I'm Nicole Parton, Gypsy Rose Blanchard recently took part in a social media trend to
discuss the tragic murder of her mother and her time behind bars.
In a TikTok video posted by Influencer Natalie Reynolds on March 21, Gypsy, now 34, participated
in a viral trend known as We Listen and We Don't Judge, where individuals share personal
secrets or challenging experiences in a lighthearted way.
In the video, Gypsy, at the counter in the kitchen, addresses the camera.
She references the 2015 killing of her mother, D.D. Blanchard, saying,
We listen and we don't judge.
I went to prison for eight and a half years because I, and then pauses and makes a choking
noise with her arms crossed.
I, my own mother, Reynolds reacts in mild surprise, prompting Gypsy to reiterate, hey, we
listen and we don't judge.
As the conversation continues onto other subjects, some viewers express disbelief over the TikTok
with comments like, nothing funny about this at all.
And that wasn't cute or funny, while others questioned the appropriateness of sharing
Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen Syndrome by proxy and served time for her involvement

Gauda-John was convicted of first-degree murder in 2018 and sentenced to life in prison
without parole, plus an additional 25 years for armed criminal action in 2019.
After her release in December 23, Gypsy, now a mother to a 14-month-old daughter Aurora
with her boyfriend, Ken Erker, has been open about her experiences in interviews and
For now, the public outrage that she made fun of the murder of her mother.

A man has been taken into custody following the discovery of a disturbed
video that allegedly shows him sexually assaulting a three-year-old child according to
Authorities responded to a call on Monday at a residence in Covington, Tennessee.
A woman present at the location reported that while she was in the shower, she noticed
that 22-year-old DeAndre Dyson, a resident of the home, was filming her from outside
Upon locating Dyson, police conducted a search of his phone and uncovered a video depicting
him, engaging in sexual assault of a young child.
Dyson now faces charges of unlawful photography and sexual exploitation of a minor.
This investigation raises serious concerns on several fronts, stated Covington Police
We are working with the Department of Children's Services to identify all victims and to ensure
they receive the necessary protective and medical support.
While this case began with an adult, our detectives' diligent work has revealed the presence
of a potential predator.
Investigators have indicated that additional charges may be filed as this inquiry progresses.
In South Carolina, the search continues for a missing 15-year-old teen and her four-month-old
baby, the search, now in its fifth day, police say they believe she could have left on
her own, but worry about the safety of the teen and the baby.
The O'Connie County Sheriff's Office told W-Y-F-F that the last time Jasmine Sackanine
was seen was on Friday night around 11 p.m. at a home on Yellow Bell Road.
According to police, a family member reported her missing the following day, a spokesperson
for the Sheriff's Office said both Jasmine and her baby Elena are considered endangered
because of their ages and because Elena requires special formula.
We also learned on Saturday that the little infant does require a special formula, so therefore
because of those reasons, the missing person's unit considers them endangered, said Jimmy
Wat with the Sheriff's Office.
According to investigators, Jasmine could be wearing a beige shirt with flowers, black-ripped
jeans, purple nikes, and a heart necklace.
She would also be carrying Elena's diaper bag.
Elena's described as an infant girl, one-foot tall, about 20 pounds.
Our main concern right now is finding Jasmine and Elena, said the sheriff.
Investigators told W-Y-F-F on Monday morning there is no active search, partly because
they believe it's possible there is no criminal involvement, however.
The teen's family is desperate for search answers and is asking the public to get involved.
We don't know that there's been an abduction, said the police department.
There's no description of a vehicle, no tag number, no direction of travel.
The teen's family members say it's completely out of character and they believe something
terrible has happened.
Anyone with information is asked to please immediately reach out to police by calling 911.
