A Moment with Joni Eareckson Tada — Heavenly Hands. Machine-transcribed; use the interactive transcript above to jump the player to any line.
Hi, I'm Johnny Erickson Tata, and recently, I visited a local art studio. It was a big warehouse filled with big splashy murals. Oh, I sigh deeply, oh, what I would give to pick up a bunch of big brushes and create a wall-sized mural, but it ain't going to happen until heaven. And that's why one of the items on my bucket list for my glorified body is to grab the handle of a pink bucket, get a brush, and paint up a storm. Tap with my mouth, but with the gift of heavenly hands. And the meantime, I wait patiently. Because as 2 Corinthians chapter 5 says, while we are in this tent, we may groan in our burden because we wish to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, and as God who has made us for this very purpose. Oh, friend, please remember, you have a heavenly purpose, so when your earthly body groans with your desire for your heavenly body, just add a wish to your glorified bucket list.
