Radio icon Jackie O'Henderson has launched an $82 million legal battle against ARN following the shock termination of her landmark contract.

The lawsuit alleges her $100 million deal was axed after she raised formal complaints regarding workplace bullying

and the conduct of her longtime co-host, Carl Sandelens.

According to documents filed this morning, Jackie O'Henderson claims her dismissal was a direct retaliation for exercising her workplace rights under the Fair Work Act.

ARN has denied the claims with both stars now pursuing legal action against the network.

The industry is bracing for a high stakes courtroom showdown over the future of the duo's legacy.

The Reserve Bank of Australia has announced a major win for shoppers by banning surcharge fees on debit and credit cards starting this October.

The move is expected to save Australians roughly $1.6 billion each year, ensuring the price you see on a menu or a price tag is the final amount to pay.

RBA Governor Michelle Bullock says surcharging has become too complex and confusing for the public to navigate.

While the reforms also lower the fees that banks charge small businesses, some experts warn that shops may slightly raise their base prices to cover these costs.

Despite these concerns, the RBA believes the change will create a much simpler and fair payment system for everyone.

The Fair Work Commission has officially abolished junior pay rates for young adults working in retail, fast food and pharmacies.

Under the new ruling employees aged 18-20 will no longer receive discounted wages and will eventually earn the full adult rate.

While the change won't apply to miners under 16, its estimated around half a million workers will be eligible for a pay rise.

Unions have hailed the move a landmark victory for equality, however the new rates will be phased in gradually over the next four years.

The first wage adjustments for young workers are scheduled to begin this December.

Celine Dion has announced her first concert series since being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome.

The legendary singer will perform ten shows in Paris running from September to October this year.

In a moving video filmed at the Eiffel Tower on her 58th birthday, Dion told fans she finally feels strong enough to return to the stage.

It marks a major milestone for the superstar who last captivated the world during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
