Giants Meet Linebacker Hill for Draft

The New York Giants have a meeting lined up with Texas Linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. at

the Long Horns Pro Day next week.

They're eyeing him as part of their pre-draft work ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft to shore up

their linebacker spots.

This 6'2-230A pound standout has dominated college ball.

For three seasons with the Long Horns, Hill pouted up 249 tackles along with 31 and

a half tackles for loss in 17, sacks.

His awards stack up too, including big 12 defensive freshman of the year and freshman

all-american honors back in 2023.

He kept shining with first team all SEC recognition in both 2024 and 2025, plus second team

all-american nods, those same.

That kind of resume has scouts buzzing about his fit-in pro defenses.

At the NFL Combine, Hill clocked a 4.51 in the 40 yard dash, jumped 37 inches vertically,

and went 10 feet 5 inches.

Broad?

Analysts peg him as an early day 2 draft pick with the speed and coverage skills to slide

right into a week side role for teams like the Giants.

Meanwhile, he's drawing interest from others, meeting the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans

at the pro day 2, followed by a top 30 visit with the Minnesota Vikings.
