We don’t live our lives in a vacuum. We all seek love and look to share our lives with another person in a meaningful way. But sometimes we find love in the wrong places and end up in a situation that diminishes us and makes us feel empty and unworthy.
The worst part about being in this kind of toxic or abusive relationship is that we often don’t know how to get out of it. The abuser will do anything to get us back, and often does with promises that things will change. Unfortunately, they often don’t.
