Jesus knows his sheep, and they recognize and follow His voice—which forms the foundation for genuine spiritual intimacy.
Glory, glory, glory to the Lord our God.
What a wonderful day yesterday was, inside and outside, and of course I'm not only speaking
about the weather family, I'm speaking about inside oneself as well as outside oneself.
I'm speaking about having a day off and utilizing it to reflect on what is going on inside
me as well as what is going on outside me with the people and the world around me.
I mean I didn't necessarily engage with people yesterday when during my outside reflection,
I just sat with the Lord and asked questions about the current heartbeat of the world.
This devoted time with the Lord family, it wasn't planned, it came about as I was lying
in my bed.
I realized that this week, before a week of spring break, it's not a heavy week in school.
So I lay silent for some time, just basking in the fragrance of the Lord, just reflecting,
being still and silent, yet actively aware of this presence, then the reflection began.
And I tell you firmly, reflecting on oneself is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding
exercises one can partake in.
I was able to see growth and maturity, yet while also being exposed to the other half of
needing to come up higher, to die more to self and give completely to God in every area
of life, my life.
And that's what the challenging part was for me, because I thought I had surrendered
all.
However, God graciously showed me areas that needed total surrender, and he would be glorified
all the way.
Oh, hallelujah.
Father God, I thank you today.
Oh, hallelujah, I love you, Lord God.
Hallelujah.
God is as we delve deeper into your world, Father God.
I mean, just really getting into your world, your world begins to get deeper inside me.
And I know, I know Holy Spirit that this is your presence taking up occupancy, hallelujah.
You are causing me to realize that you do not want just one or two rooms within me.
You want this entire temple, so Lord God, hallelujah, I open every door to you.
I surrender the hidden places, the rooms in my heart that I have kept closed off, whether
out of fear, pride or comfort, shine your light in the darkest corners of my soul, Lord God,
and sweep away anything that keeps me from fully abiding in you.
I welcome you, hallelujah.
Glory, hallelujah.
I welcome you into my thoughts, into my desires, into my worries, and into my hopes.
Make my heart completely yours, Father God, hallelujah.
Transform me, Lord God, by your word.
Yes, indeed, transform us, the children, by your word, and renew our minds just as you
have promised.
Drawing us closer, teaching us to delight in your presence above all else, let your wisdom
fill us, Lord God, let it guide our steps, shaping our choices, and helping us discern
what is good, acceptable and perfect in your sight, hallelujah.
We love you, Lord God.
We declare it done, and we give you all the honor and all the praise.
In the mighty and majestic name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Holy, grace and
peace, family, today is Tuesday, it's March the 10th, 2026.
My name is RJ and it's my honor to welcome you to another episode of God is faithful and
just, with all things being a relationship, indeed, he is a marvelous God, and his relationship,
our relationship with him is primary.
I've scripture to meditate, remember and walk out this week his Romans chapter 12, verse
2, which says, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your
mind that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, and acceptable
and perfect.
The contrast that comparison that the Lord has given us today from this first family is
guessing God's will versus experiencing God's will.
Yes, the scripture tells us that by testing you may discern what is the will of God.
Our contrast and comparison, pastures are life under God versus life with God.
The life under God, pastures says, God's will fills mysterious and hidden versus the
life with God, which says, God's will becomes recognizable as we walk with him, glory hallelujah.
The Holy Spirit has given us to flesh out this concept of guessing God's will versus
experiencing God's will is the Gospel of John chapter 10, verse 27, my sheep hear my
voice, glory hallelujah, and as usual family, as well as required for teaching, we will read
the surrounding verses as well, therefore we will read John chapter 10 verses 22 to 30
and we will read it from the English standard version.
At this time the feast of dedication took place at Jerusalem.
It was winter and Jesus was walking in the temple in the Colomade of Solomon.
So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, how long will you keep us in suspense?
If you are the Christ, tell us plainly, Jesus answered them, I told you and you do not
believe.
The works that I do in my Father's name, their witness about me, but you do not believe
because you are not among my sheep.
My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me.
I give them eternal life and they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of my
hand.
My Father who has given them to me is greater than all and no one is able to snatch them
out of the Father's hand.
My and the Father are one, glory hallelujah, friends, family, do you hear that relationship
going on?
Do you hear Jesus knows his sheep?
He said and they recognize and follow his voice which forms the foundation for genuinely
spiritual intimacy.
This is what we have been talking about for the last 10 weeks, 9 weeks, this is the 10th
week and just think about that, think about it and I know you have probably heard it before,
you have thought about it for a time but think about hearing God's voice, family learning
to recognize God's voice happens through Scripture.
And we follow because He is trustworthy, He is faithful, He is just.
This is what we have been going through for the last 4 years, hearing God's Word each
and every day, receiving this day our dear grant.
My friends, family, hearing extends beyond the written Word.
The Spirit communicates awesome through prayer.
The Spirit also communicates through a prophetic Word.
The Spirit communicates through a Holy Spirit filled friend, even a song or lyric in a song
or a dream.
Friends, family, thoughts or words can come into mind and we sense they are the Holy Spirit
speaking, a voice that is in us but is not from us, something that my daughter Grace and
I speak about often, in fact we were just speaking about it just on yesterday.
When wondering if it's God, you can hold it up to His Word, hold it up to Scripture.
If you're not sure whether it's your voice or God's voice or even perhaps something
of the world or maybe the devil's voice, maybe trying to infiltrate into your thinking
and to your thought, hold it up to God's Word, hold it up to Scripture.
The mechanism involves spiritual perception rather than physical hearing.
We don't always hear God's audible voice with our ears or see with our natural eyes.
The spiritual world doesn't operate through natural senses, family, but coupled with Scripture
hidden in our hearts, this inner voice nudges us in the right direction or gives us a check
in our spirit.
I really like that part when Jesus assures that He said, I know my people and they recognize
and hear and follow my voice and He assures that they will not be plucked out of His hand.
The Scripture tells us that we are known fully and completely by Jesus and God knows His
children intimately and is fiercely protective of them.
This assurance family isn't fragile, your security isn't in Christ isn't based on your ability
to hold God's hand but on God's ability to hold you and protect you against spiritual
threats.
Rather than receiving a spirit of slavery as we learn in Romans 8 that produces fear,
no, you've received the spirit of adoption by whom you cry, Arba, Father, and the spirit
Himself bears witness with your spirit that you are His children, the child of the living
God.
Learning His voice simply means building a relationship with Him, getting to know His ways,
getting to know His character and getting to know His purposes and the entirety of Christian
life is about getting to know Him more through two-way communication, friends, family.
Jesus teaches that His followers recognize His voice showing that God's will becomes
clearer through relationship, not guesswork, therefore the concept of guessing God's will
versus experiencing God's will comes by way of relationship.
It's not a puzzle to solve, it's a relationship to walk in.
As we dwell with Him, abide in Him and allow Him to renew our minds, His will becomes something
we experience, not something we guess.
Life for God means His will becomes familiar, even like the voice of a friend.
So reflect where have you tried or treated God's will like a mystery instead of a relationship.
And what part of God's will feels clearer when you slow down and listen.
So our challenge for the day is like my own way yesterday, spend at least five minutes
family in silence today, simply listening for God's gentle direction, hallelujah.
Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, we love you today, hallelujah.
We thank you for your presence.
We thank you that you desire for us to know you, hallelujah, hallelujah, and you've given
us that desire that we might know you deeper and more intimate each and every day, each
and every minute throughout the day.
We give our all to you.
It's my darling Grace and I was speaking about yesterday, we intentionally devote our
time to you throughout our day, that the words that come out of our mouth, the thoughts
that enter into our mind, the actions that come about will reflect your glory.
We intentionally devote our time, our hearts, our mind, our bodies to you, that you might
be glorified.
This is our reasonable form of worship.
We bless and praise you Jesus and it's your mighty and magnificent name that we pray
and give you praise, glory, hallelujah.
Family indeed, walking out, sit with the Lord in silence, I dare you, I promise you God
will reveal Himself even more deeper.
Remember, do not be conformed to this wrong but be transformed by the renewal of your mind
that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and
perfect.
Rest in peace to your family, we love you, we look forward to being with you here again
on tomorrow and in the meantime, be that blessing to those around you, glory, hallelujah.
