Draft But sporting newswriter Vinnie Eyre thinks they should act sooner by signing free agent Najee Hitters to bolster their backfield. Harris put up solid numbers during four straight 1,000 yard seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last year, he joined the Los Angeles Chargers under Coach Greg Roman and showed early promise before a torn Achilles ended his season after just three, games. Roman now coordinates the Giants' offense, where they won a power runner to pair with Cam Scottabo. At 6 foot 1 and 242 pounds, the 28-year-old Harris fits that role. Not everyone agrees with the idea. Some analysts point out the Giants already have quality options in Scottabo and Tyrone Tracy, plus they kept Devon Singletary this off season.
