Steve Wilson and his wife Lenni live in Scottsdale, Arizona. They have been married for 51 years, have 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters. Steve retired from the custom clothing business in 2019.  

In1976 he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Recently he published his memoir, Teetering on a Tightrope, my bipolar journey. For the last eight years he has been the facilitator of two mental health support groups in Phoenix.
