score roles
and I think that's probably the approach he'll take with Brazil I think Brazil will probably decide that I look at and I'm thinking
right okay I don't actually have too much faith in their form in necessarily the squad being that balance
but Karlo and Chilote we don't we've never seen him in international management and probably gives you an ex-fighter
in terms of cup competition to at least the club level so can he transfer that to to the World Cup and to international competition
yeah I mean you know Brazil haven't won the World Cup since 2002 we talked about it a lot I mean I remember
when he was Real Madrid coach and we used to talk about it a few years ago and it was always leveled that it was
he was just a vibes coach and not much more and you were always suggested well look you know come on he's he's a little bit better than that
you know he's you know you've got to have some sort of nuance and tactical ability you don't just you know
give it the go out there and enjoy yourself boys you've got to be a little bit better I mean Brazil could be interesting
but I think they're just always very sure and as you say the squad I don't know I mean if you're playing
who's going to play it from Chapello Rishalus and I'm not I'm not quite sure it's a difficult one
and Joe Joe Bama says Francine like like the right futures for me yeah can't put anyone off Francs really
Brazil will have huge huge onfield advantage during the states which may press them on yeah that's
that look they always get massive support wherever they play but obviously the states it's going to be sort of bigger
than maybe it would have been in Qatar but you know they're aside that we know I've got a lot of talent
but they are not the team they are not the world beaters that we saw where you've got to go back to I don't know
I mean 2002 the last time they won it with with the original Ronaldo beaten in the final in 98
I can't remember the one they won prior to that but yeah
Thank you for the horrible and 94 in the states 94 in the states wasn't it they beat Italy on penalties yet
That was a that was a poor one
Right let's get you look there's only a couple of get well there's two games that take place today
that are on our slate Cyprus and Maldoria is a friendly
I have a ball says plus 1600 not that big in my opinion says Joe Bama well plus 2300 we bet rivers
Joe what can I tell you Messi is plus 1200
Yeah if you like Argentina I suppose so but you know we're talking about a Yathabalas as the starting striker for the World Cup favourites here Joe
and at 23 to 1 I think he's a play anyway let's get back to today's games it is plural but only just
Cyprus and Maldoria and then a much better game to take a look at Germany against Ghana
but we will take a look at Cyprus Maldoria as well the teams are probably out I might try and get the teams here as well for this one
because it's a midday eastern kickoff here let's get some prices up for this one look we you know needs must at this time of year
we know that every single day hasn't got massive stakes tomorrow he's unbelievable incidentally
not only is the the Euro player finals but there's a whole manner of really good friendlies as well
so Steve and whoever he's with he's going to have it right off tomorrow anyway this is Cyprus Maldoria
there weren't any gold scorers one I had a look for this one Cyprus a minus 180 how did that happen I looked about an hour ago
there were minus 150 Maldoria plus 430 I have to triple check this tie plus 290 over and under goals over
minus 124 under is minus 1114 Cyprus were fourth in their work at qualifying group but they were beaten by Belarus
who were awful and they're friendly on Thursday they did have most of the game most of the ball most of the shots
but couldn't score Maldoria were even worse in their work at qualifying game they can see the 32 they finished last
they didn't win a game and they were beaten by Lithuania last week now my Lithuania knowledge is excellent at the moment
because I comment because I commentated on them against Georgia on Sunday and Lithuania's win over Maldoria last week
was their first after 17 games without they were on an absolutely shocking run they are coached by Edgamesh and Kowskis
who used to play for Porto among still this among servers including hearts
yes and look he's doing a good job as he possibly can do
but Lithuania rapport Georgia 1-2 Neal Mickattas scored a couple
obviously Georgia got a little bit of stardust with Mickattas and Caveritt Scalia
but any side that Lithuania are beating in my opinion aren't very good so I would play Cyprus
I thought they were minus 150 and I thought we could sort of parlay it up a little bit here
looking at Cyprus and under three and a half goals at plus 1-14
but I'd have to have another check it that was your thoughts on this one
yes Rory
it's not a bad one to be honest I mean Cyprus the team that have won win in a year
Maldoria that don't have a win in I think it's won in two years
so yeah two teams that are not accustomed to winning I guess that kind of influences
there's a little bit in the sense that both teams will play with a little bit more freedom
it's friendly it doesn't matter too much
Maldoria did okay in their nation's lead group recently
but as you say they kind of did it take six points from their nation's lead group
so they're not they're not right at that kind of bottom wrong as I think Maldoria
maybe are I Maldoria obviously get promoted but yeah I think Cyprus
have always had a little bit more football tradition than Maldoria
I quite like them here in terms of the win obviously but minus 180 you're not getting much value
my pick for this one my lean at least was Cyprus second half to win that
plus 104 it might have come in a little bit just now judging on the statistics
so you've given me there but yeah I just I think Cyprus at home against the side
that they're probably a little bit better than maybe you get a kind of freak result
where Maldoria kind of hold out or Nick when I set peace
but all things being equal I think Cyprus have to be strong papers
yeah look the price is now minus 195
so something has happened somewhere I know that Maldoria are missing
one of their main strikers but this is not new news
Nicholas go hasn't played in 2026 for his club side
so it's not as if there's some breaking news here
he's a decent player at that level
we played from a Carby Tel Aviv and he used to play for Hermvain in the Erdovesi
but it's not as if nobody knew that he wasn't going to start
I don't know why there's been a massive plunge on Cyprus here at minus 195
have a look at Cyprus winning the second half as Rory suggests just a couple of leans
I mean the last time that these two sides played Maldoria did win 3-2
and Cyprus have got a 3-2 win against Maldoria
that very small sample size from years ago was to Jess Golds
but as Rory's pointed out these two teams are pretty poor
and it would not surprise me if it went under
if I was forced to I'd probably play under
but yeah it's a bit disappointing that the Cyprus price is gone
but yeah I have a look for Cyprus in the second half as Rory suggested here
Byron has been on says off the board now here in the States
I'm guessing the money was pouring in on Cyprus
yeah I can't get the team news
not that I'd probably make that much sense of the Cyprus over too many way
but something has happened for a massive move on Cyprus
so I don't know you may be looking at Cyprus on the Asian line now
minus 3-4 get a half win as long as they win or even minus 1
might take you away we'll take you to plus money I would have thought for that one
anyway that is Cyprus more dover we thought we'd cover it because it is on the slate
but the one that most people are going to be taking a look at
certainly having a financial interest in is Germany against Ghana
and there's some good points of interest here from a betting point of view
because Germany obviously one of the favourites to win the World Cup
they are very short price here Rory to beat Ghana
who had a shocker against Austria in their first game in this international break against European opposition
there were beaten 5-1 apparently they were all over the place
they were poor they are missing some key players
they are 14 to 1 to 1 in Stuttgart
where this game is being held
Germany minus 7-70 the tie
at 8-1 the over and underline is 3.5 as you can see
going to be interesting to see who Julian Nagelsmann plays
because he did say he would rotate
Volta Marder at minus 127
any time Florian Vertes who was brilliant
in Germany's 4-3 win away at Switzerland
in these plus 1-10 in any time goal scorer
he scored 2-1 assisted 2 I think
don't think that Kai Havats is going to start
we've got some menu
Adu and Aiu as Ghana players
I think Germany will win this and win this easy
Rory what are your thoughts?
Yeah I mean to that point Ghana's last three finalies
have been lost 8-1 to Japan said could be Austria
so Germany aside obviously step up from those teams
the last time that I make it that they beat in my words
and in the very comments again a legit side
was Mali in June of 2024
go back third and not
it was Seb Kudier in the 2022 World Cup
so this is again a side that
in a bit of a crisis it has to be said
even if they have made the World Cup
Südemana and Semenio
they're probably the biggest threat
but they're quite isolated I think against this German defence
and I guess from kind of a money point of view
minus 770 for Germany
that makes like pretty hard to get some value out of it
so you're kind of looking at the individuals
at say once the team use comes out
then you have a lot better kind of grasp
of how you're going to attack this
but I would say with Volta Mara
who's there built today saying that he's got the edge
over Dennis Wunderb and it's more likely to start
and he's somebody that I like to kind of target on the prop bets
Yeah it's an interesting one
because I text you early today
and we were talking about the prop
and he was like well we just don't know who's going to start
and he said that Volta Mara is going to start
and I looked at one or two expected starting on
and he's in ahead of Undav
and the fact that Undav is a Stuttgart player
he's got 18 goals for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga
only Harry Kane has scored more
and he suggested what he said
Nagelsmann that Nubel's going to play
who's the keeper and is another Stuttgart player
but he hasn't said that Undav's going to play
he's just said he's going to be involved
and I'm sure that if he was going to start
he'd probably say that
so Volta Mara is probably the call on that one
I mean Germany won the last six
prior to that Swiss 4-3 success
they won the last four
all to nil
I mean I know that the friendly's
you know don't always go to play
and Germany can get involved in some sort of basketball matches
as that Switzerland game was
but I look at sort of Germany to nil
and for a favourite that's minus 7-70
the last way looked Rory I think
Germany to win to nil
was plus money
which seems to be more than a fair
that everything that Garner having
been beaten 5-1
might take a step back and think
look we just don't want to get beat 5-1 again
yeah absolutely
I looked at that
it was one of the best I liked a lot
I think so earlier in the day
it was one plus one away
I don't know if it's come in again
but given the way the prices have been shifting today
maybe one to look at
everyone is on the same games
I would say yeah with this Germany side
Swiss team are very good at counterattacking
they know how to play against the German team
because half their players are in the Bundesliga as well
this Garner team as they say
it's hard to know how they're going to attack this really
because do you try and play football
and risk another dropping
probably not given that 0-3rd to last game before the World Cup
this Germany side as you take
in the last six games
they've won quite a few of them
I was looking at it for that
they were on a run of 1-6 wins
and that was France and Portugal
and it's made up the majority of those games
again different level of opposition
it's not a perfect Germany team
but I do think that they are
probably a step above
the one thing to watch out for
is in those last six games
when they have one to know
they've had two unders against Northern Ireland
and Luxembourg which is quite a
and I hope that is
kind of taking me away
from that goal line of 3.5
just in case to be perfectly honest
because you look at it
and there's a lot of goals in that Germany side
but there's no one that I'm
that isn't that kind of top level
of kind of me full goal scorer
category in the same way
and then back it would be
or in my pub
and I'll get that about these days
yeah I think that's fair
and I think that's maybe one of the reasons
why they've just fallen short
I mean I thought they were really good
against Spain in the last European championships
and on another day
might have won that game
in the quarter final
but they got knocked out
and they did make
the nation's league semis
it's only against the very best teams
they seemingly have come on stock
over the course of the last few years
they're drawn with Kurosawa
Ivory Coast and Ecuador
in their World Cup group
Garner who have been shocking
since they qualified
didn't make Afcon
remember they failed to win a game
in their Afcon qualifying group
they were behind Angola, Sudan
and Niger
so you know these are teams
that aren't even Africa's best
but any stretch of the imagination here
they're in England's group
Garner they could be in real trouble
they're in England's group
with Panama
and Croatia as well
I mean you know
given how they played against Austria
I might have been
Beck Garner to finish
bottom of that section
but we shall see
look we're dancing around
some picks here
we've got the Daily Double as well
which is a same game
Parley in this game
because it is the big game
of the day
one of only two that we're previewing
so Rory
So Chris, are you Daily Double here for this one?
Yeah the Daily Double is Germany
to win to 0
that was at plus 108 earlier
and Germany at halftime
and full-time results
that comes in at plus 140
it was early plus 135
it's just come into
yeah I think Germany
as we've been saying
got very clear
favourites
I can't see a way in which Garner
take a result in this
so it's about
stepping around to that
and trying to find ways to get value
I don't see this Garner side
particularly
getting on the score sheet
maybe
I mean some venues
obviously are brilliant player
they're like
Suleiman, it's obviously got talent as well
but this Germany
is probably going to dominate
a lot
and if I'm really nervous
when I'm looking at this
and saying well look
one thing I want from today
after that's
what's the long game
is a clean cheat
so bring me that
at the end of the game
yeah I think Germany
pretty clear favourites
and I don't think we need to
kind of
go over that I guess
yeah moving on to the prop bets
maybe
yeah look I think
this is fair I think
Germany will come out
absolutely flying
half-time full-time
throwing to nil as well
I'm amazed that
to nil is plus money
the last deluxe
it's around about evens
throwing half-time
full-time as well
get it to plus
135
it's a nice
daily double
and Julian Augustmann has come out
and he said that he thinks
that Garner will try and
park the boss
and it'll all be about
fast breaks with
Semenio and he says
as long as we can
manage that aspect
of the way that Garner
plays here
it's going to be all the
pressure from Germany
so that's the max of a
fast start
and hopefully
few worries
at the back
that is the daily double
it's the same game
parlay
Germany to be leading
at half-time
and full-time
and we'll throw in
Germany to win to nil
as well
plus 135
just a couple of plays
you want to talk about
from a
prop bet standpoint
Rory
we've mentioned
Volta Marder
you've got him
and another
that might be interesting
to follow
you
just for a heads up
worth being attention
because last Thursday
it was I think I missed
the daily double
but got just about
everything else
absolutely
no that's very true
and it was
and it was the early game
as well
it was Turkey
and I don't know
Chippy Chips
Chippy Chips isn't in the
chat today
but Chippy Chips said
over one and a half
goals every single game
and it was the Turkey
game that let him down
and let us down
everything else Rory
got spot on pretty
much but yeah
anyway go on
brutal brutal
yeah
Volta Marder
over one point
five shots on target
if he does start
that's at minus
109
if you add in
Leonard Carl
to get a shot
just a shot
plus 109
that bumps out
up about 20
so yeah I think
Carl is the interesting
one especially
if you're watching this
in play
if he comes on
Carl anytime
is Dave Clark
says
if he comes on
get him on the
shots on target
get him on shots
starting him
on a point
one
but yeah
between the two
then Volta Marder
and Carl those are the two
kind of
I guess storylines
and narratives
and watching more closely
because I think
erot 2
that probably
want to prove himself
most in this game
yeah
it would be a first
start for the
senior national side
for Leonard Carl
who's been brilliant
for Bayern Munich
this season
and I can't
to assist futures on Bet Rivers,
know is the answer.
And rather, curiously, top goalscorer is now missing
from the futures, maybe someone's piled in
to the alphabet here.
But anyway, closer to the time, Joe,
I will guarantee you that there will be
so many different markets when it comes to the workup.
And I know that you might want to get an early
and try and get a bit of value at the minute.
They are not there.
I've not really looked to see if they're anyone else
if I'm honest with you.
Not at the minute, Joe.
The real branding king says probably an overreaction,
but first top scorer at workup,
but a little pizza money on a 40 to one,
not the worst.
I mean, he could have a really good workup.
Where else have we got here?
Joe, I'm so curious to see prices on the amount of
Fernandez, what for for assists?
Yeah, it could be interesting.
Stephen says, got on Cypress at minus 142.
Well done, you let's hope the book he's
aren't throwing as a curveball.
Yeah, that is a value play,
because the minus $2 or something around that at the minute.
Just one of the play that I thought about
if he does start for this game,
and that is Joshua Kiddick.
And if it is a game in which Garner Bunker in,
he might have an awful lot of the ball
if he just plays fullback as he did against Switzerland.
He always loves this shot.
He scores some brilliant goals for Bayern this season.
Had four shots on target against Luxembourg admittedly.
That was Luxembourg in a workup qualifier,
but he also had a shot on target against Italy
in the nation's league quarterfinals, wasn't it?
Going back.
So look, he's a regular
and you can game up plus money for just one or more
shot on target, have a look at him.
And also I thought if they do bunker in,
have a look at over six and a half corners for Germany,
minus 120, their average is all work out.
And if it's going to be Germany,
just peppering the Garner goal,
then potentially over six and a half at minus 120
might be a play.
In terms of where the monies come for 94% of the money,
96% of the tickets on Germany,
93% of the money on overs,
77% of the tickets on overs.
The line is high though, at three and a half.
Do you have any sense?
Just took Ayatabal,
the group spanner's much easier than what France have got.
I mean, this is it.
You've got to look at who they play as well.
Sorry, Rory.
No, no, just my last take on that one as well.
The money, the Asian handicap at minus 2.25
was plus 100 for Germany.
So if you do fear that on those,
then perhaps that's one to get involved with.
Because I think they're probably clear too,
at least, and then that maybe gives you
a happy unit to play with down the line.
If it does, just if they declare it too to speak.
But yes, continue.
Are you thought up?
Yeah, Joe's taking the price.
And also Messi could be a play for assists.
Yeah, all those specialty markets
will come through a little bit closer.
Obviously, when myself and Rory are back on
Wednesday, we will know the full World Cup lineup.
Certainly the European teams.
I'm presuming all the international playoffs
will be done and dusted as well.
And yeah, Joe, look, he's always worth looking.
And obviously, you know, this Joe,
he's worth looking at group games in particular.
I know there's an extra round now
because it's a massive World Cup,
but it's sure you play in the group games
that might, you know, we've seen it time and time again,
a strike or get a hat trick against a minnow
and then score a couple more.
And suddenly, you've got five goals.
You might be over the line.
You might be for a place effort
anywhere when it comes to when it comes to goals.
Couple more things to talk about before we wrap up.
We've got Rory on the show.
So we've got to talk about Spain.
Spain minus 770, same price as Germany are.
This is a friendly tomorrow through PM Eastern
against Egypt here.
What are your thoughts on this one?
Spain, easy winners of Serbia last time out.
They are on beaten for a long time.
I was looking at this two years since that friendly loss
to Colombia, obviously, Euro winners.
They did lose the nation's league final, obviously,
on the shootout, but in terms of 90 minutes,
Spain just don't get beat.
What do you like in this Spain friendly tomorrow, Rory?
Because you got the Serbian one spot
and it was Spain winning over two and a half.
Yeah, Spain probably heavy fibres
was one of three and a half to Lainda.
I think it's just a little bit high for me to get involved
with as a kind of confident bit
because I think it's Egypt side will probably
kind of bunker down a little bit.
The one I liked for this one was over seven and a half shots
on target.
That's the overall game plus 100s.
That seems quite generous to me.
And the other one, Spain halftime, Spain full-time result
plus Ferran Torres over 1.5 shots on target at minus 1.17.
And I'm almost certain that Ferran Torres is going to start.
I think Louis Deventante will do a good bit of rotation.
He's one of the players that will start Danny almost,
probably enough a little start.
So we'll look at shots on target for him as well.
Yeah, I see just being a bit of a rotate performance from Spain,
but Spain are good enough to rotate
and still win this quite comfortably.
Will they do it by two, three, four goals?
That's probably the biggest question.
I mean, Egypt, I think are a more solid side in Serbia
if I think that's something to kind of take into account.
Yeah, I think that's fair.
I mean, they beat Saudi Arabia in a friendly ferry fairly easily
last week.
And I've not got too many defeats on their card.
They were beaten in the Afcon Sabis.
Was it against Senegal?
And then they were involved in the third place playoff.
I'm just looking at result says Neil Nielson,
not quite sure what happened in terms of a shootout.
But yeah, you're right.
Even though we always look at Serbia and think
they've got some talented individuals,
collectively, they've been underachievers,
I think, for the last decade, really.
And an Egypt might just be tougher opponents.
Anything else to add, Spain, Egypt?
Nothing too much.
I would say probably Luminiumau, yeah,
wait till the certain lineups before you start betting on that
because I could see him.
The word is very much that we're not
going to risk people.
Zubimendi was sent home yesterday.
That's right.
I think Luminiumau will come off the bench if he does play.
What he'd like us to maybe want to look at,
but when I was looking at it,
I don't think the odds were that kind to be properly honest.
So if he does start, I expect him to get at least one or two shots
and talk to him.
Um, uh,
to buy him says,
Germany and now minus nine, 10.
These friendly prices are wild at the minute.
Um, Joseph, Spain starts against a Cape Verilla.
That will be a bit of a plug bath.
He says could see a hat trick from anyone,
but you have to take someone else from Spain
to just for a bit of insurance.
Uh, this is a true, um,
plenty on the chat about that Spain game.
And just before we wrap things up,
because we covered the, um,
the playoff semifinals last week,
I thought we might as well just get a little bit of opinion from, uh,
yourself already when it comes to the games tomorrow.
Obviously, Steve will be proving this lot, um,
extensively tomorrow, some really good, uh,
games, a lot of jeopardy,
because literally there will be four teams from this thought
that we're playing in the World Cup finals.
So there's an awful lot on the line here.
Let's rattle through this lot, uh, Rory Kosovo, Turkey.
I think Turkey will win.
I think minus one 17 is fair.
We like one or two of the cost of employers,
but I thought Turkey controlled that win, uh, last week.
They are away, but I bet the mid you think it's going to go through here.
Kosovo, Turkey.
Yeah, Turkey definitely tuned into tomorrow's show,
because as you can see there,
the slate is right for picking a lot plus money there.
Turkey, probably my favorite is against Kosovo.
I like Kosovo,
but I think you'd still have to describe it as a shock.
If they were to beat Turkey and Turkey,
that place are afraid of feeling to be honest.
Yeah, I think Galera and Yildes were, were fantastic.
I mean, they should have won by more than one.
They didn't create lots,
but they just had a lot of control in that game.
Sweden against Poland here.
Yocross got a hat trick.
Of course, uh, Lewandowski was on the score sheet for Poland.
Sweden are favorites after that win over Ukraine.
The minus one on four.
Don't think I'll be backing, uh,
Graham Potter side at minus one on four.
Difficult one for me.
This one, Rory, who goes through?
Yeah, Turkey, I would probably just about give the edge
of Sweden being at home.
I think over two and a half goals at plus one away
is probably the price.
I like best out those, uh, two teams that we both
have established we have no faith in.
So yeah, Turkey won there.
But draw, um,
Czech Republic by all accounts were down and out against the Irish
before that penalty, um,
and they came back and obviously won the shootout,
which makes me think that Denmark might be a bit of value.
And how soft to worry because, uh,
you tip Denmark, um, minus one and a half on the Asian line against
North Macedonia.
They, they, they came through that pretty easily.
And I know they're minus money here, but only just,
I don't think that's the worst bet if Denmark can start strongly in Prague.
Yeah, Denmark for me as well.
Good price to be honest to get them out,
because I think they're a bit of size than the shit in Czech.
Yeah.
The one, I guess, uh,
caveat is that Schick is probably the best striker in the game for me.
But I think Denmark should probably just about
go through.
I don't know if the Czech vehicle advantage is that pronounced to make Denmark
kind of the outsiders for that one.
Um, and Bosnia hurts the governor against Italy,
Italy minus 195.
I'm sure you have seen.
I'm sure a lot of people have seen the Italian player celebrating
when Bosnia hurts the governor defeated Wales in issue.
I mean, if you're, you know, the coaching staff,
but I don't know who's in charge of Bosnia,
who's governor, but you're, you're saying they think you're easy.
I mean, that I would not, I think Italy probably will go through.
I will not be betting them at minus two dollars whatsoever.
You will steer clear.
I mean, that's just going to give a lot of incentive to,
to Jekko and Cohen.
Obviously, Jekko spent time in Italy.
As we know, and he's 40 and he's still scoring goals.
I just won't want to bet Italy.
I, what do you think, Laurie?
Yeah.
What's the modern equivalent to stick that up on the dress?
Yeah, exactly.
I think the iPad, so I don't know what it is.
Yeah, but, but yeah, I think Italy probably, again,
similar to the previous game, they're going to sweat,
but I think I'll probably just make it through and can you get any value out of that?
Probably not.
Maybe an end play one, to be honest, but, but yeah, tough, tough call for that one in terms of price.
Yeah, I think that is, I'll probably end up backing Bosnia hurts the governor
on an Asian line, I think, just for a little bit of fun.
Tomorrow, because I think that was pretty disrespectful from an Italy point of view.
The teams are out.
They're on the chat.
You can see Cyprus mold over.
I'd like to be able to talk you through the teams with a little bit of knowledge, but I can't.
The only thing I've got, I did pull out a goal scorer and then realized there was no betting on the goal scorers,
but Anis Pitas is Cyprus's leading active scorer with four.
He got four goals in work at qualifying, and he's not having the worst season in Bulgarian football,
whatever you think about that level, he's got seven so far this season.
And he does start there.
He can see Pitas for Cyprus a few years ago, and probably going that sort of 15 Cyprus had some really good results.
And a couple of their club sides, one might have got through to the Champions League group stages,
but the money seems to have, seems to have dried up a little bit in separate football.
They're not as good as they used to be, but I'd still bet them to be that particular
Moldova inside, as we mentioned before, their top goal scorers were 18.
This season hasn't played in 2026.
And that's maybe one of the reasons, even though it's public knowledge that they've been punted into,
wherever they are, minus 190, the last I looked for that particular one.
What have we got on chat, Barron says, said Denmark should run the checks in midfield,
and we're in easy 2-3, oh, say easy, 2-3, oh, to 0-1, something like that.
Steve is going to be with you tomorrow for that one.
Just a reminder of the daily double, Rory, talk us through this.
Yes, Germany, half-time, full-time result, and Germany to win to 0 at plus 1-3-5.
Germany is strong favorites for this game, I expect them to dominate in the first half and the second half.
And this Gana side, I'm not sure I have enough faith in them,
having only scored one goal against Austria, Japan, and so Korea to breach this German defence.
So yeah, you're in Nagelsman's side to win it a bit in all areas I would suggest.
Yeah, Winter now I think is really fair, boosted up with a half-time, full-time,
hopefully Germany will start quickly and keep Gana out.
That is a lot from myself and Rory for today.
We know it's only a small state, but thanks for joining us anyway on this Monday.
Tomorrow, there's so many fixtures to look forward to,
including those European playoff finals, and then after that,
we will know all of the nations that will be playing the World Cup.
And as I mentioned right at the top of the show,
not just being active today,
telling all of the handicapers what he wants from us over the course of the group stages of the World Cup,
and in fact prior to that,
there's an awful lot of content coming your way from all of the betting weekly gang,
so make sure you stay tuned over the course of the next few months.
For that, part three of myself and Rory's residency on this show
comes up on Wednesday.
Again, we'll look at the World Cup because we will know every single team
and we'll know every single group for the first time,
but we will have a little bit of a deep dive when it comes to some Segunda football.
Look forward to that with where we've got four games coming your way,
and pretty sure they're stream live on the Bet River's app.
And they're all on Wednesday evening, European times,
so they're a good betting angle for state side players.
Hopefully, you will join us for that.
But tomorrow, Steve's with you,
and plenty of World Cup chats and key games across the continent.
Thanks for listening to Betting Weekly Live on the Bet River's network.
