On Friday evening in New York the Atlanta Hawks continued to build upon their upward trajectory among movement in NBA Power Rankings and standings among the eastern conference with a win over the Brooklyn Nets. 

ATL's mentality in remembrance from previous meetings likely sparked runs that opened up the game at 10 before quickly reaching 18. That extended lead was cut to 4 which woke the sleeping giant and Atlanta never looked back, ultimately climbing the lead up to 34.
