BIO:

Jonathan was crowned Paralympic T64 High Jump Champion at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. One year to go to Paris 2024, he proudly defended his World Title in Paris and has started 2024 defending this World Title once more. He now strives to do the same with his Paralympic title this summer.

Defying Gravity and Championing Resilience, Jonathan emulates this mind-set in his athletic performance and in inspiring others. Jonathan has learnt what it takes to transcend his inner limitations and build resilience in the mind. He took himself from someone who was a victim of his own adversities, to someone who used them to make him stronger.

He gives credit to the leadership styles of the people around him and in recent years, the members of his team that helped him turn a run of silvers in the sport to Paralympic Gold.

Born with clubbed foot, from county level basketball player, to para- classified high jumper, multiple global silvers to Paralympic Gold medalist during a pandemic and ascending through the brutal course of Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins, Jonathan talks about his journey of developing resilience in his mind and what he has learnt from those around him.
