Hi, I'm Johnny Erickson Tata. Did you know that when you come up out of a deep disappointment or time of grief or life altering injury? Did you know that you may well be in the best position to comfort others who are disappointed or grieving or coping with a new injury? 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 4 says so, in a special way, you are the hands of Christ when you serve hurting people out of your own hardships. Because remember, the hands of Jesus bear wounds. His hands have permanent scars. And although you may bear a permanent scar from your own time of suffering, the helping hands you offer to others represent your Savior in a very special way. So if you're ministering to others out of your own suffering, be encouraged. Your helping hands have a powerful touch because the hands of Christ that you represent are the hands that have scars.
