When Ryan's twin is found to begin, it's on to rewind around with John Pollock and waiting.
The 18, that makes sense that these things we see in the ring every week on TV is rewind around.
From Monday night, the loader to the moon from the false wrestling side is rewind around.
From Monday night, on USA, now on the John and Wade take the mic.
The message is John Pollock and waiting Monday night.
Our Toronto Blue Jays are now three and one, but don't fret folks.
We have to get that one loss out of the way.
It's going to be smooth sailing from now until October.
Are you committing to keeping up with this team for the entire season?
Wait, I had picture and picture on all night.
I'm very committed, okay?
However, four is not much to brag about, John.
We'll check back in in June, okay?
I think I'll still be hanging around here.
It's a great day in Toronto.
The Jays, one loss aside, had three quality wins over the weekend,
and the Toronto Maple Leafs have fired yet another general manager.
It's a wonderful time in the city of Toronto.
Oh boy.
I did not expect that one.
We did experience like, there's in the 20s.
Dude, which was insane.
It was like zero over the weekend.
And today, it went up to like 18.
It's just, I wore like a spring jacket outside.
I was sweating.
I was naked.
I ran out naked.
Oh, so happy.
Yeah.
Practicing for that CM Tower climb.
That is exactly this.
We're doing it naked this year.
Yeah, it was wonderful out today, but it is so inconsistent.
Like, it could be snowing tomorrow.
Yes.
Well, it'll, anyway, you'll get your Toronto weather update on Wednesday.
I'm sure from us.
Well, let's alert everybody to what the weather report is going to be like at post wrestling,
the week of WrestleMania, because I'm announcing it now way.
I'm letting, I'm letting weigh in on this secret that I've been holding.
WrestleMania week, we have decided.
You know, last year, way, way was gone for WrestleMania week.
And I had to kind of, you know, figure out how are we going to do this with,
and we're tingles.
But this year, we have way on board.
And I've decided I'm going to make up for next year.
I'm going to work this guy till, to, to the bone this, this week of WrestleMania.
And we have decided that beginning Monday, April the 13th, all the way through WrestleMania Sunday,
we're going live every single day.
Live shows each day, one PM Eastern time beginning Monday, April 13th.
We're going to have a lot planned for that particular week.
This will culminate with WrestleMania Saturday night, Sunday night, that way ting and I will be covering.
We'll be joined by some of our friends here at post.
You know, you don't know who will be dropping by that week.
But we will be live for all of our members on the post wrestling cafe for that entire WrestleMania week.
More details to come.
Yeah, it is our, our World Series, you know, we, we put in certainly extra effort.
And I think our families put an extra effort because they're not going to be able to see much of us of that particular week.
I know a lot of the shows take place typically from Thursday to Sunday.
But we will have coverage in bonus shows starting from the Monday.
So we're treating this like an actual week, not just WrestleMania weekend.
But once the weekend comes around, we're going to be trying to cover really a whole lot.
We're not going there, but we can actually do more coverage this way.
So sign up to the post wrestling cafe for the month of April where we are going to be offering 50% off for all new members.
So if you ever wanted to sample or jump back in now is actually the perfect time because this is one of our busiest times of the entire year.
You'll get all access to our WrestleMania week coverage plus throughout the whole month of April.
All of our extra shows including multiple editions of rewind away, which includes this week where on Tuesday, we are going to be releasing rewind away number 203 covering spring break from 2018.
Joey Janela versus great Sasuke and I can officially report that the stream on Triller does in fact include the late night karaoke that took us to four in the morning.
That's why that's why it's the video so long.
All right, thank you.
I'm happy just to hear that.
I thought for sure this would be cut off before karaoke and in fact now we get great Sasuke and all of his glory with some incredible indie level audio quality on this stream.
So that is coming up on Tuesday.
We're doing it on Tuesday this week because of collision airing on Thursday.
So you're going to get rewind away a couple days early this week.
But this is a show way and I attended in 2018 when post wrestling was a little infant.
We were just crawling.
We hadn't even learned our first words attending spring break to in New Orleans.
So we'll be looking back at a show.
I'm going to guess way you have not watched since you were there.
No, no, no, no.
I am at PCO versus Walter, which is I think these standout match from that show.
One that I feel like is still very much attached to like Gunther's career, you know, present day.
So I'm very much looking forward to this.
I have to say like till now, probably my favorite experience of that particular weekend.
And I can't wait to try to describe maybe in hindsight.
What exactly I was feeling?
Like what was it?
Like 1 a.m. that we sat down for that that show when that cluster of fuck was entering.
It's like what 30th participant.
I don't know.
Like it was it was the closest thing I'd I've ever come to like, you know, feeling like I was high on drugs.
From watching a wrestling show.
I remember that it was around 145 in the morning and way just after seeing PCO nearly decapitate himself.
Moon salting through a table.
He said, you know what?
I think that guy PCO might retire John Cena one day.
It was like 50 50 shot.
So that's coming up on Tuesday.
I'm looking forward to doing that review with Mr. Taken.
The O Tuesday night slash Wednesday morning.
All right.
We're going into raw from Madison Square Garden on Monday night.
Russell takes last number 17,726 on the broadcast.
They announced 18,171, which is not too far off from last November when they had seen as last appearance at the garden and last raw.
18,528.
So we're probably talking multi million dollar gates that they have drawn at the garden over the past couple of months between the November raw and tonight show when you're talking about this number.
I don't know what Jeffrey Ross had to spend the the roast master or L Duncan.
But I'm sure that the other fans more than made up for the cops.
It's the last bastion of unifying content for us.
There's a lot of unifying content on tonight's broadcast as we create the moat around wrestle mania's activation.
And activated first was the Cody versus he comes out.
And before Cody can address the crowd, Stephanie McMahon are to be Hall of Fame inductee comes out announcing this is the house her grandfather built and Stephanie.
It's a big reaction from this crowd.
We can't just move on from that like did you do you think there's anything to take away from saying that instead of maybe attributing something to her father.
Well, I wasn't expecting there to be any references to her father, but I would be incorrect in that.
And if the sides you consider this to be a continued perhaps like recoloring of their own history to attribute may meet the foundation of this company more on.
You know, Vince senior and not junior.
I didn't read that into this because I feel if let's say the other side and she had said the building my father built.
That wouldn't be accurate.
Like I think we would have been criticizing saying like Vince senior ran this building for years and years before his father did.
Okay.
He wouldn't say that though.
She'd be saying like the place where my father created wrestle mania or she could have said that and obviously did not.
So I don't think I certainly don't think they're going out of their way to make any references to Vince.
But I also would not have expected the line at the end of the game going out of the way to ignore him.
Right.
Yeah, I think that there is a.
I certainly feel they're at a point right now like when we saw the scene of retirement and they used Vince and that was largely like that was not a scene that was rejected by people or you know and WWE could have gotten away without using that on the scene of retirement and they chose to.
I don't think they view Vince as completely just totally radioactive.
But I don't think they're going to make any inferences to him unless absolutely necessary.
Well, they did in this segment.
Well, I mean, it's one where I mean, it's not later on.
You're right.
You're right.
So let's go through the she states that herself, Randy and Cody are all multi generational talents.
And Cody, you have straight to stay true to your values all of this time, but you cannot beat this version of Randy Orton without thinking the way that Randy does.
Dusty understood that better than anyone, but Cody, you are not your father.
And the crowd starts chanting Randy and Cody knows everything about Randy Orton.
He lists off all of his history saying, Randy did things that are so vile.
We can't even air them today and some of it was to you, which I think is still their most watched YouTube video of all time when Randy Orton kisses Stephanie McMahon's unconscious body.
And then Cody describes becoming Randy's babysitter on the road, having to turn the volume down to make sure he was still breathing.
As he drooled over himself, a huge endorsement of the wellness policy at the time.
If they have one for much of like, I guess like when Cody was absolutely all wellness policy era by the time he was called up as he's basically describing the fear of this guy odying with him on the road.
He says, I am not the student and I'm not afraid of Randy.
He says, I'm not my father and Stephanie, you're not yours either.
And Stephanie's response was to slap Cody.
I don't know how much of an insult this would have been in 2026 to say, you are not Vince McMahon.
Yes.
Now, Stephanie's words after this seem to indicate maybe the slap was to like you could say maybe just to wake Cody up so that she finally he finally listened to her.
But in this moment, it felt like she was taking offense to him claiming that she was nothing like her father.
And what, you know, like what is what does Cody mean by the law?
Did Cody mean that like you don't have the killer instinct of your father?
Like what exactly did Cody mean by saying you are not like your father either?
You're not the subject of multiple lawsuits.
Yes.
I give a clean driving record.
Yes, we could go on.
Like it was a way to compliment Vince or somehow or I mean, or what?
Like what would or just a way to get a cool line.
So that Stephanie would slap Cody.
Yeah.
Well, I think the audience took it as he was insulting Stephanie, just like Stephanie, it said, you're not your father.
Dusty understood this better than anyone about playing dirty, playing dirty, getting into people's heads and you're not your father.
You don't have that level you can reach.
And yeah, it came off here as Cody, you know, stating that Stephanie is not at the level of her father, which is a very weird line just to introduce here.
Like I, I don't know why.
Like I feel this promo would have been identical without it, but they clearly set this up with the each commenting you're not your father.
Like this was 100% by design for this big like vincism at the end.
They needed a way to drop the tension big enough so that Stephanie would deliver her signature slap to Cody.
I feel like that was probably most of the justification for for the line.
But I mean, again, because Vince is such a hot button topic, I guess what are we supposed to take from it?
You know, maybe he can say, you know what, I'm not the student anymore, but I know plenty about education.
Unlike you, Stephanie, because you're not your mother.
That would have worked.
Yeah, much better.
So why don't we go cook up some steak and pour some A1 and we'll chat about your mother's role as a department.
I guess I was going to say how much does her mother know about education?
So after the slap, Stephanie responds, Stephanie was very good with delivery here stating that she is here because she cares about Cody.
Orton doesn't just listen to the voices in his head, he beckons them and loves what they're telling him.
And he's listening to someone else as well, which is the reference to the phone calls that he is receiving.
So Cody.
So hard.
So you are of the belief that Stephanie is that person.
I think it's a, I think it's, it's an option that's introduced now that this is Stephanie is working with with Randy.
I think it's at least a plausible option here that you have.
And if the available people you have, I mean, how many people do you have that you can reveal that are going to be of substance because I am not banking on it being Dwayne Johnson coming back for some Randy Orton mentorship.
Stephanie, what is Stephanie mentoring Randy Orton better or as could even his you could certainly make the story of one of Randy's biggest rivals and he's getting the advice from.
Paul Vax wife like and there's a bigger story that you could do there if you're looking at ever bringing Stephanie into a role within the company, which it certainly seems that it's at least a possibility at some point.
Like I don't think this is the last we're going to see if Stephanie it seems like this was to introduce her just for some type of role.
Yeah, yeah, I guess so. I think it would be an interesting way to like see the story unfold. I just wonder if it would be disappointing for some people and I also wonder if like doing the reveal this way, getting people talking about it would take the bite out of the actual reveal if she is supposed to be the person.
Well, Cody grabs her by the arm and then says Stephanie, I've got two words for you. Thank you.
And with that, Cody leaves and Stephanie has this diabolical smirk on her face as Cody exits. Okay, so you're really thinking Stephanie is the person.
I'm just like that was that was very clear here. This this look on her face like she had accomplished something. So I certainly took that as the seed being planted here of something with Stephanie.
And I'm not saying that with any idea of like where this payoff is with the phone call and where this all goes, but I think the idea of Stephanie being further involved is certainly possible.
Now what would Stephanie let's play this up. What would Stephanie's motivation be? Why would she have any incentive to want to see either person win?
Why would she care to have Orton win? I think you know, it even needs to be listen, I thought it was a great segment. I personally really enjoyed it. I thought like Stephanie, you know, her appearing in an in storyline segment felt significant because I feel like it had been so long. I thought she performed her lines well. I think, um, you know, she because she's a career heal.
Her being the one to tell Cody, you need to step it up. You need to play dirty or I think works, you know, because she she's an expert at it. But I do think like the motivation for why she cares about Cody, you know, doing well was kind of missing a little bit.
And it'd be missing from either end, which of course they could find a reason for I guess it's a little bit vague at the moment.
Yeah, I mean, you could you could get around it in many different ways like this is, you know, you you establish this connection with Randy and it's just simply like this throws Cody off of his game.
Like we're basically kind of redoing this this match from last year with with Sina where it was like, is Cody going to go to this darker place against John Sina.
That's kind of the same thing here that they're playing with with Cody of like this, this inevitable turn that they keep introducing with Cody.
Yeah, it's Cody. Are you going to give me your soul, but in a different way.
Does he stare at his hands at some point during WrestleMania? Do we get a hand stare? I think he will grab the championship belt.
Referee will be down and he will look and wonder, am I should I would have my father have done this.
Maybe we could get some AI and he looks into the title and he's a father. We get some a one technology and there's dusty speaking to him from the championship belt.
You think we're far from that. We're not we're going to get a whole like another COVID strikes.
We're getting a whole AI generated WrestleMania.
Let me tell you about this guy, Mark Shapiro. He talked about activations. I don't have dusty in me. I think I've exhausted dusty. I'm done.
This month we're also bringing you reviews of spring break to from New Orleans in 2018 and a special patrons pick edition of rewind away.

Street fight LA night shows up. He's going to be on commentary and meanwhile we had Kofi and Javan Evans speaking in the background where maybe Javan was telling him.
Yeah, man, I'm I've got a match now for Mania. So I definitely don't need the new day at this point. I'm good. Who are you wrestling Kofi?
He might find himself in this ladder match. Kofi. Maybe. Maybe.
The Usos take on Logan Paul and Austin theory street fight and there's no Paul Heyman out. J hits a dive early on we come back from break.
We've got all the weapons vision used trash cans, but then they run into one another and they place the trash can over each men's head and attack it with chairs and kendo sticks.
And then there's a superplex to theory. He goes through a table with the Usos and Logan Paul's mother are we keep in count of how many comps there were on the show Logan Paul's mother scored a front row seat and hands Logan brass knuckles and with that LA night jumps up from the desk comes over and Logan Paul
yanks I show speed over the turnbuckle and as LA night is getting involved I show speed mistakenly clocks LA night with the brass knocks and he plays it up as a mistake and he's regretting what he did.
Jimmy ducks the brass knocks super kicks Logan and then there's a superkick to theory a spear by J and then Logan cracks Jimmy with the brass knuckles.
He goes down in the ring J leaps off the apron, but that leaves Austin theory to roll on top of the unconscious Jimmy and pins him in eight minutes and 47 seconds giving us new tag champions and I show speed pose with the vision as Logan Paul tells I show speed to stick with them.
And I think this is our probably last match to add to the WrestleMania card.
Which is what what's the match I think it's the Usos and night against Logan theory and I show speed.
So I show speed in the wrestling match I think so.
I mean if if the idea is to get there I it's certainly unexpected when we think about the vision we think about like you know maybe the how how much airtime they've taken and maybe just even the tone of the group itself being I would say like
they you know they were trying to portray him as the most dominant group on raw itself.
And to suddenly involve the streamer like the twitch I don't know if he's on twitch or YouTube but like the sort of like I don't know like comedy guy like you know involved as part of the vision.
I certainly unexpected.
But I felt like it was an interesting in like it made sense the way that they dragged him in there as this sort of like forest gum type of guy who like doesn't know what he's getting involved in and of course you tied all back to the day and housing curves.
I felt like this was all effective in at least like telling I show speed story as a guy who just like somehow found himself in the situation unwillingly and now is stuck in the situation.
Yeah I mean it's it's something to do like I do see a lot of value in having someone like an I show speed and I think that they thought that like last year's rumble went off really well with him.
And I think they are just looking for you know some type of pseudo celebrity involvement and I show speed crosses that that threshold for them and it's something to get again it's getting people on the card.
I think if they you know LA night sort of felt like odd man out here and this is just a way to get him on the card and they needed a third person and this seems to be the third person they're going with.
Yeah I mean of course is the company that loves its celebrity interactions and I'm sure I'm sure there's going to be a way that they'll measure this on social media reach.
Would you consider this as maybe one of the likely candidates for the ESPN portion of the show.
Yeah that's possible they they could do this on ESPN there's a few options of what you could do.
Yeah I wonder if Dan Housen might find some attachment.
You could put Dan Housen in here because it certainly doesn't feel like you know if Kit Wilson is going to be on the show it's going to be a non wrestling role but you could see something on the show with Dan Housen I imagine.
Maybe he'll come out to he gets to announce that next year or where it's a rabie of Saudi.
If they don't want the announcement boot I feel like your best bet might be by giving it with Dan Housen.
Yeah maybe he can go out there and make that announcement.
Lib Morgan comes out and tells Vicar you're done for bitch because you attacked daddy Dom my family and says Vicar you don't have any family here and asks if she's scared to confront her one on one and says this is where I come from and where I come from it's on site and then live Morgan broke out some Spanish I'm not going to try it here but called her mother trash.
This prompt Stephanie is basura yeah this sounded sounded worse than when I translated it I was like you know what it's it was a good delivery by live.
It was great excellent Vicar comes out they just fight she drops live with a kick and gets a chair but gets jumped by the returning Roxanne Perez was back and live hits an oblivion onto the chair holding up the belt as live gets the advantage in yet another segment between these two.
So what was up with Roxanne Perez she had I think it was like a mass removed of some sort she had to have like it was like a small operation but she's been off I believe since the rumble.
Do you see a match for her a WrestleMania I don't it like her and Raquel I can't see them forcing them into that tag match I kind of why not.
I guess you could but then why not do the area five five teams come on I said teams seven teams eight teams.
Listen I think Raquel is worked really hard like I I feel she deserves a spot on the show I just don't know where it is I guess that would be your best bet but this is like one of the few shows where you had all the women here under one roof.
That I feel I would have I would have done the angle on the show if that's where they were going toward I I could certainly see them both getting involved in this match like they'll have a place on the car just maybe not a match yeah obviously as a heel you know having the rest of the day next to live plus dawn you know like just stacks the odds against the baby face which which is very sensible I do wonder if like if not for this operation if like Raquel sorry.
You know Roxanne would have had a more dedicated story for us on any season like this really is unfortunate timing to be out for so long I would I would think her and Raquel probably would have been in that that tag match you think yeah maybe.
The care yeah the cares just laid out and then we go to the vision backstage and I show speed says he didn't mean to get involved and Logan says you now have enemies just like I do so stick with us.
Hey man tells them you're in good hands the vision will protect you and he sends them off to go have dinner so I do like this that they do with the vision in this whole Rollins deal is they explain while why all the members are not there to help him and in this case they were sent off to take speed out for dinner then they did the segment where Brock has left the building so you don't have that question mark of why is nobody coming here to Paul Heyman's aid.
Then way WrestleMania we can continue to grow because Sunday night after you've spent the whole night at a legion stadium.
You can go to Gronk Beach for a party hosted by Rob Gronkowski with Tiffany Stratton trick Williams and lash legend appearing I would put this as this would be neck and neck between attending this or.
Staple my eyelids shut and just running into a wall repeatedly those those would be the two options I'd be weighing of what I would rather do.
Well a lot of people would probably choose this over stapling their eyeball shut yeah.
Berk Chrysler going to be at Gronk Beach I don't think so is what is is Gronk Beach is it I suppose it's going to be an actual beach.
I don't know some some hotel right.
So there's that roll right I will flow right I will be there.
Machine Kelly machine Kelly in the Saturday where's a little yoddy.
Probably be what one of these places she has on night Valentino Khan the the in house DJ they incorporate.
Wow sounds like a blast and how much how much FOMO are you being hit with at this moment we're looking at this.
And I'm like I'm just I'm really missed having to pay $50 for a drink.
So I might I might be enticed to check this out.
How about the Rogers Center non alcoholic beer choices are they within.
Like the Corona yeah.
Okay.
We are going to do no coverage of Gronk Beach.
Exclusive for all our cafe members it'll be it'll be post beach.
The irresistible forces against Bailey and Lyra Valkyria for the women's tag belts are next jacks and lash get sent to the floor.
And then they get the advantage on Lyra when they return.
There's a pump kick leg drop combo by the champions on to Bailey who stops in a annihilator and power bombs Nia out of the corner.
That got a big pop.
She tags Lyra and then eventually all four women are down when the bell has come down followed by Char Alexa.
And they start arguing Lyra confronts all four Jackson throws Lyra into them and lash sends Bree and Nikki to the ground.
Just attack Nia in the ring for the DQ in 10 minutes and 44 seconds.
The fans boo this and the champions get knocked out of the ring.
And then we get the announcement of the four way match as Bailey has secured her WrestleMania spot.
Yes, of course.
I know you've loved this this build up of all the different.
All the different combinations of these teams and how we can DQ each team.
I feel like we've had four matches all together in this build.
And three of the four matches have ended in a DQ.
I think Bella.
Well, Bella Charlotte.
So last week had a pin.
But that was after interference, of course.
So this the booking of this build has been among the most lazyist and just like stereotypical.
They need a way to justify the four way I understand.
But this has been like spectacularly uncreative and very lazy.
But I do like there are some positives to take out of the match itself.
I thought last legend continued to like look really strong.
Like her positioning as on this division as a powerhouse is something I didn't necessarily expect after seeing her run NXT.
But she plays the role really well, you know, powerful or stuff.
I would say it looks pretty smooth.
And you know, especially against like lighter baby face like Bailey, baby faces like Bailey and Lyra who work together really well against like the Giants in this match.
I thought they did well.
Finish the side, you know, which is just shit.
Fatal four way no DQ.
Get your big payoff at WrestleMania.
Yeah.
Also for Ria and or Roxie Roxane and Raquel in there.
Sure.
Sure.
Get Julia and Keanu James in there.
Jordan Grace need a partner.
Be Fab and Meachin.
That's right.
Let's make it like a 12 team tag match.
No, that sounds amazing.
So I'm expecting Bailey and Lyra to witness, right?
Just to kind of maybe like go full circle with Bailey missing out last year now.
It's my thought.
I I would love if they just I like not in lashes champions, but you're probably right for the story they're telling to put it on Bailey and Lyra.
It seems like the the best outcome of these.
I certainly would not be putting the Bellas or Charlottes over in this match.
Yeah.
Dan Housen announces Saturday night to main event for the Garden on July 18th.
And Brock comes out in his gear with Paul Heyman.
Heyman was on the show a lot.
Lesnar's caught off guard.
He explains that Lesnar was caught off guard by Oba Femi two weeks ago being distracted by Rollins.
And last week Brock wasn't dressed to fight.
He just want to have a conversation.
But tonight he is dressed to fight.
And then Heyman goes on about men pissing themselves when they have to face Brock.
He went on way too long and then Lesnar demands Oba Femi come out.
So Pierce sends security down because he has to preserve this match for WrestleMania asking them to leave the ring.
And the lights go out.
Oba Femi comes out to an enormous reception.
He takes out security, including launching this poor dude into the air.
And this guy came down like on his hip on the floor.
It was just this man parished.
He circles around the ring and then he enters the whole crowd.
He's chanting holy shit when all of a sudden.
Look at this.
This doesn't even look like a real photo dude.
Look how high he got this guy that you this security guard is going to have this printed in frame.
Oh my goodness.
I mean, that's how you get a guy ready for the big show.
And it is so chaotic.
Who can who can hold these two monsters apart from each other?
Hey, we can't we can't do this air.
Oh comes Paul LaVac.
He just came out of nowhere here and he gets in between these two guys.
And my god, these two towered over little Paul here and he explains.
He also had to have sworn like five times here because they had to censor him.
And it only know he loves this way.
Don't you?
He was probably working out their match here in the ring.
We just didn't get to hear it.
Fucking oba.
Fade to fucking black.
Fuck around.
Find out.
Fuck around.
Jacob Vatu.
Fuck's around.
Everyone.
Fucker.
WrestleMania.
Fuck around in WrestleMania.
That's our that's our new tagline.
Okay.
Fuck around and buy some goddamn tickets for Shapiro sake.
And Brock just for the hell of it gives this guy the security guy and F5 on the floor.
I think that these segments have been tremendous between these two.
Like it feels like when this match happens, I only think this has to go like four minutes.
And I will not be disappointed by this.
I think they have made this has been the simplest.
And I think it's maybe been like just for efficiency sake.
Probably the most consistent bill.
Like look at this dude in the front row.
This guy's probably out a third or fourth mortgage to afford this.
Guys have in the time of his life watching this guy plummet to his death.
They're distilling the program between these two to I think it's most base level.
And it's just the fact that they're both really big.
And you want to see them, you know, base each other.
No, like I don't know car crashing car crashes or like yeah, I don't know.
And even like promos honestly to like, you know, help build this up.
And I think it's been tremendously effective.
Like there's something magnetic about just simply seeing these two stand next to each other in the ring.
And I think this provided like a nice little teaser of what that would feel like if it was just the two of them.
About to start a match.
And so, you know, having love that come out.
I mean, I suppose it just adds like what a layer of maybe surprise or realism.
Yeah, it didn't hurt.
Yeah, very good segment, I thought.
Finn Baller video.
He explains how judgment day was his family.
They ran raw for four years.
And he did things he was not proud of.
He made some bad decisions.
One was thinking he could make a man out of Dominic.
He turned to Baller when he was lost.
And boy, the shots of Dominic Mysterio in 2022.
The man has come a long way.
He lost the icy title because he's a self entitled Jackass.
But I helped create that Jackass.
I created Dom.
Now, I'm responsible for destroying him at WrestleMania.
Yeah.
Yeah, decent little video.
You know, keeps the momentum going for a little bit, you know.
Two more weeks.
I expect something in person next week.
Will they be under one roof?
One of these weeks.
Probably both of the weeks.
Okay.
Under multiple roofs across state lines.
Penta and Kofi Kingston for the intercontinental title.
They really promoted Penta's match April the 11th with Elhield Delvicingo.
They made multiple mentions of it for Mexico City.
It was like the hardest they've pushed a triple A match since they've gotten in business with them.
Kingston gets caught off the top into a lung blower.
Grace at Waller's in the corner and is arguing with Kofi.
Kofi wants to do this on his own.
And Waller's trying to interfere consistently.
And then Kofi leaps over the top, turning into a trust fall.
And is caught and dropped on the desk.
And Waller leans over telling Kofi, I guess you did need me.
And while he's hunched over, Penta leaps and hits a Mexican destroyer to Waller on the floor.
Penta rolls Kofi in and then in the most impressive near fall of the match.
Penta leaps off the top and gets hit with a trouble in paradise in mid air.
This was awesome.
This was almost too good of a spot to waste on a TV match you were about to lose.
Cause this, this was great.
I think this crowd like bought this as preposterous as it was of Kofi winning this belt.
But it was great.
And Kofi tries for a superplex.
It stopped any loses to the Mexican destroyer in 958.
But really good ending to this match that the two had.
Yeah, certainly.
I, I, I thought like the match was all right.
And I didn't really find it all out engaging until the shenanigans.
But I mean, a lot of that might be influenced by what this crowd was reacting to.
I mean, this was a show and maybe this was a crowd that I don't know if they were that loud for the actual wrestling itself.
Until things like run ends started to happen.
Because that's kind of how WWE conditions you to watch wrestling.
Nothing matters until the shenanigans.
Until the person runs in or somebody does the distraction.
And the show, the way the show plays out, it kind of confirms that.
So I don't know how reactive most of the crowd were to the body of the match itself.
But like once they did all that other stuff, they, they saved the big spot for that final moment and certainly look great.
So Jackie interviews Penta and asks, what are you doing at WrestleMania?
And Penta says I spoke to Adam Pierce and he is going to have a ladder match.
And they would reveal the field later on.
We got the announcement of the like the witness protection program of qualifiers that have apparently been going on on main event every week.
That's what they explained here.
Michael Cole said that there have been qualifiers taking place on main event every Thursday online.
That's of course that okay fine.
So they must have just looked at the main event results and said, yeah, they've all won their matches on main event.
Okay, so there we go.
We have got Penta defending against Dragon Lee, Javan Evans, Rusev and JD McDonough.
They stated this is the field so far.
I'm expecting six in this match.
We will see whatever number they settle on.
But certainly this is a match that if you want to get somebody on the card, this is a match you can put them in.
Of course they didn't give a number of how many will end up in this.
But I mean 15.
I mean, why why stop it at any one?
Why don't we go three digits?
Like let's just get everybody on on media from all brands, all levels TNA.
This is talent.
This should be it's great.
It's great.
I mean, it's obviously they don't have much story here.
But there's room for a match on the show that should just be purely like promoted based on action.
And you throw in this set of wrestlers along with the ladder stipulation.
It has a chance to be one of the standouts on the show without necessarily needing to sacrifice any of your airtime to promote it.
This should be excellent.
Like this match.

Pierce finds Heyman and says Brock has left the building.
And throughout the night, Pierce has been asking Heyman, have you checked your email?
And Heyman is not an email guy.
It turns out and says I don't do emails.
I keep my ear to the ground and tells Pierce listen to what I have to say out there as he proceeds toward the ring.
Dominic came out.
I think this was a Netflix break, basically just stating he'll be the last man standing at WrestleMania with Finn Balor.
Really didn't have much to say.
Heyman announces that Logan Paul and Austin Theory are your new tag team champions channeling Howard Finkel.
And he says I tried to give you people Brock Lesnar versus Obefemi tonight.
But he runs down Adam Pierce and Pierce comes out telling him about the email.
Heyman refers to it doesn't matter if I hack into emails or I'm on calls.
I'm not supposed to be on some some great Paul Heyman legendary lore of incidents and states.
Well, he is informed by Pierce that the Boston police department have dropped the charges against Seth Rollins.
And Heyman tries to no sell it.
He says, yeah, I knew that Heyman explains I fear no man.
I'm the last manager standing from the 80s.
And I'm the last promoter standing from the 90s as we get our second Vince McMahon reference of the night.
Yeah, I guess you're right.
Pierce says that Rollins is also medically cleared and with that Rollins music plays and he appears from behind Heyman.
And he is also thankfully shed the ninja gear and the ninjas and the ninjas is all of that.
Just in the the rear view mirror from now through Mania.
I mean, maybe safer of WrestleMania entrance where I suppose they could do a duper shell game.
You know, it's a comfort to have you play whack a mole and fine set.
I hope this is the end of the eye when I saw him in just a normal outfit.
I was like, thank you.
I think we're all ready to move on.
It's a really cool way of sort of like rolling that into it.
He's like in a black suit with like a black trench coat.
Sure.
Looks cool.
Punisher Seth.
So Rollins shows up from behind and he's got the chair and hits Heyman from behind in the back with the chair.
A nice nod to the multiple attacks of Seth in the past.
And then he goes for a stomp when Gunther makes his return dragging Seth into his peril, chokes out Seth.
And somehow in all of this Gunther managed to cut himself over his eye.
They actually got color here in a sleeper spot.
He must have like hit the back of his head on Seth scholars.
He hit it on something like he had a cut like above the eye here was a nasty little cut that he got here.
But there you go.
I would say the the two big question marks everyone had it ended up being putting the two of them together.
From my understanding this, this is not like something they just came up with now.
Once Bronson got hurt, I believe this was the plan that they were going with with Gunther and Seth.
And that's the match.
And what was Gunther's plan before Gunther's plan.
Was it Ray?
I did.
The lineup I had I did not have that as the plan.
That that could have been discussed.
But I know as of about a month ago, this after Bronson had been hurt.
This was the direction for Gunther.
Okay.
So what does this tell us about Braun Raker and his prognosis?
I think that with Braun, I would imagine that he's going to be back pretty soon.
I think it's just like, do they save him for Mania the night after Mania?
Like, I don't think he's going to be out for a super lengthy amount of time.
He was reportedly ready.
If he was ready with it, not had put him into this match against Roland.
They could have unless they have a bigger idea for it.
And then it becomes it's like we haven't done anything with Braun and then Gunther's odd man out.
And we need a spot for Gunther and a big spot for Gunther as well.
So it might have just been the case of like, I don't know Braun's official clearance status.
But it sounds like he should not be out for too much longer.
Okay.
Interesting.
So, I mean, as a match, it sounds awesome.
We just need a reason for it.
And I think the best you're going to get is, Heyman needed a...
His guys are hurt and he needed to enlist someone.
And I don't know if you're going to get much more than that.
Heyman's got a really big promo next week, I think, to explain this one.
But it's, you know, it's certainly like this is now Seth's, I think,
third opponent for WrestleMania.
It's crazy.
So, you know, they've really been riddled with injury issues.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And, you know, maybe just looking ahead, like having Heyman and Gunther attached together,
might naturally bring us to Gunther versus Brock.
Gunther versus Brock.
Gunther versus Roman Reigns.
This might be a short term thing, but you could argue like it could,
you could have some runway with this.
Heyman, like if Gunther is going to be programmed with these guys, like,
oh, sorry, you're talking like Gunther being on the opposite side of Brock.
Yeah.
Like, right.
Possibly retiring Brock Lesnar is what I'm saying.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And would you be seeing like Brock as a baby face at that point?
God.
I mean, depends how Minnesota reacts to him, like for, for SummerSlar.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like that, that probably is the play.
It could be.
Yeah.
There's certainly a lot of ideas you could have coming out of this.
I guess the bigger question is if you have Gunther go over Rollins.
Like if you're building them up for all of this stuff, does it really,
like the story kind of calls for a Rollins win?
But I don't know if you want to be beating Gunther if there's bigger plans for Gunther.
They're bigger plans for Rollins.
His feud is with Braun.
His feud is with, is with Bronson, right?
So I think he could lose on route to finally like beating those guys.
It breakers healthy.
You could also involve breaker in the finish as well.
That kind of, and then that detour Seth and I would not want to be beating Gunther until
it's, like Seth is not the guy that should be beating this person.
Like that should be, you know, your, your next wrong up.
So there you go.
That was a setup.
Raquel Rodriguez and Eo Skye.
That was announced last week.
Skye hit multiple bullet train attacks.
Hit an Aussie moonsault.
And then the Kabuki Warriors come down.
And Kyrie is being pulled down by Asuka against her will.
And with this, she gets on to the apron.
And Raquel runs at Eo.
Eo moves out of the way.
And Sane gets booted.
And then after Eo hits a tornado.
She hits a bullet train attack onto Raquel.
As Asuka is grabbing Kyrie and Eo sees this injustice happening on the floor.
So Eo decides to take matters into her own hands.
And she goes for a dive.
And it turns out her revenge on Asuka was.
I'm going to try and kill myself in trying to take you out because Eo came down.
And this was it.
She came out up instantly.
And I didn't know how she did because this looked like she came down right on her head.
It looked so rough.
The landing here.
But she just got right up and returned to the ring.
And because of the distraction, walk right into a Tahana bomb and Raquel won in 1025.
In storyline.
It's because of the distraction.
In storyline, it could also be because she landed on her head.
I mean, that's that's perfectly logical reason to lose the match was because she just like killed herself on on the floor here.
So.
I mean, I guess this is.
So it's a full Eo into the realm of Asuka and Kyrie.
Or at least like confirming that might be their WrestleMania direction.
I'm thinking Eo versus Asuka.
And if that lands on the on the Mania card.
Yeah, that seems to be.
I mean, they're they certainly shot this this angle.
Like that seems to be the only direction to go.
I can't really see a tag coming out of this.
So.
I show speed has another streamer that you could just put with Eo.
I mean, just find a streamer.
This is a storyline that they've been building for a very long time.
You know, everything is starting from Kyrie and Asuka and Eo together as a unit.
And then.
And if they weren't doing something, you would think the Kabuki Warriors would also be involved in that women's tag.
Like they were more connected with Bailey and Lyra.
Yeah, yeah.
But the breakup of damage control just feels like so far in the distance down.
They have kind of kept it hot.
But I feel like since Rios been off of raw.
The like really like all three of them have felt like they're they have it has had as much of a presence on the show.
And therefore, none of this feels as hot as I think like it could it did maybe months ago.
So with two weeks to go without like a rear-ripply attached to it.
We'll see how well they can heat things back up by reminding us of everything that went on until WrestleMania.
This is where they run through all the updated lineup for WrestleMania, which we can go over at the end.
And we got the video of John Cena announcing he is hosting.
Jackie interviews Pierce and he says that Seth is pissed off.
He's cleared.
He will face Gunther at WrestleMania.
So just tons of announcements coming fast and furious.
Last segment Roman Reigns comes out.
And the Reigns chance turn into punk chance.
And with that punk makes his way down and Phil is pissed.
He's wrapping up his hand.
He's got the real glass Crimea River look on his face.
He's just marching towards his target here to have a word.
And they just go at it here in the center.
And they head to the floor.
Pierce races down with the officials.
And they save Roman from taking a GTS.
So Roman gets free and spears PD Williams.
Then punk lifts him up, hits the GTS.
And Cole explains punk is the crazed one now.
And punk continues to strike and then punk just lifts this dude for a power bomb through the desk.
So it's quite impressive that he got this man up so cleanly and put him through the desk.
And then sits next to Roman and starts doing the Roman Roman Reigns and Michael Cole just being Michael Cole.
There's that crazed laugh again.
The damn this thing I've ever seen.
Ever 30 years on this program.
Never has he's power bomb through the desk.
Damn this thing Michael Cole has ever seen.
Who's this guy?
Hey, I think I know the guy in the damn jacket sitting in the front row.
Oh, really?
We both do over from Jeff Ross.
Yeah.
This is the friend of the show.
Oh, my goodness.
How did you get there?
How did you get those ticket Brian man right there with Jeff Ross?
He must have been chaining Roman.
But that's the damn this thing I've ever seen.
Yeah, here for Phil's go home.
Brian man enjoying the show maybe, you know, enjoying the some interaction with Jeff Ross as well.
So front row tickets there.
Hello, Brian man.
Nice to see you.
I thought like I'm in agreement with a lot of people in feeling like this.
This has been like a pretty long, you know, feeling build so far.
And I think the peaks of it were the promo segments.
We are just at this point.
I think like doing a bit of a paint by numbers.
Like we have to do the pull apart.
We have to do the physical, you know,
Roman gets the advantage last week.
Physically punk gets it this week.
I'll say I didn't think I didn't need another promo segment tonight from Reigns and punk.
I feel like we've done that.
I guess you got to do that the go home show.
Yeah.
That said, like for this crowd at the garden,
I could imagine they were a little underwhelmed that like they didn't even get promos from these two.
It was pretty much like you got the power bomb spot.
Like this was kind of promoted as like the whole main event of the show.
But again, I didn't spend they sounded really loud for it.
You know, I'm like, I've complained about this on Friday.
But like I think they've they've overdone the whole pull apart security,
gets like wiped out type of thing.
But it does work.
Like it works almost every single time in these these officials.
Like what do you think the Fitbits are on these on these producers?
Like that they rack up.
We're and wearing God damn is Chris Park during these pull aparts.
He would steal the scene wouldn't he?
He'd take the attention away, unfortunately.
Like you can't do a spear on like Chris Park.
He's just like, he's too big.
Oh, Mr. Brooks, Mr. Brooks, the match, the main event.
Would you like a sour patch?
But Pete Williams getting some physical.
Yeah, look at PD there.
Yeah.
Getting a mention on commentary too.
Yes.
Well, there you go.
That was raw.
I mean, it was a big show from the garden.
And at this point, we pretty much have the maniacard quickly going through here.
And then we have the main.
Stephanie Vickair, Lib Morgan, Cody and Randy,
Jade Cargill, Rhea Ripley, Oba Femi, Brock,
AJ Lee Becky, who are not on the show tonight.
Sammy Zane, Trick Williams for the US belt, Jacob Vahtu, Drew McIntyre,
Dominic Mysterio, Finn Bal, a ton of singles matches on the show.
No wonder so many people are like off the card.
The latter match, which we have five participants.
And then the four way, fatal four way for the women's tag title.
So 11 matches so far.
I think we can assume LA night and the Usos against the vision.
And, and I guess we'll see about EO and Oscar as well.
If that was the case, that is an odd number of matches.
Did you say 11?
Because at least what competed seems to indicate 12.
And I believe almost everything.
Oh, you know what?
I had not refreshed.
You say Rawlins and Gunther.
Oh.
So if Rawlins and Gunther, that makes 12.
And then they could go to 14, I guess.
I guess that would make seven matches each night.
If you include EO, Oscar and the vision tag manager, the Usos and LA night,
that would bring us to 14.
So a lot of matches for, you know, 11 on each night.
Plus you have John Cena segments and God knows what else on each night.
Like these will be lengthy shows.
We're probably looking at like four and a half, five hour shows each night.
How much of it?
So one hour on ESPN and then how much in the paper be window?
PLI window.
Like how much total including ESPN?
I'm thinking like five hour shows each night, which would mean.
I think it's like four hours after ESPN.
I could see it being that long.
And then we got the Cronk Beach.
I mean, at that point, I mean, I between Tony Hinchcliffe and Cronk Beach,
I mean, like do you even come back for Monday at that point if you're a pro wrestler at that point?
Like just call it a career if you've survived those two.
Did you enjoy tonight's show?
How did this compare to your other live sporting experience this weekend?
I think what did they call that?
The Budweiser Pavilion at the Skydome was much more enjoyable.
Like this is not a bad show, but it felt like the type of show that was catered towards
like a big market mass and square garden with a lot of media attached to it.
It was certainly low on, in my opinion, quality in ring action.
Or at the very least it wasn't necessarily the type of crowd that I think responded well
to quality in ring action.
Like it's the type of crowd that I think responds well to heavily promoted matches.
It matches with a lot of significance attached to it, which,
on raw, you're not necessarily going to get.
But you know, there were a lot of big developments on this show, namely between Gunther and Rollins
and also the confirmation of, well, I show speed being attached to all that stuff.
So for that reason, it was a very relevant show.
I wouldn't necessarily say like, maybe the best watch, if that makes sense.
All right, everybody, that's going to wrap up the free portion of the show.
