The Giants' history of issues has made it hard to build excitement, even with the Super

Bowl winning coach and a tough quarterback already in place.

Edholm praised the early offensive additions, but pointed out gaps, especially on the offensive

line and defensive interior.

Ricard is uncertain with options like Evan Neal, Marcus Embo, and Greg Van Rotten competing.

Cornerback and depth remain concerns too.

With the fifth overall draft pick, the Giants could target a linebacker like Sunny Stys,

Safety Caleb Downs, or Cornerback Mansour Delane to fill.
