Greenlaw Returns to Niners, Ready to Shine

The San Francisco 49ers just brought back Linebacker Dre Greenlaw on a new deal, and it's

a move that feels right from the jump.

They never won in him gone last year, and now he's rewriting that chapter after a rough

stint with the Denver Broncos.

Over in Denver, injuries hit him hard, keeping him to just 10 games, including the playoffs.

Switching from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 scheme, threw him off too.

Especially without enough practice reps to get comfortable.

Greenlaw opened up about feeling out of sync, dealing with rehab more than ball, and splitting

time with other linebackers who were already locked in.

That frustration built up, leaving him unhappy on a squad, paying him big money, but not

seeing him at full speed.
