Hendon Hooker Returns to Titans, Joins Crowded QB Room

On April 1, Hinden Hooker just inked a deal with the Tennessee Titans, bringing the former

Vols quarterback back to Nashville.

Drafted in the third round, 68th overall by the Detroit Lions back in 2023, he's bounced

around the league since then.

He spent two seasons with the Lions before landing on practice squads for the Carolina

Panthers and New York Jets last year.

God activated for the Jets final game, but never saw the field, and in the NFL so far,

he's only played three games with nine passes thrown.

At Tennessee, Hooker balled out his last two college years after transferring from

Virginia Tech.

Started 22 games, threw for over 6,000 yards and 58 touchdowns, rushed for more than

1,000 yards in 10 scores even.

Led the Vols to the number one ranking with an 8-game win streak before a torn ACL sidelined

him.

Now he's walking into a crowded Titans quarterback room with starter Cam Ward, plus Mitchell

Trabisky, Will Levis and Brandon Allen.

Competition's fierce, but his home turf for him.

Titans also grabbed wide receiver KJ Osborne on a one-year deal after his stint with the

Washington commanders.

They're stacking the roster early, setting up an intriguing battle come training camp.
